Severus reached his private study in the dungeons, fear gripping his heart the last he heard about Harry was before Vernon died. Out of impulse, he walked over to his fireplace and threw in a pinch of floo powder, saying, "Snakes haven," almost at once, Narcissa Malfoys face appeared.

"Severus, is everything all right? You look as if someone has died." She said before adding, "Come through; Draco and Lucius will be glad to see you." As soon as she finished, her face disappeared, and Severus stepped through stepping into the parlor of Malfoy manor. No sooner had he come to a stop. Severus was engulfed in a hug by his godson. Happy to see him, he returned the hug before shaking Lucius's hand and kissing Narcissa on the cheek before they all adjourned to the sitting room.

Once everyone was seated, Severus told them what he had heard from Headmistress McGonagall Lucius began pacing as memories of fighting alongside James in the Auror corps before going into the political side of the ministry of magic and being elected Minster of magic. "Severus, nothing has been brought to my desk. I can make inquiries at work. However, I can not promise to find anything." To which Snape nodded, knowing full well Lucius would go to the ends of the earth for James's son, whom he saw as his own.

Draco thought before going to the sitting room floo with his mother's permission and floo called Daphne Greengrass. He began explaining to her what he knew. "Harry is here, Draco, and we can come through if you wish. We have news of our own to share." She said before disappearing and reappearing with Harry and coming through, surprising everyone. "Minster of Magic, it is good to see you and Mrs. Malfoy your home is as lovely as ever," Daphne said to the elder Malfoys, noticing Professor Snape.

"I do think introductions are in order." Lucius said before shaking his hand and continuing, "Mister Potter, I am Lucius Malfoy, and yes, I am the Minster of magic; this lady beside me is my wife Narcissa, and this is our son Draco; he is your age. Last time we saw you was but a baby when I fought alongside your father in the Auror corps. And this man in the black robes is potions professor Severus Snape; he was friends with your mother and is your adopted uncle since your mother's family took him in at thirteen, but that is not my story to share. Snape looked at Harry, and he could not believe how much he looked like James yet had his mother's eyes. What is the news you came to share?" He said, taking a breath. Harry nodded as Narcissa directed them to sit on the sofa.

"Sir, I apologize if we are interrupting; we can come back later," Harry said as Daphne nodded in agreement.

"Nonsense, you are welcome in our home anytime," Narcissa said before noticing the lord ring on Harry's hand. "I do believe I owe you apologize, Lord Potter." She added, pointing to Harry's ring.

Everyone had differing expressions of surprise on their faces at the news. Daphne blushed and responded, "That is part of the news we came to share. This morning we woke up to find we have a unique soul bond and are magically married, making Harry now my husband and emancipating us, giving him access to his title as Lord of House Potter. As Draco and I are close friends, I wanted to tell him, and since you all knew my husband's family, I thought you would like to see him." She said, holding his hand as she spoke.

Severus was the first to congratulate the newlyweds. "Harry, I am glad to see you alive it is a relief to see I worried for nothing." He said before hugging the couple. "I believe I should go. I still must prepare for the start of term, and if possible, Harry, I would like to visit with you before then."

Harry nodded and said, "yes, that is fine with me. I am staying with the Greengrass family; send me an owl." Severus could only smile as he left, hearing Lily in his voice. After Snape left, Harry and Daphne stayed for a couple of hours talking about what they were looking forward to at school and what Harry's family was like before going home exhausted. When they arrived home, they quietly made their way to their room; not even bothering to change, they promptly fell asleep.

The following day Harry and Daphne woke up around lunchtime; when they came downstairs, they were surprised to see Professor Snape at the kitchen table with Nathan and Myra talking. Snape stood up and slowly approached Harry as he spoke, saying, "Harry, I am your adopted uncle. I grew up with your mother and aunt. Just like Myra here, I was good friends with your mom, and I was a good acquaintance of your father. I remember the day your mom told me she was pregnant with you. To say she was nervous is an understatement." He smiled as Myra nodded, remembering their several conversations at work.

After a quick breakfast, Harry and Severus adjourned to the garden; before Harry could get a word out, Severus said, "Harry, before you say anything, I want to apologize. I should have been there for you sooner. Your uncle Vernon wherever he may be, did not like me and threatened to kill me if I ever stepped foot on his property again to see you." Harry could see the sincerity in his eyes as he spoke; words escaped him; all he could do was hug Severus as he heard Emerald singing from a little way off.

"I know you are telling the truth, sir; I can see it in your eyes," Harry said with a neutral tone before hugging Severus and showing his emotions and crying. In the background, unknown to the two, a spirit from generations gone by was watching their decedent, curious if he was the one mentioned in the ancient prophecy.
