Intermission I - Case of the Giant Spider
Iver at Epic City's neighboring town, Hosum, where there lies a large asylum for the mentally ill.
One security guard is seen making a checklist on each patient, see if they're in their rooms.
"Alek, check. Gina, check. Ezekiel..." the guard noticed that inside the cell is empty, his eyes widen. "Ezekiel?" he then noticed a vent empty, "Not again."
He picks up his walky-talky and spoke "We got a runner. Patient 4522 is loose, I repeat..." he saw a shadow looming over him. He turns around, as his eyes widen in shock. "What...the...f-"
Standing before him upside down, is a giant, black spider with four red eyes and large arms. It's fangs bare as it shoots its web from its mouth.
"GAAAAAHH!" the guard screams as he drops his walky-talky, his screams echoed in the asylum.

At Epix's Headquarters, the Star.
"An emergency at a Hosum mental hospital?" Lincoln asked, as with him are Garfield, Rebecca, April, Ben, Dani, Jenny, Dipper, and Jimmy.
"Yes, as you can see," Jimmy begins to speak since Dexter is out of commission for the moment he becomes the team's tech guy "There have been reports about a giant spider invading the St. Romanov Asylum. Staff was laid off but the patients are left in their cells."
"But why keep the patients in their cells if there's a giant spider on the loose?" Jenny asked.
"Well, what else? To keep some crazies from running loose hurting people." Ben states.
"Glad it's not a supervillain asylum. They have bad security in those areas." Gar comments.
"Totally, we bust down many insane supervillains a few weeks ago," April said
"So how we gonna stop this spider?" Ben asked
"We go to the Asylum to solve the mystery," Jimmy answered
"Are you sure we shouldn't get all the Epix?" Lincoln asked
"It just gonna capture a spider, and save some people, how hard can it be?" Dani said

The small group of Epix members travels down to the St. Romanov Asylum. They've spotted the place looking old but newly built building. Lightning strikes for some reason.
"What's with the lighting at night? It's not even raining." Dani asked.
"Must be the case of heat lightning, which due to the high temperatures can attract lightning." Jimmy states.
"Looks like there's another group over there." Gar points out, seeing a green hippy van down by the parking lot.
Once the jet is parked, the team came down to see the owner of the asylum, Dr. Romanov, a gray-bearded man in a green suit and white lab coat, talking to four teens and a brown Great Dane dog in a blue-collar.
One is Fred Jones, a male with blond comb hair, blue eyes, and white skin. Wearing a white-collar shirt with an orange ascot tie, blue jeans, and brown shoes.
Next is Daphne Blake, a girl with short length red hair with a green headband, tanned skin, green eyes, and pink lips. She wears a purple long-sleeve dress fitting her hourglass figure as the skirt reaches to her thighs, pink stockings, and purple heels.
Behind her is Velma Dinkley, a girl with brown bob-cut hair, freckled skin, blue eyes with square glasses. She wearing an orange long sleeve sweater shows her small cleavage, red skirt shows her thicc legs and behind, orange knee socks, and red shoes.
Eating chips is Rogers 'Shaggy' Norville, happens to be a male with brown hair with a small beard, white skin, and blue eyes. He wears a green shirt, purple jeans, and black shoes.
Lastly, is a Great Dane dog with black eyes, wears a blue collar with an SB logo. He is Scooby-Doo.
"Hello, we got your call, Dr. Romonov." Lincoln states to the doctor.
"Ah, Epix. Looks like you guys are here, just in time as Mystery Inc are here." the elder doctor said pointing at the team.
"Hi, we're Mystery Inc, a group of mystery-solvers." Fred spoke, "I'm Fred, this is Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo our mascot."
"Oh my gosh!" Daphne shout excitingly, confronting Lincoln "You must be the Link, right? Can I get your autograph?"
"Um sure," Lincoln said as he signs in her small book. 'The way she looks happen to be a fashion designer, pretty sure Leni be friends with her.'
"We heard stories about you guys, have solved dozens of mysteries," Jenny replied
"Thanks, it's awesome working with a group of superheroes," Shaggy said
"Rah, for protection," Scooby said.
"Did that dog just talk?" Dani asks hearing the dog.
"Anyway, what's the situation?" Rebecca asked the doctor.
"A giant spider has kept terrorizing my asylum. It has kept taking staff members and my patients. I can't say their names due to disclosure, but if that giant spider keeps showing up I'll have to shut down this place and send my patients to Arkham Asylum." Dr. Romanov said in sadden, "That place is much, much worse state asylum in this country."
Lincoln understood the man's worries "Don't worry, we'll capture that giant spider to get it out of your asylum."
"Thank you Link, here." Dr. Romanov said give all of them a card. "This is cards to access the place."
"Let's go catch a spider," Fred replied as everyone got in the place.

Epix and Mystery Inc enters the building, where they see webbing everywhere.
"Jeepers, there's sure are a lot of webbing here," Daphne said creeped out.
"Don't worry, with Epix's greatest heroes, Ben10, will save you, Miss," Ben said acting manly in front of the older redhead.
"Uh, thanks for the concern, Ben," Daphne said patting the boy's head.
"Hey guys, check this out," Velma said as she holds up opened document folder.
"What did you find, Velma?" Fred asks her.
"Documents, it seems to be a list of patients that have been checked out in this asylum." Velma states as she looks closely "Weird, these have red X marks on two of these patients."
Jimmy looks at them as he says "They're identified as Ezekiel Farmers and Izzy McSneakerton."
"What do those two have in common?" Garfield asks while looking at the halls, as he walks down on his own.
"Like man, where are you going?" Shaggy asks him.
"I'm going to look around the place, check to find if this Giant Spider is worth fighting," Gar said, shocking Shaggy and Scooby.
"Gar, wait up!" Rebecca said, following him.
"Like, is he crazy to fight that thing?" Shaggy asks as he and Scooby look scared for Gar.
"Gah, he either brave or little powerful," Scooby said to his best friend.
"Alright gang, he's right. If we separated, we get more clues." Fred replied as others look at him. "Team 1 takes the room sector, Team 2 cafeteria, and team 3 take backyard."
"So Team 1 is me, Ben, Fred, and Daphne. To see there any people in the place." Lincoln said
Ben gets closer to Daphne while smirking. "Good plan."
"I, Jimmy Neutron, April O Neil, and Dipper go to the backyard if there's any suspicion where about," Velma said to fix her glasses.
"I guess the rest of us goes to the cafeteria to search," Jenny said
"Yeah, now that sounds like a nice plan!" Shaggy states as he and Scooby can't wait to go to the cafeteria.
"Something tells me those two won't be looking for the spider," Dani said in deadpan.
"Watch them, they'll do anything to sneak out from a mystery," Fred told Dani and Jenny.

「Room Sector」
Lincoln, Fred, Daphne, and Ben walking through the place to see lots of rooms been covering with webs. Lincoln and Fred see in the place, while Ben has a talk with Daphne.
"You know, I'm Ben 10...Master of Omnitrix...the saver of the galaxy, and one defeat Vilgax." Ben said
"That's great and all, glade meet you, Ben," Daphne said pat Ben's head until she heard Fred. "Sorry Fred need me."
Ben frown as he goes to Lincoln. "Dude, you seem like a lady expert-"
"No I not, I try it...and it's way horrible," Lincoln said as he looks at Ben. "You like her?"
"What you expect? She so hot, I wonder how I get her." Ben answered
Lincoln rolls his eyes and m said "Dude she's out of your league, you way too young, and she like Fred...Man, like Clyde all over again."
"Clyde who?" Ben asks while starring dreamily towards Daphne, Link sighs.
'He's gonna learn one way or another.' Link asks as he steps on something sticky. He looks down, seeing a sticky substance of web fluid. "This spider sure makes a mess around here."
"And I don't see where the spiders lead is." Fred said as he notices something, a tag number. "Check this out, a tag number that they use on patients."
Unknown to them, a vent is opened as the Giant Spider is seen hovering behind them, mostly Daphne.
"It looks torn up," Daphne said as Lincoln takes a picture of it on his phone.
"I'll send this to Jimmy to see if he can get a read on the number." Lincoln said as he noticed his reflection, seeing the Giant Spider over Daphne "Daphne, look out!"
Daphne turns and saw she's being sprayed by the Giant Spider "AAAHH!" she screams as the Giant Spider brings her up, as it crawls through the door dragging her with it "Help!"
"Oh man, I'll save you!" Ben said as he slams his Omnitrix, changing into a large, white, and black alien with a yellow sphere armor and the Omnitrix symbol on his chest "Cannonbolt? I was going for Eye Guy."
Lincoln slams his Biotrix, changing into Slinger, "Use what you got, let's go save Daphne!"
Cannonbolt form of a ball. "Right!"
Both of them swing and roll to Daphne's place, while Fred runs off right after them to save Daphne.

「Backyard」
Velma seems to check any clues, Jimmy looks the chair if there any fingerprints, April and Dipper seem checking for any people.
"This spider has skills capture a lot of people," Dipper said
"Indeed, the patients and staff workers look like they've been captured by that spider." April comments looking at the webs.
"Guys, I've gotten an update on the patients from the documents." Jimmy declares, as all turn to see "You see, both Ezekiel and Izzy are related under the same circumstances."
"What do you mean? They're siblings?" Dipper asked.
"He means that they used to be part of a failed tv show that drove them to insanity." Velma clarifies.
"A failed tv show? What would-" before April spoke, she felt something stick to her back as she is sprung up "GAHH!"
They seeing April getting dragging away. "APRIL!"

Jenny seems to use her night vision eyes modes to see where any life forms In the cafeteria. "Looks like the people really gone."
*Slurp...munch...munch...*
Jenny frightens, she turns around to see two life forms in a table, she turns it off to see Shaggy and Scooby-Doo eating cafeteria food.
"Really you two? In the middle of the mystery?" Jenny question
"Sorry, we just hungry," Shaggy said
"Yeah, hungry," Scooby replied
Jenny facepalm. "Can't you believe it, Dani."
*Munch...slurp...*
Jenny sees Dani eating as well she looks at her who glaring, the ghost girl spoke. "What...I'm hungry."
"Right you are," spoke Garfield who ends up in the cafeteria.
"Looks like you've found yourself in the group." Jenny comments, but noticed something "Hey, where's Rebecca?"
"What?" he turns around, not seeing Rebecca "She was with me a second ago, where could she be?"
"Like, maybe we should ask that!" Shaggy points at the direction for all to look, seeing the Giant Spider screeching at them, causing Shaggy and Scooby to scream while Jenny, Dani, and Gar stand to fight.
"Where is she?!" Gar shout as he blasts a shockwave.
The Spider jumps away from the shockwave, as well as Jenny's sonic cannons. Dani flew up to The Spider, trying to blast it out with her ghost rays.
The Spider shoots it's the web at them, most dodge but Jenny got caught in the web and pinned to the wall.
"Gross," Jenny said while her metal tongue sticks out.
The Spider screeches as it jumps down in front of Shaggy and Scooby, both look nervous.
"Like what's keeping you guys waiting for SWAT IT!" Shaggy screams as he hangs on to his equally frightened dog.
Garfield jumps up, with his high kick preparing to stomp on the spider. The Spider jumps back as it crawls down through the large vents, as it's screeches echoed.
"That was a big failure." Dani said as she gets Jenny out of there."I don't understand why they get Shaggy and Scooby, the spider got Rebecca...why not them." Gar said
"Probably because the spider has taste," Jenny replies
"We should regroup now." Dani said after getting a text from Lincoln "Daphne and April are both captured by the Giant Spider."
"You guys go ahead, I'm gonna go find Rebecca," Gar said as he opens the vents to get to the Spider.

Epix and Mystery Inc regroup, as the only ones who didn't regroup about the Spider.
"Where's Lincoln and Ben?" Dani asks Fred.
"They went around to look for Daphne, and I see that April is missing too." Fred states.
"She got captured by the Giant Spider," Velma responds.
"Hey Velma, Jimmy, maybe you guys should take a look at this." Jenny said holding up a sample of the web, "Something about this webbing isn't silky at all." she said transforming her hand into a microscope.
Velma and Jimmy saw through the lenses, seeing the sample's properties. They're shocked to find what it is.
"Can you scan the ingredients of this web fluid?" Jimmy asks her, as Jenny scans the sample as data paper pops out from her mouth. Velma grabs it as she looks at it.
"Jinkies, this doesn't really look like properties of web fluid at all." Velma states.
"What do you mean?" Shaggy asked.
"This isn't actual spider webbing, it's basic ingredient are contact-cement and anti-stick rod stirring." Jimmy states.
Shaggy, Scooby, Fred, and Dani got a confusing look. "Wha?"
Velma shake her head and Jenny pinches her nose, Jimmy spoke in their language. "Its like Spider-Man's web fluid."
"Ooooh." They said
Dani rubbed her chin. "Not to mention that I hearing machine noise when I flew up close to it."
"Something tells me that we're closer to the mystery." Velma states.

Meanwhile, through the vents, Lincoln has changed into Red Ant, while Ben changed into a blue cloaked alien with blue eyes and mouth, with a black humanoid insect body.
"Look through anything, Big Chill?" Red Ant asked.
"Nothing yet, Red Ant." Big Chill responds "Oh I hope Daphne's alright."
Red Ant rolls his eyes, "I keep telling you, it's not gonna- wait." Red Ant halted Big Chill "I hear something crawling."
The two prepare for the upcoming threat, but then they saw Garfield crawling down as he saw the two.
"You guys saw the Spider?" he asks them.
"Not yet," Red Ant told him "Big Chill, can you scout through the vents to see any webs around?"
"Sure, I can-" Big Chill said stop hears a noise.
*Creeeakkk*
"How much weight on these vents?" Red Ant asked
"Oh sh-" Gar said interrupt by the vent break apart.
"AHHHHH!"
Red Ant, Big Chill, and Gar falling down to a room happen to be the basement. Gar seems falling into something but Big Chill falls down on the ground as Red Ant landed on him.
Red Ant got off of Big Chill, transform back into normal size, he helps Big Chill up. "You alright?"
"Yeah, where's Gar?" Big Chill asked
"Huh, guys...little help?"
"Please."
Both boys look at the voice, Red Ant got a surprising look while Big Chill gets an angry look...they see Garlanded on Daphne, they stick together almost face to face.
"Sorry Daphne," Gar said with blushes
Daphne blushes as well. "It's cool, I been in worst."
"Not like us."
Red Ant and Big Chill see the girls in different positions make them blush, Big Chill said. "That not see every day."
April seems hanging while arms tie-up as her behind showing mostly due to her shorts.
Rebecca is seen having her hands and feet tied bending back, showing her hanging from the ceiling, being hogtied.
"So that's where you three are." Red Ant said.
"Yeah, that Giant Spider captured us for some reason and we can't get ourselves free!" April shouts while struggling.
Big Chill sees lots of people seem to get in web cocoons. "Must be the workers and patients."
"Don't worry you guys, we get you out-" Red Ant said heard a roar.
They see a goblin-like being with claws and few hairs, having a green hoodie with blue jeans.
"What...is...that?" Red Ant asked turns to Big Chill. "You free them while I deal with this thing!"
"Noted." Big Chill said as his icy breath spread throughout the webbing of everyone. Rebecca and April are free, as well as Daphne and Garfield.
Red Ant slams his icon as he changes to another hero. This time he becomes an armored hero. His look is similar to Iron-Man's, but he wore an orange armor with black attributes, glowing white eyes, and the icon is at the center.
"I am...Golden-Blast!" shout the new hero form, Golden-Blast. He charges at Ezekiel who charges at them, with a blast that knocks Ezekiel away.
The goblin creature hisses at them as it crawls back to attack Golden-Blast, who tries to get him off of him.
"Just...what is this...?" Golden-Blast saw something on the goblin boy's wrist, a patient's tag number and identity "Ezekiel? Wait a minute..." he gets punched by Ezekiel who tackles him, but Golden-Blast blasted him off of him.
"Grr...master, angry..." Ezekiel shouts.
"Master? What master are you talking about? That Spider?" Golden-Blast demands.
"Not...Spider..." Ezekiel cries out.
Once Big Chill sets everyone free, the Omnitrix timed out as it changes back to Ben. "Where's the exit?"
"We'll just gonna make one," Gar replied as his hand sends out a shockwave by flicking at the wall, creating a large hole. "Come on!"
Just that everyone running out of the place, Gar likely grabbed Daphne puts her on his shoulder side since she's not good running. Ezekiel was now alone, getting nervous
"Master...will is not pleased," Ezekiel said

Soon after rescuing the people, including their friends, Epix and Mystery Inc has regrouped. Lincoln was back to normal, as everyone discussed Ezekiel.
"So wait, Ezekiel may be a part of this?" Dani asks Lincoln.
"I don't think he is the culprit, and I don't think the Spider is the one causing things to go crazy." Lincoln states.
"I think that Spider had a thing for redheads, you know?" Jenny comments.
"Really, since keep getting girls that way," Gar said look at three redheads. "I think I may have an idea."

"I can't believe we doing this."
April, Daphne, and Rebecca go back to the place looking for the Spider.
"I don't know why you're complaining, I'm not even a redhead," Rebecca replied referring to her pink hair.
"Well, pink is about close to red." April comments.
"Yeah, and your hair goes well in that chainmail and cape," Daphne states complimenting Rebecca's golden armor bikini and loincloth.
"I wanted to look like a warrior," Rebecca muttered
*Screech*
The big spider came out of the ceiling, ready to grab the girls again until...appear out of nowhere happened to be the Epix and the Mystery Inc.
"Nice one Link," Jimmy said
"Vanish." Link said he has a blue and black suit with black gloves and boots with icon on the chest, he has a blue force field on his hands. "Now let's take it down!"
The Spider backs away but its webs were cut off by Jenny, who transformed her hands into scissors, making the Spider dropdown. Jimmy shoots lasers from his watch at the spider, which shocks the spider as its legs start twisting and turning, while Dani shoots ecto goop at it to stick to the ground.
Dipper levitate a large net to trap the Spider down, trapping the Spider. April threw her kunai to trap the net down on the Spider.
"Good job, guys!" Fred declared.
"Now let's see who this Spider really is," Daphne said walking towards it, grabbing its head and pulls it off. Revealing to be a redhaired girl with green eyes, tanned skin, and orange lips.
"Izzy?!" they all said in surprise.
"Hi, what's up? Nice trap you set up on me!" Izzy said while crackling.
"Hold up, that doesn't make any sense. Why would one of the patients set up all of this?" Ben asked.
"It's actually simple, really." Velma states, "Izzy wasn't working alone, as well as Ezekiel as both were in on this. Right, Izzy?"
"Oh yeah, the good doctor states that I and Zeke would get some money and have a little fun around if we do as he says. Well, I like the fun part, seeing a fellow redhead makes me want to get out of this mechanical spider-suit I pilot to have some fun with them!" Izzy said which Daphne, April, and Rebecca felt relieved that she didn't get the chance to.
"Wait, doctor "who" exactly?" Shaggy asked.
"I don't think this mystery is really over," Vanish said with a narrow look.

At a truck, Dr. Romanov is seen packing some stuff in the car, while Ezekiel looks scared.
"Everything's ruined because of those meddling kids!" the doctor shouts as he shuts the trunk, glaring at Ezekiel "You've got one job, Ezekiel, one job!"
