I do not own Harry Potter.

Dear Harry,

How dare that man take Hagrid to Azkaban?! He's only doing it to make it seem like he's doing something!

How dare Lucius Malfoy get rid of Dumbledore?! Hagrid's right. The only way he could have gotten the rest of the governors on board would be to threaten and blackmail them! If Draco hadn't already confessed, then I wouldn't have any trouble believing Lucius had something to do with the chamber; he's certainly taking advantage of it.

I'm so sorry about Hermione, but I'm thankful it was just petrification. It could have been so much worse.

Be careful,

Love,

Mum and Dad

Dear Mum and Dad,

Ron and I followed the spiders last night. We saw them heading into the forbidden forest during a herbology class, and that night we followed them. We had gone pretty far into the forest, even gone off the trail, when we were ambushed by Mr. Weasley's flying car.

Just then, however, we were grabbed by something huge and carried into a large hollow and dropped. Spiders. Giant spiders the size of horses. They took us to speak to Aragog, the monster that was accused of opening the Chamber of Secrets. He was a blind spider the size of an elephant.

He told us that he didn't come from the Chamber of Secrets, that a traveler gave him to Hagrid as an egg. Hagrid took care of him and protected him when he was blamed for the girl's death. He even found Aragog a wife and now there are hundreds of giant spiders in the forest. Out of respect for Hagrid, he never harmed a human while in the castle. The girl was found in a bathroom, and Aragog never left the cupboard where he grew up. He knows what kind of monster is in the chamber, but he wouldn't tell us. It sounds rather like a monster Voldemort. Even other monsters refuse to name it.

We were going to leave, but Aragog was going to allow his children to eat us. Though he clearly considers Hagrid a good friend, but the same courtesy didn't extend to us. We never would have gotten out of there alive if it weren't for the car. It rescued us, took us back to Hagrid's hut, and went back into the forest.

At first, we thought the only information we got from the whole ordeal was that Hagrid was innocent, but we were wrong. The girl who was killed was discovered in a bathroom, and what if she never left? I believe Moaning Myrtle was the girl who was killed fifty years ago, but it's going to be nearly impossible to get to her bathroom to ask what with all the security measures in place.

Don't worry about me, I'm fine.

Love Harry

Dear Harry,

What did you think you were playing at wandering into the Forbidden Forest at night?! Didn't we tell you not to do anything reckless and dangerous again? You could have been killed!

In the meantime, you need to tell Professor McGonagall what you know. It may all be speculation, but she might talk to Myrtle herself. I imagine they're pretty desperate for any kind of lead.

On the other hand, it is all speculation and wild theories which McGonagall may not believe.

But it's worth a try.

Good luck, take care, and don't you dare go into the Forbidden Forest again.

Love,

Mum and Dad
