Just because they don't have any special arc Doesn't mean they're not relevant. If anything they're here to help the world building and set things up for the next arc. Which I'm still brain storming on how I'm going to go about it.

Chapter 10: A Fox's tale; Siblings

Greece, Ilios, Daytime

Near a cliffside area Naruto, Marie, Myucel, Kim, Mash, Olette, Peanc, and Kilt, a few youngsters of the Land of Eddie, mainly Ayane, Tsuru, Hoki, Wasabi, and surprisingly enough Kim's new friend Kaoru were on the beach having fun with them playing volleyball, jet skiing, swimming underwater, or looking for seashells on the beach.

They arrived here yesterday from Twilight city, it had been a 3 days since the black dragon incident. Naruto, Ryu, and Tsuru were able to defeat the greater fiends and Joe and Magreta captured the Tschikage Onoki. With the crisis averted Joe wanted the young ninjas to take it easy for a while meaning, with their efforts being focused on repairing their village. Since the city got mostly destroyed by the earthquake schools that were damaged are closed Peanc, Olette, Kilt and Kaoru were out of school for the unforeseeable future. And with them is Hayner's sister Fischl(Genchi impact) who was right now aiming a water squirter at Naruto who knew what she was doing but pretended not to notice.

"Ahhhh!" Naruto screamed. He was wearing black swim trunks with an Orange hoodie with his goggles on top. "I'm hit, I'm hit! Good bye cruel world!" Naruto said falling on the sand playing dead.

Fischl a girl around 13 who had shoulder length blonde hair and green eyes wearing a purple one piece swimsuit held a blue water gun was eyeing the other kids. "Who's next!"

Every one who doesn't want water in their face run!" Hoki yelled out as everyone ran about.

Everyone but Ayane who was wearing a 2 piece was on a hilltop near the beach under an umbrella laying down while watching from the side as everyone runs around with the 13 year old running after them.

"Not going to go down there and play with them?" Ayane turned her head to see Theresa wearing a black one piece.

"Nah, I not good with the whole playing dead thing." Ayane answered. "Speaking of which is it really ok for us to be doing this? I mean the adults are all working hard to repair everything that was destroyed during the 3 way attack and not to mention what happened In the land of wind during the Chunin exams."

"Ayane sweetie you need to learn how to appreciate the free time that you have. Everyone agreed to let you kids go on this trip. You should enjoy yourself Before the next big threat comes along." Theresa said before noticing something down on the beach. "Speaking of which looks like the new girl Kaoru is trying to make a move on Naruto."

"What?" Ayane said surprised. She looked down to see Kaoru having a conversation with Naruto who stopped playing dead. "What are those two talking about?"

"Don't know, why don't go down there and find out." Theresa teased.

Ayane despite not wanting to act on jealousy was just too curious and jump down from the cliff and walked over to Naruto just as Kaoru was walking away.

"Hey Ayane, I was wondering when you finally come down from that cliff." Naruto said.

"Well I thought I come down to join in on the fun. By the way what were you and Kaoru talking about?" Ayane asked.

"Not much, she just wanted to make small talk. She also wanted me to come with her to an Arcade, According to Kim shes a huge gaming otaku." Naruto answered.

"Did she just ask him out?!" Ayane yelled in her thoughts. "What did you say?"

"Oh, well obviously I said, Incoming!" Naruto yelled out as he and Ayane were squirted by Fischl.

"Got you again Naruto and you too Ayane!" Fischl said victorious.

"Going down again!" Naruto said falling on to the beach.

"Your not actually expecting me to play possum do you?" Ayane said before looking at Fischl who was giving her the poppy dog look. "...Fine." Ayane said before pretending to fall.

Japan, Chugoku Region, Okayama

In a well known restaurant named Ippudo a fox Demi human was eating while drinking sake, eating with him was a cat demi human cat girl.

A waitress came over to ask if they wanted anything else as well to ask if they were a couple.

"Heak No! He's my Brother!" The cat girl said confusing the waitress.

"We're Adopted same mother." The fox boy said to un confused the waitress. "Also more pork lomen please."

"Yes sir." the waitress said before leaving.

"You could have just said no to her question, you didn't need to blab out we were siblings Manatabi." The Fox said.

"Sorry about that Kurama slip of tongue." Manatabi said. This was none other than the Two tailed Fire Cat and the Fox Demi human was the legendary Nine tailed Fox.

"Nah don't sweat it. More importantly how long do you expect that Bull fish will keep us waiting? It's been 30 minutes since we got here, and He's the one that asked us to meet here."

"Show some patience, Gyuki wouldn't have asked us out here if it wasn't important, Besides hes the one paying for all this." Manatabi said. "So how's life outside a cage and living in a city without you destroying it." The Cat teased the Fox.

"Not bad at all. It's great to finally be able to stretch my physical legs again, and the Kit's home town was very entertaining, too bad the rock ninjas had to damage it." Kurama said. "How about you, your vessel Yugito and her young companion?"

"Yugito has settled in really well, She's now one of the new Instructors of the ninja district. As for Samui she actually quit being a ninja and enrolled in the mage district, Now that she's no longer under the expectations of her family she wants to try new things. They don't say it out loud but they are worried about the cloud village and more importantly how Omoi is doing." Manatabi said.

"The Cloud is going on as normal and Omoi is doing ok and thinks about them a lot too." Someone said as they came through the door.

The person in question was a tall muscular male with brown skin with a black leather jacket and pants and a yellow shirt with the symbol of 8 on it underneath, he had Brown puffy hair and a go tea with bullhorns sticking out of his head. "Sorry I'm late everywhere I went people wanted to take a picture, like they'd never seen a guy with bull horns before."

"Well It's definitely been a few decades since I've seen you Gyuki but then again The last time I did you got one shouted by that Weather Goddess." Kurama said chuckling a bit.

"You Really had to bring that up? I'm still getting chills just thinking about that time!" Manatabi said remembering they're short encounter with the storm spirit Yamai.

"Sorry, Just couldn't resist the urge to rub that little detail in." Kurama said.

"Well I gotta say from a second look you really have ease down a lot Kurama." Gyuki said getting an agitated look from the Fox. "I mean that in a good way. To think you would freely give advice to your Jinchuriki and teach him the basics of how to spirit band, knowing full well how effective it is to spiritual beings including creatures like us."

"You know he's right. You basically gave him something that he could use against you." Manatabi said.

"The Kit's a mage he would have discovered It's sooner or later. Besides it was the most effective way to stop that haft blood of Zeus. Speaking of which, what ever happened to those sisters?" Kurama asked Gyuki.

"Well as you know after the battle between them they left the area to escape the Cloud before they had a chance to pursue them. They went to the museum to take back all of Mei's stuff that was donated there. It took us a little while but me and Bee found them and offer them a place where they could go. Mei and Thalia were very skeptical but the Yamai twins could sense Bee's sincerity and convince the other 2 to agree."

"And where is that place exactly?" Manatabi asked.

"A place not so different from where me and Bee finally became friends." Gyuki answered.

"Is Ay trying to Capture them? Yugito herd a rumor about the cloud village still looking for them? I doubt it's for anything friendly though." Manatabi said.

Gyuki signed a bit. "Unfortunately yes he is. After seeing how powerful Yamai is he sees her as the ultimate threat to the village and must be captured, Not to mention Mei and Thalia know vital information that could be dangerous in the wrong hand. Not that they would do it considering they still care about the land of lightning but Ay would never take a chance like that."

"Well enough about the storm sisters, let get down to what we really need to talk about." Kurama said as the atmosphere became more serious."What all do we know about this Akatsuki, their goals, and the whereabouts of the others."

The 3 tailed beast were all silent before the 8 tail broke the silence. "Well we already know the situation with Shukaku, he's alive and still with his host but very very weak. Going by the Intel I eavesdropped from the cloud ninjas it seems Isobu has finally Reformed himself after his last host died, most sightings of him are around the islands of the land of sea down South. As for Saiken his host went Rogue during the bloodline war in the land of water, There's little bits of information as to they're whereabouts but it's highly speculated that hes in the beast continent past the land of water."

"The Beast man Countries you say, well that's like looking for a very unique slug in a very big garden." Manatabi said getting her brother's attentions. "During the Chunin exam Karin a very talented sensory type said she encountered a girl during the 1st stage of the exam who had a monstrous level of Chakra who was from the waterfall village, Although she wasn't there during the 3rd part of the exam. I think she might have encountered. Chōmei and his host."

"Lucky 7, the one that got away." Kurama said.

"He along with Shukaku were sold to the Sand village but he managed to escape when his first Jinchuriki lost control and died, They were unable to capture him and the Senju that captured all of us the 1st died not that long ago so people considered him lost forever." Gyuki replied.

"I heard the sand suffered great humiliation for losing one of their 2 tail beast. Guess that's why they kept such a shorter lease on Shu. Back to what I was saying before coming here I try to look into this girl only to find out that she's currently missing." Manatabi said.

"You think that group of rogues got em? Because I haven't felt any type of distress from him." Gyuki said wandering. .

"It's possible another group got them." Kurama said grabbing their attention. "I know where Son Goku and Kokōu are."

"Really Where?!" Gyuki and Manatabi asked.

"Son's new host, and Kokōu's have been taken by The court of silence." Kurama said causing the other 2 to tense up.

"I've been hearing that name a lot lately. first they went after the Land of Water and destroyed the Mist Village and now they've set their site on the Land of Earth and the Rock Village. You think they would seek out our power as well?" Gyuki replied.

"I don't think so." Kurama said confusing both his siblings. "We're able to feel or sense each others presence and emotions and I haven't felt even a ounce of distress from either Son or Kokōu. Something tells me the court wasn't aiming to control their power but just remove them from the equation."

"You might be right, they didn't make any move towards Shukaku or us." Manatabi replied. "So what do we know about this Akatsuki group that are after us?"

"Not much, they're a group of rogue criminals. No one knows the size of this group or its main goal. But honestly I'm hoping that it's just a group of Thugs trying to become more powerful with forces they don't understand." Kurama said feeling somewhat concerned.

Gyuki was also feeling the same before speaking. "I was hoping for the same thing, but we can't rule out the possibility that they may be trying to take our fragments of "IT" and trying to take control of IT's power?"

This put a face of dread on the 2 tails. "That would be impossible, That would mean they would be after the other 4 as well, But the only people that would would know about IT are the 13 of us, our Mother and the Sage. Also that Crisis happened way too long ago for anyone who possibly knew to remember."

"I know that but like I said we can't completely rule it out. Which leaves the question whatever happened to the four nameless or if they're still the nameless." Gyuki replied before looking at Kurama. "Speaking of which when Exactly did the nameless Delinquent you merged with separate from you?"

"Huh? What's he talking about Kurama?" Manatabi asked.

"A whole lot of decades ago I ran across one of our 4 nameless siblings who was acting up. They still had not yet achieved their full form and lack the restraint. So to keep them out of trouble I Absorbed them into myself, although it worked it had some Uninticipated side effects which you two could probably guess." Kurama replied.

"Oh! So that's why you were so much bigger and angrier all that time." Manatabi said getting the picture. "So what exactly happened that turned you back to normal?

"Kit's father the 4th Hokage used the Reaper Death Seal to split my power in two and Sealed heft into himself the other into Naruto, but what really happened was that he sealed the Nameless Delinquent into himself."

"So it's sealed inside the 4th Hokage's corpse." Gyuki said. "Well It's ether sealed in the dark realm or it reformed somewhere else." (Hey, in my world there's a darkness realm similar to one in KH. It's not the afterlife but just a land of darkness and dark matter. When someone uses reaper death seal they go to dark world Instead of the afterlife, remember this cause it will be important later.)

"I thought that as well but not so much anymore." Kurama said with Gyuki asking why. "I've come across someone in Kit's past that may hold the answer but I need more information."

Manatabi was in deep thought before speaking. "If this Organization really is after "that" then maybe we should tell our host and their allies." This surprised both the Fox and the Ox.

"I would agree to that Manatabi, but that would mean revealing information that Mother and the Sage wanted desperately to stay hidden." Gyuki replied. "Who and what they were as well as the destructive power that they bestowed upon us. When we discovered that the majority of mankind thought of us as the 9 tailed beast not knowing of the other 4 we decided to keep it that way." Gyuki may trust Bee but he doesn't trust Ay at all. His distrust of others and dislike for abilities out of his control led him to disrupt powers of other countries which resulted in giving him a bad reputation and scorn from other villages which he does not care for but can be harmful in regards to forming alliances with other factions, he can understand Ay's need for security and can somewhat respect his ambition of wanting to protect the cloud village no matter what. But the Questionable means and means of intimidation paints him too much of a high possible enemy than a cooperative ally.

"What do you think, Kurama?" Manatabi asked.

"Like I said I'm still looking into some things that may be connected to all of this." Kurama replied thinking about Nowaki being a steel humanoid that has conquerors Haki and Yuyake that has a familiar presence to him. "As much as I've been avoiding going back to the land of fire, I'll need to interact with the Senju to Confirm my suspicions. As for the dome head It would be dangerous to confront him without knowing more about him. So I may have to go to the leaf and start digging into this Menma's history." Kurama was pulled out of his thoughts when he noticed Manatabi and Gyuki looking at him. "I don't want to say anything until I'm certain. Let's save it for next time when we have more information to go on and there's more of us. So while I'm doing that I'll see if I can make contact with Son and Possibly learn something of Kokōu's situation.

"Fine while you're looking into your leads I'll go to the land of sea and find Isobu then look for Saiken." Gyuki said.

"Good to know I'll go find Chōmei and his host, and while I'm at it I'm going to see if I can find out anything about our remaining nameless siblings. Speaking of which I might know where one of them are, and they might not be a nameless anymore." Manatabi explained.

"Really? What's his form?" Kurama asked.

"Believe it or not a Dinosaur." Manatabi said trying not to laugh.

"Oh great just what we need, a lizard in the family. Where are they?" Kurama asked.

"Possibly also In the beast man continent." Manatabi replied as she began to notice that the restaurant was beginning to get packed. "Ok I think that's enough deep discussion for now let's finish eating and go to a popular Japanese inn now!" Manatabi said ready to have fun.

"Sure, let me get the check." Gyuki replied asking one of the waitresses over.

A Japanese Inn, Nighttime

Kurama was setting in a old fashioned Japanese room wearing a robe enjoying watching a Japanese game show while drinking Japanese Liquor. "I can Never make sense of these game shows humans create, Yet can't help but see how entertaining they are."

"Having fun, Kurama?" A voice said from next to the fox.

"Depends on how you Describe fun Saoirse." Kurama said acknowledging the presence of Naruto's Guardian spirit an aquatic Celtic guardian siren. Considering they both share a connection to Naruto they to share one with to each other. "So what brings you here? Shouldn't you be with Kit?"

"Naruto is with friends so he does not need me to watch over him right now. Besides I'm more curious about the conversation you had with your two Siblings." Saoirse spoke seriously.

"I'm pretty sure you were already listening in on most of that conversation."

"Yes I was, But I mean about the parts that you didn't tell them. Mainly about Nowaki, You didn't even mention at all about his similarities to your mother." Saoirse questioned.

"Like I told them, I don't want to say anything until I'm sure about my suspicions. Besides if it is what I suspect best to keep it quiet until I know of a good way to explain it." Kurama answered.

"What you Suspect? Okay, now I'm really curious of what you're hiding. Who and what was Kaguya? Clearly she was a steel human from new foundation. But how and why was she In the elemental nations, And what is her connection to the country's history and more importantly towards whatever "it" you tail beast are so so cautious about?" Saoirse asked more questions.

"I Can't! Tell You Yet!" Kurama said Leaking out his red Chakra before quickly regaining his control. "Look, I don't want to say anything until I'm certain. And I know if I tell you anything you will in some way or form tell Naruto, And the thing is he wouldn't know what to do about it. Even if it's just a suspicion this could change everything, and more people will be in danger. Especially the wood style kid."

Saoirse was token aback by this. She then realized something. "Your... trying to protect Nowaki."

"Why would I protect the Senju kid? I Barely even know of him. Plus I hate his clan almost as much as I hate the Uchiha clan." Kurama said grabbing the bottle of liquor and chucking most of it down before getting up to head for the bed room.

"Kurama we're not done talking." Saoirse said.

"Well I am, I'm done talking about this." Kurama said sounding annoyed.

Saoirse seeing this sighed as she got up and went over to Kurama and hugged him from behind while pressing her chest on his back. "Okay, I get it. This is more personal to you then you want to say and I'm sounding quite annoying. So why don't I... Entertain you tonight." Saoirse spoke clearly in his ear.

Kurama who was feeling unrestraintful, Annoyed, and under the influence of liquor that his sister brought over that was strong enough to affect him, basically he was feeling drunk. Began to curl his tail around Saoirse. "You know Saoirse that the moment I get my claws on you I won't be able to restrain myself. Meaning you won't be going anywhere until morning." Kurama stated.

"Its Bee! Someone is attacking him in the Cloud village! It's... No! How can it be!?" Gyuki said In disbelief.

"Gyuki! Speak clearly, what's going on!?" Kurama inquired.

"My Consciousness is being pulled back to Bee and the seal. We're being attacked by 2 Akatsuki members." Gyuki replied before looking at Kurama. "Kurama, I'm leaving for now. If you don't hear from me in 24 hours I need you to go and look for Isobu and Saiken for me! Remember the locations I told you about!"

"Fine, But make sure you win so I won't have to." Kurama replied.

Gyuki nodded before looking towards Manatabi. "I need you to inform Yugito that Bee is under attack. He's at his usual place, Omoi is with him."

"Okay I will! But can you leave tell me what I'm doing something about the people that are attacking you?"

"A Sniper with an eye patch and He's with a man with white hair and..." Before he could finish his sentence he disappeared.

"Gyuki!" Manatabi yelled in dismay.

"Manatabi! There's no time to waste, Go to your host and tell her what you heard. The Akatsuki already making its next move."

"What about you?" Manatabi asked.

"I'm not waiting 24 hours I'm going back to the elemental nations and start looking for Isobu." Kurama replied.

Greece, Ilios, Morning, Theresa's Villa

Naruto was Just waking up and getting out of bed to look out the window before going over to a coffee machine to make himself coffee. He noticed that there was someone else in his bed and figured it was either Kim, Marie, or Myucel. But when that person turned around to his shock it was Ayane. "Ok! I know I don't drink but I have no idea how she ended up here last night. Oh wait now I remember...Oh Kami." Last night Theresa brought chocolates Ayane accidentally ate the ones that contained a very strong alcohol and got a bit tipsy at least that's what he thought at first. A lot of their group was still out and about so Naruto decided to take her back to her room.

FlashBack

We go back to last night where Naruto takes Ayane to her room and lay her down on the bed. "Wow Those chocolates must have packed quite a punch. Anyway hope you feel like yourself in the morning." Naruto said preparing to leave.

"Your just gonna leave just like that?" Ayane said laying up. He was wearing a black T-shirt with her swimsuit underneath looking at Naruto red cheeks signifying she was drunk.

"Well what else would I do? I mean I have my own room and I kind of said Video games with Kaoru so-"

Ayane suddenly got up and hugged and bit his left ear which sent a chill through his system. "Why don't you stay here with me instead? I'm sure we can have way more fun together than you and that new girl. Why not just said the clone, She'll never know the difference." Ayane said not loosening her grip while whispering into Naruto's ear.

"Ok, Clearly you are not thinking straight Ayane, How about you let me go and I let you rest and get the alcohol out your system." Naruto said trying to reason with the purple hair is girl and tried to get out of her grip.

"No!" Ayane said pulling Naruto closer. This caused them to lose their balance and fall on the floor with Naruto on top of her.

She stared up at him all misty eyes as he collected his thoughts. "Okay I now know never to go out drinking with you, you're acting like Kim with Myucel's stubbornness. But anyway let's get you back on the bed." Naruto said holding her up bridal style.

As he was about to place her on the bed she stopped him by placing her right hand on his chest. "Am I cuter when I act like that?" Ayane asked.

"Huh?" Naruto asked confused by her statement.

"Would you hang out with me more if I was more outgoing like Kim, and honest like Myucel?" Ayane began snuggling her head closer to his chest. "Would you like me more if I let you touch and dominate me like you do those two? I don't really mind, I don't think I need a clone anymore." Ayane continued a drunken blush on her face as she looked at him with her red eyes.

Naruto was taken aback by this and not sure how to respond. "Well ah... Ayane, I don't think this is the right time for-"

Ayane In response rapped her arms around Naruto's neck. "Please! We can do whatever you want! I just can't take this anymore and I don't want to be alone like this! We like each other don't we?! You remember everything we've done together don't you?!" Ayane said clinging tightly to the blonde.

"Ayane, I" Naruto began. He knows this was the alcohol bringing out her inner feelings but to go off of the moment like this could lead to an awkward moment in the morning that mainly too difficult.

"No." Ayane said focusing his attention back on her and she looked up at him painting slightly indicating that she was in the moment. "I know we don't like each other, we're already past that, We love each other don't we? So there should be no problem with you taking me like this, would it?"

"I..." Naruto said before he sighed and lean his head forward to tach Ayane's. "I guess it was gonna to happen sooner or later. But if you don't mind I would like to take this to my room considering your sharing one with Kasumi." Naruto said walking out with Ayane still in his arms.

"Hey, What's with you and Kaoru?" Ayane asked confusing Naruto. "I know you're a sociable person but something just instantly clicked the moment you met her."

"Jeez first Kim and now you? She just has a very friendly aura around her and she shares a similar hobbies to myself." Naruto said. Kaoru likes to video games and gardening. He never told anyone but his old friend Hideki Uchiha the younger sister of Sishui Uchiha was someone that introduced him to gardening and he introduced her to video games when she died he latched on to that hobby.

"Is that all?" Ayane said even though she was drunk she tried to prove more information.

Naruto responded by kissing her which she immediately returned before they separated. "So that's it, You were feeling jealous weren't you? How cute." Ayane went silent with a pout. "Don't feel embarrassed I love seeing your cute side."

Naruto looked at Ayane wondering if She'll remember what they did last night. just then someone knocked on their door. He answered it and it was none other than Kaoru wearing a yellow short sleeve flower shirt and knee length slim black shorts. "Oh Kaoru, good morning."

"Is that all you can say after you bailed on me last night?" Kaoru said looking a bit upset.

Naruto came to realize that he forgot to send a clone last night. "Oh my sorry! It completely slipped my mind. I'll make it up to you tonight." Naruto said surprising even himself with his statement. He wouldn't feel this bad about it.

Kaoru smiled. "That's great! Kim and the other girls are going on a shopping spray with Theresa and Kasumi is looking for Ayane to see if she'll come. I already told them I would be busy. So why not spend the day with me? There's a Botanical garden In the next town over. If we hurry we might be able to catch the bus to take us there. Then Maybe later we can go to an arcade."

"The Next town over? That's seems pretty far and what if someone sees us they might get the wrong idea." Naruto said nervously.

"You can't?" Kaoru said looking sad.

"Well It's not like it's a data anything it's just 2 friends going out enjoying all the sites. Just give me a minute and I'll get ready." Naruto said closing the door to get ready.

"That good to hear! I'll be waiting downstairs." Kaoru said walking away. "It'll be just like old times."

For those who were hoping for a double lemon trying to make there 1st time as good and provocative as possible. But it will be worth to wait.

Also about the tailed beast And there being 13 I got the idea from Kingdom Hearts about the 13 primal darkness, Well think of this as the 13 primal dark matters. And no the other for don't have the tail thing that will be explained later. I'm going a different route and redoing a lot of things. Mainly surrounding the sage of 6 paths and Kaguya. My ninja history will be much more complex but it will make sense. So bear with me. It might give you some hints on whats to come.

Anyway next time will be split between Naruto and Kaoru's outing and facing an Unexpected surprise to Gyuki and Bee dealing with unexpected guests of their own.
