Chapter 15 SS. Anne Tournament Round 4 Part 1
Hello, everyone, this is the first part of round 4 enjoy!
The chapter begins were the last one left off before round 4 begins its late at night everyone else is asleep except for Ash and his Pokemon they're training hard.
"Gyarados use Dragon dance and Charmeleon Swords Dance!" Ash calls as both Pokemon try using the moves Gyarados is able to get the hang of using dragon dance since it used to splash a lot when it was a Magickarp and Charmeleon is able to use Sword's dance raising its attack sharply.
"Good now Gyarados use Aqua Tail and Charmeleon counter with Thunder Punch!" Ash calls as Gyarados and Charmeleon charge at each other and collide with their moves showcasing great power.
"That's great you are two looking good" Ash says as Gyarados and Charmeleon nod
"Ash you're still up?" A voice asks as Ash turns around and sees Misty
"Oh, hey Misty sorry did I wake you?" Ash asks
"Well, no I was getting something to drink but I noticed you were still training so I came to check on how you're doing" Misty responds
"The training is going great Gyarados and Charmeleon mastered Dragon Dance and Swords Dance next I'm going to have Charmeleon learn Dragon Dance" Ash says with a smile as Charmeleon nods
"That's great Ash are you using them in your match tomorrow?" Misty asks
"Nah I want to save them for the last 3 rounds tomorrow I'm using Alolan Vulpix and Krabby" Ash responds as Misty gets a worried look
"Are you sure Ash Justin is very ruthless when it comes to battle, I know that Vulpix and Krabby are strong, but don't you think it would be best to use your stronger Pokemon?" Misty asks
"You're right originally I was going to use a team of either Pikachu/Clefable or Gyarados/Charmeleon but Vulpix and Krabby came up to me and they really wanted to battle so I'm believing in them and I'm confident that they can win" Ash says as Vulpix and Krabby walk over giving a "ko" and "cookie" respectively showcasing that they can do this.
"Sigh Alright you've convinced me just be careful" Misty says as Ash, Vulpix and Krabby nod
"Anyway, I'm going back to bed you should go asleep too" Misty says with a yawn
"Yeah, I'll go to bed soon I just need to do one more thing with Vulpix and Krabby and then I'll head to bed" Ash says as Misty nods she then leaves as Ash goes back to training.
We then go to a different area of the ship where Archer and Petral are staying (they're not in their disguises)
"Looks like you're finally going to battle Red's kid tomorrow you have a plan?" Petral asks
"Simple I'm going to crush him just as the boss ordered" Archer says with a smile
"As for me I'm a little worried about that Kiawe kid I wasn't expecting him to be so strong, but I should be able to manage" Petral says
"Oh, don't worry I've a plan we're we'll crush Red's son and that Kiawe kid together we just need to change the match a little bit" Archer says with a smile as Petral smiles as well
"Oh, do tell" Petral asks with a smile as Archer begins telling him the plan.
We fast forward to tomorrow morning with the first match between Leaf and Elesa the Nimbasa City Gym Leader is about to begin. The two trainers walk to the battlefield and the crowd is going wild cheering Elesa's name.
"ELESA, ELESA, ELESA, ELESA!" The crowd cheers as Elesa waves at her fans
"Thank you everyone! For the cheers I'll give you all a sparkling battle today as well!" Elesa says as the crowd gives a loud cheer making Leaf uncomfortable
"Uh this reminds me of Gary's cheerleaders but worse" Leaf says in an annoyed tone
"I hope Leaf can focus with all this noise" Ash says
"I just hope I can focus" Misty says as she looks at Brock, Cilan and Joe wearing Elesa fan outfits and cheering her name
"GO ELESA!" "YAY ELESA!" "ELESA BE MY GIRLFRIEND!" Cilan, Joe and Brock say cheering loudly
"Would you three be quiet we're supposed to cheer for Leaf!" Iris yells at the three
"We can cheer for both" Brock responds with Cilan and Joe nodding as they begin to cheer for Elesa again making the group annoyed
For those wondering Joe's Victreebel made a full recovery so he, Sophocles, Mallow and Cilan are with the group again to cheer for them in their battles Joe and Sophocles really want to see Ash and Kiawe beat Justin and Larry.
"She's not so pretty I'm more beautiful than her right?" Jessie asks looking at James and Meowth who nod their heads in agreement (though they think Elesa is more beautiful)
Back to the battlefield
"This is a 2v2 double battle whoever knocks out either sides Pokemon first is the victor now please send out your Pokemon!" The ref calls as Elesa brings out both of her Pokemon
"Zebstrika and Emogla come out its time to Shine!" Elesa calls bringing out a Zebra like Pokemon and a small flying squirrel Pokemon
"Heh thought so" Leaf says with a smile as she brings out her Pokemon
"Rapidash and Dugtrio I choose you!" Leaf calls bringing out her shiny Rapidash and her Dugtrio
"Let the battle begin!" The ref calls as Elesa makes the first move
"Zebstrika use Thunder Bolt on Rapidash and Emogla use Energy ball on Dugtrio!" Elesa calls as both Pokemon fire their moves
"Rapidash counter with Flamethrower and Dugtrio counter with Tri Attack!" Leaf calls as her Pokemon fire the moves colliding with the Thunder bolt and Energy ball creating an explosion
"Let's shine even more Emogla use Acrobatics on Rapidash and Zebstrika use Flame Charge on Dugtrio!" Elesa calls as Emogla quickly flies and hits Rapidash with Acrobatics injuring the horse as Zebstrika covers its body in flames as it goes after Dugtrio
"Dugtrio counter with Stone Edge!" Leaf calls as Dugtrio summons the stones from the ground, but Zebstrika easily dodges the stone edge shocking Leaf and Dugtrio as Zebstrika hits Dugtrio doing some damage.
"Now that's what I call shining don't you all agree!" Elesa says towards the crowd who roar in excitement
"YEAH, GO ELESA!" "WIN ELESA!" "KEEP SHINEING!" The crowd roars in excitement as Elesa begins to wave
"Man, this is so annoying" Leaf says in frustration as her Pokemon agree
"Come on Leaf Counterattack!" Ash cheers along with Misty and the others (except Brock, Joe and Cilan)
"Alright while she's distracted let's take this chance Rapidash run forward with Flame Charge and Dugtrio support Rapidash with Rockslide!" Leaf calls as her Pokemon nod Rapidash covers itself in fire as it charges forward with Dugtrio summoning Rockslide and making it float alongside Rapidash
"Hey that's an interesting combo I'll do one as well Zebstrika use Wild Charge and Emogla use Iron Tail to destroy the rocks!" Elesa calls as Zebstrika charges forward incasing itself in electricity and Emogla quickly flies ahead of it as it begins to destroy all the Boulders surrounding Rapidash shocking Leaf and Dugtrio. Rapidash and Zebstrika clash as they both begin to fight for dominance pushing each other, Rapidash is physically stronger than Zebstrika so its able to knock the Pokemon back
"Great Rapidash now use Flamethrower!" "Not so fast Emogla use Electro Ball!" Both trainers call as before Rapidash could fire the Flamethrower its hit in the face by the Electro Ball injuring the large horse
"Dugtrio use Tri Attack on Emogla!" Leaf calls as Dugtrio fires the three beams Emogla is able to dodge the first two but is then hit by the last one causing a burn.
"Yes!" Leaf says with a smile
"It's okay we can still shine both of you please use Discharge!" Elesa calls as both Pokemon fire off a giant wave of electricity across the battlefield
"Rapidash quick use Protect!" Leaf calls as Rapidash summons a barrier protecting itself Dugtrio is fine since electric type moves don't affect it. As the Discharge disappears everyone looks at Zebstrika and Emogla who are glowing with electricity
"Now this is what I call shining!" Elesa says happily as the crowd gives a loud cheer again.
"Zebstrika use Thunderbolt on Rapidash and Emogla use Energy ball on Dugtrio" Elesa calls as Zebstrika quickly fires the Thunderbolt shocking Rapidash as the move does a lot of damage and Emogla immediately gets in front of Dugtrio it smiles and throws the ball in Dugtrio's face causing super effective damage Leaf gets a worried look.
"Zebstrika must have the lightning Rod ability which increases its special attack and Emogla must have the motor drive ability which increased its speed even more this is bad if I don't think of something soon, I'm going to lose" Leaf says to herself
"COME ON LEAF YOU'RE NOT DONE YET!" Ash's voice yells as Leaf looks up as she sees not only Ash but everyone (even Brock, Joe, Cilan) cheering her on Leaf smiles
"You have some great friends, but this is my victory" Elesa says with a smile
"Sorry but I'm the one who's going to win Rapidash use Fire Spin and Dugtrio use Stone Edge!" Leaf calls as her Pokemon nod and fire the moves
"Please like this is going to do anything" Elesa says with a smile but notices something the fire spin and stone edge aren't doing damage to her Pokemon there trapping them separating them from each other.
"Oh no!" Elesa says with a shocked look
"Your Pokemon are strong with they fight together but 1v1 I win Rapidash use Flame Charge and Dugtrio use Rockslide!" Leaf calls as Rapidash runs into the fire spin as it hits Zebstrika knocking the zebra on the ground, Emogla tries its best to dodge all of the Rockslide but since it's in an enclosed space some of the rocks hit it doing super effective damage.
"Zebstrika use Thunderbolt and Emogla use Energy ball" "Rapidash use Flame Charge again and Dugtrio dodge with dig" Both trainers call as Zebstrika fires the Thunderbolt Rapidash dodges as it hits Zebstrika again with Flame charge causing damage to the Zebra and greatly increasing Rapidash's speed and Dugtrio dodges the energy ball from Emogla
"We're not done shining, yet Zebstrika use Thunder and Emolga when Dugtrio appears use Energy ball!" Elesa calls as Zebstrika fires the Thunder it does hit something but instead of Rapidash its Dugtrio shocking Elesa.
"Wait if Dugtrio is here then that means oh no Emogla get out of there!" Elesa calls in worry as Leaf smiles
"Sorry but I win Rapidash use Fire Blast and Dugtrio use Earth Power!" Leaf calls as Rapidash appears above Emogla launching the fire blast shocking the flying squirrel as its consumed in flames, Dugtrio cracks the ground towards Zebstraka as it hits the Pokemon. Both of Elesa's Pokemon cry out in pain as they fall on the ground unconscious.
"Zebstrika and Emolga are unable to battle making Leaf the winner!" The ref calls as Leaf and her Pokemon celebrate making Elesa's fans sad.
"Well, I guess I can't shine all the time" Elesa says with a smile as she returns her Pokemon and walks over to Leaf
"You shined brightly today thank you for a great battle" Elesa says with a smile as Leaf nods Elesa then takes Leaf's hand
"All of you give Leaf a round of applause for the amazing battle today she truly shined brightly!" Elesa says as all her fans begin to chant leaf's name the group does the same as Leaf blushes in embarrassment. Both trainers hear the commentator's comments as they go back to their seats as the next match is about to begin with Iris and Ryuki going to their sides of the battlefield smiling at each other.
"Please send out your Pokemon!" the ref calls as Ryuki brings out his Pokemon
"Drampa and Kommo-o its time to rock out!" Ryuki calls bringing out a large dragon Pokemon that has the face of a grandpa and another Pokemon that has scales all over its body
"Excadrill and Dragonite Go!" Iris calls bringing out Excadrill and Dragonite both Pokemon give a mighty roar as the look at their opponents and smile
"Let the battle begin!" The ref calls as Ryuki makes the first move
"Drampa use Dragon Pulse and Kommo-o use Noble Roar!" Ryuki calls as Drampa fires the Dragon Pulse and Kommo-o roars increasing its attack and special attack
"Excadrill block the Dragon Pulse with Metal Claw and Dragonite use Dragon Claw on Kommo-o!" Iris calls as Excadrill blocks Drampa's Dragon Pulse with metal claw, Dragonite flies quickly at Kommo-o with its claws covered in green dragon energy as it hits the scaly dragon in the face causing super effective damage.
"Drampa use Hydro Pump on Excadrill and Kommo-o use Dragon pulse on Dragonite!" Ryuki calls as his Pokemon fire the moves
"Excadrill dodge with Dig and Dragonite use Extreme speed to hit Kommo-o!" Iris calls Excadrill quickly digs underground avoiding the Hydro pump and Dragonite uses extreme speed dodging the Dragon Pulse and hits Kommo-o
"Now Kommo-o use Ice Punch!" Ryuki calls as Kommo-o punches Dragonite in the face with Ice punch doing major damage and making Dragonite mad
"Drampa dodge the Dig and use Hydro Pump on Dragonite!" Ryuki calls as Drampa jumps dodging Excadrill and fires the Hydro Pump at Dragonite making the dragon angrier as it charges forward
"Dragonite wait!" Iris calls but Dragonite is letting its anger consume it as it goes to use Dragon Claw on Kommo-o making Ryuki smile
"Kommo-o dodge then use Dragon Claw and Drampa use Dragon Pulse!" Ryuki calls as Kommo-o dodges Dragonite and hits it with its own Dragon Claw injuring Dragonite, Drampa then comes from behind and lands the Dragon Pulse on Dragonite causing super effective damage as Dragonite falls on the ground injured.
"This is bad he's ignoring Excadrill and putting all his focus on Dragonite" Cilan says
"Come on Iris you got this!" The rest of the group cheer
"Now then let's end this Drampa use Protect and Kommo-o use Clanging Scales!" Ryuki calls as Drampa summons a protective barrier and Kommo-o fires a wave of dragon energy towards the injured Dragonite. Dragonite tries its best to get up but it's struggling it feels terrible that it let its anger consume it and blocking out Iris's commands and now it's going to possibly cost Iris the match it closes its eyes.
"Excadrill get in front of Dragonite and use Protect!" Iris calls as Excadrill gets in front of its teammate and summons a protective barrier protecting both Pokemon from Kommo-o's attack. Dragonite looks on in amazement that its teammate is saving it the attack then stops as Iris speaks to Dragonite.
"Dragonite I know your strong and you love to battle strong opponents by yourself but don't forget we're a team you don't have to do things by yourself please work with me and Excadrill we'll win for sure" Iris says with a smile.
Dragonite looks at its trainer and then back at Excadrill who smiles and nods that what Iris says is the truth, Dragonite smiles it feels stupid it's been with Iris for a year they've won many battles together Dragonite isn't alone it has teammates who'll help it continue to grow.
"Baroow" Dragonite says nodding at Iris and excadrill understanding what they must do to win.
"Alright Dragonite, Excadrill it's time for a counterattack!" Iris states with her Pokemon roaring in agreement
"Heh we'll see about that Kommo-o use Dragon Pulse and Drampa use Hydro Pump!" Ryuki calls as both Pokemon fire their moves
"Excadrill counter the Dragon pulse with Drill Run and Dragonite use Thunder on the Hydro Pump!" Iris calls as Excadrill becomes a drill and destroys the Dragon Pulse, Dragonnite gives a mighty roar as it summons a large electric bolt that destroys Hydro Pump and shocks Drampa.
"Kommo-o use Close Combat on Excadrill!" Ryuki calls as Kommo-o charges forward at the mole Pokemon
"Excadrill use Protect and Dragonite use Dragon Claw!" Iris calls as Excadrill summons a protective barrier that protects it from Kommo-o's attack, Dragonite then comes from behind Excadrill and hits Kommo-o in the face with Dragon Claw injuring the scaly dragon as it stumbles back
"Drampa use Ice Beam on Dragonite!" "Excadrill use Metal Claw on the Ice Beam!" both trainers call as Drampa fires the icy beam Excadrill quickly jumps and slashes the ice beam before it could reach Dragonite.
"Dragonite use Extreme Speed and grab Drampa!" Iris calls
"Kommo-o quick use Ice punch on Dragonite!" "Excadrill use Hone Claws then counter with Metal Claw!" Both trainers call Dragonite roars and quickly flies towards Drampa, Kommo-o gets in front of it and is about to land the Ice Punch, but Dragonite disappears behind Dragonite comes Excadrill who quickly boosted its attack and accuracy with Hone claws as it clashes with Kommo-o with Metal Claw.
Dragonite hits Drampa with extreme speed it then grabs the Pokemon by the neck tossing it towards Kommo-o Excadrill gets out of the way as Drampa crashes into Kommo-o injuring both dragons.
"Now Dragon Pulse!" Iris calls as Dragonite fires the beam of Dragon energy towards the two dragons consuming them and injuring them greatly.
"Yeah, way to go you two!" Iris cheers as Dragonite and Excadrill look at each other and fist bump but they then notice something with Drampa as its glowing red and giving a mighty roar making Ryuki smile.
"Use Hydro Pump!" Ryuki calls as Drampa fires the big stream of water Dragonite is able to dodge but Excadrill was unable to as its hit with the super effective move greatly injured.
"Excadrill are you okay?!" Iris calls with worry in her voice Excadrill groans in pain but is still able to battle as Iris and Dragonite sign in relief.
"My Drampa has the ability Berserk after taking that Dragon Pulse from Dragonite its health was brought down to half activating the ability and increasing its special attack I'm impressed your Excadrill survived most Pokemon would be knocked out" Ryuki says with a smile.
"Now Drampa finish Excadrill with another Hydro Pump!" Ryuki calls as Drampa fires the water towards the injured mole Pokemon
"Dragonite block it!" Iris calls Dragonite quickly flies shielding Excadrill from the move as Ryuki smiles
"Kommo-o finish off Excadrill with Close Combat!" Ryuki calls as Kommo-o charges forward ready to strike Excadrill
"Excadrill dodge with dig!" Iris calls Excadrill groans a little bit but it quickly dives in the ground at last second. A few moments later Excadrill appears from underground knocking Drampa in the air.
"That's great Excadrill now finish it off with Focus Blast!" Iris calls as Excadrill begins to charge the move
"I won't let you Kommo-o use Flash Cannon!" "Dragonite counter with Flamethrower!" Both trainers call as the two dragons fire their moves Dragonite counters Kommo-o's attack as the two beams explode as Excadrill is done charging the focus blast and fires the ball of fighting energy towards Drampa it hits the dragon, Drampa falls on the ground defeated.
"Drampa is unable to battle!" The ref calls as Iris cheers
"Don't celebrate too early Kommo-o use Aura Sphere!" Ryuki calls as Kommo-o quickly fires the blue ball of fighting energy that passes Dragonite and hits Excadrill, the mole Pokemon screams out in pain as it also falls defeated shocking Iris and Dragonite.
"Excadrill is unable to battle both trainers have one Pokemon each!" The ref calls Iris returns Excadrill tells it good job as she looks over at Dragonite.
"Okay Dragonite let's win this for Excadrill!" Iris yells as Dragonite gives a mighty roar
"Let's see which Dragon is stronger get ready Kommo-o!" Ryuki yells as Kommo-o gives a mighty roar as well
"So its come down to this a battle between two very strong dragon types" Cilan says
"Go Iris!" Ash and Leaf cheer as do everyone else, both Iris and Ryuki take a deep breath as they then call for their first attacks.
"Use Dragon Pulse!" Both trainers call both dragons give a mighty roar as they fire the dragon energy at each other the moves collide and explode.
"Use Dragon Claw!" Both trainers call again as Dragonite and Kommo-o charge at each other and begin clashing with their claws trying to hit the other.
"Use Close Combat!" Ryuki calls Kommo-o roars as it begins to punch and kick Dragonite repeatedly it punches Dragonite in the face one more time making it fall on the ground
"Now Dragon Claw!" Ryuki calls Kommo-o goes to strike Dragonite with its claws
"Use Extreme Speed!" Iris calls Dragonite quickly hits Kommo-o in the stomach making the dragon slide back a few feet.
"USE OUTRAGE!" Both trainers call Dragonite and Kommo-o roar as their eyes turn a bright red and their bodies have a red aura, they charge at each other and begin to punch, kick, and bite each other furiously.
"So, this is a battle between dragons" Misty says with a shocked expression
"Man, I hope I get my own Dragon type one day" Ash says with an excited look.
Dragonite and Kommo-o punch each other in the face one more time as they then start to stumble away from each other and are now in a confused state.
"Break out of that confusion Kommo-o and finish this battle with your strongest Clanging Scales!" Ryuki calls Kommo-o is able to break out of the confusion as it begins to charge its attack.
"Come on Dragonite you can break out of that confusion as well!" Iris calls but Dragonite is still confused it then flies high in the air.
"FIRE!" Ryuki calls Kommo-o roars and fires the move towards the air born Dragonite
"DRAGONITE!" iris screams out in worry as she does Dragonite is able to break out of the confusion it sees the Clanging Scales coming towards it not wanting to lose Dragonite gives a mighty roar as it charges at the move shocking everyone.
"Dragonite don't charge in do-" Before Iris could finish Dragonite gives her a quick glance telling her to trust it Iris nods in understanding
"I don't know what you're planning but I believe in you Dragonite!" Iris yells making Dragonite smile it looks on a head and gives a loud roar as it starts to cover its body in blue dragon energy that also has wings and what looks like the face of a dragon this shocks everyone but Iris smiles.
"It's Dragon Rush!" Iris says happily
"What's Dragon Rush?" Ash asks
"The user tackles the target while exhibiting overwhelming menace. This may also make the target flinch." Cilan says Ash nods as he turns back to watch the battle Dragonite entered the Clanging Scales and is heading straight for Kommo-o.
"KOMMO-O ADD MORE POWER!" Ryuki calls as Kommo-o roars increasing the power this blows Dragonite back a little bit, but it still keeps pushing forward.
"GOOOO DRAGONITE!" Iris calls Dragonite gives a mighty roar as it pushes through the Clanging Scales shocking Ryuki and Kommo-o and hits Kommo-o creating an explosion and a large dust cloud.
As the dust clears everyone can see the two dragons standing and glaring at each other everyone is waiting in silence to see who the victor is Kommo-o smiles at Iris's Dragonite as it falls on the ground defeated.
"Kommo-o is unable to battle Ryuki has no more Pokemon left Iris and Dragonite are the winners of this battle!" The ref calls everyone gives a loud cheer as do Iris and Dragonite.
"Congrats Iris!" "Now that's what I call a Dragon battle!" Leaf, Cilan and everyone cheers Iris runs over to Dragonite giving it a hug.
"Thank you Dragonite you were amazing" Iris says looking at the dragon, Dragonite smiles as it flecks its muscles making Iris smile.
"Well, we lost you and Drampa battled hard thank you" Ryuki says to Kommo-o the dragon nods as it goes back to its Pokeball Ryuki walks over to Iris.
"That was an amazing battle you gave me you rock let's battle again one day" Ryuki says as Iris nods and shakes Ryuki's hand they hear the commentator's comments and go back to their seats.
"Now will Brock of Pewter City and Norman of Petelburg City come to the battlefield!" Alex calls Brock nods to his friends as he and his opponent walk down to the battlefield they go to their sides and stare at each other, up in the stands on Norman's side we see two boys one that looks to be around Ash's age but is younger and is wearing a white beanie there's another boy next to him that's clearly younger and is wearing glasses.
"Man, I'm so excited for this battle how about you Max?!" The older boy asks looking at Max
"Me too Brenden Dad's been doing great in this tournament so far I just know he can win" Max says as he looks at his older brother Brenden who nods.
"Yeah, it's too bad mom and May aren't here" Brenden says in a disappointed tone as Max scoffs when he hears May's name
"Please you and me both know May isn't interested in watching battles heck she's not even interested in being a trainer and you two are going to be going on your journeys in two years I wish I could do that" Max says in a disappointed tone.
"It's okay bro you'll be going on a journey in no time" Brenden says patting his younger brother's back as Max nods they both turn to the battlefield
"Both trainers please send out your 2 Pokemon!" The ref calls
"Go Sandshrew and Vulpix!" Brock says bringing out the ground mouse and his Kanto Vulpix
"Go Linoone and Vigoroth!" Norman calls bringing out the two Pokemon not surprising Brock as Norman's mainly been using those two mons and a Pokemon named Spinda throughout the tournament.
"Let the battle begin!" The ref calls as Norman makes the first move
"Linoone use Pin Missile on Vulpix!" Norman calls Linoone roars and fires the pin like missiles towards Vulpix
"Vulpix use Flamethrower and Sandshrew help Vulpix with Rapid Spin!" Brock commands Vulpix fires the flames from its mouth and Sandshrew knocks away the missiles with rapid spin
"Vigoroth use Crush Claw!" Norman calls Vigoroth roars with its claws glowing red as it charges at Sandshrew and Vulpix who are still trying to get rid of the pin missiles
"Dodge!" Brock yells but was too late as Vigoroth hits both Sandshrew and Vulpix knocking them on the ground both Pokemon groan in pain
"Now Rock Smash!" Norman calls Vigoroth glows both its fist in red as it goes to hit both Pokemon
"Vulpix use Quick Attack!" Brock calls Vulpix quickly shoots up hitting Vigoroth in the face
"Now Sandshrew use Rollout!" Brock calls Sandshrew curls into a ball and is about to collide with the Pokemon
"Linoone use Double Edge!" Norman calls as Linoone immediately shoots forward as it collides with Sandshrew knocking the ground mouse towards Brock
"Are you okay Sandshrew?!" Brock asks with Sandshrew nodding
"From the battles I've watched I knew Linoone was fast as it was hard for its opponents to catch it and Vigoroth is not only fast but powerful as well how should I deal with this?" Brock thinks to himself
"If you're not going to attack then I will Vigoroth use Brick Break and Linoone use Night Slash on Vulpix!" Norman calls Vigoroth smacks Vulpix away closer towards Linoone as it prepares to hit the Night Slash
"Vulpix use Protect and Sandshrew use Swords Dance then Rapid Spin!" Brock calls Vulpix quickly summons the protective barrier blocking Linoone's attack, Sandshrew quickly raises its attack and starts to spin towards Linoone
"Use Ice Beam on Sandshrew!" Norman calls "It knows Ice Beam?!" Brock says in shock as Vigoroth fires the Icy Beam knocking Sandshrew in the air making it spin out of control
"Now Vigoroth use Brick Break on Sandshrew!" "Vulpix quick use Quick Attack!" "Linoone use Slash on Vulpix!" Both trainers call their commands Vigoroth jumps in the air readying its Brick Break, Vulpix uses quick attack but Linoone slashes slowing the fox Pokemon down as it reaches Sandshrew with Vigoroth above them.
"Vigor!" The wild monkey yells as it hits the two Pokemon with Brick Break back down to the battlefield.
"Sandshrew, Vulpix!" Brock cries in worry but signs as both Pokemon stand up still ready to battle but are clearly injured.
"Brock's having a hard time out there" Cilan says
"Yeah, this Norman guy is tough" Ash says
"Do you know anything about Norman Ritchie?" Misty asks as she and everyone else look at him
"Yes he's a really strong gym leader in the Hoenn region before I started my journey in Kanto after I captured the Pokemon I wanted in Hoenn I wanted to test my skills against him I almost lost but Sparky was able to defeat his Vigoroth and even though I wasn't going to compete in the Hoenn league Norman gave me a badge anyway" Ritchie says as he shows the badge to everyone its grey and has two circles that counter balance each other shocking the group.
"Whoa so this means you have 5 badges instead of 4" Giselle says as Ritchie nods
"True but Hoenn badges don't count in the Kanto league, so I still need to get my 5th Kanto badge" Ritchie responds
"Man, Ritchie you're amazing I really can't wait to battle you" Ash says
"Yeah, I'm excited to battle you as well Ash" Ritchie responds smiling at Ash as they turn their heads to watch the battle
"Let's finish this Vigoroth use Brick Break and Linoone use Pin Missile!" Norman calls as Vigoroth begins to charge and Linoone fires the pin like missiles
"Sandshrew use Sandstorm to hide yourself and Vulpix!" Brock calls Sandshrew gives a might yell as it summons a large storm of sand that covers the battlefield that hides Vulpix and Sandshrew.
"Linoone wash that Sandstorm away with Surf, Vigoroth get behind Linoone and use Protect!" Norman calls Vigoroth quickly gets behind its teammate summoning the protective barrier as Linoone roars summoning a massive wave of water that destroys the Sandstorm as the water and sand vanish Sandshrew and Vulpix are gone.
"Now where did they go?" Norman says as he and his Pokemon try looking for Sandshrew and Vulpix
"Vulpix use Flamethrower and Sandshrew use Strength!" Brock calls as both Pokemon appear under Linoone and Vigoroth shooting both Pokemon in the air Vulpix lands the flamethrower on Linoone not only damaging it but also causing burn damage, Sandshrew bulks up its body as it punches Vigoroth in the face causing damage as it and Linoone fall back on the battlefield in pain.
"Vigoroth, Linoone!" Norman says in concern looking at his two Pokemon groaning in pain he then looks at Brock and smiles.
"I must say young man that was very clever using Sandstorm as a distraction so Sandshrew and Vulpix can dig underground, and you knew I would be able to get rid of the Sandstorm as well and once I did that gave you the opening you needed" Norman says as Brock smiles and nods his head in confirmation
"Yep, this is our counterattack let's win this Vulpix, Sandshrew!" Brock calls as both Pokemon cry out ready to battle as Norman smiles
"Sandshrew use Sword's dance again then use Rapid Spin on Vigoroth and Vulpix use Fire Spin on Linoone!" Brock calls as Sandshrew quickly increases its attack and starts spinning towards Vigoroth, Vulpix shoots out the fire from its mouth
"Vigoroth use Ice beam on Sandshrew and Linoone use Thunder bolt on Vulpix!" Norman calls Vigoroth fires the icy beam towards Sandshrew but Sandshrew dodges and hits Vigoroth in the stomach Linoone suffers from burn damage but is still able to fire the Thunder bolt but the beam of electricity gets destroyed Linoone is now trapped in the fire spin and is getting damaged
"Linoone quick break free with Surf!" "Vulpix quick use Agility then use Flamethrower again!" Vigoroth stop Vulpix with Water Pulse!" "Sandshrew counter with Swift!" Both trainers call Vulpix quickly dashes forward Vigoroth fires the water pulse but is destroyed by Sanshrew's swift allowing Vulpix to jump inside the fire spin before Linoone could use Surf as it launches the Flamethrower from its mouth burning the Pokemon Linoone cries out in pain. As the fire spin disappears Linoone is on the ground it tries to get up but suffers from burn damage one more time and falls back down not getting up again.
"Linoone is unable to battle Norman has one Pokemon left!" The ref calls as the crowd roars Brock and his Pokemon celebrate Norman is shocked but smiles as he returns Linoone to its Pokeball telling it good job.
"What how could Linoone lose? It barely took any damage if it wasn't for the burn damage Linoone would've won" Max says in annoyed tone
"True, but this Brock guy also used to be a gym leader he came up with a good strategy to take out Dads Linoone, but dad still has Vigoroth left" Brenden responds as Max nods
"Alright Vigoroth it's up to you now!" Norman says as Vigoroth roars
"Sandshrew, Vulpix be careful!" Brock says as the two Pokemon nod
"Use Bulk up then Focus energy!" Norman calls as Vigoroth roars bulking up its body then tightening its focus
"Looks like Norman's planning on ending this soon" Ritchie says
"GO BROCK!" Ash, Misty and everyone cheer except for Kiawe who is solely focused on the battle.
"Vigoroth use Brick Break!" Norman calls as the bulked up Vigoroth charges forward
"Sandshrew counter with Streagth and Vulpix use Willo Wisp!" Brock calls as Sandshrew quickly bulks up its body and collides with Vigoroth Vulpix launches the 5 purple flames at Vigoroth successfully burning it this allows Sandshrew to knock the Pokemon away.
"Vigo" Vigororth says in pain
"Hang in there Vigoroth use Earthquake!" Norman calls Vigoroth stomps its foot down on the ground shaking the battlefield the move doesn't do much to Sandshrew but it greatly injures Vulpix as it begins to breathe heavily.
"Now get close to Vulpix and use Slash!" "Sandshrew quick use Rapid Spin to stop Vigoroth!" "Knock Sandshrew away!" Norman calls Sandshrew quickly spins towards Vigoroth but the wild monkey easily knocks it away as it reaches the weaken Vulpix as it begins to Slash it.
"Use Flamethrower!" Brock calls Vulpix gives one last Ko as it fires the stream of hot fire consuming Vigoroth the monkey yells in pain but pushes through the fire as it slashes Vulpix making the fire fox skid back to Brock knocked out.
"Vulpix is unable to battle both trainers have one Pokemon each!" The ref calls as Brock picks up Vulpix
"Thank you Vulpix you battled hard Susie would be proud of you" Brock says smiling at the little fox who nods Brock then returns Vulpix to its Pokeball.
"Alright Sandshrew lets end this battle use Swords Dance!" Brock calls as Sandshrew increases its attack to the max
"Vigoroth use Bulk Up again!" Norman calls as Vigoroth roars bulking up its body even more than before
"USE STRENGTH!" Brock and Norman call as Sandshrew and Vigoroth yell bulking up their bodies as they charge forward and collide
"SHREW!" "VIGO!" both Pokemon yell as they try to push the other back Vigoroth is about to win but suffers burn damage giving Brock and Sandshrew the opening they need.
"GOOOO SANDSHREW!" "SHREWWWWWWWW!" Brock yells as does Sandshrew the ground mouse pushes hard with all its might as its able to hit Vigoroth in the stomach sending it flying pass Norman and crashing into the wall the monkey slides down knocked out.
"Vigoroth is unable to battle Sandshrew is the winner allowing Brock to move on to the next round!" The ref calls as Brock and Sandshrew cheer loudly at their victory and so does the crowd.
"Way to go Sandshrew you were amazing!" Brock says hugging the little ground mouse Sandshrew smiles back at its trainer it then starts to glow a bright white.
"Sandshrew?" Brock says putting the ground mouse down as it starts to get bigger growing quills on its back and its claws to get longer once the evolution stops what was once a Sandshrew is now a Sandslash it gives a mighty yell once it's done evolving as everyone is left speechless but begin to cheer again.
"So that's a Sandslash" Ash says as he, Leaf and Ritchie scan the Pokemon with their Pokedex's
"Sandslash, the Mouse Pokémon. The evolved form of Sandshrew. It attacks opponents with the quills on its back." The Pokedex says
"That's amazing Sandslash you've evolved!" Brock says happily as Sandslash nods as it hugs its trainer, Norman returns Vigoroth and walks over to Brock and Sandslash
"That was an amazing battle young man thank you for the battle" Norman says with a smile
"Thank you I enjoyed todays battle as well" Brock says with a smile as he and Norman shake hands they hear the commentator's comments on the battle and go to their seats Brock is congratulated by his friends and Norman reaches his sons Brenden really enjoyed the battle and Max is disappointed that his dad lost.
"You would've won if Linoone and Vigoroth didn't get burned" Max says in an annoyed tone
"Come on Max don't be like that me and my Pokemon battled hard and there's no guarantee I would've won if my Pokemon weren't burned" Norman says as Brenden agrees, Max then nods as Norman sits next to his sons, he asks them a question.
"So, who do you boys think will win the tournament?" Norman asks
"I'm going to say Iris, Kiawe or that Ritchie kid he defeated you and is from Hoenn as well" Max responds
"Great choices what about you Brenden?" Norman asks looking at the boy who's in deep thought after a few moments he gives his answer
"I'm going to say the Ash kid from Pallet town, I just have a feeling he's going to win the whole thing" Brenden responds with a smile as Brenden and Max look at him curiously
"Hmmm now that I think about it, I believe he's Red Ketchum's son" Norman says shocking Max
"You mean THE Red Ketchum the one who helped train you when you were younger, he defeated champion Drake at the time, but also trained our current champion Steven Stone?!" Max says with stars in his eyes with Norman nodding making Max more excited.
"So far he's been doing really well let's see if your feeling is right Brenden" Norman says looking at his son with Brenden nodding.
After Brocks and Norman's battle three battles go by where Diamond from Twinleaf town, Hilbert from Nuvema Town and Hilda also from Nuvema town (She's Hilbert's twin sister) won their battles easily shocking the group Diamond used his Monferno and Luxray (which Ash really likes), Hilbert used his Dewott and Throh and Hilda used her Pignite and Tranquil Cilan comments on Hilbert and Hilda saying they're both strong trainers that defeated him and his brother Chilly in a gym battle.
"Now will Misty the fourth gym leader of Cerulean City and Burgh the gym leader from Castelia City please come to the battlefield!" The ref calls as both trainers walk to the battlefield and go to their sides, Burgh is a tall man wearing a green shirt with brown pants and has brown hair he smiles and bows to Misty.
"Please send out your two Pokemon!" The ref calls Misty sends out her two Pokemon
"Dewgong, Golisopod I choose you!" Misty calls bringing out the big seal and a large bug Pokemon both Pokemon appear ready to battle Burgh is in awe of Golisopod.
"Such an amazing Pokemon please you have to let it model for me so I can paint it on a canvas once this battle is over" Burgh says with a smile
"Ugh sure" Misty says
"Here are my Pokemon go Leavanny and Escavalier!" Burgh calls bringing out the two bug types not surprising Misty as she's seen Burgh use these Pokemon in his previous battles but both bug types scare her causing Burgh to give a slight chuckle.
"Let the battle begin!" The ref calls as Misty makes the first move
"Golisopod use First Impression on Leavanny!" Misty calls "Get in front of Leavanny Escavalier!" Burgh calls Golisopod disappears as it reappears in front of Leavanny it goes to hit it but Escavalier gets in the way and blocks the attack shocking Golisopod and Misty.
"My Escavalier has very tough armor, but you probably already know that since you've seen it battle now Leavanny use Energy Ball!" Burgh calls as Leavanny jumps as fires the ball of grass energy towards Dewgong
"Counter with Ice Beam!" Misty calls as Dewgong fires the Icy beam getting rid of the Energy Ball
"Escavalier use Poison Jab!" "Golisopod counter with Liquidation!" Misty and Burgh call as both Pokemon collide there's an explosion as both bugs slide back to their trainers
"Such power!" Burgh says to Golisopod
"Dewgong use Ice Shard on Leavanny!" Misty calls as Dewgong quickly fires the shards of Ice towards Leavanny
"Leavanny dodge with Double Team then use Calm Mind and Escavalier use Swords Dance!" Burgh calls Leavanny dodges the Ice Shard and begins to calm its mind raising its Special Attack and Defense while Escavalier increases its attack sharply.
"Now Escavalier use Iron Head on Dewgong and Leavanny use Leaf Storm on Golisopod!" Burgh calls as Escavalier shoots forward covering its head in steel energy as it goes pass Golisopod and hits Dewgong doing super effective damage while Leavanny uses Leaf Storm to do some damage to Golisopod but the armored bug is able to block most of the attack
"Now Excavalier use Iron Head again!" "Dewgong use Protect then Ice Beam!" Both trainers call as Escavalier covers its body in steel energy and begins charging at Dewgong but Dewgong is able to Protect itself with Protect blocking the attack
"Now Blizzard, Golisopod jump!" Misty calls as Dewgong fires the blizzard consuming Escavalier the move also goes towards Levanny and Golisopod. Golisopod quickly jumps out of the way dodging the blizzard as the move hits Leavanny doing super effective damage on the grass bug.
"Use Iron Head!" "Use Liquidation!" Both trainer's call as before Escavalier can use the move Golisopod falls from the sky and hits the Pokemon in the head hard with the water sword causing it to fall on the ground.
"Leavanny use Sunny Day then Solorbeam!" Burgh calls as the weakened Leavanny summons the bright sun and quickly fires the beam that's heading straight for Dewgong
"Block it Golisopod!" Misty calls as Golisopod gets in front of Dewgong and begins to block the Solorbeam with the armor on its arms the Solorbeam is pushing it back a little
"Now Escavalier use Poison Jab on Golisopod's leg!" Burgh calls Escavalier quickly gets up as it covers its lance arm in poison and hits Golisopod's leg causing the big bug to loosen its grip on the Solorbeam as the move hits the bug causing Golisopod to fly back and hit Dewgong.
"Golisopod, Dewgong!" Misty calls in worry as the two-mons groan in pain they get up, but Golisopod is now poisoned
"It's now time for the final curtain Excavalier use Iron Head and Leavanny use Leaf Storm!" Burgh calls Excavalier covers its head in steel energy as it flies forward, Leavanny launches the Leaf storm that surround Excavalier as it charges towards Golisopod and Dewgong.
"Golisopod jump then use Agua Jet and Dewgong use Sheer Cold!" Misty calls shocking Burgh as Golisopod suffers from poison but quickly jumps in the air and covers its body in water as it shoots forward towards Leavanny, Dewgong gives a mighty roar as it fires the Sheer Cold that freezes Excavalier and knocks it out, Golisopod is now above Leavanny as it has its claws ready.
"Now finish with Poison Jab!" Misty calls as Golisopod quickly covers its claw in poison and jabs Leavanny in the stomach causing super effective damage as Leavanny is pushed down to the ground it coughs but then faints right after.
"Leavanny and Excavalier are both unable to battle Burgh has no more Pokemon left Misty is the winner and will move to the next round!" The ref calls as Misty and her Pokemon celebrate as the crowd roars in excitement.
"Way to go Misty!" Ash and everyone (even Giselle) cheer loudly at Misty's victory with Ash cheering the loudest.
"Sign I lost but this was a good experience" Burgh says as he returns his Pokemon and thanks them, he then walks over to Misty whose petting her Pokemon.
"Must say I thought I was going to win but you were able to defeat me well done young lady" Burgh says with a smile as Misty nods they shake hands hear the commentator's comments on the battle and go back to their seats.
"Now will Ritchie of Littleroot Town and Fantina the Hearthome city gym leader please come to the battlefield!" The ref calls both trainers go to their sides of the battlefield Fantina is a tall woman wearing a purple dress and has violet hair, the two trainers smile at each other and get their Pokeball's ready.
"I wonder which two Pokemon Ritchie is going to use today?" Leaf asks curiously
"I don't think he's using Zippo today otherwise Charmeleon would've came out of its Pokeball" Ash says
"If I were to guess I would say maybe his Duskull and Mighthyena they are both super effective against ghost types" Cilan says with everyone nodding as they were thinking the same thing
"Please send out your Pokemon!" The ref calls as Fantina sends out her Pokemon first
"Drifblim, Mismagius its time to start the show" Fantina sends out both Pokemon Drifblim looks like a big balloon and Mismagius has a purple body and is wearing a witch's hat both Pokemon look at Ritchie ready to battle.
"So, as I thought Go Gem and Steel!" Ritchie calls as a small dark bipedial Pokemon appears with gems on its stomach and its eyes are gems as well. Next to it is a four-legged armored Pokemon it gives a roar ready to battle, the group are surprised by Ritchie's choices as Ash and Leaf scan the new Pokemon.
"Sableye, the Darkness Pokémon. A Dark and Ghost type. Sableye's jeweled eyes shine with an eerie light that can strike fear into the spirits of living beings." "Lairon, the Iron Armor Pokémon A Steel/Rock type. It digs up iron ore for food and smashes its steely body up against others in battles over territory." The Pokedex says
"Let the battle begin!" The ref calls as Fantina makes the first move
"Mismagius use Mystical fire on Larion and Drifblin use Willo Wisp on Sableye!" "Steel use Protect, and Gem take the Willo Wisp!" Both trainers call Steel protects itself from the Mystical fire and Gem is hit by Willo Wisp, but the gem Pokemon isn't fazed as it smiles.
"Steel use Stone Edge!" Ritchie calls Larion gives a mighty roar as it stomps its foot down creating large sharp stone pillar's heading towards the two ghost types.
"Dodge gracefully both of you!" Fantina calls as Mismagius is able to gracefully dodge the stone edge, Drifblim on the other hand is having trouble as its hit by one of the pillars.
"What's wrong Drifb-" Before Fantina could finish she gets her answer as Drifblim is covered in flames her eyes grow in shock.
"But how? Drifblim wasn't burned unless does your Sableye have Magic Bounce?!" Fantina asks as Ritchie nods in confirmation.
"What's Magic Bounce Brock?" Ash asks as he and everyone looks at him
"It's an ability that Reflects status moves instead of getting hit by them." Brock responds
"So, when Sableye got hit by Willo Wisp earlier it immediately bounced the move back towards Drifblim?" Sophocles asks with Brock nodding in confirmation
"Wow dad did you know about that?" Brenden asks as he and Max look to their father
"Nope you two weren't there at the time but in my battle against Ritchie he didn't use Sableye instead he used Pikachu, Grovyle and –" Norman was about to reveal the last Pokemon but he and his sons hear an explosion as they turn to the battlefield it seems as though Drifblim was hit by a powerful Hex from Sableye and is now knocked out.
"Drifblim is unable to battle Fantina now has one Pokemon left!" The ref calls as Fantina returns the Pokemon and tells it thank you.
"You are a skilled trainer tell me how long you have been on your journey?" Fantina asks as Ritchie thinks
"5 months" Ritchie says not surprising Fantina but it does shock the group
"Wow so Ritchie started his journey 2 months before we did it's no wonder, he's so strong" Leaf says as Ash nods.
"Mismagius use Mystical fire on Larion!" "Gem use Shadow Sneak!" Before Mismagius could fire the Mystical flames Sableye's eyes glow in ghost energy as a shadowy figure appears behind Mismagius and slaps it in the face making the Pokemon fall towards the ground.
"Now Steel use Rockslide!" Ritchie calls as Steel gives a mighty roar as large boulders fall from the sky and begin to hit Mismagius causing major damage to the Pokemon as it falls on the ground.
"Mismagius!" Fantina calls worriedly as the dust clears Fantina sees Mismagius its struggling to float in the air the Pokemon looks at Larion and Sableye one last time before it floats down to the ground defeated.
"Mismagius is unable to battle Fantina has no more Pokemon left making Ritchie from Littleroot Town the winner and move on to the next round!" The ref calls as Ritchie and his Pokemon cheer the crowd is left speechless for a few moments but begin to clap and cheer.
"He defeated Fantina that easily I've heard she's a really strong gym leader in the Sinnoh region" Cilan says with a shock expression
"Throughout the tournament Ritchie has proven time and time again that he's strong, now that we're getting close to the end it seems he's going to go all out from here on" Kiawe says with a serious expression
"If Ritchie's going all out then I'll go all out as well right Pikachu, Raichu" Ash says with a determined look in his eyes as the two mouse Pokemon spark their cheeks in agreement, back at the battlefield Fantina returned Mismagius and walked over to Ritchie
"You did really well besting me in battle today I hope you're able to win it all" Fantina says with a smile as Ritchie nods, they both shake each other's hands hear the commentator's comments and go back to their seats.
"Now let's move on to our next match its Larry wait is this right?" Alex says as he's looking at the paper again, he shrugs
"There's been a change for the next battle it'll be a 2v2 tag battle between Justin and Larry vs Ash and Kiawe!" Alex calls shocking everyone
"What a tag battle?!" Ash and Kiawe say in shock
"Why did they change the rules all of a sudden?" Mallow asks
"I think the answer is obvious it happened in my battle as well" Joe states as he and everyone look down towards Justin and Larry who are smirking and walking towards the battlefield
"Of course, they would do something like this" Lana says in anger
"Come Ash let's go" Kiawe says as Ash nods his head
"Wait! are you two really going to accept this?" Giselle asks as Ash and Kiawe look at her
"Of course," They both say with a serious expression
"But it could be a trap" Iris says
"That's obvious but this makes things easier for us" Kiawe says
"Yeah, with me and Kiawe working together we'll be unstoppable" Ash says with a smile
"But you two have never battled together before are you sure this is the right move?" Ritchie asks
"I'm sure we'll figure something out" Ash responds with Kiawe nodding
"Well in that case you two better win" Misty says with a determined look with Brock and Leaf doing the same
"Yeah, if it's you two I'm sure you can win" Joe says with Sophocles nodding
"Yep, well pay those guys back for what they did to your Pokemon" Ash says looking at Joe and Sophocles the two boys then head to the battlefield
"Good luck you two" Misty says in her mind.
Ash and Kiawe have made it to the battlefield they go to the side opposite of Justin and Larry they give the two men a serious glare while Justin and Larry are smiling.
"So, who gave you guys the approval for making this battle a tag battle instead?" Kiawe asks
"Why no other than Mr. Goodshow himself" Larry responds as Ash, Kiawe and the commentator's look at the old man as he nods in confirmation.
"Last night me and Larry walked to Mr. Goodshow's office and proposed this battle to him, and he agreed the only condition would be that there wouldn't be a repeat of my battle with that Joe kid" Justin says with a smile.
"Well, that's fine with us we'll defeat you two and get revenge for our friends" Ash says as he and Kiawe get their Pokeball's ready
"Sign you really are naïve we'll crush you two" Justin responds as he and Larry take out their Pokeball's
"This will be a 2v2 tag battle all four trainers are allowed to use 2 Pokemon each the winning team is the one that has 2 or 1 Pokemon left standing now bring out your first Pokemon!" The ref calls as Justin and Larry send out their Pokemon first.
"Go Weezing!" "Let's crush them Hypno!" Both trainers call sending out their Pokemon
"Alright Ash let's do this!" Kiawe says as Ash agrees as they also send out their Pokemon
"Salazzle Go!" " Krabby I choose you!" Kiawe and Ash send out the two mons they both look ready to battle.
"So, you're using a weak little Krabby against us talk about dumb hehehe" Larry says with a laugh
"I wouldn't underestimate my Krabby if I were you its trained hard and is really strong" Ash says with Krabby agreeing
"Hmph whatever the outcome of this battle is decided with us winning" Justin responds

"Now let the 2v2 tag battle begin!" The ref calls as all 4 trainers call their moves

"Hmph not bad" Justin says with a smirk
"We're not done yet" Ash says as he calls for his next move
Everyone is closely watching this battle who will come on top. The battle from here on out will get more intense

"We'll be the ones who'll win!" All four trainers say in their minds as they continue to battle.
This is where we are going to leave off for right now. I didn't really spend a lot of time on Ritchie's battle since I feel there was no need to. This chapter we learned a little bit more about Ritchie he's a really strong trainer and in these next three rounds we'll finally see all the Pokemon he has. Who do you guys' think is the third Pokemon Ritchie used against Norman? Its none of the other Pokemon he's showed off so far.
Were you surprised I made Ash and Kiawe vs Justin and Larry a tag battle were you guys expecting it? At first, I wasn't going to do this, but I feel it makes since it makes this match up exciting and, so I don't have to write both battles. Did you expect to see Max and Brenden? I introduced them early and do you guys think Brenden is right that Ash will win the tournament? The next chapter will mainly focus on the tag battle, and we'll also start round 5.
