Everyone was excited, but there was no possible way not to be. The music was loud, the house was full with cheer, and the lights were awesome as usual. It was one of Lee's annual New Year Eve parties that would lasts until one the next morning. Twenty-year-old Fred Weasely wondered through the house greeting people as he cut through the crowd looking for one special person. The person he had in mind was someone that he hoped would make this night even more special.

When he finally spotted her it was like the lights were focused directly on her making her glow. He had to stop a distance away to catch his breath that he didn't realize he had lost. She was wearing a classy blue V-neck shirt with white pants. Angelina and Fred had been dating for seven years now and she still never failed to stun him with her beauty. He considered himself an extremely lucky guy just because he had her. After taking a couple of breaths he walked slowly to her.

"Hey" His said in a shaky voice. She smiled at him and gave him a heart-warming kiss.

"Hey" She said cheerfully after they broke away.

"Wanna dance?" Fred was sure he sounded like a tongue-tied teenager but he was too nervous to string more then two words together.

"Of course." Fred smiled in relief. He loved this girl that was in front of him and he felt that nothing in the world could ever change that feeling.

"Hey everyone!! It's almost twelve." Lee shouted over the crowd who somehow heard him and they started the count down…20…

"Angelina?"…19…

"Yes Fred"…18…

Fred took both of her hands into his, "I love you." He put their forehead together, "I love you so much but I wanted to ask you something."…15…

Angelina frowned a bit, "What's the matter Fred. What's going on?"…13…

Fred laughed a little, "No, no it's nothing bad. It actually might be great. Depends on the person"…11…

"Then what is it?"…10…

Fred dropped her hands and reached in her pocket for a small velvet box. He took a moment to study her. "Angelina"…6… "Will you marry me?"…4…

Angelina gasped while Fred opened the box for her to see the most breath-taking ring she ever beheld…3…

She looked up at Fred, her eyes filled with unshed tears. Fred knew the answer as soon as he looked into them…2…

Fred took the ring and slid it onto her finger. It was a prefect fit…1 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Everyone shouted as Angelina and Fred brought the New Year in with a very passionate kiss.

Happy New Year everyone!! I hope everyone is safe and happy. This is a really quick thrown together story and I hope it isn't too bad but I thought it would work well for the occasion.
