A/N: As of three days ago, It's Pony came to an end, after only two seasons. It's such a waste of a worthwhile cartoon. It was an improvement of a cartoon for Nickelodeon, but Glitch Techs was more of an improvement. When I first saw the episode, Plants on YouTube, it earned my positive viewpoint of it. And during December 2019, to me, it was mostly better than The Loud House and The Casagrandes. It's Pony kept many entertained during 2020, those who stuck around to watch its episodes. It even had the announcement of getting a second season. And it took a long time to finally get its second season. Nickelodeon's wasting another cartoon here. With that said, enjoy this dramedy fanfiction story for a movie's story, focusing on Pony's origin. Like my two Loud House fanfiction series, it will also use the Silence is Golden trope. Visually, this is portrayed in lineless traditional animation (aka cel animation). Enjoy.
Pony Bramley was once again waiting at the school's entrance. He was waiting in anticipation, and had a smile on him. 10 minutes had passed. Finally, the bell rang. A horde of students came rushing out! Pony ran in and on to the wall to his left side, and watched as students ran past him. He watched, constantly turning his head around, trying to see where Annie was. He repeatedly tapped his hoof lightly against the ground in anxiousness. Among the students he saw there were, Clara, Heston, Gerry, and Brian. And Beatrice and Henrietta. He continued tapping his hoof against the ground. More and more students came out, but not a certain someone. After 3 minutes, Annie came out, looking forward for something special. Pony became joyous the moment he saw her. "Annie!"
"Hiya, Pony." She waved. They rushed toward and hugged each other.
"I can't wait to spend this summer with you every chance that comes."
"Same here, Pony. Now, where do you want to go for today?
"I want to watch that new movie with dinosaurs. What word did it end with? Domination, Domain, Dukedom?"
"Pony, that movie doesn't come out until June."
"Oh yeah, that's right. How about we head to the fair today? I've done my part and saved us enough money for admission and snacks." Annie laughed in response to that.
"Well, we'll see about that. Remember, we got to ask Mom and Dad for permission."
"You got it, Annie. Ha, ha, ha, ha."
Pony and Annie indeed got permission to go to the fair. They had fun getting on much of the variety of rides that were there, including the Vomit Comet, the roller coaster Pony wanted to get on when Annie was sick, and he, George, and Helen ended up getting sick, while Annie got better. Their time there was a lot of fun. They also had some snacks to taste while they spent time at the fair. Later after that, Annie rode on Pony while he galloped away to get her back home. However, on the way, he occasionally saw public sales on puppies, baby rabbits, kittens, at one point he even saw juvenile snakes being sold. Something arose in his mind. He also remembered the fact that Annie had parents. He stayed silent for the rest of the way back at one point, although Annie didn't pay attention to that. Once they got home, Pony just stayed in Annie's bedroom, thinking to himself, although nobody asked about that.
Days had passed, the day after that, Pony looked at a family album and saw photos to Annie when she was a lot more little, when she first met him, and the first time they had pizza. Something was slowly starting to haunt him, although he pretended to act normal. Nobody became more suspicious of his unusually silent and calm behavior that was growing. Today, it was June 19, Father's Day. The Bramleys were celebrating it with George in the living room, while Pony acted like he was enjoying it. Meanwhile, previously, a white woman with black hair in a white suit and pants was searching, running around the city for someone, she asked for directions to somewhere, she'd taken them from different people as she went along throughout the city. After so much time, she reached the apartment building where Pony was staying. She became happy. Pony presented his gift towards George, which to everyone's surprise, was a massage chair. It was the biggest gift that was wrapped, placed inside a box too, no less. George however, was flabbergasted. Apparently, Pony managed to build up and save enough money over time. George almost half-excitedly hugged Pony. "Thank you, Pony." "You're welcome there, Dad." While no one paid attention, Pony dropped his act and became emotionally troubled, since the mention of "Dad" got to him in a bad way. Annie and Helen went elsewhere, while George went to the living room. Despite his different anatomy, he helped George out in moving it to the living room. But then, George thought to himself if he should move it to the living room. Pony soon thought of that thing that troubled him. George thought on for 7 more minutes, not paying attention to Pony darting his eyes left and right. "Uh, Dad?" George's attention was brought. "Huh? What?"
"I want to ask you something. I know today's a day that's all about dads, but so, apparently, I was brought to Annie as a foal. I think you're the best dad ever, even though you don't have a lot of respect for me, lots of times. I saved and I bought the massage chair for you regardless. I have a heart of gold. But-" He breathed in and then out. "-do you know who my birth parents are? My equine parents?" Everyone became surprised from hearing this. "Where are they? What are their names?" Everyone was silent for 3 minutes. "I'm surprised you'd ask that, Pony. You basically haven't asked that pretty much all of your life."
Pony darted his eyes to the left and was silent for 5 minutes. He looked at George again. "No, then. I'm asking now. Who are they? Where did I come from?" George's mouth was dropped, everyone was speechless. The parents didn't know how to answer it. Finally, George spoke up. "Listen, Pony. Actually, I don't know who your birth parents were. I don't know where they came from. When Helen and I first got you as a foal, you came from an animal rescue facility, somewhere in Montana. The owner there, Mark Robinson, had his facility give out dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, rodents, even equines to new homes. We came there while we were on a casual trip we were invited to by a friend of mine, at Helen's insistence. Then, I saw it up ahead, as I was driving the rental car. I saw the facility. I remembered Annie, I remembered how she wanted an animal pal of her own. I became curious. As we approached the facility, I saw you near a fence with full-grown, bigger horses. Now my attention was beginning to get more drawn. We spoke with the owner about you, got a look at you and after a lengthy process of signatures on paperwork, you officially had gotten a new home. Later on, we'd bring you back to our apartment. It wasn't easy trying to find someone else to take care of you in the meantime until the trip was over."
"Does Mark know my birth parent's names?"
"Actually, I randomly asked that question, and I randomly asked where your parents are. On a side note, a lot later I randomly watched a news story that Mark retired and was replaced by a completely different owner, Victor Pine. But unfortunately, he doesn't know. I asked him so myself. He said your parents weren't on facility grounds at all. In fact, Mark found you, bizarrely, somewhere in the city, all alone, holding yourself in an alley, dirty, helpless, emotionally broken, and miserable. Pony, at your age, I'm sorry to say this but, I don't think they're alive. I don't think you'll ever see them." He said gently. Pony dropped his mouth slowly and stopped midway. Suddenly, the door was knocked on. George came over, joined by everyone else, and he opened the door, and the woman searching the city was present. "Hello, are you George-*gasp*-it's you. You're Pony!" The woman exclaimed excitedly. "Uh, can I help you ma'am?" Pony asked in confusion mixed with an upset, but harmless tone. "You're Pony. Of the Bramley family. I've heard a number of good things about you. Now, do you or do you not have a job? Well I've got something even more promising. My name is Dr. Charlotte Bynes. Here's my card." She handed two of them with her workplace and her phone number to the parents. "Now Mr. and Mrs. Bramley, I've got a proposition for Pony here. I want him to start working at the city's department for emotional support through animals. And I promise you Pony, since you're at a level of certain human traits, you're getting paid. What do the three of you say?"
"Huh?" Everyone else asked surprisedly.
A/N: The Nicktoons are in trouble on the channel, Nickelodeon. They need a cartoon. A cartoon and creator who can serve as the John Connor for the Nicktoons, against the executive's Skynet of the company. The executives have committed judgment day against one too many Nicktoons, Catscratch was one of them. I'll have you know I'm quite behind on the show a lot. It doesn't help that Paramount Plus doesn't have the show at all (among other Paramount related content like Rango, the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show, and Catscratch for example). The latest general episode I saw, in terms of episodes that were aired, was Bramley Holiday, so there's not a lot of facts in-universe that I don't know about the show. I give credit to Blazingstarze for short on Twitter for saying that Pony is an emotional support animal. I saw that post a long time ago. One can hope I have a comparatively easier time working on this story, than on my two Loud House series. Don't expect me to do great, or even very good with the humor here. Comedy is harder to achieve than drama. This story will also be visually portrayed in tradigital animation (cel animation mixed with computer models). Also, the Pony in the cover art crossing the log, and not the one in a faded overlay, is actually Pony as a foal. Sorry I didn't make him look like a foal. Stay tuned after June.
