Q:HelpingHand

A:Longest comment I've ever got. So here we go.

1. Thanks for the comment.

2. I actually forgot about these Tech Attacks, System Alliance AI could use them.

3. No Cryo Blast or Incinerators. MassEffect technology was so advanced thanks to the knowledge of the Citadel races(2500 years at least). There is no way they would have it without their support, and since the Citadel races here have taken a different technological path in this Universe, they will not have this. I am sure that in one of the chapters from the previous stories, I stated that the SA troops have Kinetic Barriers, and the special units use Energy Shields. It's just that armor batteries won't strain both of them working at the same time.

4. A slight overkill with these fighters having their own Tech abilities, unless they are AI fighters, which are relatively few. While I added Cylon species to SA in previous chapters, maybe the new advanced fighters could have them. But for some reasons, which I will give in this chapter (that was the plan, you just hit it well), that won't happen.

5. I saw this Generation Tech video. But you got it. I am planning such fighters for the SA. They were just about to go into production, although slightly different than what you stated. I didn't know about carbon nanotubes, but it's a good idea. Only SA already has its own version of Star Forge, although this one is much weaker(previous stories).

6. The idea with every factory on the planet for the SA version of the Vulture Droid is a good one, and I'll probably introduce it. But besides that, I have other plans (this will be epic, just wait for the next chapters). As for Incinerate and Overload, unfortunately, there will be none. Again, MassEffect is not advanced enough, and Overload is too powerful for just any droid to use. SA droids are so different that they do not actually cross the border of a supercomputer on AI( My reason is Video: „7 HORRIFIC Battle Droid Deaths That Would Have Been Classed as a War Crime" and others of this type from Geetsly's). But kinetic weapons are in my opinion superior to energy weapons in many ways, especially against organic enemies (Space shotguns there will be).

7. Great idea. And Droidekas may even have additional/better generators, so using both kinetic barriers and energy shields should be good. Additionally, I had planned on using CIS droids in the SA Army early on, although it would have been modified for several reasons(different technologies, SA first has to rearm its national militaries, build up its fleet and update the designs to modern standards, including SA technologies).

8. Superbombers built like Asari but in SA style. A genius plan and I was hoping to do something like that, but I was having this problem with the FTL drive. To think that I have missed the simplest possible solution. Thanks for this.

9. SA already has planetary defense ships for every colony(corvettes and fighters) and your idea would end up as a Peltast-Class Star Destroyer but on a frigate scale. Instead, it could build 10 corvettes, and PT boats, which are modeled on torpedo ships that were a little bigger than a fighter, which is something like the Millennium Falcon. So something that I planned to do in a slightly different style. So no, this idea won't work, unfortunately. But I can see why this can be omitted here. Star Wars and Mass Effect use different scales of ships. For example, the current SA corvettes are 60-70 meters, but according to Star Wars, the corvettes are ships ranging in size from 100-200 meters. The Everest-class dreadnought is the size of a Heavy Cruiser by SW Anaxes War College System.

10. Galaxy Gun for SA? Isn't that a bit over the top? The Sagan-class is already capable of firing at over half the speed of light (model made by Euderion. Actually most SA ships I use are his models, but slightly changed) and is a new command ship for SA fleets.

11. Interesting idea, but this chapter will present a problem with that idea. But given the circumstances, it is likely to succeed, although some adjustments will have to be made.

12. Honestly, I forgot Anderson even has a girlfriend. But I like the idea itself.

13. The war against the Hutts is unlikely to take place for reasons that I will give again in this chapter, or another. But surely SA fleets will be happy to help the Outer Rim worlds from pirate and mercenary attacks, reducing the Hutt forces and their influence in the region. The truth is, the Hutts still have a significant advantage over the SAs in pure numbers, and if the SA spies them into full war, remilitarizing them would confuse the downfall of the SA navy. There is a reason Empire didn't attack the Huttas, even if they could. If they did, the Rebellion might never arise, for Empire must wage a righteous war against the evil Hutts. Anyway, it was the Old Republic during the Pius Dea Crusades, when they were extremely militarized, they tried to defeat the Hutts and they failed. But their time will come, and the small raids on the bases of this who have attacked citizens of the SA will be very often.

Chapter 3 - Empire of the Hand

=place: unknown; April 16, 2188; 19 ABY=

The SSV Fuengirola crew was very concerned about their abduction. The sudden appearance of unknown ships, capturing them and then taking them somewhere to unknown regions was stressful, but fortunately, they didn't carry out boarding actions. So the entire crew, now with rifles, waited for their hosts to do something.

"I don't think they want to kill us." - Luke said at the meeting of both squads and two Jedi - "But they want to know what we've been doing here, and they won't let us go until they know the answer."

"And you read all this from their soldiers with the Force?" - James asked skeptically.

"Yes." - Luke replied.

"Okay, I take your word for it." - replied James.

"But that doesn't change the fact that we're stuck here and all we can do is wait for these guys to decide to let us go." - Jane said.

"Commander Shepard." - the Joker suddenly said over the communicator.

"Yes." - Jane and John replied simultaneously, somewhat surprising the rest of the audience.

"I see you now have 2 different voices." - Joker joked - "But I wanted to let you know that our hosts have just come out of hyperspace and we're headed for some unknown planet that has a large shipyard over it that looks bigger than the one on Arcturus. Next to it are standard defense stations, trading stations and a huge fleet. Including some super-capital ships, or Battlecruisers and Dreadnaughts if you prefer the Anaxes War College System. oh. A delegation has just entered the airlock and is standing outside our door. A heavily armed delegation."

"Thanks, Joker, we'll take care of it." - John said - "Kaidan and Khar'lin are coming with me to greet this delegation. If anything happens, Jane takes charge."

"Me and Mara will go too." - Luke said.

"Okay, but it doesn't guarantee your safety." - John replied and headed for the airlock. When he got there, he had the airlock opened and started talking to 'the delegation.'

"I am Commander John Shepard of System Alliance, the commander of this ship, and these two are my subordinates." - John said.

"I am Grand Master Luke Skywalker of the Jedi Order. And this is Mara Jade also from the Jedi Order." - Luke said. Fortunately, they had revealed their names to Commander Shepard and the others earlier, so they had already overcome the shock of meeting such an important person from a neighboring nation. To this, the unknown aliens nodded and said.

"While we've heard of the famous Luke Skywalker but not the System Alliance, you've both crossed the borders of the Empire of the Hand and you must answer for it. Our leader will interrogate you and, depending on your answer, either let you go or order you to be shot. So I advise you to wage your words." - said the leader of the unknown aliens. Although he had a humanoid appearance, there were a few differences, like the 4 fingers on his hand. But the armor was very similar to Imperial stormtrooper, with only slight differences in markings and construction that looked superior to Imperial. The group was quickly escorted to the shuttle, which headed for the planet. That it was highly urbanized and militarized was easy to see from above. Especially with many shipyards building ships from the smallest patrol ships to battleship- was it just Star Destroyer?

The group quickly noticed this, and upon closer inspection, it was indeed an Imperial-class Star Destroyer. But they had to stop thinking about it quickly because the shuttle landed in front of a large building that looked like a dome. Inside, they were escorted by guards and, on their way to their destination, they were able to observe the different species that worked in the shop. Although each wore a similar military uniform, reminiscent of the Imperials, they were specifically made for the species. Finally, they entered the room where they were to meet the leader of the Empire of the Hand.

When they saw him, the first thing they heard was Mary and Luke's surprised voices saying - "Voss Parck!"

"That's right." - said the Imperial officer, quickly gesturing for the five of them to sit on the prepared chairs, then continued - "Welcome to the Empire of the Hand, dear Jedi and strangers from the System Alliance. Although I am somewhat happy to see you, I must ask you for answers. Why were you in one of our facilities, what did you take from there and what did you do there? Also consider that your lives will depend on your words."

Shepard began - "The Galactic Empire attacked us a few years ago, and we've been at war with them ever since. Our intelligence managed to intercept information about a top-secret Galactic Empire facility, so we planned to obtain any valuable items and information."

"I and Jane have learned that the Caamas Document is being held at this base." - Luke said - "We were tasked with getting him back, but apparently we failed."

"Regarding this Caamas Document, we will probably be able to find it in our archives." - Voss said - "But we'll only give it to you if you convince me that it will help Empire of the Hand and your SA colleagues will say what they took."

"And what is the purpose of Empire of the Hand anyway?" - Shepard asked - "From what I've seen, you're greatly expanding your military and your leaders are from the Galactic Empire, if it wasn't the Galactic Empire that actually created you as some kind of vassal state. But at the same time, at least 15 different species are working in your armed forces that I've seen here so far, with the only humans I've seen so far just you. And they all seem to be working here entirely of their own free will."

"It's quite simple." - said Voss - "You see, the Emperor has learned of a great invasion force coming from another galaxy. Grand Admiral Thrawn joined the Empire because he saw it as the best chance to defend the galaxy from these invaders. Empire of the Hand is intended to be the first line of defense against these invaders."

"Yes, intergalactic invaders, very real." - Kaidan said sarcastically, which got him elbowed in the stomach by Khar'lin, to which he quickly replied - "What? You don't really believe these invaders are coming. Given the events, they must have known about him for at least 20 years, probably more. If they were going to attack, they probably would have attacked already."

"So tell me, what chance do you see of attacking against a highly militarized Empire with lots of superweapons and against a fragmented Republic that is highly demilitarized?" - asked Voss.

"Of course, it would be much easier to beat Republic." - said Kaidan as he suddenly understood something - "Wait, are they waiting for the Empire to be destroyed?"

"That's right." - Voss said - "Not to mention the many Super-weapons that would be useful, no, needed to destroy their largest ships."

"All right." - Shepard said - "Suppose such an invasion actually comes. Do you have any evidence to back this up or at least any information about these invaders?"

"Yes." - Voss replied, then switched on holograms of a species, along with images of various designs for ships, fighters, weapons, and technology.

"But they are!" - Khar'lin shouted in surprise.

"I see you've already met them." - said Voss.

"Yes." - Khar'lin replied - "It's the species that attacked Kharak just four years ago."

"And the ship models of this species were the same as those that slaughtered the Cylons." - Shepard said. As a Special Forces agent, he knew that this species had been identified as a threat, and the latter, greater than the Empire. Maybe all this information about a potential galactic invader was true.

"If you're saying he'll need military power to repel this invasion, then you should send us the data even more." - Luke said - "The New Republic is on the brink of civil war, while the Empire has been reduced to less than 1% of its former territories and resources. If we fail to hand over this document, instead of having the few percent of military power the New Republic can give you to defend the galaxy, you'll get 0."

"When you put it that way, giving you that document would actually be something Thrawn would do." - Voss stated - "But I still want to know what you took from our base."

"It's a clone." - said Shepard - "A clone of the Grand Admiral Thrawn."

At that very moment, you could feel a huge power disturbance. It was as if trillions of sentient begins had suddenly ticked off with relief that the greatest military genius in the history of the Galaxy had regained for its greatest trial.

Codex

Empire of the Hand - Founded by Grand Admiral Thrawn, it was a vassal state of the Galactic Empire. Created to stop the Far Outsiders(Yuuzhan Vong), it operates in an extremely effective manner with an extraordinary allegiance to its creator and leader, Thrawn.

The state operates as a loose confederation whose membership is entirely voluntary, in effect making the state more like the Old Republic than the Galactic Empire. However, it retains a formidable military force that, at the time of making contact with the SA, was second only to the combined forces of the entire New Republic(Regular Forces and SDF). Combining Chiss Ascendancy and Galactic Standard technologies, along with much better designs for ships, fighters, armor, and armored vehicles, along with a tolerance for all species and a huge degree of public support, he has created a much more stable government that can serve as a shield for the galaxy against the Far Outsiders.

Their territories span approximately 12 million systems with approximately 450,000 garden worlds. It is made up of over 1,000 different races and has a population of over one trillion, with almost 3% serving in various armed forces. Their fleet consists of 1,000 capital ships, 20,000 cruisers, 38,000 destroyers, 42,000 frigates, and 100,000 corvettes.

Currently, System Alliance is just starting negotiations.

Far Outsiders(Yuuzhan Vong) - From the few encounters, this was determined to be the most likely race of religious fanatics who want to exterminate all races that use mechanical technology (99.99% of the races in the galaxy) while using organic technology themselves. They have probably already infiltrated most of the governments in the galaxy, eliminating huge parts of their armed forces(Krogan-Citadel War). The strength needed for such an attack must be at least comparable to the Galactic Empire[1].

Alert! Extinction-level threat.

[1] I intend to GREATly increase the strength of the Yuuzhan Vong so that they will actually be a formidable military force. Star Wars has never been good at scale. For example, the New Republic 5th fleet from the legends had only 500 capital ships, which is 500 ships in sizes from 100 meters up (Anaxes War College System). The Yuuzhan Vong were supposed to have 1,000 to 2,000 capital ships (New Republic intelligence mentioned it once, but I don't know when). If I had given them in this way, the SA would have run them over on its own.
