I still remember the world

It was a stormy night. Yumi watched her violater leave. She lay on the cold floor of the factory blood seeping between her thighs and covered in cuts, bruises and scratches. The previous horrible event played over and over in her head like a record without end. She could still feel those disgusting hands on her body. She curled up into a ball sobbing and trying to keep warm. It started to rain and she felt colder than ever. Faintly she could hear footsteps and knew her friends were coming.

Yumi was taken home. All the way she couldn't stop crying. She felt dirty and cold and abused. She didn't know how she could ever go anywhere near a guy again. Even now it was Aeilita that had to help her home while Ulrich, Odd and Jeremy lagged behind. Jeremy had found an anti virus and materialized Aeilita. Before they could shut off Xana though Xana had transported himself and Yumi into an alternate world and violated her while her friends tried to get her back to their world so they could shut him down.

Yumi spent a whole week in her room. All through the week her friends stopped by but she refused to speak to anyone. Her only comfort was the rain that had not ceased falling. Yumi cried herself to sleep every night.

She wanted to die. She didn't want to remember the pain she felt. She bathed almost six times a day but never felt clean. Her parents were worried because she refused to eat. "Yumi come down and eat dear you'll die of starvation." her mother would say. And still Yumi refused. The truth was she wanted to die. She wished to be gone from the world so she could be free of the nightmares, the pain and the feeling of helplessness.

Yumi decided it was time to end it all. She walked into her parents room. She kissed her mother's forehead and bowed to her father praying to Kami-sama to take care of them after she was gone. Then she walked out into the night. She didn't exactly know where she was headed.

She ended up at the place of her violation, the factory. Yumi thought back to all the good times she had with her friends. Nervously she reached into her yukata and pulled out a hidden dagger. She lay down and slowly slit her wrists. The red substance seeping out of her didn't phase her at all instead she found it comforting.

With the last of her strength she wrote on the elevator door "I'm sorry" and lay back down. The rain stopped and the sun shone through making her face look angelic.

I still remember...

With a smile on her face she took her last breath.
