Hello Fanfiction!
Wow! Rise of Dark Silver has hit over 2K Views, and I can't believe it. Well, I'm here to tell you that the new chapter is coming out today! I got to see Black Panther 2 and I have to say that movie was awesome, but emotional I think I can only see it once since the movie got me crying three times in row.
Special thanks goes to Xyaqom, my best friend and beta-reader for helping me by putting this chapter together. Please check out his stories when you get the chance too!

Path of Moving on, difficult things to do but Mikan is trying her best to get over the ideas that her stepbrother, stepfather, and mother are gone. She does miss them but especially her stepbrother because she always spends time with her. Mikan's thoughts appear inside her mind, and her hand places the beautiful flowers down onto the ground.
"I miss you," Mikan responds to the gravestones of her family, but her voice is depressed, and she begins to get back to her feet.
It has been two years since Mikan witnessed the death of her parents and witnessed her brother being kidnapped. She was powerless to stop any of those events from happening.
Mikan is seven years old now and is seen getting dressed, getting ready to go to school for the first time in two years. This was because she was getting therapy for what happened two years ago, trying to get her mind back in working order and moving on from her traumatic past.
Mikan has grown into a beautiful young girl as her light brown hair is slowly becoming deep brown. Her outfit was a dark blue shirt with a dark silver skirt down to her knees. She puts her hair into the ponytail with her head nods because she is ready for the first day of school.
Just then, there was a knock-on Mikan's door, breaking her from her concentration.
Mikan turns her head, and she speaks, "Yes, I am ready to go." Her tone was tender, and her right hand took her light blue backpack with a black outline.
That is when Mikan's adopted mother walks in, "Hey Mikan, are you ready for school?"
Mikan nods at her adopted mother with a tender smile as she loves her adopted mother since they have grown closer like mother and daughter. "Yes, I am, mom." She responds to her as the adopted mother shows a bright smile because Mikan sees her as her mother.
"After you have breakfast and I'll drive you to school," Mikan's adopted mother responds to her adopted daughter as she shows a bright smile as she looks up from Mikan to see the drawings of her brother being her stepbrother, but she knew that Mikan missed him so much. The only cure was time for healing, and Mikan went downstairs of the upstairs hallway to see her adopted father.
"Ah, hello Mikan, how are you doing?" Asked Mikan's adopted father as he was sitting at the table reading the newspaper.
"I'm doing good, dad," Mikan responds to her adopted father with a respectful tone as she sits down at the wooden table and begins to eat her pancake at a comfortable pace as he shows a bright smile since Mikan has changed from a silent kid to a bright child.
"So, how are you feeling about your first day of school?" Mikan's adopted dad asks his adopted daughter with a kind-hearted voice as he hopes that she is ready to go back to school because it has been years since the counselor's help.
"I believe I am," Mikan responds as she eats her breakfast, and she shows a slight smile for her adopted father.
"That's good. I believe you're ready to go back," said Mikan's father.
"That's good. I believe you're ready to go back," Mikan's father says to her adopted daughter with a comfortable voice. Mikan shows a tender smile but hides the lost emotions since she wants Rito back inside her life.
Unfortunately, Mikan would not be seeing Rito again anytime soon, and she had to come to terms with that. Mikan has many hopes inside her heart that Rito is all right, and she could confess her feelings for Rito because Mikan placed the fork down onto the wooden table.
"Is something wrong, Mikan?" Asked Mikan's adopted mother with a concerned tone in her voice.
"Yes, I am," Mikan responds to her adopted mother as she eats the pancake again, and she shows a light smile because she did miss her brother. Then she continues, "I just missed them."
"I know," said Mikan's adopted mother as she placed her hand on her shoulder.
Mikan gets hugged by her adopted parents as she is enjoying the warmth and releasing the tears of trying to hold the emotions back. Mikan thought she had cried enough, she thought she moved on, but it still hurt when thinking about them. She was not fully over it as she wished. Her adopted parents held Mikan inside of warm embracement as they would not allow her to go into depression without their support or help.
"It's okay, Mikan. We'll always be here for you," said Mikan's adopted mother.
After crying for a couple of minutes, Mikan was ready to go to school as she was happy to go to school, and she was worried that many people would ask her about where her parents were or did, she have a real family. Hopefully, they would not ask her too many questions and just let her live her school days in peace.
Mikan was getting out of the house with her adopted mother as they went to the car. It was time for Mikan to return to her school after being gone for a year.
"Are you ready to start the school year?" Asked Mikan's adopted mother, hoping that her daughter was ready for this since Mikan showed signs of improvement.
"I believe I am," said Mikan, holding the straps of her backpack close.
It felt like time had stopped for Mikan. She arrives at Sainan Elementary School, which she gets out of the car as she sees other students who are talking to one another.
"Have a good day, sweetie," said Mikan's adopted mother.
Mikan nods at her adopted mother as she turns her head and begins to walk towards the crowd of students. She was heading to the Principal's Office to get her schedule from him, and she was scared about it. Mikan does remember what it was like at school but has forgotten about the feeling of it since she had not been going to school for the last few years.
Mikan enters the hallway to see the school colors were dark blue and silver as she enjoyed the color. She begins to search for the principal's office, and Mikan sees a girl whose her age.
This girl was around the same height and weight as Mikan, and she had short red hair down to her neck.
"Ummm… Hello." Mikan says it with a nervous tone of gaining the girl's attention.
"Oh, hello. Are you new here?" Asked the red-headed girl.
"Yes, I am, and where is the principal's office?" Mikan asks the girl with a soft tone, and she does not know where to go to get the schedule.
"Oh, let me take you, the school can be a bit of a maze for new students," said the red-headed girl.
"Thank you so much, and my name is Mikan Yuusaki," Mikan introduces herself to her new friend with a little smile, and she hopes they are friends now.
"Sachie, Sachie Kogure," she said.
"Sachie… That is a pretty name," Mikan responds to the girl with a bright tone because she made a new friend, which Sachie was blushing now.
"Oh... Um... Thank you," blushed Sachi.
Mikan showed a slight smile, but she was nervous because she had never talked with another child her age, yet she felt friendly around Sachi.
"So, what school did you come from?" Asked Sachi, thinking Mikan was from another school.
"Oh… I haven't been in school for years." Mikan tells her with a relaxed but stoic tone and expression because she could tell that question will be asked, but she answers it with the truth than hide it.
"Oh? How come?" Asked Sachi in a confused tone.
"I… I didn't come because I was through therapy." Mikan told her the truth as she did not want to hide that she had been gone from the school for a while.
"Oh? How come?" Asked Sachi.
"I rather not say right now," Mikan tells her because she does not want to bring up the past.
"Oh, okay," said Sachi.
Sachi was disappointed that Milan was not going to tell her but also knew that it was not any of her business and that Mikan would tell her if and when she was ready.
Mikan felt bad for not telling Sachi the truth about her past because she was not ready, even though her counselor told her to be available to get friends for herself someday.
"Okay, we're here," said Sachi, pointing at the principal's office.
"Thank you so much," Mikan tells her as she hugs her as Sachi could not believe how warm and comfortable Mikan was by just hugging her.
"Oh, you're welcome," said Sachi, surprised by the hug.
Mikan and Sachi could not figure on why their hearts were beating fast, but they ignored the feelings for now and pulled away from the hug.
"Anyways, the principal will help you from here," said Sachi.
"Um… Is it okay if you tag along with me because I'm a little nervous about meeting new people alone?" Mikan requests with a soft tone.
"Oh, sure," said Sachi, and they went inside the office together.
Sachi looked at Mikan as she wondered how old she was when her mind began to wonder what she would look like when she got older, like around sixteen or seventeen. But she quickly shakes her head at those thoughts, wondering why she even had those thoughts in her head.
Mikan and Sachi see the principal was signing new documents as he looks up to hear someone knocking on the wooden door.
"Come in," said the principal.
Mikan and Sachi entered his office which Mikan was nervous around him.
"Oh, hello girls, how can I help you?" Asked the Principal.
"H-H-Hello… My name is Mikan Yuusaki, and I am here to enroll. Please," Mikan tells him the truth, but she is nervous around him.
"Ah, yes, you're our newest student. But I could have sworn your parents already enrolled you," said the principal.
"No, they haven't," Mikan responds to him.
"Let me check," said the principal and checks through the papers, and sees that her parents did indeed sign the necessary paperwork, "Ah, yes, here we are. As you can see, your parents already signed the necessary paperwork," said the principal, showing Mikan her parents' signature.
Mikan was surprised by this, but she calmed down since she did not want to jump to conclusions. Besides, she does not want someone to ask her about her parents.
"I... I see. But I have not been given my schedule," said Mikan.
"Oh, that's right, and here you go. Please enjoy and do not be scared to ask me any questions you have," said the principal with a comfortable voice as Mikan nodded at him.
"Thank you," said Mikan as she bowed to him.
The principal nods at Mikan as she leaves with Sachi. She took her right hand with her left hand as they went to their first period together since they have the same class together.
"Well, that wasn't so bad," said Sachi to Mikan.
"Yes, and I'm very sorry for dragging you in the office," Mikan responds to her.
"It's okay. I can understand that it can be scary for first timers, no it is not a big deal. I'm sure you'll fit in like the rest of us in no time," said Sachi.
Mikan and Sachi continue their walk towards the first period of the classroom, "Let's just say I don't trust strangers at first or large groups of people." Mikan speaks back to Sachi with a soft voice and expression.
"That's understandable," said Sachi.
Mikan does something surprising to Sachi, which she kisses her right cheek as thank you for everything.
"Wh... What was that for?" Asked Sachi blushing while holding her cheek.
"It's thanked you for helping me," Mikan says it with blushing red too as she could not believe she kissed a girl's cheek, but something about Sachi was making Mikan feel safe.
"Oh... Um... You're welcome," blushed Sachi.
Mikan and Sachi were blushing deeply now since they could feel their hearts were beating fast now. "So, shall we go to class now?" Mikan asks her since she did not want to make them late for the first day of school.
"Y-Yes, let's," said Sachi while still blushing.
Today marks the day that Mikan went to school, and she made a new friend today as she wanted to be friends with anybody.
