I suppose I should introduce myself, but I won't. This is my first time posting here. I'm not sure how accurate I am with this little fiction poem that I wrote up. I actually originally wrote this for a class portfolio. The requirements were to submit eight journals, a vignette, a story co-authored, and any revisions. This happened to be one of many journals submitted for that portfolio. I got the idea for this while my sister was going on about the anime Inu Yasha to me. And here is the product of that idea which has gone through several revisions to date.

I don't own the character that this poem focuses on, or any other characters that has to do with the anime Inu Yasha.

Wind

You think you can control me?

I, the wind,

Ha! You are more foolish than I thought.

I cannot be contained by you or anyone else.

Think what you will,

For someday I will dance upon your grave when you are no more.

Manipulate, you manipulate everyone around you

Bend them to your will and watch as they unknowingly play their roles in your unholy schemes,

But I will not be played by a bastard such as you.

For when I am free,

And I will be.

I will destroy all your delusions of conquest

Your dreams will fade into nothingness

And I will leave you

Leave you for your enemies

So they can do with you as they please.

And when that day comes which shall be soon

I will be gone, free to do as I wish,

For I am the wind,

And you cannot control me.

I hope you liked the poem. Comments are welcome. Flames too.
