Honor Among Thieves part 3

Shortly after escaping from Flynn and Zarkon's mercenary forces back in Borneo, thanks to Axca's and Shiro's help, Haggar, Katie and Ezor had caught the earliest flight to Nepal; where they drove casually down the war torn streets in a broken down Jeep and glanced sadly...as they silently/somberly witnessed several civilians sobbing whilst dragging the bullet ridden corpses of the local resistance fighters, whom were no doubtingly killed whilst fighting off Zarkon and his highly trained soldiers.

As they continued to drive down the street, Katie started off softly. "So...Ezor. You wanna fill me and Haggar in about what we saw back in Borneo?"

Ezor asked casually with a playful smirk on her face. "Oh, you mean that kiss between me and Acxa?"

Haggar countered sarcastically. "No Ezor, Katie's talking about us trash talking to each other as we make our way to Zarkon's main campsite. Yes, she's talking about that kiss between you and Acxa!"

Ezor stated bluntly while rolling her eyes. "Acxa and I are together."

Katie asked softly while wanting confirmation. "You mean...like how Haggar and Allura are together?"

Ezor answered with a soft nod while confirming her romantic relationship with the British/Indian Galran/Altean treasure hunter. "Yeah...just like Haggar and Allura."

Haggar asked while attempting to keep her anger in check. "You're telling us...that you and Acxa are girlfriends?"

Ezor replied while shrugging her shoulders. "Yeah. We got together right before the...museum job…by having very lustful and passionate sex."

Although...before Ezor could reveal the details about how she and Acxa made love for the first time, that was the exact moment when a small group of Zarkon's mercenaries driving a heavily armored truck had suddenly appeared and immediately attempted to run them over!

"Fuck! They already found us." Haggar said with anger.

"Can we lose 'em?" Ezor asked.

"I think it might be a little late for that!" Katie answered before the truck rammed into their jeep and caused them to crash!

Shortly after surviving the car crash and defeating the mercenaries who came running to investigate the crash, Haggar, Ezor and Katie had fought their way through the war torn city streets while climbing up the sides of the building to get past the wrecked vehicles and destroyed buildings blocking their way.

After they had climbed through the destroyed roof of an apartment building, Haggar, Ezor and Katie immediately got into a heated firefight with a small army of Zarkon's mercenaries who were guarding a different section of the city and provided them a more decent challenge; due to them sliding behind cover and using metal riot shields to protect themselves from being shot.

As Ezor and Katie dealt with the other soldiers, Haggar got behind the ones with the shields and used her AK-47 to shoot them from behind until they were all dead. "Decent enough challenge, but you guys are still fucking dumb in other categories." Haggar said with a smirk.

"Damn right." Katie said while she and her fellow sisters took what was left of the soldiers' ammo and grenades.

"And isn't so ironic that their weapons only help us out when their owners are fuckin' dead?" Ezor asked with humor.

However, that was the exact moment when reinforcements had arrived in the form of another armored truck outfitted with a heavy mounted machine gun that immediately opened fire on the three treasure hunters, whom took cover behind the remains of several destroyed cars!

"Fuck! How the hell are we gonna deal with that?!" Ezor asked.

"Not sure! Who knows how many bullets they got in that thing!" Katie answered.

"At this rate, we can't even throw the damn grenades because of its armor and those rounds are gonna tear right through these cars in minutes!" Haggar added after her sisters.

But fortunately for Haggar, Katie and Ezor...the truck was soon destroyed by an RPG-7 warhead that zoomed right past them and they instinctively turned around to none other than, Shiro and Axca, standing on the roof of a different wrecked car with an RPG-7 in her hands before discarding it as the three sisters approached them...and where she leaped into Ezor's arms and they locked lips in a sweeting tender kiss.

Katie stated softly. "Shiro, Axca."

Shiro asked. "Are you ladies alright?"

Haggar answered casually. "We are now, thanks to you guys. You and Acxa have impeccable timing."

Shortly after Acxa and Ezor pulled away to breathe, the Altean/Galran hybrid treasure hunter asked. "Do you guys still have the map and key?"

Haggar answered while taking out the Phurba, which she carried in a strap attached to her belt. "Got it right here."

Shiro asked while crossing his arms against his chest. "So this...is supposed to be the key that'll lead the way to Shambala?"

Katie answered. "That's right. This Phurba was Marco Polo's 'passport' to get there." Acxa stated softly. "Well, that's great and all...but what do we do with it? I mean, how's it supposed to lead us to Shambala anyway?"

Haggar answered truthfully while turning to Katie and Ezor, who awkwardly massaged the back of their heads/necks. "Well...we haven't exactly figured that out. Yet...anyway. What Ezor, Katie and I know for sure is that Zarkon won't get far without it."

Shiro stated somberly. "Yeah, well...that's not going to stop Zarkon though. He and Flynn have practically destroyed dozens of temples throughout the city looking for the right one."

While listening to Shiro and Axca talking to Katie and Ezor, Haggar had carefully examined the Phurba and chuckled softly, which earned her friends attention. "Oh...you guys are not going to believe this."

Katie asked. "What is it, Haggar?"

The full blooded Altean treasure hunter answered while pointing to a symbol that was etched into the Phurba. "Do you guys see this symbol right here?"

Ezor stated while examining the Phurba herself. "It looks like a fragment of the Cintamani Stone. Is it supposed to mean something?"

Haggar answered while gesturing to the archway above them. "Now take a look at that symbol right there."

Shiro muttered softly. "Son of a bitch...it's the same symbol."

Haggar replied. "And if I had to guess...that's how Marco Polo found his next clue. The temple we're looking for will be marked with this exact symbol."

Acxa stated while pointing out a minor problem. "Okay, so we know what we're looking for...but how are we going to find this temple? There's practically hundreds of temples throughout this whole city!"

Haggar stated with a casual smirk on her face. "But if we could get to a higher vantage point..."

Shiro stated with a similar smirk on his face as he immediately understood what Haggar was getting at. "We'd be able to spot the temple easily."

Acxa stated casually while trading a flirting smirk with Ezor. "Well, there is a hotel not too far from here..."

Ezor stated with a bright smile as she had detected the seductive nature in her girlfriend/lover's voice. "Acxa, as tempting as that sounds, now is not really the time."

Acxa replied. "That has the tallest vantage point of the entire city."

Shortly after putting the Phurba back into the sheath on her belt, Haggar and her friends had fought their way across the city to the hotel; where they got into a heated gun battle with a huge squad on Zarkon's mercenaries...whom stared and glared angrily after seeing Shiro and Axca with the three sisters and immediately realized that they were traitors.

"Looks like we're both only on 1 side now, little brother." Acxa said as she shot one of the soldiers in the head.

"Don't count on that yet, Acxa!" Shrio said while shooting 2 more of the soldiers dead.

Once all of Zarkon's mercenaries were defeated, Haggar and her group had climbed their way into the hotel...and ended up being stuck in the elevator, due to the generator dying out on them. "Well, that's just fucking great. How are we supposed to get out?" Katie asked with frustration.

Relax, Katie." Haggar assured her little fellow sister. "Me and Ezor will get to the generator and restore the power. Just chill out with Shiro and Acxa for a bit.

"No way!" Katie said, not wanting to be left alone with Acxa and Shiro again after being alone with them for 3 months while Haggar and Ezor were in prison. "Don't leave me with these guys!"

Haggar and Ezor rubbed Katie's hair before going out through the doors before the elevator went down. "Have fun with Katie, Acxa!" Ezor called out.

"I'M GONNA GET YOU BOTH FOR THIS!" Katie yelled out.

"Just be sure that your sister doesn't smoke in there, Shiro! Because if she does, especially around Katie, it's hers and your asses!" Haggar warned before seeing the manual breaker. "Great. Circuit breaker's on the top floor."

"Let's just get there quickly, preferably before Acxa has to smoke around Katie." Ezor said before they quickly made their way to the top floor, swinging through the flagpoles and climbing through the ledges while also killing some more of Zarkon's soldiers along the way until they eventually found the circuit breaker. "Found it. Hopefully before Acxa decides she needs her next cigarette."

"Oh, she better not have." Haggar said before restoring power to the elevator and climbing up the ladder with Ezor before getting to the elevator, which opened before Shiro, Acxa and Katie joined them, with Haggar not seeing any cigarette on the floor of the elevator car. "Not 1 of those disgusting things on the floor, so I guess you don't get your ass kicked this time, Acxa."

"Oh, please, Haggar, I promised Ezor I'd never smoke around her or Katie and especially not around you." Acxa said with annoyance. "And frankly, I don't know why you despise smoking with such a passion anyway, besides the obvious non-healthy reasons. Maybe if you'd just tell me, I'd understand why."

"That's none of your damn business, Acxa. At least until I know I can fully trust you and your brother." Haggar told her.

"Come on, Haggar, we saved your life, and Ezor's and Katie's lives. And to top it off, my sister's dating…and fucking Ezor, romantically. Isn't that enough for you?" Shrio asked.

"I trust you and your sister to an extent, but I won't fully trust you both until I know for sure if you're both fully with us or Zarkon and that asshole Flynn are fuckin' dead and buried in the ground and you 2 are done playing both sides and prove you're both loyal to us, especially Ezor." Haggar told them. "Until then, keep working on earning my complete respect, trust and loyalty."

Ezor assured them both. "Don't worry, guys, it's just how she is. She'll come around…eventually."

"And she'll like you even more, Acxa, if you decide to quit smoking." Katie whispered.

"Well, ever since Ezor and I fucked at her hotel room, I've been considering it. Who knows, I may toss away my cigarettes and lighter when this is over, to show an act of loyalty to Haggar." Acxa said with a smile.

"We'll look forward to that." Ezor said, kissing Acxa on the cheek.

"Me too, baby." Acxa said with a blush.

They then worked their way to the roof of the hotel...which coincidentally had a swimming pool and gave Ezor a rather playful/naughty idea. As Haggar, Katie and Shiro glanced through binoculars from different sides of the roof, Ezor stated with a casual smirk as she and Acxa admired the pool. "Hey...Axca, do you see that glint in the pool?"

Acxa asked with a puzzled look on her face. "What glint?"

Ezor answered while pointing towards the pool. "I thought I saw a gold object giving off a reflection in the pool right there."

Acxa answered while looking in the direction her lover was pointing at. "I don't see anything."

Ezor replied with a soft grin on her face as she secretly checked out her lover's hot ass before giving it a playful slap and pushing her into the pool. "Aw, too bad."

After the initial slap and shove, Ezor dove into the pool as well and smiled softly at the amused look that Acxa gave her before they looked lips in an innocent kiss and swiftly pulled away, due to Shiro, Haggar and Katie chuckling and shaking their heads in amusement as they witnessed everything.

Shortly after locating the temple that had the Cintamani Stone symbol, both Shiro and Acza silently turned to each other with shocked/distraught expressions on their faces. "Oohh shit." They both said together.

Katie noticed and softly asked. "Shiro? Acxa, what's wrong?"

Shiro answered softly for his half sister, which deeply shocked the young brunette and her friends/sisters. "Katie, that temple is directly near Zarkon's main campsite! Acxa and I were hoping that the temple we were looking for would be in a different direction."

Haggar stated softly while drawing out her handgun and pulling back the slide. "Well, unfortunately Shiro...that's the direction we need to go."

Before Axca or Shiro could do anything, they had their radio's coming online and a Galran mercenary calling out. "Attention all nearby aerial units in the area: Drake and her friends have been spotted in Sector 18."

Ezor stated softly with a deeply saddened expression on her face, along with Katie and Haggar. "Acxa, baby? Please tell me that this is Sector 19?"

Acxa stated softly with an equally saddened expression on her own and Shiro's face. "I wish I could tell you that love...but it's not."

Shortly after the words left her mouth...that was when a heavily armored Galran attack helicopter appeared and began shooting at them! "OH SHIT!" They all yelled out together before they began running to avoid the chopper's fire.

After eventually destroying the Galran helicopter with a grenade launcher, whilst battling Zarkon's Galran mercenaries through the rooftops, Haggar and her group had rode a zip line down to the area where the helicopter crashed and as soon as they reached the crash site, Ezor, Katie and more importantly Haggar, stared in deep shock...as they spotted none other than Allura and her a human cameraman, Hunk, whom had arrived to investigate the crash and huge explosion.

Haggar asked with a deeply stunned look on her face whilst lowering her gun, "Allura?"

Allura asked with an equally stunned expression after seeing her lover now in Nepal. "Haggar?"

However, before the two lovers could even embrace each other...Hunk had yelled as he stupidly attempted to tackle the Altean treasure hunter, only for Haggar to side step at the last second and tripped Hunk; causing him to lose his footing and fall flat face on the ground with Ezor aiming her gun right at him and stating. "Try that again...please."

Allura stated while crying out. "No, Ezor, stop! He's with me."

As soon as Ezor had softly lowered her weapon, she and Katie couldn't help but smile as Haggar and Allura instinctually embraced each other and locked lips in a deep passionate kiss...while Hunk stared with his mouth open after seeing his assigned partner kissing another woman!

Once they pulled away to breath, Haggar stated softly. "Hey, baby."

Allura stated back while turning to Katie and Ezor. "Hey, love. Katie, Ezor."

Katie stated while waving hello, along with Ezor. "Hi, Allura. Good to see you again."

Haggar asked softly as she was curious to know what her girlfriend/lover was even doing in Nepal. "Allura, what are you doing here?"

Allura answered truthfully. "My job. I'm working on a story about a feared Galran warlord known as Zarkon. My superiors…"

Katie asked as she, Haggar and Ezor were deeply stunned/shocked after discovering that Allura was looking into the ruthless and merciless Galran warlord. "Hold on...Allura. You're investigating Zarkon? I thought it was NATO's job to hunt down international war criminals?"

The pure blooded Altean reporter stated. "They do...but they believe he's dead. That he supposedly died during an air strike on his compound two years ago." She added softly. "He's a goddamn monster. NATO found evidence connecting him to hundreds of murders on six different countries; ranging from torture, mutilations and mass executions."

Katie stated while whimpering softly in fear after hearing how horrible Zarkon really was with Ezor holding her close and placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Oh, my god."

Allura stated softly. "We tracked him here...we just don't know...why." Before the full blooded Altean reporter added softly while slowly realizing that Haggar, Ezor and Katie were the ones who shot down the Galran attack helicopter. "Oh, no...No, no, no, no."

Haggar stated softly, with Katie and Ezor massaging the back of their necks whilst glancing away nervously. "Allura, please..."

Allura stated softly. "Haggar...please tell me that you, Katie and Ezor had nothing to do with this."

Shortly after Axca and Shiro finally arrived and caught up with Haggar, Katie and Ezor, the Altean treasure hunter had introduced them to Allura and Hunk. "Allura, this is Acxa and her brother Shiro. They're…helping us."

"And who are they?" Shiro asked with a raised eyebrow.

"This is Allura. Haggar's girlfriend and a very talented journalist/reporter." Ezor answered.

"And this is…?" Katie asked

"Hunk Wynia." Hunk introduced himself. "I'm Allura's cameraman."

"It's a pleasure to meet you both, but we have to keep moving if we wanna stay 1 step ahead of Zarkon." Acxa reminded her girlfriend and her friends.

"Oh, damn, you guys!" Allura said with annoyance.

"Easy, Allura. Don't jump to conclusions." Haggar said gently.

"I may not know what the history is between you guys, but we have to move, now!" Shrio said. "Ms. Allura, is it? Take your friend and get to the airport and on a plane or whatever transport that'll get you out of Nepal if you can. It's too dangerous for you 2 to be here with that madman and his entire army out here!"

"Whoa! Hold on there, Mr. Shrio! I can handle myself just fine!" Allura protested.

"That's true. Allura was with us during the El Dorado treasure hunt. She can handle herself as well as we can." Katie said, sticking up for Allura.

"And what about Mr. Hunk over here? He obviously doesn't have the experience we do in gunfighting. He'll be lucky to survive the hour, let alone this entire hunt!" Acxa countered.

"Hey! Journalists have always risked their lives for the truth and the story." Hunk said in his defense.

"And what good is the truth and the story worth if you end up dead? You don't get 2nd chances with a madman like Zarkon. Especially since he's got an entire army of trained killers to back him up. Just take your journalist friend and get away from here." Shrio told them.

"My baby brother's right. Zarkon's a fucking monster who'll damn sure kill his own men for even the slightest things they do wrong. Unless you have experience with hand to hand combat and gunfighting like we do, which I doubt, there's no guarantee you'll get outta this treasure hunt alive. Unless you wanna end up taking the 1 way trip to the pearly gates a lot sooner than you want to, I'd suggest you get your asses outta the country."

"Not to be disrespectful here, Hunk, but for once I agree with Acxa and her brother." Haggar said, agreeing with Acxa and her brother for once. "I can tell you don't have a single bit of the experience we do. Allura does have experience but that's because she was with us during the El Dorado incident and we dealt with scumbag pirates that didn't have the training Zarkon and his soldiers do. You weren't there and like Acxa said: you'll be extremely lucky to survive an hour in this chaos."

"Yeah. The best thing for you to do is get out of Nepal if you can, Hunk." Katie added. "If you have any family, we'd rather not have to tell them the news that you're dead."

"And there's the fact that if Zarkon catches Acxa and me with you guys, our cover is blown and we're all dead! Having them around will only slow us down." Shrio added.

"Watch it, Shiro! Allura can handle herself as much as we can!" Haggar warned him.

But Ezor didn't want to waste any more time arguing. "Enough!" She called out, getting their attention. "Look, I don't wanna spend any time here arguing about who comes with us and who leaves. If Zarkon and his men catch up and find us, we're all fucking dead! So, for now, Hunk, you can come, as long as you don't slow us down. But if it gets outta hand, you take your damn camera and get the hell outta here and on the 1st transport that'll get you outta this warzone country. Got it?"

"Oh, come on, love. You can't be serious about bringing him along. He's only gonna slow us down." Acxa protested.

"Believe me, baby. I don't wanna bring him along either, but with Zarkon and his men all around here, the safest place he can be right now is with us." Ezor said with reluctance.

"I'm afraid Ezor's right. Zarkon's men are all around the city and he'll be extremely lucky not to run into a patrol or Zarkon himself. Either way, he's gonna be in danger." Haggar said with equal reluctance. "But…if things do get crazy, which they already have, I'd suggest you take the camera and get outta this fucking warzone in the 1st fast working vehicle you can find."

After the argument between the two groups was over, they had fought their way through the city whilst battling a small handful of Zarkon's mercenaries, whom were sent to search for the destroyed helicopter, with Hunk hiding behind cover every time they got into gunfights, which proved Haggar and the others right about him not having the training in gunfighting and hand to hand combat.

And after finally arriving at Zarkon's main campsite, Allura stated softly while sitting down on an ammo crate near one of the vacant tents. "Okay, Haggar...you wanna explain to me why you, Ezor and Katie are here in Nepal and duking it out with a homicidal asshole like Zarkon?"

Haggar stated while sighing softly and sitting down on the same crate as her lover. "Allura...during your time in Nepal, have you seen Zarkon with a human with brown hair, British accent?"

Allura answered while nodding 'yes', "Yeah."

Haggar continued softly. "His name's Harry Flynn. Three months ago, he found me, Katie and Ezor in Panama and offered us a job: to lift an artifact from the Royal Museum in Turkey. Only...it was a set up. That asshole double crossed me and Ezor and got us sent to prison."

Allura asked softly as she was deeply stunned to learn what had happened after she and Haggar spoke three months ago and curious to what it was that Harry recruited them to steal. "What was it that Flynn needed your help to steal from the Turkish museum?"

Haggar answered while softly rubbing the back on her neck. "Well...Flynn didn't really need us to steal anything. He used us to retrieve a map that held information that could lead Flynn and Zarkon to a legendary treasure known as the Cintamani Stone. It's worth millions."

Allura asked while understanding what her lover was telling her. "And this...Cintamani Stone is here? In Nepal?"

Haggar replied while shaking her head 'no', "No. It isn't here in Nepal. But this temple holds the next clue to find the Stone."

Shiro then said to them. "Guys, we got more weapons, ammo and grenades. I suggest we keep moving."

"And on top of that, we still think that Hunk here should get outta here while he still can. It's already gotten out of hand and we can't protect ourselves and him at the same time." Acxa added after her little brother.

"He's been lucky so far." Allura said in his defense.

"And how long before his luck runs out?" Haggar asked her lover. "Look, Allura, we shouldn't have let him come with us in the 1st place."

"Are they always this protective, Allura?" Hunk asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes, they have. Though Acxa and her brother, I'm not so sure about." Allura answered. But it just means that, unlike that goddamn monster Zarkon, they actually care if innocent people live."

"Exactly." Ezor said. "So, I think Hunk's time here's up. He should just go hide somewhere safe where those guys won't find him and while they're distracted by chasing us, you find whatever transportation you can to get outta this country."

"Really hate to admit it, but they're right. It's getting more dangerous than it already was for Hunk to be here." Katie added.

"I'm starting to think you guys are right." Hunk said as they moved along, eventually coming to a stop at the temple doors.

"Well, good, now unless you wanna get in the line of more gunfire, go find someplace you're absolutely sure you'll be safe and hide there. And when you're absolutely sure you can, get as far away from here as possible and get outta town." Shrio said before giving him a gun. "Here. Just in case. You'll definitely need it. Safety's off and 15 bullets inside with hollow points. And if any of Zarkon's men find you, do not hesitate. You put a bullet in their brains or their hearts. Because like I said, you don't get 2nd chances with Zarkon or his men. So you better make damn sure every single bullet counts as a kill shot."

"S-sure." Hunk said, reluctantly taking the gun.

"And I'd advise you to leave the camera. That thing's just gonna slow you down." Acxa warned him. "And don't even think about using your 1st amendment rights bullshit on me, cause it won't work."

After quickly thinking it over, Hunk put down the camera and said. "Well, hope you guys make it. Especially Allura. But how am I gonna explain this to our boss or NATO?"

"Just tell 'em it got too bloody and crazy and you had to bail while you still could. They'll believe you." Ezor assured him. "And if we do make it, Allura will back you up."

"Well, if it's at all possible, try and bring me something back to compensate for no story." Hunk said with a hopeful look.

"We'll try, now get out of here before they catch up and start another gunfight." Acxa told him, making him nervously run in another direction to find somewhere to hide.

And after Hunk was gone, Haggar saw a helicopter near them. "Fuck! I think we should get inside."

"Good idea." Acxa said before they quickly went inside the temple.

"We should be safe in here for now." Haggar told them.

"I'm beginning to think you're right, Haggar, but just to be safe, baby brother and I will stay here and guard Allura. Think of it as a test to earn your trust, as a start." Acxa offered.

But Allura was thinking about why Zarkon was after something worth money. "Wait." She said before speaking to Haggar. "Something doesn't add up. Zarkon can't be after the money, he doesn't need it. You've got to be missing something."

"Maybe. But for now, let's just find the next clue and get outta here as quickly as we can." Haggar said before turning to Acxa. "You and your brother better look after her with your very lives."

Acxa gave Haggar a salute. "Ma'am, yes ma'am! And I know what you're gonna say: no smoking anywhere near her. Relax, there's a little hallway over there. If I need a cigarette, I'll smoke there."

"Good." Haggar said before kissing Allura deeply. "We'll be right back, baby. Promise."

"You'd better, love." Allura said sweetly.

Ezor then gave Acxa a deep tongue kiss while rubbing and squeezing her ass. "Love you, baby."

"Love you too, sexy." Acxa said seductively before Ezor, Haggar and Katie went through the next door, leaving Shiro, Acxa and Allura behind. And when they were gone and Shiro was standing guard, Acxa went to the hallway entrance and lit up a cigarette, taking a drag and blowing out the smoke.

"Really couldn't wait to smoke, could you, Ms. Acxa?" Allura asked with annoyance.

"Hey, being caught in gunfights with an insane madman's army and escaping death by the skin of my teeth is enough to get a girl stressed out." Acxa said with her cigarette in her mouth. "And don't complain about it as much as your girlfriend does."

"Want some friendly advice, Acxa? Find a more healthy stress relieving habit that won't eventually give you lung cancer." Allura advised her.

"Relax, Allura, I don't inhale." Acxa assured her.

"Then mouth cancer."

Shiro was annoyed with the arguing. 'Fuck, Acxa, why did you have to drag me back in the treasure hunting game?' He asked himself mentally.
