Okay, so I found myself with this idea just sitting on my brain, and it has been eating away at my imagination.

Team 7 was on their first C-rank mission, Kakashi started to take it a bit more seriously after their run in with the demon brothers.
Kakashi was cut from his musings and book when he noticed a rather strange sight.
Down the road was something rather interesting, instead of a puddle when it hadn't rain in a while, there was an unconscious teenager.
Naruto looked ready to rush forward and fight, eager to make up for his previous mistakes. Kakashi put his hand on his shoulder.
"It is possible that he is another enemy, but I also smell some pretty strong alcohol, so he might also just be a drunk that collapsed before setting up camp."
Naruto shrugged as he watched Kakashi step forward to check the unconscious man himself.
Sakura and Sasuke just scoff at Naruto, Sasuke mumbling about him only being able to fight an unconscious opponent. Tazuna just stood slightly further back, still a little shook up from the previous encounter.
As Kakashi approached, he took notice of about six scrolls lying around him. Before squatting down and almost flopping backwards onto his rear when he rolled the boy over and got a good look at him.
It was a blond with a Konoha headband, long black band. He was just wearing a black t-shirt and had on a pair of black shinobi pants that had orange spirals on the knees, a common indicator of some armor sewn in, and orange stripes running down the sides right into a pair of black ninja sandals. Upon closer inspection of the boy, he looked more closer to twenty, rather than teenage years.
He was a bit short though.
However, the three whisker marks marring both cheeks were an indicator of his identity. The alcohol smell was clearly from the bottle of Fire Toad Whiskey that was just sitting next to him, still half full.
The clincher however, was when the boy scratched his belly, revealing the shiki-fuin that housed a certain fox demon.
Kakashi shook the boy awake and was greeted to a rather surprising response.
"Hey Kakashi-sensei, what you up to? Get tired of sitting at your desk already? So drunk you gotta come fetch your favorite bored?"
Kakashi sighed, realizing the boy was still drunk from whatever it was he was doing before. Picking up a couple of the scrolls, he found sealing formulas.
Sealing formulas so advanced and complexed, he was sure Jiraiya would have difficulties deciphering them.
And these were in the hands of a drunk Naruto.
Kakashi gathered up the sealing supplies, and even distracted Naruto with the alcohol when he tried to get them back.
"You can have these back when you are sober."
Naruto cried out in outrage. "I will have you know, I am not sober. I am as drunk as the day I was born."
It took Kakashi a second to realize what the boy just said.
His team however, just stood in shock over what they were seeing.
Tazuna stepped forward as he helped the boy stand, and even pulled his arm over his shoulder.
"Come on my boy, I will help you walk it off a bit. And when we reach my place, my daughter, Tsunami, can whip up a hangover cure for you."
Kakashi stared at Tazuna. "Where did this come from?"
Tazuna only gave Kakashi a hard look. "No drunk left behind."
Kakashi wanted with all his heart, to see this as a good thing. But he didn't like where all the evidence pointed for his blond student. Speaking of which, his students now had questions about what was going on with everything.
"Don't worry guys, I believe our new secondary client thanks to Tazuna bringing him along, is actually Naruto from the future."
Kakashi's only response from his students were deadpanned stares. Naruto decided to defend himself.
"Are you telling me you believe I would become a drunk?"
Kakashi rolled his eye at his student. "You don't have to be a drunk to get drunk. Just having a drink with the guys can turn into one hell of a night out that you all regret and will be forever grateful you can't remember."
Naruto smirked. "Speaking from experience?"
Kakashi shuddered and shed a tear as he nodded. "As I said, I don't want to talk about it."
Kakashi had a thousand-yard stare as he thought back to that night with Gai and Asuma. They still never found out what was with all the rubber chickens, pineapples, and the horse. Or how or why they were found with them all in the water tower.
The three genin stared at their sensei with concern when they saw the look he gained. Sakura turned to her two teammates. "I think we should just drop the subject."
As they caught up to the two drunks, Naruto was the one to start speaking up.
"So, how is this guy me from the future? I don't see the resemblance; he isn't even wearing any orange. I mean, I wouldn't just give up on my favorite color."
His team looked at him as if he was an idiot, before the drunk blond spoke up.
"You are me from the past? Why are you in the present then? Shouldn't you be past this?"
Sakura and Sasuke honestly found drunk Naruto to be rather fun to listen to, while Naruto himself just grumbled as he tried to think over what his supposed older self said. Kakashi sighed as he spoke up.
"Trust me Naruto, after looking at the evidence he has, I can honestly say that he is you."
Kakashi tried to be as subtle as he could when he was indicating Naruto's stomach behind his teammate's backs.
Naruto still nearly missed what he was implying. Tazuna and the older blond were just chuckling over several things, even talking about Tazuna's family. Which kind of gave more evidence to Kakashi's deduction about him being from the future.
Naruto began to feel a bit depressed as his 'older self' continued to talk and bond with Tazuna over their drunken escapades. Beginning to believe he was a drunk in the future.
The only thing that was weird, was when Tazuna and the ferryman both said, 'No drunk left behind' in a similar manner to when Tazuna found the older Naruto.
Kakashi did his best to take the whiskey from Naruto, only to stare in shock when his hand just went through it, as if the bottle wasn't even there.
Kakashi grew a little disappointed in his team as they listened to F-Naruto's drunk rambling.
His most common thing to do was to swap words around, which almost got Sasuke to laugh when he did it to Sakura and Naruto. Saying Sakura had a Sasuke on crush, or Naruto would be day one Hokage.
Kakashi would feel disappointed, if Sasuke wasn't keeping quiet to avoid having his words flipped around on him.
Tazuna had been in a slightly higher mood since he started to bond with the blond from the future, and because of that, he wound up joining F-Naruto in teasing his students.
And running further ahead to avoid any repercussions to said teasing.
Which left them open to attack when Kakashi yelled to get down and tackled his students flat to the ground.
As a giant weapon goes spinning over their heads, team seven watched in horror as their client(s) stood in shock as Tazuna watched what looked to be a giant spinning blade come straight for him.
And slip right through as it wound up stuck in a tree.
Tazuna looked to have watched his life flash before his eyes as he felt around his stomach for any wound. Kakashi and his students all stared in shock at the two not being harmed, as who Kakashi knew to be Zabuza walked from the woods and poked Tazuna in the shoulder.
"How the fuck did you do that?"
F-Naruto turned to look at the mercenary, before immediately brightening up and jumping forward to give the man a hug.
"Zaby bro! How is it going? Is little Haki around anywhere?" Naruto took a moment to shift his eyes around a bit, before holding his hand next to his mouth and 'whispering' to Zabuza. "Hey, did you know that Haku is a boy? I just wanna make sure you know, because you buy him awfully girly clothing."
Zabuza's eye twitched a bit as he placed a hand on the blonde's face and shoved him off. Kakashi and his team stood up and brushed the dirt off themselves as they watched the encounter between the two, Tazuna having 'snuck' over to them.
Zabuza looked to Kakashi. "Who is this idiot, why is he drunk, and how does he know so much about me?"
Kakashi just shrugged. "I believe he is from the future, though my students somewhat doubt me. I guess the 'Demon of the Bloody Mist' is nicer than everyone thinks, if Naruto there is any indication. So, who is Haku? Is he someone we should know about?"
Naruto giggled as Zabuza glared and growled at the Konoha nin. "I have no clue who you are even talking about."
"What!? Are you telling me you don't son your own remember?"
Zabuza just looked at the blond as he laid on the ground but posed as if he was still standing. Not even registering the fact he was laying down.
Zabuza swore he heard his 'hidden' ally snicker over the boy's antics. So, he ignored the boy as he retrieved the Executioner's Blade.
As Zabuza turned around, F-Naruto was standing up again. "I have no need to deal with the likes of you, so get out of my way."
Naruto just laughed as he stumbled about. Zabuza, having grown tired of the lunacy before him, swung his sword to slice the drunk blond in half.
And the sword went right through him as if he wasn't even there. Zabuza and Kakashi both did see something though.
Zabuza began to rapidly swing his sword at Naruto from every direction, swinging it faster than any blade that size had any right to move.
Each slice was met with the same reaction however, but it did allow both Zabuza and Kakashi to notice that the blond would shift into a golden light to avoid damage.
They also noticed that with each slash, Naruto became more sober.
"What is going on? Last thing I remember was celebrating with Sasuke. We were having drinks, whiskey from the toads, and we talked about warping space and time."
Sasuke was the only visible person that looked slightly disappointed when they noticed him sobering up. Naruto disappeared in a golden flash as he appeared next to Kakashi.
Confirming what the two had been thinking. Kakashi turned to his 'future' student. "Was that the hiraishin?"
Naruto merely nodded as he looked around himself. "How drunk does a guy haft to get, to create time travel?"
All he got were shrugs. "Well, I regret a lot of things from last night." With a snap of his fingers, all the scrolls Kakashi had taken, were suddenly falling into his hands from a golden flash.
Kakashi stared at the boy in slight shock. "How much of that technique have you mastered?"
Naruto just shrugged. "I can use it without the seal on myself, but I need to place the seal on anything, or anyone I want to use it on. The seal I placed on myself is a bit of a special formula, because it taps into my Jinchuriki skill of empathy. Every action that has negative intent, such as to harm me, will accelerate my molecules to a speed that will allow the blow to go right through me."
Kakashi and Zabuza, being the only ones that understood the full extent of that claim, stared in shock over the news. Sasuke just caught enough to realize how useful the skill was, while mentally taking notice of select keywords that his future teammate used. Sakura's thoughts reflected both her hard earned intellect, as well as her fangirl mindset, with thinking Sasuke would have looked cooler doing it.
Naruto, however. "What good is a technique that allows you to run away?"
Kakashi just sighed in exasperation while Zabuza and F-Naruto just shook their heads over the clearly uneducated response.
Sakura was the one to respond verbally. "Baka, if the enemy can't hit you, they can't kill you. And since he can control when he becomes unhittable, he can strike at them when they are left open to an attack from you."
Naruto just crossed his arms and pouted. "But if he could just use a technique to beat your opponent before they can even get a hit in, what is the point of needing to dodge? You won't need to dodge if the enemy is beat before they can get you."
Kakashi was about to put a stop to the both of them, getting nervous that Zabuza wasn't doing anything but listening to the conversation, when F-Naruto spoke up.
"Actually, I really only created it recently. I might not look it, but I am actually nearly twenty-four years old. That's why I was drunk. I found out that I was gonna have a kid, and Sasuke was in town, so we decided to have a drink to celebrate the two of us being fathers. When he told me he found out he got his wife pregnant. The seal I created while drunk that threw me back in time, must have distorted my physical form. Or the time stream is trying to correct itself by distorting me to non-existence."
Everyone just stared at the boy, surprised that he sounded more okay with the second outcome than he should be.
Zabuza stepped back. "Well, if you know the fourth hokage's technique to that extent, I don't feel very confident in my chances at victory."
Kakashi actually understood where the man was coming from. F-Naruto beat him to a response however.
"If you want my opinion on what you should do, you should act accordingly with Gatoh, and when the short shit betrays you on the bridge in about a week or so, kill him and come talk with the hokage about helping out with the hidden mist's issues."
Zabuza just stared at the boy, before just giving up on the whole bloody issue and giving a shout to Haku for a retreat. Kakashi swore he heard someone mentioning the nickname Zaby as he watched them leave.
Tazuna and team seven just stared at F-Naruto while he shrugged and continued walking towards Tazuna's place.
They were just left to sigh and move on. Each of them trying to make sense of the clusterfuck that was that confrontation between the Future Drunk, and the Demon of the Bloody Mist.
Sasuke scoffed. "So, are all the future fights we get into gonna be solved by Naruto getting drunk and baffling our enemies before scaring them away with some trick he pulls out of his ass?"
Kakashi was about to reprimand the boy, before he just 'hmm'ed and looked at F-Naruto's back. "I don't know, we will have to just talk with him and find out. With what we have seen so far, it wouldn't be too far fetched to think along those lines."
Sasuke just glared at his teacher. "I wasn't serious."
Kakashi just shrugged, before pulling out his book and continuing to read.

The past week or so had gone as smoothly as everyone would expect. Nothing really happened, other than the genin learning tree-walking.
Other than that, Kakashi had taken notice of F-Naruto helping out Tazuna's daughter, Tsunami, out in the kitchen.
Apparently, Naruto learns to cook and has enjoyed doing so with his wife, who he refuses to divulge the identity of, along with the spouses of his two teammates.
He didn't want to spoil their futures more than he already has or is going to.
Kakashi did however realize that F-Naruto had accepted his eventual demise. Saying he had a 'fuzzy' 'wink' feeling that he would be swallowed by the flow of time in the coming future.
Something no one noticed, was that F-Naruto wound up helping Tsunami out with more than just cooking. Though Kakashi had his suspicions when he noticed Tsunami's glow during two of the mornings throughout the week.
Oh well, they were two consenting adults.
F-Naruto had said he would show up at the bridge later, as Kakashi took his students to guard Tazuna. Kakashi was actually rather thankful for the future blond, since he could explain and impart his wisdom to all three at once instead of repeating himself multiple times.
They got to learn more that way, making this a more productive mission.
Zabuza had popped up on several occasions, mostly to get info from Kakashi and F-Naruto about what was going on. Kakashi had sent a message to the Hokage about F-Naruto's idea and was able to give Zabuza a reply.
It had confirmed that Haku was safe to take refuge there, due to his lack of shinobi record. They would give him a test for rank if he chose to become a shinobi there after his probation period.
Zabuza would be a little trickier due to his history, but after a couple of sessions with a Inoichi, and a longer probation period than Haku, he could be welcomed into the ranks eventually.
Today was the day marked by F-Naruto, as the final day for Gato to react.
And things went south rather quickly.
Gato did indeed show up, but he showed up with two men in black cloaks, decorated with red clouds.
One was a white haired Yugakure missing nin, and the other, a masked Takigakure missing nin.
Both were recognized from the bingo book as Hidan and Kakuzu.
Gato was starting to give a speech, all about how he was disappointed in the 'Demon' for being tamed by a bunch of tree huggers. Talking about how he mentioned to the two beside him about Zabuza and Kakashi, and they decided to come help him at a slight discount, due to the two having a rather nice bounty on their heads.
Kakuzu and Hidan just ignored the man and his army, as they walked towards their opponents, who both appeared to become nervous before grumbling about how different things have come about.
Zabuza blamed F-Naruto, while Kakashi defended his student and mentioned that he couldn't have accounted for how Gato would react to Zabuza ditching him.
Both were saved from the incoming fight however, when two corpses dropped in front of them.
They were obviously some of Gato's wannabe samurai.
F-Naruto walked past the two. "Don't fret guys, I can handle these two."
Kakashi and Zabuza both, while slightly relieved at the appearance of the young man, also felt slightly insulted at his dismissal of them.
F-Naruto chuckled. "I have kept track of everything going on and have even taken notice of everything you all have done. I however never expected that the Akatsuki would answer the call of this dirt bag."
Hidan just chuckled as Kakuzu responded. "Akatsuki will take what jobs we want. The discount was because we can cash in on the bounty on the two behind you. We also wouldn't say no to snagging the nine-tail's jinchuriki while we're here."
Kakashi glared at the two as he moved in front of the younger Naruto, who looked slightly scared.
Sakura, Sasuke, and Tazuna each looked confused, while Zabuza and Haku looked at Naruto in shock.
Hidan laughed at their responses as he rushed forward. "Enough with the chit chat, Jashin-sama demands blood."
Hidan was kicked back as he almost struck Kakuzu, who just stepped out of his way. And stared at the one responsible.

Naruto stared back, showing no fear.
Kakuzu was about to get into his own stance, when Hidan jumped over him, shouting about blond bastards.
Naruto made dodging around Hidan's three bladed scythe look easy. Hidan would bring it down and Naruto stepped to his right, where he would then smack Hidan's collapsible spike away with his right hand, before having to use his left to catch the kick, before Hidan and Kakuzu both got a surprise when Naruto disappeared in a flash of gold.
Hidan wasn't given a chance to react before he found himself falling, both towards the right, and left.
Naruto standing behind him. His right arm coated in the wind element, similar to Kakashi's raikiri.
"You lack self-preservation. That leaves you open to simply being taken out till your partner can aid you."
"Shut the fuck up bastard. When I pull myself together, you will be begging for Jashin-sama's mercy."
Naruto just rolled his eyes. "Kakashi, Zabuza, you guys mind doing something to shut this shit up? Dicing him to pieces might help in all honesty. Just don't let him get any of your blood."
Kakuzu narrowed his eyes. "How do you know so much about us?"
Naruto laughed. "If you're digging for info, I would hate to disappoint you. But you're not going to get out of here alive. Zetsu isn't coming to save you, what with the barrier I set up during the dumbass' speech. There is no way for any creature to sneak into the area."
Kakuzu stared in shock over what was just revealed. Apparently, Konoha had such in-depth knowledge on the Akatsuki, this blond knew about their spy, and even how to block him from doing said job.
This blond couldn't be left alive.
Kakuzu threw his cloak off as his masks jumped from his back. Leaving Naruto to face himself, and four giant thread beasts.
Zabuza was still slashing at Hidan's body, trying to get the bastard to shut up. He was sliced so much; you could send the bastard off in a shoebox.
And yet somehow, he still wouldn't shut up about his fucking god.
During one of Zabuza's resting periods, he was distracted by the younger Naruto tapping his shoulder.
Turning to the brat, he was surprised to see several boxes, filled with what appeared to be a gray powder.
"I always bring along some pranking supplies. This is quick drying cement. I had wanted to prank Sasuke at some point but thought better when this mission took a serious turn."
Zabuza went and took several small-ish boxes from Tazuna's supply shed and gathered chunks of the swearing and threatening nuke-nin, before using the rubber cement to shut the bastard up for good.
Now, Hidan was in four boxes, each filled with cement. Zabuza happily threw the four boxes in different directions out to the sea and chuckled as each sunk to the bottom.
Zabuza stood there for a second, when he thought of something.
"What would you use cement for in a harmless prank?"
Naruto just smiled as he walked over to his team, each of them looking slightly freaked out over what they just heard.
Kakuzu was slightly annoyed after seeing what happened to his teammate. His skin turned grey as he rushed towards Naruto, his thread beasts not far behind him.
Naruto dismissed the wind from his right arm and opened his mouth and released a roar. His roar however, was coated in lightning.
Kakuzu jumped upwards to dodge the attack, as the wind mask moved forward to roar right back.
Naruto was now in a deadlock with a thread beast, before the element in his roar suddenly switched to fire and engulfed the beast and about seventy percent of the bandit army that were on that side of the bridge.
Naruto was gonna have to help repair the bridge when this was over.
One heart down, four to go.
Kakuzu glared as he felt the disconnect from his wind heart. Spinning forward as he came down, using his earth chakra to increase his strength and the wight of his leg.
Kakuzu had planned to crush him, and if the blond survived or caught his leg, the bridge would still break. His lightning heart would then be able to electrocute the water beneath the bridge and finish the fight.
The fire and water hearts were coming from the left and right, while the lightning heart stood back slightly, but prepared to spring forward quickly.
Naruto closed his eyes, and just as Kakuzu was about to land his kick, snapped them open to reveal his yellow toad eyes, before grabbing Kakuzu's leg with his left hand, immediately creating a raikiri that stabbed straight through his shin.
Naruto immediately reached behind him with his right hand to catch the foot that he just cut off, causing seals to spread about it as he quickly threw it at the blue masked thread beast.
Kakuzu barely had time to grunt as he had the lightning thread beast grab him and pull him backwards.
He was however, too late to force his two thread beasts to retreat, which cost him his water heart. When the water thread beast received the foot to the mask, the seals transferred over, and the heart was electrocuted to the point of explosion.
Kakuzu was beginning to sweat now.
Senjutsu as well as the capability to harness and use two elemental techniques without hand seals. Along with what appeared to be extensive knowledge of the sealing arts.
This was an opponent he couldn't handle.
Kakuzu had his remaining two thread beasts connect with one another as they rushed in, both releasing a large blast of their elements, in a combined blast of fire and lightning, aimed in a way that if Naruto didn't stop it, he would lose his team and the bridge builder.
Before Kakuzu had the chance to flee, he was caught off guard once more when Naruto launched himself over the technique, with wood-style.
Naruto had stomped on the ground, which caused a wall of wood to rise up and defend those behind him, while also launching him over the attack and at Kakuzu himself.
"Fuck you, you broken asshole."
Naruto laughed as he came down with a drop kick, covered in lightning. Kakuzu raised his arms to block the attack as the twin thread beast turned around to make an attempt to aid their main body.
The thread beast was foiled however, when two large water dragons burst from the sides of the bridge and smashed into them, slamming them against the wooden wall.
Kakuzu was caught off guard, having not seen something like this coming. He watched in complete disinterest as Naruto's leg came down and sliced through his arms, feeling as his fire heart gave out from the combined efforts of two water dragons from the two A-rank threats he dismissed earlier.
Kakuzu tried to dodge by jumping back, only to prove pointless as the lightning extended into a longer 'blade' and continue to bifurcate him. Kakuzu felt through his lightning heart, as Naruto proceeded to turn around and launch a powerful wind technique, his last heart feeling the cutting winds as they sliced into him.
Naruto looked to his two teammates as he came forward with his hands held high and expecting high fives. Only to be left hanging when the two walked past him and proceeded to execute what remained of the bandit army, and a begging Gato.
None were able to escape with the ship they used to get here being taken out by a stray attack.
They would admit that their skill set was not able to deal with Kakuzu, and either, or even both would have struggled heavily. They would however, been able to handle Hidan. Either of them, and easily if they worked together.
Instead, they were doing clean-up, which was usually reserved for chunin, or genin in their current party.
Kakashi however would prefer to let his three kids keep their innocence for a little longer, while Haku was a pacifist, and Zabuza had some anger to work through.
Hidan gave him a headache.
And so, after the clean-up was dealt with. Everyone took the day off, and F-Naruto went about fixing the damage he caused to the bridge, and even providing some materials to replace what he broke.
He had to also explain that the act of combining two elements into one wasn't a bloodline.
Combining the two elements together only became a bloodline when it came naturally, such as Haku's ice, or the First's wood. He also used Sakura's earth element and Y-Naruto's wind element, as his example.
That being if Sakura had a much stronger connection to her element, her and Naruto's children could be born with an affinity for sand. And in order to calm Sakura down, he had to mention that her and Sasuke's child could develop a crystal or magma affinity, with Sasuke having an affinity to both fire and lightning.
Sasuke smirked at the mentioning of two affinities. Before F-Naruto burst his bubble and mentioned his lightning affinity would be gained later if he followed his future self's path and fostered it after gaining a technique of that element.
Didn't mention the technique he would gain, but Kakashi had an idea what he was implying.
Affinities could be trained, but no one really tried to train to combine them due to it being too hard and, in some cases, too deadly to find the proper balance between the two chosen elements.
Naruto refused to mention what all he had a mastery over. Though because he mentioned his younger self's wind affinity, they guessed that he had that.
The rest of the time in Wave rounded down to the six shinobi walking across the bridge, towards Konoha as the townsfolk decided what to name the bridge.
It wasn't long before they all agreed on the name, The Great Naruto Bridge. Named after the drunk that came from the future to save them in their time of need.
Well, they all thought it was a good idea. The guy also helped them get some very strong wood, and they even had a couple logs of it left over. Even some of the metals the boy created for them.
Now they were all off to ransack Gato's mansion and take back what the fat bastard stole from them.

Alright, as I stated before, I just wanted to get this out here so that I could imagine up new scenarios for my other fictions.
Hopefully I stop thinking up this story and can turn my head back towards my other works. Though I might end up throwing up chapter two of this, due to that being where I have this story planned to so far. That being the month-long break of the chunin exams, Naruto vs. Neji, and the sand/sound invasion.
Those three events, and the beginning of this chapter, were the parts I couldn't get out of my head.
As my fans from some of my other stories may know, I have a pat re on, I recently started it up recently, and while it will be mostly just a general support me so I can become less stressed and focus on my writing, I will be bouncing ideas off those that join me over there.
I figured it would be easier than just expecting you all to read every single one of my stories just to catch a hint at what I'm doing next.
When I actually have some people joining me there, I will be making more posts there, and asking for more opinions. But until then, I just gotta hope enough people read my random story update to catch my plans.
Speaking of the start of this chapter, I myself have never been drunk, but I am curious.
