Hatake Kakashi scooped up the beaten, battered form of his blonde student, quickly dashing back towards the village. His mind raced as he concentrated on only the road ahead of him.
"You can slow down, Hatake Kakashi," said a voice that was and was not Naruto's. Kakashi glanced down, and noticed that his student's eyes were not only opened, but were purple, which gave him momentary pause, before he kept on, though at a less breakneck pace. "You can guess who, or what I am, correct?" Not-Naruto asked, to which Kakashi nodded. "Good, that makes this much more simple. Right now, the kit is comatose, so I can better heal him. He should have won that fight. But he lost control of his emotions, pulled too hard on my chakra.. I failed him. I should have stopped him. This damned seal doesn't allow me enough control to do so, especially when we're already this close.." he said, growling lightly at himself.
Kakashi, meanwhile, was startled. Close? What did he mean by that? Has the Kyuubi been poisoning Naruto's mind? But Naruto hasn't changed, and it seemed like the Kyuubi cared about it's jailor's wellbeing. As Kakashi went to say something, he noticed that Naruto's body was once more unconscious, and simply shook his head and kept running.
