This story was thought up and dictated by my little niece and she hopes you like it, if you ask me it's pretty good, although I did have to help her a little with the typing and grammar. Other than that this is all her work.
One day in Bikini bottom, Spongebob was sleeping soundly when all of a sudden he felt something shaking his house. He went outside to see what it could be.
"Hmm, it looks like a giant hook got caught on my house, I'll have to get it down somehow." said Spongebob.
So Spongebob went over to Squidward's house to barrow a latter. He knocked on the door.
"Hello." said Squidward as he opened the door. He looked down to see it was none other than Spongebob. "Oh," said Squidward in disappointment "Is it time to ruin my day already?" he asked.
"Nah, I just wanted to barrow a latter." said Spongebob.
"Is that all, what are you planning to do?" asked Squidward in a suspicious tone.
"I have to get that hook off my house" replied Spongebob.
As soon as Spongebob got the latter he asked Squidward if he would care to help him, but Squidward just slammed the door in Spongebob's face.
Later on when he started to climb the latter, who should stop by but Spongebob's best friend Patrick Star.
"What'cha doin' Spongebob?" asked Patrick.
"I'm just getting this strange hook off my house." replied Spongebob.
Spongebob finally got the hook off his house when all of a sudden he noticed he was caught on it.
"AAAhhhh!" screamed Spongebob in terror. "I'm hooked, I'm hooked, Help somebody help."
But before anyone could come to the rescue the hook began pulling Spongebob closer and closer to the surface. When he got there he was pulled out of the water by a little girl.
"Eww, what's that!" asked the girl's friend.
"I don't know" replied the girl "It's kind of cute though." She said as she looked at the strange sea creature.
"I think I'll take him home and make him a pet." she said decidedly.
So the little girl put Spongebob in a plastic bag full of water, and took him home.
"Look, Hamtaro" said the little girl as she came over to his cage, "I caught him down by the lake, he's my new pet, I hope you make him feel at home, his tank will be right next to your cage." she said happily.
That night Spongebob was sitting all alone in his tank, just thinking of Bikini bottom and all his friends.
"Hey," said a voice, it seemed to be coming from the top of the tank, and he looked up to see a strange furry looking creature looking down at him.
"Hi, I'm Hamtaro, what's you're name" he asked.
"I'm Spongebob." He replied in a sad voice.
"What's wrong? don't you want to be Laura's pet?" asked Hamtaro.
"I want to go home to Bikini bottom!" exclaimed Spongebob as he burst out in tears.
"Poor guy" thought Hamtaro.
Meanwhile in Bikini bottom everyone was busy thinking of a way to try and find Spongebob and bring him back, much to the dismay of Squidward.
