* One Day Later *
Callum was walking on a path through the forest with Rayla next to him wearing his red tank top and her having a bag on her back with Zym the Dragon princess. Callum looked at Rayla and smiled then said " Hey can we talk after we visit your home." Callum saw Rayla confused and heard "Why not know." Callum sighed then just said " Personal and don't want to say until after Silvergrove." Callum saw Rayla nod with a smile then they continued on.
Callum was walking along a path with Rayla next to him. Callum looked at Rayla and just smiled when he saw a wolf jump at Rayla. Callum tackled Rayla to the ground before the wolf could get her and saw the wolf jump above them. Callum turned as Rayla yelled " Callum what the hell." Callum just pointed at the wolf seeing the wolf five times the size of a normal one with red fur. Callum was surprised to see a wolf that size but he was in Xadia. Callum drew an arrow when he heard " Don't that is a blood wolf and they are huge, fast, strong and their skin is hard to pierce." Callum nodded as he stood up slowly with Rayla looking at the wolf as it looked at them.
Callum looked at the wolf as it jumped at them but before he could do anything he saw a blur above him and saw the wolf that jumped at them go to the ground. Callum looked at another blood wolf half the size of the first one. Callum just grabbed Rayla's hand and ran away.
Callum looked behind him as he ran, seeing both wolves after them, so he looked forward and said " They are fighting for us." Callum chuckled at that and then he looked behind seeing the bigger wolf getting closer. Callum looked forward as the bigger wolf jumped at him but he was tackled by Rayla. Callum wrapped his arms around Rayla as he rolled on the ground. Callum looked at him and Rayla rolled off a huge hole in the ground then he saw Rayla get one of her weapons and turn it to the hook. Callum saw Rayla put it on the cave wall and after a few seconds he looked up as Rayla held him by the hand. Callum looked around until he looked down and said " Let go I will be fine." Callum just looked up and saw Rayla nod then he felt Rayla let go. Callum looked behind him see the older wolf so he ran with Rayla then he grabbed a smoke bomb and throw it then fired a fire crystal arrow making the bomb explode. Callum then looked forward as he grabbed another fire crystal arrow as it illuminated. Callum then ran into the dark cave.
Callum stopped as he saw a huge spider and just said " Fucking hell." Callum went for his bow when the spider hit them, launching them back into the wall, knocking out Rayla." Callum looked up and just got up grabbing his bow and fired the arrow but the spider just swiped its leg knocking the arrow to the side. Callum sighed as he went into his bag and just sighed again feeling no smoke boom. Callum sighed then fired a normal arrow hitting the spider but just bounced off. Callum sighed and then jumped forward, dodging an attack from the spider. Callum tried to fire another arrow but had to dodge every time.
Ezran sat on the throne board out of his mind as the crow master read. Ezran looked at the doors hearing it open to see Corvus walk in and heard " Ezran the other kingdoms are here and request you for a chat." Ezran nodded then stood and walked to Corvus then walked through the castle to a room.
Ezran entered a room and saw the kings and queens of land one of them just a year older than him. Ezran walked to the table and said " I have been requested. Ezran saw one king nod and heard " Ezran my father has died to Moonshadow Elves Assassins and so has other's so I say we declare war." Ezran was shaken as the others agreed to one side but he shook his head and said " no." Ezran looked at the king and said " I refuse as peace can happen." " Peace, fucking peace, you should run a kingdom if you don't know what to fucking do." Ezran just sighed not caring when he heard " Your father would be disappointed." Ezran looked at the king and said yelling " You don't fucking talk about my father like that and this is only happening because of his fucking mistake of acting on his emotions so shut it and if anyone speaks of my father like that again I will have a sword put in you." Ezran was surprised as was everyone of what he said when he heard the eleven year old queen say " King Ezran I understand if we know of your brother's adventure with the elf and truth I can't speak bad about elves as I never had something personally happen to me with them."
Ezran nodded with a smile and then heard " Your right your father started this and it's surprising what happened to your father you don't hate Moonshadow elves. Ezran nodded and then heard " I also know what it's like to run a kingdom at a young age but I would like to know why." Ezran nodded then said " Before my return I was with a Shadowmoon elf with my brother returning the Dragon prince after Viren took it without my father's permission. We got help but once I heard of Viren taking the throne I returned trusting my brother and my friend." Ezran saw everyone shook then heard " You are no fucking king you betrayed your father." Ezran grew angry but put his hand up stopping Soren then said looking down " My father deserves what he got no matter how painful it is to admit but peace can happen." Ezran then looked up and said, slamming his hand on the table " You go to war with Xadia, my Army will be against yours and we both know Katolis' army could destroy yours any day." Ezran then looked at Aanya, queen of Duren and said " Queen Aanya, if war happens I would like to ask for your help but I understand if you don't and even after the war I would still like to be allies." Ezran then looked to every other king and said " And if this war happens and your kingdom survives we won't be allies and if I see the chance I will take your land."
Ezran closed the door to Soren and corvus behind him and he just sighed slumbing when he heard " For a ten your old king that was a huge threat. Ezran chuckled, then said looking at Soren " I know." Ezran just looked down when he felt a hand on his shoulder so he said " What I said about my father I…" Ezran was interrupted by Corvus hearing " Ezran Amaya told me that your father told her he regretted having the egg destroyed and shouldn't have had it done and he knew it was his fault so you are not disrespecting your father you're just respecting him." Ezran smiled then said " Thanks."
Callum grunted as he got up as he heard growling as he had for the past half hour the two wolves fighting. Callum looked at the spider seeing arrows all over the ground only having a few left in his quiver. Callum jumped forward, rolling something he had picked up from this fight and two of the three arrows falling out. Callum put his hand behind his back seeing he has no normal arrows, just one fire crystal arrow. Callum looked above the spider seeing a stalactite above its head. Callum grabbed his last arrow then aimed at the stalactite and fired.
Callum saw the arrow fly through the stalactite and it was enough as he saw it break off and fly down onto the spider's head. Callum looked at Rayla's body as the dragon princess stood on top of her growling at the spider. Callum smiled and just chuckled when he heard gowling behind him and saw the older blood wolf looking at him. Callum sighed but before he could do anything the wolf jumped at him pinning him to the ground.
Callum screamed as the claws of the wolf went into his shoulders. Callum looked at the wolf in the eyes when he saw a claw scratch on his neck, blood coming out. Callum brought his leg up and got his knife. Callum moved his arm and stabbed the knife into the cut making the wolf yelp and just a second later he saw the wolf be pushed off him. Callum looked at the younger wolf attacking the older one. Callum got up to be on one knee when he saw the younger blood wolf on the ground, the older one about to kill it. Before Callum realized it, Callum had charged the wolf and jumped on the back. Callum grabbed his knife with his other hand around the neck to hold on. Callum pulled out the knife then slammed it back in and did it over and over again.
Callum looked at the younger wolf seeing him slowly come towards him and Callum did nothing as he was exhausted. Callum feeled himself pinned to the ground by the wolf and saw him lower his face at him. Callum thought he was going to die but he just laughed as he felt the wolf lick his face and he laughed as the wolf did over and over again.
* Later That Night *
Rayla groaned as she raised her head when she saw a blood wolf and went for her weapons but heard " Rayla, don't the wolf won't attack us." Rayla looked at Callum seeing bandages around his shoulders as he wasn't wearing a shirt and just heard " The other wolf." Rayla nodded then sat up then got up. Rayla looked around, seeing a fire with the wolf by it and Callum sitting next to it. Rayla saw something pointy and sharp next to them and heard " That is something on the spider that was sharp. I took it having an Idea." Rayla nodded, then walked over to Callum and just sat down next to him and looked at the wolf and heard " Can we talk." Rayla nodded and looked at Callum and then said " Is this what you wanted to talk about after we visited Silvergrove?"
Callum nodded then got closer and said " Rayla when I thought I was going to die to the blood wolf I realized something." Callum looked at Rayla and said " Rayla your someone I care for deeply and I…" Callum stop talking not able to say it when he heard feeling Rayla's hand over his " Callum you don't need to be nervous what do you want to tell me?" Callum looked at Rayla and smiled then he placed a hand on her cheek and then slowly leaned in.
Rayla's eyes widened, feeling Callum kiss her and after a few seconds she saw him pull back. Rayla just looked at Callum as he rubbed his neck and heard " I really like you Rayla." Rayla just looked at him just shook as she felt the same way and she saw him about to speak and so she leaned in and kissed him. Rayla could feel how soft his lips are and she put a hand on his cheek feeling the smoothness of his skin. Rayla pulled back after a few seconds and said their faces only inches apart " I fe-eel the sa-ame-e way." Rayla heard Callum chuckle at her stuttering then she felt his lips again and she just closed her eyes and made out with him.
Callum pulled from Rayla and just smiled when he looked to his side seeing the wolf next to him so he said " Would you like to come with us." Callum saw the wolf get excited so he said " Now we need to name you and what about Lilly." Callum saw the wolf get happier with the name then heard " Lilly Jay Wilde." Callum looked at Rayla and heard " Well her name is Lilly we are in the wild and more specifically in the jay wild's home of the blood wolves." Callum nodded, then said looking at Lilly " Lilly Jay Wilde."
