That same day Hammersley returned back to port and noticed two Feds were on the wharf waiting to walk onto the ship. When they did Kate was there to great them
"Lieutenant, I need to talk all senior sailors and officers in the ship office"
"Yes sir i'll show you the way" she showed them the ship office then she called the bridge for the announcement then charge, swain, dutchy and Mike showed up.
"I'm commander flynn why are we been call into here"
"commander do you know Garth Davidson"
"Yeah we had few run in with him over the past three years, he runs a security firm why did you ask"
"His boat was identified in attacking against other boats, firing upon them wounding and scaring people on board."
"Why not arrest him"
"We got no evidence only what the witness are saying and his men that with him say they are somewhere else and it got to be another boat"
"why are you telling us this"
"Chief petty officer Roff join his group"
"what" they all said in shocked
"she wouldn't leave the navy, does she know about what they are doing" mike said
"Yes, she worked undercover for us. She has given us great intel of the men so far they go out on his boat, the lay out of his boat, his headquarters, more than we could emagin, even serial numbers of his guns"
"But why her" Dutchy asked
"Cause of her background and the reason why she left the navy was on medical grounds which is a cover for her cause of her leg wound. We are going to know where he is going, who he is meeting up with, the name of the boat, the owner. Every thing"
"she crazy" Swain said
"Does Jim know this"
"Yes she told him yesterday when we meant together, he was upset at first but she explained to him what Garth been doing and we need evidence to convict him and she can do that for us"
"So why are you telling us" mike said
"On the condition that she does it that you know what is going on and also be her backup just in case some things go wrong"
"Fair enough, she knows that we will be there if she needs us," Kate said.
"Tell us more about what he has done." Mike said.
The two feds told them about what Garth was doing so they can understand. When finished they now know what she was doing.
"Dose commander White know about this" mike asked
"Yes she does"
"Good." they talk some more before going their separate ways.
Over the next two months MacGyver was able to gather much information for the feds until one day they were heading to an island to pick up a man named Mr Tagobe then they headed to Darwin for the night. MacGyver managed to get into Mr Tagobe's room and find out what he got in the black bag. She saw that they were diamonds, she got her phone out and took a photo of it then put them back then she went to her cabin without being seen.
She sent a message with the photo to the feds cell phone. 'Garth up to something, my gut telling me, i think it the diamonds, can you get me fake diamonds like the ones in the photos, I need one hundred of them, docking at Darwin tomorrow for the night to restock and refuel' then she sent the two photos in one photo show the diamond in the palm of her hand so the feds would know roughly how big they are.
She then deleted the photos and text message when her phone vibrated so she looked at the message 'let us know when you dock, will inform flynn, good job' she deleted the message and made sure it was gone.
The next day when the boat dock the crew went into town while Garth and Mr Tagobe stayed on board. MacGyver met one of the agents as chinese place in town. She was waiting for the order when he walked in and made his order then step a side.
"Is this big enough" he show her the fake diamond
"Yes, I'll make the trade the day after tomorrow, I need Hammersley to board the boat for a distraction. Have the captain send two crew members down below deck to search below deck. I'll wait for them and we swap the real diamonds for the fake ones"
"any idea what Garth got plan"
"I heard him planning on meeting up with another boat on thursday at three in the morning, i think he is planning on making the switch himself"
"How do you know this"
"bugs" she said
"Have you recorded any of it"
"Yes, I haven't had a chance to send it to you yet but I will tonight" then the order was ready. She steps forward and picks the bags up and thanks them then turns around and walks out the door.
When she returns to the boat she pass Garth his dinner and a couple of beers "thank June"
"you're welcome" then she went and got a glass and walked down and knocked onto MR Tagobe door.
"Mr Tagobe sir i got you dinner" door open "Here you go sir and here a nice bottle of red wine i thought you might like and glass"
"thank you June, care to join me"
"sorry sir, i'm on duty watch, enjoy"
"I will thank you" then she walked away and walked up onto the bridge with her dinner and a bottle of ginger beer.
The next morning they left port and headed north. MacGyver was in the kitchen when Mr Tagobe showed up with his lunch dishes
"thank you for an enjoyable lunch"
"your welcome sir, how was your wine last night"
"It was a good choice, it wasn't to sweet or bitter, thank you, you must have good taste"
"It was someone special to me who introduced me to the wine on our first date"
"Well he got good taste in wine and women" MacGyver grin
"Thank you sir" then he walks away while she finishes cleaning up.
The next afternoon Hammersley showed up and boarded the boat. MacGyver received a text for Kate letting her know that they are going to board at what time since they've been texting a plan back and forth. When it was time June waited then swain and RO went down stairs when they saw her.
She gave them a quick hug then they went down and into the guest cabin, she put the gloves on while they got small bags out of their pockets and other places. She tips the bag onto the bed then they tip the fake diamond into the bag then she fills them up with the real ones then they help till it is done.
Then they hid the bags on themselves and she put the bag back in its spot then she got her phone out and let it ring twice, then hung up. Then she hugged them when they got called back on top cause of a may day call MacGyver returned back to her cabin where she laid back in bed and put her headphones on listening to some music while relaxing.
On Hammersley they change direction Swain and RO show Mike, Kate and dutchy the diamonds "Any idea how much these are worth?" Dutchy asked
"Over twenty million dollars"
"that a lot of money" Swain said
"Yes it is, how MacGyver"
"she good misses us"
"We all miss her, let's get these diamonds in the safe" they put them in a bag and Mike put them in his safe then they return back to the bridge.
Early the next morning MacGyver was on duty when garth showed up "How are things?"
"Quiet, there is a boat on radar it heading towards us"
"Ok stop engines, we meet up with that boat, got extra guests to pick up"
"Ok stopping engines" then the engines stopped and he walked down and onto the side of the boat when the other boat showed up.
He talks to them not knowing MacGyver was watching what was happening. When she saw the men getting onto the boat with weapons. She went and got her hand gun and hid them in her pants and under her jacket and activated her emergency beacon and put it back in her pocket when one of the men showed up and grabbed her and took her to the back of the boat.
Then she noticed the other men and Mr Tagobe were also dragged onto the boat deck. She witnessed Garth shooting Mr Tagobe then he left the deck. When he returned he was holding a black box and bag with the fake diamonds in it. He put them in the box and got on board the other boat and turn to them all
"kill them" Macgyver quickly moved and stood behind one of them men when he was hit, she grabbed his shirt and pulled him with her as she went down pretending to be dead.
When she heard them get onto the other boat and the engine started up and they moved away. She moves the guy body and she moved to where she could see the boat getting her gun out of her pocket when she saw garth holding an RPG and was getting ready to fire so she line it up and fire one round getting him in the arm causing him to lose his balance and fire the weapon which it went over the boat.
Then she ran up to the wheel house and turned the engines on and the full throater turned away from them and headed south. She ran down to her cabin where she got her bag which was in a big plastic bag that blew up like a floating ball that she got set up after dinner just in case. then back on top when she saw they got another RPG.
she got a life raft out and hung onto it and her bag as she jumped into the sea as she watched the boat that garth is on turn around and went after it missing MacGyver when they went past her and she was ten meters away.
When they passed she waited then she used her gun and fired it at the spot light on the ship taking it out. She watched as Garth fired another RPG on the boat and it exploded in a fireball.
She watched them turn around and headed north thinking that everyone died on board. When it was safe she actervated the life raft and put her bag in then she managed to get in and row over to where the wreckage is and waited.
It was just after dawn when Hammersley showed up they saw the life raft in among the wreckage. Both HRIBS went over since there were bodies in the water. One of the HRIB went over to the raft
"sir it Macgyver" she open her eyes and smile as she sat up
"you guys took your sweet time"
"Are you ok" Swain ask
"In time" they helped her into the HRIB and got her bag as well.
Hour later after having a shower and get into her DBUN uniform she walk up onto the bridge where Mike hug her "Swian told me"
"Are we going after them"
"Yes we are, can you tell us what happen"
"Garth told me to stop the engines when I saw another boat heading toward us. He said we pick up extra guests. When the boat stopped he went down to greet them then I saw arm men come aboard. I went and got my nine mils put them in my pants and activate my beacon"
"We got your signal" Mike said
"One of the men came and got me. He dragged me onto the boat deck, then the others did the same. Garth pulled out his gun and said 'I don't need you anymore, I got what I wanted' then he shot him point blank in the head. Then he went and got the diamonds then returned and got on the other boat. He looked at us and said 'kill them'" she looked down while trying to hold it together, then looked up.
"I quickly stood behind one of the men, when he went down I grabbed him and made sure he landed on top of me. I pretend I was dead. When I heard them leaving I moved the body off me then I went to the side of the boat when I saw Garth pick up an RPG. I pulled out a nine mil and I shot him in the arm causing him to miss fire it, it went over the boat. I ran to the wheel house, started the motor and moved it full throttle and away from the other boat. Then I went and got my bag and went and got the life raft when I saw them turning around so I jumped into the sea and watched them go pass. I shot the flood light so they couldn't use it on the boat. I saw Garth fired a second RPG onto the boat and it blew up. The boat turned around and left. I activated the raft and got me and my bag onto it and paddle over to where the wreckage is and waited. I cried while thinking of those men who died for no reason at all; they trusted Garth and he purtrade them and the ones who worked for him" Mike hugged her.
"You did good and we are going to get him"
"OK, sir can i call the feds"
"Sure, RO" she walked over and got her phone out of her pocket and looked up the number. She called the feds and told them what happened.
"Commander Flynn going after him… I will, can you go and tell others what happened but tell them there one survivor, don't mention any names… thank you, I'll call you soon as we got him… will do" then she hung up.
"He heading north but where" Kate said
"X can you bring up a map of where we are and what islands are north of us"
"sure" she walked over and brought up a map of where the are and what north
"There that is where he is going florance, I remember him floor something cause the others showed up with Mr Tagobe and the other men."
"Good place to get bribe his way out of the country, it got a airport on the island" Mike said
"Only if he knew," MacGyver said.
When they reach the island MacGyver was on EOD looking for the boat "found it" she yelled out
Mike walked over to the EOD "What is it"
"that the boat sir"
"Are you sure"
"Yes" she zoom in
"see the smash flood light"
"But are you sure" she move the camera
"the one in the red shirt, he was the one who came to the bridge to get me, one in the blue shirt, brown tee shirt and one in the green hat, they kill the men"
"You did good"
"Yes sir."
Two hours later once they dock out at sea "sir they on the move and heading this way" Bird siad
"I got them on radar," Kate said.
They went past Hammersley, They saw Garth on board so they went after the boat. "Sir i want to be on the boarding team" MacGyver said
"I'll come with you X you have the ship."
When they went to board the boat Mike spoke to garth. "Your under arrest for the murder of Mr Tagobe and six of your own staff"
"What is this a joke Mike, I got seven…"
"did you say seven, we pick up six bodies"
"I mean six cause i would be the seventh person on board and where did you get this crazy idea that i killed Mr Tagobe, have you got proof"
"Of course he has"
Garth saw a hand on Mike's shoulder, he stepped to the side and the head that was raised as the helmet was removed. Garth went into shocked and so did the other men
"you thought that I died on the boat. It over Garth the feds got my statement about what happened. They got enough evidence to lock you away for a very long time"
"You got nothing any way your out of the navy i'll tell them that your addicted to pain meds because of you leg wound"
"My leg wounds heal up very nicely thank you"
"You lied"
"No when we met it was the day I got out of hospital and the pain I was in the next day, that all real i just over did it which i had to so i can get in"
"So your back in the navy"
"Your under a rest"
"Navy is getting to soft these days" he said
"Remember the first day we met you said you hire men not women, why"

"soft, you put your best men against me for your test and I won all of them, some of them are ex SAS"
"Well i can beat them and i can beat you come and get me" he said she passed Mike her helmet then stepped ford.
"MacGyver" she turn to Mike undoing the zip of her vest jacket and removing it and her head set and passing it to him
"sir i'm not going to let a low life pull down the navy name and especially women in the navy and plus remember i'm not in the navy…. Yet" she turned and stepped ford.
They watch as Garth throws the first punch missing MacGyver so he tries it again and again then he runs to attack her only for him to end up on the floor on his stomach with his arm and wrist twisted behind him by one hand.
"It over Garth, swain tie" He pass her a tie and she tie him arms behind his back then swain help pick him up and turn him around so he facing her
"Women are stronger than you think and I'm proof enough of that" she turned to Mike as he passed her jacket to her.
She put it on and her helmet. "Let's go home sir"
"good idea" Twenty minutes later they were on their way home with the boat next to them.
