Chapter 4 My awakening

All I can hear at first is Em screaming my name, then I'm being lifted up and taken into town. I wake up to Hunter pacing, Em hovering over me and everyone else waiting. "Hey guys what's up." I start to say "She's up!" said Em.everyone came over asking if I'm ok. "I'm ok I guess."

Then this old lady with pale skin and whiled hair came up to me "Hi I'm Eda .Who's your guardian?" she asked me "Rain Whispers." I say. Eda *gasps* "Ok I'll call them." she said. "How long was I out?" I ask "3 hours" Hunter said concerned. "Well I'm ok now" I say. A few minutes later Rain rushes in very concerned "You said you'd be safe you promised me" they say in a panicked voice. "I am safe…I think, where am I?" I ask "In my house said Eda.

Rain took me home to rest after I said bye to my friends and exchanged numbers. Rain started to yell at me about safety and not overdoing it. "I know I'm sorry but Hunter was badly hurt and Em was busy so I took matters into my own hands." I say. "Ok it's just well" they paused "I don't want you getting hurt ok" they tell me "I know I'll try harder next time." I say " Night" "good night Crystal" they say.

I go back to school with classmates checking on me all the time. It was super annoying. "Finally lunch" I let out a sigh of relief and sat by Em, Ed, Amity, Luz, Willow, and Gus. We had a nice conversation without bringing up what happened yesterday. It was great.

"All right we need to get potion ingredients for Eda.'' said Luz. "All right we are gonna team up ok then you'll get a list. First is me, Amity, Gus, and Ed then it's Hunter, Crystal, Willow, and Em." We got our list: fire bee honey, poison mushroom tears, shiny Emeralds, tree mold, and flesh eating plants. First we are going to find fire bee honey first because as Hunter said it's the easiest to find. "So what's your name? I'm Willow." said Willow. "Oh hi I'm Crystal." I say with a smile.

All of a sudden I hear buzzing and it's getting really hot so I know we're getting close. "Here we are." Em said "Wow." I say, impressed with how big the nest is. I also see tree mold on a nearby tree so I grab it and put it in a jar then come back to the group. I walk right up to the nest and freeze the bees, grab a jar of honey then give it to Willow then unfreeze the bees and run."OW!" screamed Hunter he stepped on the Emeralds.

I rush over to grab the Emerald then start to heal Hunter's wound. "You ok? You look a little doozy." He tells me "I..I'm ok I guess just a new spell." I say "I can still walk." "Found the mushrooms!" shouted Em. "I know where some flesh eating plants are," says Willow. We walk to the beach where Willow puts some gloves on and grabs the plant then quickly puts it in the jar. "That's everything we can head back to," said Hunter. "Let's go back to where we were originally."said Em.

We got back safely and were chatting with the others when a giant worm-like demon came out of the ground and tried to eat us! I ran out of the way and tried to make an illusion that showed multiple of us but my energy was really low from my last spell so I grabbed some food to help.

Once my energy got up so did I Em told me to go heal Ed so I did, I kept a bag of food with me to eat so I don't get tired. I was healing like crazy then I had no more food. Good thing the monster was defeated. But Hunter got a big slash on his head so I went over and without thinking I healed him which took out all my energy and then I passed out.
