It's some time since Angel had returned, and now we were talking about homecoming. Jo, Rebekah, Jeremy, and Kol were on the dance floor. The rest of us sat at the bar with sodas, coffee, teas, and snacks.

"I think we should get a limo," Cordelia voiced as they came over to us.

"A limo?" Xander questioned.

"Yeah!" Cordelia exclaimed.

"A big, expensive limo?" Xander questioned again.

"That sounds like fun! And it is our last homecoming Dance, so maybe we should make a big deal of it," Willow stated.

"You wanna talk fun? Public bus. You meet the funnest people," Xander joked as Cordelia gave us a disbelief look before he continued. "Back me up here, Oz."

"Well, if it's a dollar issue, we could all take my van," Oz responded.

"Van? The Homecoming Queen doesn't go to the dance in a van. Use your head," Cordelia returned.

Willow and I rolled our eyes at what Cordelia said.

"Well, technically, you haven't been elected yet..." Xander stated before getting a look from her. "Although you certainly and without a doubt will be." He turned to us and asked. "Who else like a limo?"

"A private limo! It, it is pretty..." Willow responded as she nudged Oz. "...cuddlesome." She looked at Buffy. "And if we all split the cost..."

"If you need the money, we can pay half of it," Rebekah said as she, Jo and Jeremy came over.

"Um... maybe. You know, if I go and all," Buffy said as she came out of her dazed zone.

I knew Buffy wasn't doing okay with Scott as Buffy had told us what Scott said to her after what happened with Pete. I'm worried that Scott will break up with Buffy due to her having secrets with us.

"Why wouldn't you go? You already have your tickets and dress," Willow voiced as I noticed Scott approaching. "I mean unless you don't have a da..." Willow noticed Scott. "...ay o-or two to think about it. We should all think about it."

I knew Willow was hoping hadn't messed anything up for Buffy with Scott.

"What's going on here? Did Scott not ask her to Homecoming Dance yet?" Cordelia asked in confusion.

"Thanks, Cordelia's Humiliation's really good for my colour," Buffy voiced in embarrassment.

I knew Buffy hadn't been asked by Scott yet, while the rest of our high school boyfriends had asked us.

"Oh, um... well, no. I just... I assumed that you would think it was corny or something, but I-I'm in... I mean, you know, if you are, if you want it," Scott stuttered with unsureness.

I could feel something wasn't right and that he wasn't saying something.

"Uh, sure... I do. You know, i-if you want to," Buffy returned.

"Well, I do if you want to," Scott suggested as Willow smiled widely.

"The judges will accept that as a 'yes'," Oz responded with a smile.

"Do you want me to get you another drink?" Scott asked Buffy.

"Um... no, actually. Uh... I-I'm a little tired," Buffy answered.

"I think we're gonna call it a night," Kate voiced.

"But I'm excited about the dance," Buffy told him with a smile.

"Me, too," Scott returned before they kissed.

"Bye, guys," Kyra stated as we got up from the bar and headed out of the bronze towards the manor.

After we left the Bronze, we headed to the place that sells animal blood and got some for Angel before heading to the mansion. When we got to the manor, we saw light from the fireplace before seeing a shadow person coming towards us from the curtained doorway. It was Angel as he pulled the curtain away before he jumped back as he was startled by us.

"It's just us," I said before holding out a bag of animal blood. "Here."

Angel took the bag before I kissed his cheek. We followed him in and saw Elijah and Cole with Persephone playing on the floor. Angel sat down on the couch before we sat down, he took the quart-sized plastic container of animal blood out of the bag.

"How are you feeling?" Kyra asked him as Angel sniffed the blood.

"It hurts..." Angel responded as he jerked his head from the tub of blood before lowering the lid and placing it down on the table away from Persephone. "... less now."

"That's good," I returned before telling him. "We haven't told Giles and the others you are back."

"Giles..." Angel whispered as I could tell he was remembering what his alter ego did to him.

"And we're not going to," Jo voiced.

"They wouldn't understand that you're better. And we're going keep helping you get better," Rebekah told him.

"We're seniors and Buffy's finally working harder in school. Some of us are starting to think about college and Buffy's finally dating someone," I voiced.

Angel turned and looked a Buffy in surprise, but he knew Buffy would date soon enough with all of us around her dating others.

"His name is Scott. He's a nice guy. He makes me happy and that's what I need: someone to count on," Buffy told him.

"That's good," Angel responded.

We continued talking until it was time for us to go.

"We'll see you later," I voiced before kissing Angel goodnight.

I took Persephone from Angel before taking Cole's hand. Everyone else took their mate's hand before we shimmered/orbed out of the manor.

When we got home, Cole did Persephone's nightly routine before laying her down to sleep. The rest of us grabbed a quick snack before changing into our PJs and headed into the living room to watch a Halloween movie before bed.

"What's tonight's movie?" Jeremy asked.

"According to our calendar, we are watching..." Kate said as she and Kyra looked at the Movie calendar we made for fall months.

"We are watching... Coraline tonight," Kyra answered.

Cole joined us with the baby monitor before sitting down in front of me with his back against my legs. Buffy started the movie before dimming the lights.

A Slight Time Skip Later...

The movie was over and it was time for everyone to leave. I kissed both Elijah and Cole before they shimmered out of the house. I headed upstairs before walking to the nursery with the baby monitor and saw Persephone asleep.

"Night, my love," I whispered before walking out.

I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth before I headed into my room and got into bed. I turned over and went to sleep.

Time Skip

It was morning. I felt the sun's light on my face before I got out of bed. I got out of my PJs and laid them under my pillow before getting into clean undergarments. I pulled on my pink jeans before doing them up. I pulled on my pink tank top and put a white sweater over it before putting on my pink flats. I grabbed today's bag and put everything I would need today inside. I sat in front of my makeup table and brushed my hair before pulling it into a ponytail.

"I'm ready," I whispered as I walked out of my room and downstairs to the kitchen dining room.

When I got downstairs, Elijah was feeding Persephone her breakfast while Klaus, Finn, Kyra and Kate platted breakfast.

"Morning," I said as I sat down next to Persephone.

"Today's breakfast is Cheesy Potato Egg Scramble," Klaus told me as Kate placed a plate of food in front of me.

"Thank you," I voiced.

"You're welcome, little sis," Kate responded.

I got down and started eating my breakfast as Kyra joined us.

"Morning, all," Kyra voiced as she sat down.

"Morning," We returned.

We got down and ate before we had to get to school.

When we got to school, we separated before we saw Scott coming toward us.

"Hey, Buffy, can we talk?" Scott asked.

"Um, Buffy, we will be over there," Kyra voiced as she pointed to a place where we could still hear them speak but was away from them.

We walked away from the two and stopped before listening to Scott's and Buffy's conversation.

"I don't think we should see each other anymore," Scott told her.

"You don't?" Buffy questioned in confusion before asking. "When did this happen? Where was I?"

"Buffy, it's just. Before we were going out, you, you seemed so... full of life, like a force of nature. Now, you just seem distracted all the time, and..." Scott said before being interrupted.

"Yeah, I know, it's... I'm getting better. Honest. In fact, from here on, you're gonna see a drastic distraction reduction," Buffy interrupted as Scott didn't say anything. She continued. "Drastic distraction reduction. Try saying that ten times fast."

"I'm really sorry," Scott said before walking away.

Kate, Kyra, Jo, Rebekah and I walked over to her.

"It's okay, Buffy. We're here. Tonight, we'll have a girl's night in," Rebekah suggested.

"That will be nice," Buffy whispered as we group hugged.

But what we didn't know was, that we were being watched by someone who would cause trouble for us.

Across the street in a van with darkly tinted windows, a man was looking through binoculars before another man took a video feed of Buffy and Aurora. The second man hooked up the video feed and connected to another computer across town. Across town, in an old-style house, in a modern style of dark office, the video feed connected. An older man in a wheelchair rolled up to the desk in front of the laptop. He hit a few keys before looking at the screen.

"Is that them?" The older man asked.

"In the nubile fleshes, my friend," Trick said as he stepped and looked at the screen.

It showed Buffy, Aurora and their female friends walking around while Buffy looked upset.

"That's the targets," Trick added before walking away.

Across town at City Hall, Deputy Mayor was waiting outside the Mayor's office.

"The Mayor will see you now," The secretary said.

The Deputy Mayor composed himself before heading for the Mayor's door and opening it. He walked in holding a folder before glancing at the Mayor's desk but didn't see him. He looked around before seeing the Mayor coming out of his private washroom while drying his hands.

"I'm sorry to bother you, sir," Deputy Mayor said as he closed the door.

"I'm not bothered, Allan," The Mayor replied before going to his desk.

"Well, I-I'm not sure how serious this is, but uh," Deputy Mayor Allan voiced as he stepped toward the desk and opened the folder. "...they were spotted in town three days ago." He laid the open folder on the desk. "I've been informed. Frederick and Han Gruenstahler, uh..." The Mayor picked up the Interpol warrant copy. "...wanted in Germany for capital murder, terrorism, uh..." The Mayor sniffed the paper. "... the bombing of Flight 1402... Uh, I should have brought it to your attention sooner, but I'd, I'd wanted to..." He noticed and was flustered by the Mayor's sniffing at the paper. "...confirm..."

The Mayor took another sniff of the paper.

"Would you show me your hands, please?" The Mayor asked.

"Sir?" Deputy Mayor Allan questioned as he raised his eyebrows.

"Your hands," The Mayor returned as he put the warrant down and pushed the file aside before indicating for Deputy Mayor Allan to put his hands down on the desk.

Deputy Mayor Allan held his hands out before leaning over and placing them on the desk. The Mayor leaned closer to inspect them while the Deputy Mayor nervously watched as he took a breath after looking them over.

"I think they could be cleaner," The Mayor voiced.

"Of course, sir. I-I mean, I, I washed them, but..." Deputy Mayor Allan stuttered.

"After every meal and under your fingernails. Dirt gets trapped there... and germs... and mayonnaise. My dear mother said, 'cleanliness is next to godliness,' and I believed her. She never caught a cold," The Mayor told him as he leaned against the back of his chair and laughed. While his deputy mayor looked about to have a nervous breakdown before he continued. "I'd like these two..." He pointed at the warrant. "... to be under surveillance," Deputy Mayor stood back up. "...and I'd like to know if... any other colourful characters have come to town."

"I'll take care of it," Deputy Mayor Allan voiced as he weakly smiled.

"You have all my faith," The Mayor returned.

Deputy Mayor Allan stepped away from the desk before he walked out of the office.

A Slight Time Skip...

After Scott broke up with Buffy, we headed to our classes. Now, we were doing yearbook photos. But Buffy wasn't here. Cordelia gave the camera a glowing smile, while Xander gave a goofy one with a heavy dimpled smile. Willow hopped onto the stool and gave a big grin, but the photographer hadn't taken the picture as the smile became a concerned look. Oz stared blankly into the camera with a thin smile on his face. Then it went to Cole, then Kol, then Rebekah, then Jo, then Sam, then Dean, then Jeremy, then Kate, then Kyra, then Andy, then Leo, and finally me. After the pictures, we met up with the others.

"You have to help me pick an outfit. I wanna wear something that makes Oz go, 'Oh,'" Willow voiced with a grin.

"Well, I have the options for your dress that I made. I'll bring them over after school," Kyra voiced.

"Thanks, Kyra," Willow returned.

"You're welcome," Kyra responded.

"No problem. I got the tux going on. I'm going to look hot if it even remotely fits," Xander stated as we reached Cordelia.

"What are you doing?" Jeremy asked.

"Checking out the I-laughing-use-the-phrase competition," Cordelia responded as she jumped and faced us.

She looked over across the room at a girl. The girl was playing with her hair as she talked to a couple of boys.

"Holly Charleston: nice girl, brain dead, doesn't have a prayer," Cordelia continued as Oz joined us before he put his arm around Willow.

Cordelia shifted her gaze to another girl as she handed out campaign flyers.

"Michelle Blake: open to all mankind, especially those with a letterman's jacket and a car," Cordelia continued before looking at Xander with concern and adding. "She could give a run." She crossed her arms.

"Where's Buffy? She's gonna miss the yearbook pictures," Willow voiced as Oz and Kol looked around.

"We put the date on the kitchen calendar and told her yesterday about it," Kate stated.

"Buffy and Faith are in the library getting all sweaty," Xander responded.

"I'll be joining them, but I'll be doing yoga," I told them.

"They're training," Cordelia corrected him.

"I stand by my phrase," Xander voiced as he gave her a look.

"I don't think she was here the day they announced them. Did anybody tell her?" Oz questioned.

"Well, we found out from Jenna, but maybe she forgot," Kyra replied.

"Oh, I'll tell her now. I have to go to the nurse's office for an ice pack anyway," Cordelia voiced.

"We'll go..." I started to say before the bell rang. "I guess not. I have my cooking class to get to."

"And we are classes as well," Jo voiced.

We headed off toward our classes.

After Aurora, Kate, Kyra and some of the gang left, Willow, Oz, Xander, and Cordelia were left standing as they were still talking.

"Did you hurt yourself?" Xander questioned after they watched some of their group go as he placed his hand on her arm.

"No, silly," Cordelia said as she smiled before nudging him. "It shrinks the pores!" She walked off.

Oz gave a Xander that ozzed with 'duh'.

Across campus in the library, Faith was holding a padded glove as Buffy threw several punches at them.

"Where's Aurora?" Faith asked.

"Cooking class, but I believe she'll join us after it," Buffy answered before delivering a couple more punches to the pads.

"Oh, man! Guys should break up with you more often," Faith voiced as she took her hands out of the pad before shaking them.

"Gee, thanks," Buffy responded as she headed towards the book cage.

"No, I mean it. You really got some quality rage going. Really gives you an edge," Faith told her as she followed and set the pads down.

"Edge girl. Just what I always wanted to be," Buffy replied before her bag and looked for something to drink.

"Well, screw him, alright? You move on, and..." Faith returned as she picked up a towel. "You party heavily, and you'll be fine. I mean, you're still going to that dance, right?" As she wiped her face with the towel.

"Maybe," Buffy said as she found a cold bottle of freshly-made orange juice in her lunch bag before opening it and taking a sip.

"You got the tix already. Why don't we go together?" Faith suggested before asking. "Are Aurora and the others going?"

"Yeah, I believe they are, but I just don't know if I want to still go," Buffy answered as she smiled before closing her bottle and placing it back her lunch bag.

"Come on. We'll find a couple of studs. We'll use them and... discard them. That's always fun," Faith replied before taking a sip of water from her bottle while nodding.

"Okay, I'm in. Not the stud-using part, though," Buffy voiced as she smirked and rolled her eyes before saying. "Or... probably not."

Outside in the Hallway, Cordelia walked towards the library before stopping, looking into the room and saw two of the Slayers talking. But before she opened the door, she spotted two boys walking by and rushed to catch up to them.

"Uh, Bobby! Mashad!" Cordelia laughed as she smiled before saying. "You don't phone, you don't write..." She made eyes at them before asking. "Where's the love?"

She caught up to them and started her pitch.

After Buffy was done training with Faith, she headed off to find one of her teachers to talk to. Moments later, Buffy noticed the teacher she was searching for before running toward her.

"Ms. Moran?" Buffy said as the teacher looked up. "Hi! I'm so glad that I ran into you." She smiled as they slowly walked. "Um, I had this little incident last year of getting kicked out of school. And I'm back now, though, I've done all of my makeup tests, but I still need one written recommendation from a teacher. I think the word that Principal Snyder used was glowing." She gave her an awkward smile before continuing. "Uh, to put in my file so I can prove that I belong here."

"And, um, you are...?" Ms. Moran questioned.

"Buffy. B-Buffy Summers," Buffy said as she was taken back while the teacher tried to remember her before she continued. "Third row. I sat by the window. Uh, your class: Contemporary American Heros from Amelia Earhart to Maya Angelou. The class that changed my life?"

"Were absent a lot, um..." Ms. Moran said as she tried to remember Buffy's name.

"Buffy?" Buffy responded.

Buffy realized this recommendation from a teacher would be the hardest thing she needed to get.

A Slight Time Skip Later...

After Buffy talked to her teacher and after morning classes, we met up with the others in the cafeteria for lunch. We sat at a group of tables as Buffy stared off into space while the rest of us ate or picked at our lunch. Cordelia was walking around holding flyers for her campaign for Homecoming Queen.

"Hi. I hope you'll consider me for Homecoming Queen," Cordelia voiced as she handed a flyer over before walking away.

"I can't believe it. My favourite teacher and she didn't even remember who I was. I'm like a non-person," Buffy told us before turning to Oz and Sam and asking. "Am I invisible? Can you see me?" She waved her hand in front of them.

"Big as life," Oz responded.

"At Hemery, I was Prom Princess... I was Fiesta Queen... I was on the cheerleading team. And the yearbook was like, a story of me," Buffy moaned. "Now it's senior year, and I'm going to be on a crappy picture on one-eight of one crappy page."

"Uh, no, actually, you're not," Xander replied as he looked up from his lunch.

"What do you mean?" Buffy questioned.

"Well, you missed the picture taking," Jeremy told her.

"When? Why?" Buffy questioned as her eyes went wide in surprise before looking at us.

"We did them this morning for our grade," Sam told her.

"We assumed you forgot about it," Kyra voiced.

"Cordelia said she was going to tell you," Willow stated.

Buffy looked over at Cordelia before getting up and approaching her.

"Thanks for your support," Cordelia said before turning around and seeing Buffy. "Buffy, you look so cute in that outfit."

"I'm not voting for you," Buffy told her.

"Then make it snappy," Cordelia curtly said.

"How come you didn't tell me they were doing the yearbook pictures?" Buffy questioned as she crossed her arms.

"Didn't I? Oh, I guess I forgot. What's the big deal?" Cordelia replied.

"It's just..." Buffy exhaled before continuing. "You could've thought about somebody else for thirty seconds, that's all."

"Hey, I am under a lot of pressure here," Cordelia told her.

"Oh, yeah, campaigning. Rough gig," Buffy returned.

"What would you know about it? Just because you were Guacamole Queen when you were three doesn't mean you understand how this works," Cordelia responded.

"Obviously, it involves handing out entirely lame flyers," Buffy expressed.

"No. It involves being part of this school and having actual friends," Cordelia said.

I could tell Buffy took what Cordelia said as offensive as she glared at Cordelia.

"Now, if it was about monsters, blood, and innards. Then, you'd be a shoo-in. I'd like to see you try to win the crown," Cordelia added.

"You would?" Buffy questioned as Cordelia huffed before walking around Buffy to leave. "Then you will."

"What does that mean?" Cordelia asked as she stopped and turned around to face her.

"I'm gonna show you how it's done," Buffy answered as she faced her and told her. "I'm gonna fun for Homecoming Queen, and I'm going to win."

I winced as I knew Buffy was a campaign fighter when she attended Hemery High School. She would tell me about her campaigns and victories through emails or video calls.

"This is starting to be sad," Cordelia replied.

"Sorry, Cordy, but you have no idea who you're messing with," Buffy told her.

"What? The Slayer?" Cordelia questioned.

"I'm not talking about the Slayer. I'm talking about Buffy. You've awakened the Prom Queen within. And that crown is going to be mine," Buffy responded.

I groaned as I knew Buffy would pull us into this, but some of us didn't have time. I opened my eyes to see Buffy coming back towards us as the bell rang for afternoon classes. We got up and headed to our class.

Time Skip

The sun had set on Sunnydale. Trick was speaking to his guests about the plans for the event that was happening.

"Competition. Competition is a beautiful thing. It makes us strive. It... makes us accomplish," Trick said as he started to walk. "Occasionally, it makes us kill. We all have the desire to win." He walked around the room. "Whether we're human..." He gestured to three men. "Vampire..." He nodded to a couple before he stopped and looked at a yellow-skinned creature with a spiny ridge along the top of his head. "... and whatever the hell you are, my brother. You got them spiny head things. I ain't never seen that before."

"I am Kulak, of the Miquot Clan," Kulak told him.

"Isn't that nice," Trick replied as he continued to walk around while talking. "Point is, you're all here for the same reason."

"Well, it sure ain't no philosophy class, now, is it?" The male vampire responded as the female vampire smiled at him.

"Mr. Gorch, my account statement says, that your deposit has not yet been made," Trick told the vampire as he stopped pacing and faced him.

"Well, me and Candy... we blowing our whole honeymoon stash on this little game here," the last remaining Gorch brother Lyle said before dumping a big bag of bloody cash on the table.

"They're dirty," an unimpressed Trick replied.

"They're nonconsecutive," Lyle voiced as he smiled.

Trick gave the money another look, but this time with an impressed look.

"The games will begin in a few days. The first two targets, Buffy and Aurora, you've all seen. The third, Faith, is... a little more elusive. But they will all be together and ready for the killing, and that is a money-back guarantee," Trick told them as the Gorches smiled before he announced. "Ladies, gentlemen and spiny-headed-looking creatures welcome to SlayerFest!"

Across town at the Rosenberg house, inside Willow's room, Willow was trying one of the outfits Kyra had created for the dance.

"What do you think of this?" Willow asked as she walked out from behind her dressing screen.

"Nice," Xander said as he glanced over at her and smiled while shrugging and tugging his white long-sleeved dress shirt into his tuxedo pants as his bow ties hung around his collar untied.

"It's my first big dance, you know?" Willow voiced as she smiled while continuing. "Where there's a boy and a band... and not just me alone in my room pretending there's a boy and a band." She picked up another dress. "I just want it to be..." She headed behind the changing screen.

"Special," Xander responded as he stepped over to the dressing mirror to tie his bow tie before continuing to speak. "That's why I spared no expense on the tux."

"The tux? I thought you, uh, borrowed it from your cousin Rigby," Willow returned.

"Expense to my pride, Willow," Xander said as he struggled with his tie. "They're our relations with money, and they shun us... as they should."

"What do you think about this?" Willow asked as she stepped out from behind the screen in another dress outfit created by Kyra.

"Nice," Xander replied as he looked and nodded before turning his attention back to his tie.

Willow watched him struggle with it before she walked over, and raised her hands to reach the tie. Xander let go of the bow tie as she started to tie it before she looked at him and smiled.

"What?" Xander questioned as he noticed her smile.

"I was just..." Willow said as she smiled. "Remember the eighth-grade cotillion?" She giggled. "You had the clip-on?"

"Hey, I was pretty styling with a clip-on," Xander replied.

"And now here we are, and it's... Homecoming," Willow voiced before she concentrated on the tie.

"Yeah, we should face it, Will," Xander returned. "You and I are gonna be in neighbouring rest homes while I come over so you can adjust my, um..." Willow raised her eyebrows at him. "My, uh... Well, I can't think of anything that's not really gross."

Willow finished with the tie and smiled at him while patting the bow tie before stepping back and trying on another outfit created by Kyra.

"So, uh... you and Oz," Xander voiced as he pulled on his vest before asking. "How do I put this?" He buttoned the vest up. "Are we on first, second, or, uh... ye gods?"

"That's none of your business, Alexander Harris," Willow responded as she adjusted the shoulder strap of the dress she was trying on.

"Ooo, rounding second," Xander said as he smiled while reaching for his jacket.

"You don't know that. What about you and Cordelia?" Willow huffed.

"Oh, a gentleman never talks about his conquests," Xander replied as he pulled on his formal jacket.

"Oh, yeah?" Willow returned as she stepped out from behind the screen. "Well, since when did you become a..."

They both looked at each other while she was wearing a long elegant black, sleeveless, full-length dress, and he looked dapper in his tuxedo. They didn't speak until Willow broke the silence to finish her sentence.

"...gentleman?" Willow said as she finished her sentence while smiling and giggling. "Uh, I know. 'Nice'." She looked down at the dress before looking at him and shrugging.

"I was gonna go with 'gorgeous'," Xander voiced as he stepped towards her.

"Really? You, too. I-In a guy way," Willow returned as she smiled and stepped towards him.

"Oz is very lucky," Xander said with a smile as he drew a breath.

"So is Cordelia... i-in a girl way," Willow replied with a smile before she started to look worried. "I don't know if I can dance in this. I don't know if I can dance!"

"Come on. Piece of cake," Xander returned as he stepped towards her and offered his hands for a dance. "Here." They got into position for a traditional slow waltz before starting to dance. "Well, that seems to, um..." He looked down at their feet as they began to sway back and forth for a while.

"Yeah. This shouldn't be a... problem," Willow said as she looked at him but tried not to be seen as she was.

"No," Xander replied as they slowly inched closer to each other. "No problem."

Xander leaned his head down to her as she responded by angling her up to him, but soon they were very close and were kissing. The kiss lasted several seconds before they realized what they were doing and jumped away from each other.

"That didn't just happen!" Xander exclaimed as he pointed at her.

"No!" Willow returned with nervous gestures. "I mean, it did, but it didn't!"

"Because I respect you. And Oz. And I would never..." Xander replied.

"I would never, either! I-it must be the clothes. I-it's a fluke," Willow said as she furrowed her brows.

"It's a clothes fluke... that's what it is. And there'll be no more fluking," Xander returned.

"Not ever," Willow replied as they stepped closer again before going into another kiss but jumped back a second later.

"We gotta get out of these clothes!" Xander exclaimed.

"Right now!" Willow cried.

"Oh, I didn't mean..." Xander voiced as they began to realize what they said to each other.

"I didn't... me, either!" Willow replied as they got all flustered before she headed back behind the screen and changed into her PJs while Xander changed back into his clothes.

While Willow and Xander changed into their clothes, across town at the Slayer house, Buffy and the girls were baking and decorating cupcakes.

"I can't believe... we made this many cupcakes," Jenna voiced.

"Yes, well... Some of them are for my campaign, some for Mom to share with the gallery," Buffy responded.

"And the rest for ourselves," Kate returned.

"Well, the decorating and packaging are done. What's next?" Kyra questioned.

"Why don't we watch a movie?" I suggested as I looked at the baby monitor to sleep a sleeping Persephone.

"What movie is on the countdown list?" Jeremy asked.

"Well, today is the 9th. Tonight's movie is Edward Scissorhands," Kate voiced as she checked the list.

"Well, let's take our leftover cupcakes and our drinks and put on the movie," Rebekah stated.

I grabbed my drink and the baby monitor before following the others into the living room. When we got into the living room, we sat down and turned on the movie before we started watching.

A Slight Time Skip Later...

The movie was over, and the girls were staying over. I headed upstairs and checked on Persephone. She was asleep before getting my clothes ready for the morning. I pulled out tomorrow's outfit and got it ready. I pulled back my blankets and got into bed before grabbing my journal and pen and started writing.

Dear Diary,

The last two days have been interesting. Our homecoming outfits are ready while our hairstyles, makeup and nails are planned. Buffy's boyfriend Scott broke up with her, and Cordelia ignited the campaign spark in Buffy. This evening, we made a lot of cupcakes and posters as well as watched Edward Scissorhands. Now it was time for bed and a new day to begin.

A*

I closed my journal and laid it and the pen on the side table before turning off the light and going to sleep.
