Chapter One

Forget what happens in the book! Just read the story!

Katie was a girl of about 18. She was one of the prettiest most have ever seen. She was intelligent, popular, and, best thing of all, she didn't let any of it get to her head. She was one of the sweetest people you could ever meet!

Katie studied hard. In school, and also in her favorite subject. The Lord Of The Rings. She absolutely loved it. She especially liked Legolas. Well, I guess she didn't "like" him, she LOVED him! But, anyway, Katie could speak all of the languages in the places from LOTR, and, she dressed just like an Elf would. Yes, she always admitted that she was a little bit obsessed. And, every night, she would stare at her ceiling and wish she could be in the Lord Of The Rings, as one of the Fellowship members. One night, she did her same routine before falling asleep in her same old monotonous world. She said her prayers, got in her recreation of Arwen's green dress in the third movie,and laid on her bed. She then said,

"Oh, how I would absolutely LOVE to be able to meet the Fellowship and join it! I just wish that I could! Oh, I know it is not possible, but I will keep on wishing!"

Then, after about 45 minutes, she drifted off into a vast dream land, which appeared to be Middle Earth. She woke up with a start, and was astounded at what she saw. It was her dream! She was in Middle Earth! Her wishing had paid off!

She started to walk around. She was in the middle of a forest. She kept walking and walking, amazed at everything she saw. She soon got out of the forest, but continued walking. Then she saw water, it was either an ocean or a river. She waded through it, and when she got across, she nearly fainted! She was in Rivendell! She walked to where she thought the Fellowship would be meeting, and, she was right. They were speaking in the common tong of their world, which she knew thoroughly. She slowly walked into the Fellowship, not thinking about what she was doing.

The Elves quickly stood up, not knowing who the mysterious person was. But then, everyone sat down, because this person didn't look like a threat. She looked like an Elf! Katie quickly realized how stupid she was to just walk right into the middle of the Fellowship like that. But, then she saw the Ring. It was tremendously beautiful. But, she remembered that it was supposed to trick anyone it could, and that it was an evil, and horrible thing to have. She quickly said in Elvish,

"I am sorry to barge in on you in on you in this important decision time. Please forgive me."

Everyone was captivated by her beauty. She was one of the most beautiful creatures they had ever laid eyes on, and Legolas was especially astounded. He stood up and said to her in Elvish,

"Oh, Fine maiden, you by no means have to be sorry, for it is an honor to meet you."

She replied,

"My honorable people, I have heard what it is that you want to do, and I would like to help as greatly as I can, please, allow me to join your Fellowship!"
