Disclaimer: I do not own this song, I do not own Hiei and Kurama, however Sakaura is my shared property with a friend.
-----
The scene opens to Kurama and Hiei Hiei has a guitar and Kurama has a microphone..
Hiei strums and after a few minutes.
Kurama clears his throat and starts to sing.
------
I am lighthouse
Worn by the weather and the waves,
I keep my lamp lit to warn the sailors on their way.
I'll tell a story..
Roses appear all around the stage in different colors.
Things seem to change and go dark then picture comes into view..
Paint you a picture from my past.
I was so happy,
The joy in this life seldom lasts...
Kurama is standing by the lighthouse.
The waves make a gentle crashing noise as ships come and go..
I had a keeper,
He helped warn the ships at sea.
We had grown closer till his joy meant everything to me.
A girl with long raven black hair and green eyes,
Hugs Kurama and smiles sweetly..
He was to marry,
A girl who shone with beauty and light.
And they loved each other.
And with me watched the sunsets into nights..
The two of them are at the top of the lighthouse with their arms around each other..
And the waves crashin around me
The sun slips out to sea
And the winds that blow remind me,
Of what has been and what can never be
A ship getting ready to set sail, the girl hugging Kurama..
Kurama gives her a rose before she boards the ship...
She'd had to leave us My keeper, he prayed for a safe return
But when the night came the weather
To a raging storm had turned.
He watched her ship fight
Kurama watched her ship attempting to return through the storm,
Praying that the ship would win the fight against the weather.
But in vain against the well lit terrible wave
In me so helpless..
Its dashed against the rocks she met her end
The ship crashes, Kurama falls to his knees in horror and prays shes alright.
She's laying among the rocks, the water slowly dragging her off the rocks..
And the waves crashin around me
The sun slips out to sea
And the winds that blow remind me,
Of what has been and what can never be
Then on the next day.
My keeper found her washed up on the shore.
He kissed her cold face, that they'd be together soon he swore..
Kurama found her on the shore, a note in clutched tightly in her hand.
Only words he could make out were "I love you."
I saw him crying, watched as he buried her in the sand.
Then he climbed my tower and off the edge of me he ran
Kurama falling, his back to the ground.. his red hair flying around him.
A look of sorrow on his face..
And the waves crashin around me
The sun slips out to sea
And the winds that blow remind me,
Of what has been and what can never be
A faint image of the two standing at the top of the lighthouse watching the ships pass by..
I am lighthouse
Worn by the weather and the waves
And though I'm empty I still warn the sailors on their way..
Red, white, blue and yellow roses surround the place of the girl's grave and the lighthouse.
Hiei stands on the deck of a ship in the distance and watches as the ship passes the lighthouse.
------------------
Kurama stops singing and when Hiei stops playing, they bow and the roses slowly dissapear.
"In memory of Sakaura, the panther of the cherry blossoms..." Kurama says as he and hiei walk off stage and dissapear..
