I just now realized Jane Grey is a name of one of the X-Man characters. I didn't copy it Jane is female version of James (wel one of the options) and it sounded great. Grey was surname choose because of the eyes I give her. In my country when surnames were invented they were based on what the head of the family was doing as occupation or his looks or his personality. So that's why. Sorry if it looked like I was coping the name.
Anyway here's the next chapter.
Chapter 2
Loki had appear out of nowhere and took away Teserakt and one of Fury's best agents while destroying SHIELD's base. They needed to find Loki and Teserakt before he call whole army and take over the planet.
They need people who are able to fight Loki. They need Avengers.
Which is why agent Coulson is trying to convince a certain mercenary to join Avengers.
"And what will come out of it for me," Coulson was watching as Nora, no Kennedy, was punching the dummy. She is a beautiful young woman. Her face look so innocent he nearly forgot who she is. However he was quick reminded of that when she took off her jacket. He could see many scars on her arms and shoulders. A nasty feeling seattle in his stomach.
"Double what we usually pay you and you can spend Natasha's day off with her." He knew that will work. If it was only the money she would surely refuse, but day with her best friend was too tempting.
"All right I'll take it. What am I supposed to say to my family?"

With Kennedy on the Helicarrier. Black Widow and Dr. Banner on way. Tony Stark, who will show up who knows when. We only need to get Steve Rogers.
Coulson was waiting for him. He was so excited he couldn't wait. When he came Coulson tried to hide his excitement, but he wasn't doing good work judging by Rogers' reaction.
"We have another member for team, but you don't have her filed there." Coulson pointed to tablet Rogers was holding.
"When will I meet with her?" Rodgers asked.
"Once we land. She be will probably waiting on ramp." Coulson replied and Rogers nodded.
Once they landed they met with Dr. Banner and agent Romanoff. Kennedy was nowhere to be seen.
"She is inside," Natasha said.
"I want to meet with her. What can you tell me about her?" Rogers asked.
"You will know once you meet her." Natasha answered.
Rogers looked at Banner who was equally confused.
They made their way on the bridge. Fury greeted them. Natasha join a women with black shoulder length hair with wolf cut. They started to chat at Russian and ware looking out the window turned backwards to them.
"Is that the another member?" Rogers asked Fury.
"Yes," Fury answered.
"Is she one of your agents?"
"No, she's mercenary. Her code name is Nora."
Dr. Banner inhaled sharply.
"You know her?" Fury asked surprised.
"Yes, we met two times. First nearly three years ago and second around a year ago." Dr. Banner said looking at the brunette woman.
"Stop chatting like high school girls and introduce yourself." Fury called out.
Both women stopped talking and turned around.
Rogers couldn't stopped himself and blurred out. "Kennedy?!"
Banner looked at him surprised.
"Hello Steve. Does your back still hurts?" she asked concern.
He looked stunned. "Why are you here?"
"Fury is paying me." She said in matter of fact voice. "Let me introduce myself. My name is Kennedy Jane Grey, aka mercenary Nora. I've been working for SHIELD for last few months."
"How? How can let you do this?!" he was angry. "You shouldn't do this, your just a child. Does your grandfather knows about this?" he was really angry but tried to keep calm.
"That is non of your business," she said coldly.
He was about to protest but Fury cut him of.
"Are you done?" asked Fury annoyed.
"Yes, sir." they both answered clearly not done.
"Good. agent Romanoff, can you show Dr. Banner to his lab." Fury turned to Natasha.
"Yes, sir." she answered. "Come on doctor, I'm sure you'll love it. You have all kind of toys there." Natasha was said as she walked away with Dr. Banner on her heels.
"Sir, we found him," called one of the agents.
"Where is he?" Fury asked.
"In Germany, Stuttgart."
"Good. Rogers, Grey suit up." He ordered.
"Yes, sir," they answered.
...
Later
They meet with Natasha on the ramp. Rogers was in his Captain America uniform. Kennedy had her usual mercenary outfit with small modification like American flag and SHIELD logo on sleeves.
Soon they were on their way.
In the jet Natasha and Kennedy were happily chatting in Russian. While Steve was sending them wary glances.
Once they reach their destination Steve had to save an elderly citizen. Kennedy in mean time sneak behind Loki. Natasha pointed all jet's guns at Loki and spoke to him.
"Loki put the staff down and rise your arms. You have nowhere to run. Give up."
But Loki didn't listen, instead he fire an energy blast at her. Then he engaged in fight with Captain America.
At first they were exchanging punches, which give Nora time to evacuate the citizens. Loki was slightly better than Captain, but Captain wasn't holding back either.
When Nora successfully evacuate everyone Captain was send flying. Before Loki could lay his hands on Captain again she attacked him. She thrown a punch at his face but he blocked it with a staff. He threw punch her however she cough his first then she puled a move from aikido and twisted his arm. Because of pain he fall on the ground. She was about to knock him out when a blast of energy thrown her away. Loki stood up and was pointing his staff at her.
In that moment Iron Man decided to show up. When he showed up an ACDC music. Very loud music. He shot Loki with energy blast. Loki flew away and painfully land on the ground. When he looked up he saw various guns pointed at him. He surrender without any protests.
...
At the jet
Nora didn't stop staring at Loki since the start of flight. Something was wrong, he give up too easily. She didn't like the feeling.
Iron Man couldn't hold his questions in any longer.
"And how you are? Some marine? I didn't know military was involved." He grinned but Nora was ignoring him.
"What special abilities do you have? If you're in military you must be in some special unit. And if you're here you must have special powers." He was cut of by Loki speaking.
"You must be the second super soldier. The teenager who sell her abilities to higher price." Nora was starting at him, she didn't move a muscle. But Loki continued. "How does it feel to kill for money, to protect these who doesn't deserve it? Don't you want revenge on these how wrong you? You are waisting your skills in here. If you will work for me you can prove your worth, you can get revenge, you can be more than mere mercenary."
She was still staring. 'Is that what he wants me to do? Hell no! And what he knows about my past? Nothing! He talks about something he knows nothing about.' Her demeanor didn't change on outside but instead she was fuming like a child. Her eyes were dull and unreadable. She stood up walked to Natasha and sat in co-pilot seat.
"Oн раздражает. Когда я смогу выстрелить ему в лицо?(He's annoying. When can I shoot him in the face?)" She said as she saw Natasha's questioning look.
"Как только мы найдем куб.(Once we we find the cube.)" Natasha said amused.
Loki was about to speak again but was interrupted by a lightning.
"What's the matter? Scared of little lightning?" Steve asked.
"I'm not overly found of what follows."
As he finished a loud thud was heard from the outside. Iron Man put on his helmet and very unwisely opened the door.
A man with red cap got inside. He punch Iron Man with a hammer, took Loki and jump out.
"Another Asgardian?"Natasha asked.
Iron Man, who landed on Steve after the punch, got up and Steve followed.
"That guy's friendly?" Steve asked.
"That doesn't matter," Tony answered. "If he frees Loki or kills him the Teserakt is lost."
"Stark, we need a plan of attack."
"I have a plan attack." Tony said as he jump out.
Steve looked exasperated as he pick up a parachute.
"I'd sit this one out Cap." Natasha called out.
"I see how I can help."
"These guys come from legend they're basically gods."
"There's only one God ma'am and I'm pretty sure he doesn't dress like that." Cap took his shield and jump out.
Nora turned to her. "Are we gonna let them measure they're dicks or interfere, Nat."
"Let them be. Boys needs to play a little before they think straight, Kenny." she said. "Well, to our lesson 'how to pilote the jet'."
...
Meanwhile, with the 'boys'
Tony saw the two Asgardians on top of the hill. He decided to took down the red caped one first. Revenge time.
He throw Thor on the ground. As Thor stand up he said.
"Do not touch me again."
"Than don't take my stuff." Tony replied.
"You have no idea what you're dealing with."
"Ahh. Shakespeare in the park? Does your mother knows you wear her dress?"
"This is beyond you metal man. Loki will face asgardian justice."
"He gives up the cube he's all yours. Till then stay out of the way." He turned around but couldn't hold in one last remark. "Tourist."
Bad move. Thor threw his hammer at him. Tony was thrown at the tree, which give up under the pressure.
Meanwhile Loki was enjoying the show.
Thor was preparing for another strike. Tony quickly shot him with a blast. Thor got really angry and made a big lightning appear.
...
On the jat
"Is that a lightning," Kennedy asked.
Natasha looked up. "That doesn't seem natural," she commented. "I think we found the boys."
"Yeah. Maybe we should interfere." Kennedy said.
Natasha nodded.
...
With Loki
The fight was progressing and now Tony and Thor were beating the shit out of each other. That was until the Captain stopped them.
Loki was still sitting on the hill watching them. A shadow appear behind him, but he didn't notice. The shadow pointed a gun on his head.
"Held your hands up and stand up slowly." Nora said calmly.
Loki stiffened but did as he was told. Nora took him back to the jat where she tied him up again.
"Oни все еще воюют?(They're still fighting?)" She asked.
"Да.(Yes)" Natasha answered.
Meanwhile Thor was about to hit Cap with his hammer. Cap hid behind his shield. As hammer and shield met an airwave threw them all apart.
"Are we done here." Cap asked once they picked themselves up.

At the Helicarrier
The Average were scattered around the room. All looking at screen showing Fury talking to Loki. There was tension in the air. It didn't leave even after the footage turned off.
"He really grows on you doesn't he?" commented Dr. Banner.
"Loki's gonna drag this out. So Thor what's his play?"
"He has an army called the Chitauri. They are not from Asgard or any word known. He means to lead them against your people. They will win him the Earth in exchange, I suspect, for the Teserakt." said Thor.
"An army from outer space," said Rogers disbelievingly.
"He's building another portal. That's what he needs Erica Selvig for." said Dr. Banner.
"Selvig," asked Thor.
"He's an astrophysics," explain Dr. Banner.
"He's a friend," clarified Thor.
"Look. He has him under some kind of spell. With one of ours," interfere Natasha.
"I want to know why he let us take him. He's not leading an army from here."
Kennedy was observing everyone, probably forgotten by them. She could see everyone's reactions.
Natasha was uncomfortable talking about the spell. 'It must've been about Clint,' Kennedy nodded. Cap wanted answers, he has the same something's not right' feeling as her. Thor didn't know what his brother has in plan. And Dr. Banner doesn't want to be here.
If this is the team Fury was talking about they all are in a really deep shit.
Dr. Banner was saying something about Loki being crazy. He wasn't wrong in her opinion. Thor was defending his brother. But his defence was poor.
"Iridium. What they need iridium for," he asked.
"It's stabilizing agent," came from Stark, who entered the room with Coulson. They quickly discuss something before Stark continued. "Means portal will not collapse on itself like it did in SHIELD. No hard feelings Point Break you got mean swing," he said to Thor. "Also it can open as willed and stay open as long as Loki wants."
Kennedy tuned this mumbo jumbo out. She didn't really understand what he was saying. 'Should I call grampa?' she thought. 'Maybe I should contact aunty and uncle. I wonder how Alex and Jackie are doing.'
She sneezed. They quieted down and turned to her.
"Sorry," she said rubbing her nose.
"Who is this kid?" Stark asked.
"You don't recognize her?" Natasha asked.
"Well, she is kinda familiar. Were you in LA by any chance?"
"Yes, I was," Kennedy answered.
"Anyway, why are you here?"
"I was hired by SHIELD."
"Why would they hire, out of all people, a kid?" Tony exclaimed.
"I would like to know that too," Thor chimed in. "Even Asgardians are still in training at this age."
"I started a little early." she replied.
"Ms.Grey has been well known mercenary for years." Fury stated.
"How can a kid be mercenary?" Tony was frustrated.
"They never asked for my age. Besides you thought I'm part of the US military, back on the jat." Kennedy said deadpanned.
"Wait, what? That was you?" Now he looked surprised. Kennedy stood up. She was dressed in black T-shirt with camo pants and military styled boots. She put on her camo jacket.
He gathered his composure and acted as nothing happened. "Well looked at you. I thought you were a guy. Now I see why you cover your face. Guys wouldn't left you alone," he joked
Kennedy narrowed her eyes in suspicion. 'He's up to something.'
"Anyway," he turned to Dr. Banner. "Shall we play, doctor." They left. She was looking at Stark until he was out of sight. 'This won't be as easy as it sounded.'
