Hello everyone. I am Shippuden Generator and this is my RWBY and Generator Rex crossover story. Back in 2019 or 18, i found an image of Leone from Akame ga Kill and this other blonde girl called Yang from RWBY. I was a little curious about the picture so i looked a little into this character named Yang and soon found the show RWBY. When i watched the first season, i loved it. It was action packed and was an interesting animated show. Soon, i began to think about creating a story with Generator Rex and when i made my first few chapters, i went on to seeing the rest of the show and boy, there were some things I wasn't expecting, both good and bad. I won't lie, there are a lot of problems with this show and i plan to try and fix some of them while following the story.

"Ok so here's the recap, for those that are behind on the times. My name is Rex Salazar. And I just saved the whole entire world from complete world control and cured the whole world of monstrous creatures called Evos. You're welcome. All in a days work. But before that, let's recap what happened before. Starting with the project that changed the world. Or it was suppose to."

"More than 5 years ago, several scientists and engineers wanted to work on a project to save the world. My brother, Caesar, and parents, Rafael and Violeta, were some of the people working on this project with other scientists. They soon began to work on these little microscopic machines called nanites."

They were supposed to help save the world. To help cure disease, fix injures, end world hunger. All the things that the world needed."

"I was very young when all of this was going down. I was merely there at their workplace so my parents could keep an eye on me. But then I had a terribly accident, and the only way to save me was a supply of nanites. It was a risky move but my parents were desperate to save me so they injected some into me. The nanites they injected were the first batch to be made, so it was unclear what could happen. But it worked, and it seemed i was ok, but only for a while."

"The uhh...side effects came a bit later when they were injected into me."

"With the injection of nanites, I was able do strange things but I can't remember everything that must've happened. But I was able to control them. The people and my parents were amazed by what I could do. They tried several tests to see what I could do and they seemed to be amazed by them, but for some, it was for the wrong reasons."

"Before my accident, a splinter group was forming at the original lab in a place called Abysus where the Nanites were being programmed. A group of people that funded the project, who were secretly called the Consortium, saw the nanites as a way get their own set of powers. And after seeing as how I could control them and tell them what to do, my brother and parents had hoped that seeing that the nanites could be used for good, but they were wrong. The Consortium saw this more as an opportunity and took it."

"They had secretly had other scientists make a special creation of nanites that were able to control the elements of the universe."

"Gravity, space and time, matter and anti-matter, energy, and mechanics. With all of these 5 powers, you could become a god."

"But my parents and brother soon found out about their plan. They were horrified that their world saving creation was going to destroy it. They had to stop the Consortium's plans, but they were running out of time to the point that they knew that there was only one way to save the earth from the Consortium's terrible plan. To release all of the nanites to the earth so then the meta-nanites would be spread out so far it would take forever to find them. But there was one problem."

"All the nanites in the chamber they were keeping them in were unfinished, not completely finished being programmed, like the first batch I had. None of the nanites were ready and my folks weren't sure what might happen or what they might do to people, but they didn't have a choice. Time was running out."

"It was either let the Consortium rule the world or unleash all the nanites and spread the meta ones out across the world."

"They chose option 2. And it worked."

"Unfortunately, our parents were in the reactor when it happened so they didn't make it and died in the explosion."

"The reactor exploded and sent the nanites everywhere around the world, infecting everyone and everything that had a pulse. Even viruses."

"My brother, Caesar, managed to escape the building explosion, but I didn't know where he ended up. Heck, I didn't even know he even existed."

"Why you ask? Because after the lab exploded, I ended up with amnesia and couldn't remember anything after that. When I awoke, I could not remember anything but my name. I don't remember what happened but I soon learned that I ended up traveling through most of Asia. Then I ended up in Hong Kong."

"I soon became a leader of a group in Hong Kong with my friends Squid, Cricket, and Tuck. And from what I've learned from them, I was supposedly having a fun time. But it turns out, I abandoned them for my own freedom and gave them to a evil business man named Quarry. I'm glad I don't remember that because I don't like to think that I was once that awful."

"Back on track, after the explosion happened, all the unfinished nanites spread to the entire planet and got into every living thing. Humans, plants, animals. Some times bacteria."

"They transformed these things into giant mutant monsters. But we call them Evos, which is short for Exponentially Variegated Organism. Yea, real glad that we chose the name EVOS and not that overly complicated name. As it turns out, my parents weren't wrong. Bad things did happen to people when the nanites activated. Instead of curing people, they reacted in the opposite way and mutated people at a great rate, giving them creepy figures when fully emerged.

And trust me, they are nasty looking."

"But not all of them came out ugly, because there is one Evo that's very handsome, awesome, and can lift a truck with only one super giant metal hand. No surprise, it's me. Your very own stud deluxe in one super awesome, Evo stomping package."

"Anyways, when these Evos started popping up all over the place and causing havoc, the world was thrown into a panic. And in that panic, a government agency known as Providence was created to deal with the Evos. They were told to capture and cure Evos. Or kill them if they got out of hand."

"Then one day they went up against something that wasn't an Evo. It was a giant super robot, with a sword on the right arm and cannons on its shoulders."

"That giant robot turned out to be yours truly. I don't know what happened but I lost control of my nanites and they turned me into an awesome robot. But not cool how I caused a lot of damage to peoples homes. Good thing I don't remember it."

"They tried to shoot me down, but I fought back harder and nearly won. Then came in the most awesome ninja swordsman in the world."

"Agent Six, the sixth deadliest man on the planet and kick butt action ninja agent, who took me down with one stab in the shoulder. Sad, huh. I had huge mechanical robot body with giant weapons and yet was defeated by a man who didn't even make it in the top 5 of craziest assassins. Unfortunately, when Six did that, it caused a chain reaction that caused my robot form to blow up. Then I shot him away with my rocket fist, along with my human body inside it. But we when we landed, I woke up with no memories of myself at all. Again."

"My fist crashed down and that's where Six found me under all the rubble. He pulled me out of the rubble and I followed him. Then an evo tried to attack him but I came into to help him and ended up curing the Evo."

"Six was amazed by my powers and showed them to Providence. This really made Doc Holiday happy. She was this pretty, smart and caring doctor at Providence and, I'll admit, I had a crush on her but it went no where. Even when I thought I had a chance, life made it blow up in my face. Anyways, when Providence learned what i could do, all they tried to do was dissect me and use my powers to turn into weapons of their design. Typical government agents. Afraid of what they don't control. But it didn't work."

"My nanites fought them off for trying to harm me. Then Six and Holiday showed Providence how I can help them. So they took me in and basically, I was Providence's most valuable asset of the whole team, not to brag."

"And for the past 6 and a half years I've helped cure Evos and take them down with my powers. And through those 6 and a half years, I've made friends, made a lot of enemies, lost my powers, gained new builds, and learned new things about me I didn't even know."

"I stayed with Providence for many years but I still never knew who I was. But then, I finally got a break and found something out about myself."

"On one of my journey's in Providence, we tracked Dr Rylander, who was turning people into EVOS and it led us to South America. We tried find him but someone else had the same plan. A guy by the name Van Kleiss."

"He was another scientist who worked on the Nanite project. During the explosion, he ended up getting caught in the explosion and it caused his body to be completely fused with nanites, to where he could only live off of nanites and made him vulnerable whenever he left Abyss, the place where the Nanite project was made. He became its leader and made a haven for all Evos. Or so he likes to think so."

"Anyways, he soon learned that Rylander was back, or at least made his location known, and tracked him down too."

"Providence and Van Kleiss battled each other and I ran in to find Rylander. Soon I found him and as it turns out, he knew who I was. He talked about my name and how he gave it to me, but he wasn't my dad or anything. Just a family friend."

"He kept talking about the Nanite event was suppose to save people but all I wanted was to know was who I was. The only thing was he told me that I had a brother but before I could learn anything else, Van Kleiss stabbed him. And before he could stab me, Rylander ran him into a destabilizer and it killed them both."

"We may have lost the facility Rylander worked at, but I left with some hope. I had a brother and he was out there, somewhere. And with Van Kleiss gone, that made things a lot easier for me. Or so I thought."

"Turns out without him, Abyss was falling apart and was becoming unstable. So I had to bring him back with a machine he created. But since I used my nanites to bring him back to life, I was able to cure him. But he still got away."

"After that moment, he came back and one day hijacked the Keep, the mothership or Providence ships, and stole my powers and used my own nanites against me."

"While I could cure Evos, he was able to create them. I eventually came back stronger than ever and gained new builds along the way. Like my first new build was this awesome whip, that I called the Blaster Caster."

"And it was all with the help of a strange control Nanite, which turned out to be a big part to my future awesomeness."

"After the deal with Van Kleiss, I began having strange visions through a Nanite's point of view and these visions told me to create something I didn't understand. And while I was doing that, a strange person came to Providence in search of that same control nanite, and that person turned out to be my brother, Caesar Salazar."

"He was happy to see me but when he took me with him to his ship, he kept talking about some of my past. But mostly about what happened in the last moments of the nanite event. And apparently, i wanted to play accordion when i was a kid. But he explained what happened to him during the events of the Nanite event."

"According to him, just before the explosion, he fled to his research pod and activated its subspace engines to get away. The engines were supercharged and launched the pod into orbit at super speeds. The speed he was traveling at was so great that in the fifteen minutes it took to take control over the machine, five years had gone by in the rest of the world, hence why I never met him. Not sure how that works, but he's the scientist so he knows how this all works. Not going to bother pressing that boring speech button again."

"After returning to Earth, Caesar's first priority was to find Gabriel Rylander since Rylander was in charge of looking after a Nanite that a man named Dr Rylander was looking after...

.

...The omega-1 Nanite."

"The omega-1 nanite was a control nanite that Caesar created to keep the nanites in control. And when I met him, he stuck me with a needle and that needle had the Omega Nanite in it, and It soon became a part of me. It was an important creation that he and Rylander worked on and when the nanite event was about to happen, he told Rylander to keep the OM-1 safe until he met up with him again, but he was too late. So he must've figured that It would've been safe in me than with him, since he saw my powers."

"Soon, he told me about my life. How they lived all over the world, until I was born in Geneva, Switzerland. Then things settled down and it led to how he and our parents soon worked on the nanite project, along with Van Kleiss."

"Speaking of which, after we defeated him but months later, he was secretly creating a machine that hooked up to one of his partners named Breach. It was fitted to her powers to cut wholes in the fabric of space and time. Like how she brought a literal T-Rex back from existence."

"But it turned to dust hours later. I had to get Breach to listen to reason so she would leave Van Kleiss and stop this madness. So we both escaped from our bosses and I spent some time with her to get her on our side. But then Van Kleiss and Providence showed up and made things worse for me and her."

"Van Kleiss told her to send me away and it almost worked but she turned the tables on him and sent Van Kleiss back in time to the Egyptian days. The machine on her started to go haywire and I couldn't stop it. Our last memory together was her saying how she was glad she made a friend, as we hugged each other, and the machine activated."

"It ended up sending Breach back into past with Van Kleiss, but according to my brother, she was connected to Van Kleiss through her nanites and kept following him around time, but in a state of freeze. Time Freeze that is."

"Don't ask me how. I barley paid attention when he explained it."

"But I ended up getting sent me 6 months into the future, where White Knight had gone crazy after supposedly losing me, the teams best asset, and a new person came into the picture, Black Knight."

"She was the new head of Providence, and I didn't like the way she was handling things. So I ended up leaving and met up with my team after they hadn't seen me for 6 months. And during that time, I met this cool guy named Ben Tennyson."

"He was from a different world and had this cool watch that let him transform into many aliens. He came out of portal where an evil being called Alpha showed up and began causing trouble for us. He was an all red looking being and had this evil look in his eyes."

"According to my brother, Alpha was the first control Nanite my brother worked on but it didn't seem to work well and when Alpha started to create its own consciousness."

"But he stopped him by sending him through a portal but he ended up coming back along with Ben too. He was causing trouble for our world so me and Ben teamed up to take him down. With the help of his one alien he called Upgrade, he was able to change my nanites and make my builds even more awesome."

"We were, like, an unstoppable team and it was just awesome. And we were able to defeat Alpha, but our time together didn't last long as Ben had to go home. Sad really, but I doubt that's the last time we'll see each other. Anyway, back to Black Knight."

"She was still in charge of Providence and she began to do things that were questionable. For instance, she had tried to find Van Kleiss but he wasn't anywhere to be found but we found some hidden texts that led us to Van Kleiss's whereabouts."

"It turns out Van Kleiss built a hibernation chamber to preserve himself till he got back to our time. We found him and he was more crazy than his usual self."

"I checked the machine and it only preserved his body, not his mind. So in other words, he felt more than 2000 years pass by him and it drove him mad."

"Black took him to a secret building out in Europe where it turns out, she was secretly building a facility for the Consortium to try their plan to become Gods again. It turns out she was the one the Consortium used to create the meta-nanites to gain their own powers. And when they saw what I could do, they secretly ran tests on here, which led to how she ended up having powers similar to mine. And it was there we learned about the Meta-nanites and we had to stop her."

"We captured a few of the meta-nanites but they got the drop on us and got them as well."

"They tried to get me to force the Meta Nanites back together but being the stubborn one that i am, I fought back. In doing so, the Consortium only got 1/5 of the power they were promised."

"In other words they all had their own powers. Over gravity, matter and anti-matter, energy, mechanics, and space-time. Then they tried to get their full power back but then I came in and controlled the Meta-Nanites. Turns out my parents and brother created them to only respond to me. Then I told all the nanites in their reactor to cure all Evos around the world. And it worked."

"Except Black knight and the Consortium escaped and Breach took Van Kleiss into her own world away from Earth."

"So he didn't get cured, nor did the rest of the Pack. I then told the Meta Nanites to deactivate and not to reactivate again. And just like I saved the Earth from world control. But some things were still left unanswered. Mainly where are The Consortium and Van Kleiss?"

"And why did my parents blow up the nanite factory if the meta-nanites only responded to me. All of these things were still left unanswered. One day I'll find out but I've still got a job to do and that's brings us to the current day."

"The day that changed my life like it did when the Nanite event happened. This is the day that I had no one but myself. And I had to save an entire world from being killed."

(Cue This will be the Day by Jeff Williams)

{Instrumental}

(The scene opens up with Ruby Rose kneeling at Summer's gravestone near the Cliffside Forest, as Red petals are flying off of her.)

'They see you as small and helpless'

(In the midst of a snowstorm, she looks up and sees a figure wearing a white cloak, with a red interior, nearly identical to hers, that looks as if a person is wearing it before dissolving into white rose petals.)

'They see you as just a child'

(The moon then starts to scatter as the sky changes color, and a huge gust of wind kicks up snow and rose petals from Ruby's cloak.)

'Surprised when they find out that a warrior will soon run wild'

'Prepare for your greatest moments'

(The camera pans to the left with the snow and rose petals, revealing the title of the show.)

"The Evo of Remnant"

'Prepare for your finest hour'

(Weiss Schnee is seen under a spotlight in the Schnee training room , possibly preparing to sing as she closes her eyes.)

'The dream that you've always dreamed is suddenly about to flower'

(Blake Belladonna appears next on the screen, standing on a branch in Forever Fall forest, then disappearing suddenly when a branch passes over the camera. In the background, outlines of Adam Taurus's mask and face are seen over the moon.)

(Yang Xiao Long looks over the city where Junior's club is situated, as she is checking her scroll before looking up at dark clouds ahead of her as she then rides off on her motorcycle, BumbleBee, in a cloud of smoke and away from the city.)

'We are lightning'

(Several creatures of Grimm including dozens of Beowolves, Ursa, a Deathstalker, and a giant Nevermore flying at the camera are seen with some dark, mysterious shapes are over the grimm creatures.)

(Roman Torchwick and a few of his henchmen appear as Roman points his cane at the camera.)

'Straying from the thunder'

(The scene then bursts into fire, as the three silhouettes of Mercury Black, Emerald Sustrai and Cinder Fall are visible through the flames, as the camera zooms in on Cinder's right eye.)

'Miracles of ancient wonder'

(Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang are preparing to fight a horde of shadowy, grimm creatures surrounding them, but before they attack, they all hear something over their heads and look up to see a gradient red looking circle above them. Suddenly, something orange and big falls out of the circle and the four get out of the way as it impacts the ground where they were.)

'This will be the day we've waited for'

(They turn their heads to see Rex Salazar, with his Smack hands out, as he leaps towards them and gets in a stance as he faces the grimm ahead of them. The girls smirk and do the same as they all start to charge towards the grimm and begin to fight them.)

'This will be the day we open up the door'

(Looking at a statue of a man and woman on a cliff over a Beowolf, Jaune Arc is joined by his teammates, which are Pyrrha Nikos, Lie Ren and Nora Valkyrie, as they all look up to the sky to see Rex flying in with his Boogie pack and lands and props his elbow on the man's head as he just smirks at the group.)

'I don't wanna hear your absolution'

(Nora jumps and cheers, Ren bows his head, Pyrrha places her hand on her heart and bows to him, and Jaune tries to do the finger pistol but Rex just shakes his head in embarrassment but sees a Nevermore flying away so he activates his wings again and flies after it.)

'Hope you're ready for a revolution'

(Ozpin, holding his cane and his mug, and Glynda Goodwitch, with her scroll, look onward while at the railing of the front of the school's airship, which flies off as several smaller craft soar around it. Soon they turn to see Rex flying next to them as he gives them the thumbs up while soaring down into the Emerald Forest, while Glynda shakes her head in annoyance, while Ozpin merely smirks while he drinks his coffee.)

'Welcome to a world of new solutions' 'Welcome to a world of bloody evolution'

(A quick shot of each of the girls and Rex in Team RRWBY with their symbols: Ruby with a red rose symbol; Weiss with a white, stylized depiction of a snowflake; Blake with a black, stylized depiction of a belladonna flower; Yang with a yellow burning heart; and Rex with a spinning, orange gear; as the emblems appear before a black background.)

'In time, your heart will open minds'
'A story will be told'

(Ozpin and Glynda, Jaune and his teammates, Yang, Blake and Weiss all stand at the doors of Beacon Academy, and at the front is Ruby, wielding Crescent Rose, and Rex Salazar as he has his B.F.S. but soon brings it back into his arm. Soon Ruby looks over his shoulder at Rex as she holds Crescent Rose up as she cocks the gun back, while Rex just smirks as he holds his left hand up as blue lines appear on his hand.)

'And victory is in a simple soul'

(Soon, an orange and dark red slam together behind Rex and Ruby with each colors behind them, respectively, as the two friends look at each other, smiling as the title appears above them.)

"The Evo of Remnant"

Emerald Forest (March 1)

It was a calm, windy day out here in the Emerald Forest, near Beacon Academy. The birds were chirping, wind bustling through the trees, and everything seemed to be peaceful and normal in this forest.

But then...

WWHWHHOOOOOOOSHHHHHH

A giant red portal opened up near the ground of the forest out of nowhere and that scared the birds and other creatures away. As the portal opened, something came flying out of the portal as it fell to the ground with a groan. That groan confirmed that it wasn't something that fell out but someone.

It was a teenage boy with dark tan skin, dark black hair, and brown eyes. The boy wore a white and blue t-shirt with two orange lines on it, a red jacket with orange at the ends of the sleeves, and wore dark pants. And had brown goggles on top of his head. The boy's name was Rex Salazar and was now passed out on the ground as he groaned in pain and exhaustion.

The boy slowly began to wake up and as he began to move, he felt his neck was a little stiff as he groaned while beginning to open his eyes. He saw that it was very bright out Rex saw it was the sun.

"Wait, it was night time a few minutes ago?! Why is the sun out now?" said Rex as he groaned in pain.

He then remembered what happened and said "Oh great. Where am I?" groaned Rex as he rolled onto his side but then he was poked by something pointy.

That made him wince in pain as he looked down and saw he had hit a little branch on a stump. He then realized that he wasn't where he was a few minutes ago.

He then looked to the sides on him and he saw several trees around him. He then came to the conclusion that he was in a forest. It wasn't the strangest place he woke up in. After all, the woke up in a doll house of the living dead and that was still the creepiest thing to happen to him. Well, one of many.

As he began to stand up, he began to recollect what had happened from last night.

Flashback

He remembered that he was trundling slowly back to Providence after a night of stopping criminals. It had been 5 months since he saved the world from the Black Order and there hadn't been any Evos around but Providence still didn't disappear because of that.

He was wanting to get back to Providence because it was Meatloaf and Mash potatoes Friday and he couldn't wait. He was glad he was able to convince Providence that order every Friday. But then after he got there, he saw Bobo trying to eat all of the meatloaf so there would be none left for Rex.

The two eventually broke out into their typical tussle and fight and eventually, they wore each other out. Luckily, Six said he kept a plate of it to the side because he knew the monkey would pull something stupid like that. Holiday just laughed at the whole debacle.

Night fall came and Rex had gone back to his room, feeling stuffed after eating a lot of meatloaf. He collapsed on his bed and just went back to sleep.

For about half an hour.

Soon as Rex was getting to sleep, the alarm started going off. Rex groaned as he tumbled out of his bed and began running towards the main room. He soon learned that that were given a warning that Van Kleiss was back. Soon Rex and other providence agents began heading towards the location of where Van Kleiss was at.

They tracked him down to a abandoned lab in Switzerland and when Rex went in to investigate, he was met by an old friend, or frenemy, in a sense.

Breach, the creepy girl with four arms, two being bigger than the other ones.

Rex was surprised to see as he asked her what she was doing. But just as he said that, Breach lifted her head up to which Rex was able to see through her bangs that she had a sad expression on.

She then said "I'm so sorry Rex, but this is for your own good" as she quickly opened a portal and stuck her hand through.

Rex saw this and flinched around to move away from whatever she was planning to do but he ended up getting poked by a needle in his back. He then began to feel a little woozy.

He quickly concluded that she gave him a drug to make him sleepy but before that, he saw Van Kleiss appear from the shadows.

"Ah, marvelous. So good of you to join us, Rex. We've been waiting for you" said Van Kleiss, but just as he began walking towards Rex, Breach soon then swiped her hand forward as a big red portal flew towards Rex.

"Wait, Breach don't do it!" thought Rex.

But then he heard Breach yell "I'm sorry Rex. But I don't want you to die" she said as Rex was soon engulfed by the red portal.

As he was enveloped, Rex began to fall to the drugs affects as he slowly began to close his eyes and wasn't paying attention to what was happening, but then he awoke to hitting some hard with a thud as he groaned in pain.

End of Flashback

Then he woke up in a forest in the middle of who-knows-where and he hadn't the foggiest idea where he was. He pondered what exactly could Breach could meant when she said this was for his own good.

What did she mean?

Was she protecting him and if so, why did she drug him if she wanted to save him?

What was Van Kleiss doing or what was he planning to do with Rex in that facility.

He then remembered how Van Kleiss got away into Breach's world so he wasn't sured when Rex had his God moment. Van Kleiss must've had her send him to some place away from Providence for another one of his schemes again. But then Rex remembered his communication piece and then pressed it as he said,

"Rex to Providence. Can you hear me?" He waited for a response and got nothing but static. He tried again.

"Rex to Providence. Can you hear me?" he said a little louder but just got static. Rex figured he was out of the range of communication and figured to get out of the forest and get a better signal.

He stood up and began to form his wings but before he could even build them up, he heard noises coming from the trees. He looked up and he swore he saw people flying by him.

"What the what?" he thought as he also saw people jumping on the branches high in the trees and continued on.

He raised his eyebrow in question as he thought "Who in the heck were those people? Are those ninjas or what?" as he continued to look round.

"Wait people, that means they must have info which means I can find out where I am" said Rex as he began to try and follow those guys as he donned his goggles was about to form his wings again until he heard sounds coming from above the trees and then he heard "LOOK OUT".

But as he turned to the sound, something came crashing down and hit him hard and caused him to hit his head on a rock and passed out unconscious.

Rex groaned in pain as he had hit his head on the ground. But even so, as he laid on the ground in pain, he could hear a voice next to him.

"Hey. Hello, mister? Hey, are you ok?" was all Rex heard as he began to regain consciousness. He opened his eyes and groaned from the pain on his head. He opened his eyes and saw something was blocking the sunlight from him. It was a silhouette of a person. A girl from the sound of her voice.

Rex opened his eyes and saw what looked like a young girl with black and red hair and silver eyes. She held out her hand as to help Rex up. He grabbed her hand and helped him up. He then got a better view of this girl. She was shorter than him. She was wearing a black suit with a skirt, a red cape, and black boots and seemed to have something sticking out from her back.

Rex then said to the girl "Thanks."

As he got up, he saw that the girl was pretty short. Not as short as Bobo but he wondered what a kid was doing out here in a forest. But then remembered Van Kleiss and figured this would be the best time to figure out where he was.

"Hey, do you have any idea where we are?" asked Rex in a sort of rushed but also calm way, as to not scare her. Hearing his question made the girl turn her head to him and raised her eyebrow as the girl looked at him like he was crazy and said,

"Come on, you've got to be pulling my leg" chuckled the girl as she slapped his shoulder.

Rex rubbed his shoulder as he said "Look, do you know where we are or not?" in a more annoyed manner.

The girl looked at him again but she could tell that he was being serious. He really had no idea where they were.

"We're in the Emerald Forest. Near Beacon Academy. Weren't you at the cliff? Are you feeling alright there, buster?" said the girl as he tried to reach for his forehead, but Rex caught her arm and moved it away from him.

Rex replied saying "Yea but I've never heard of Emerald Forest." He then began to think that it might've not been a smart thing to ask a kid for directions. He then figured that would explain why she was in a forest. Poor thing was probably lost just as much as him.

He then began to think more on how he could get better directions from the girl as he decided to ask "Ok, what country are we in?"

The girl raised her eyebrow in question as she asked "What do you mean?"

Rex groaned as he knew asking a kid for directions wasn't going to be helpful as he said"Come on, didn't they teach the places of the world in school. Didn't you ever watch Yako's nations of the World. Asia, Europe, Africa, South America. You know, the continents of the world. Now I'm looking for America. North America specifically. Now where are we?!" he said in an annoyed manner as he needed information now and this girl was just playing ignorant with him and he didn't have time for that.

She gave him an expression that made her think he was crazy "Are you feeling alright mister?. I'm afraid I've never heard of these places. I don't know what places you've been to but the only place close by is Vale."

Rex raised an eyebrow at the towns names as he asked "Where the heck is Vale. I know I didn't go to school for long, but I don't remember there being a place called Vale" said Rex in a questioning voice as he tried to recall the places that Dr. Holiday tried to teach him.

The girl began to feel nervous at the teenager's raised voice at her as she said "Well, the only place nearby is Vale. Then there's also Beacon Academy..."

"I said Asia, Africa, South America, and North America. Now, I'm looking for the North part of America. Now where are we" said Rex in a more strict and annoyed manner.

She shrieked a little as she said "I'm sorry. I don't know what you're talking about. I've never heard of those places. Don't yell at me" said the girl as she coward in fear at his strict voice.

Rex felt bad about scaring her but then he began to think more on her reaction. She didn't seem to know the areas he mentioned. And that hit him as odd. How could she have not known what the countries of the world. That fact began to make him worry on something.

The girl had never heard of the places he had mentioned and he wasn't sure how that was possible. Breach had sent him through a portal and Rex figured she sent him to another part of the world. But then again, this was Breach. She had the power to cut open a portal to different parts of the world but also supposed dimensions.

After all, she managed to capture Rex and send him to a pocket dimension she kept a town in, so really any place she could escape to was at her disposal. Rex wasn't sure but he began to worry that he might have ended up some place farther from Providence and Van Kleiss.

Coupled that with the new girl not knowing of the countries of the world, it began to eat into his paranoia that he might not be where he was suppose to be. What he had wasn't much to prove his theory but he was still paranoid that he might be in more trouble than he thought. He was still lost in thought until he remembered he wasn't alone He turned back towards the girl as he held out his hand to her.

He then said "Sorry to scare you, kiddo. I'm just anxious to know where I am is all. I'm pretty sure I'm lost" as the girl looked up at him and gladly accepted his hand.

"Yea, I'm sorry too. I just haven't heard of those places you mentioned. I'm sorry." said the girl, feeling bad that she couldn't be of help.

Rex waved his hand back and forth as he said "Its fine."

He then figured that he shouldn't draw much attention to himself right as he then said "Why don't we start over. My names Rex. Pleasure to meet ya, kid" said Rex as he held out his hand, implying for her to shake his hand.

"Ruby" she said until she said "And I'm not a kid. I just haven't had my growth spurt yet" she said in a complaint voice as she waved her pointer finger at him.

Upon hearing that name, Rex then took notice at her attire and realized that a lot of her clothing had a ruby color to them and it was a little funny to him that her name was named the same as her attire, in a sense.

He tried not to laugh as he didn't want her to think bad of him. He then began to think about what he should ask her next but became lost in thought until he was brought back to reality by Ruby waving her hand in his face

"Oh sorry. Didn't mean to space off. What did you say?" asked Rex to Ruby.

Ruby then asked "I said, so are you a part of the group gathering activity?" asked Ruby.

Rex raised his eyebrow in question as he said "What gathering activity?"

Ruby then just chuckled slightly as his gesture and said "Oh come on. You know, the group gathering thing Ozpin wanted us to do" as she pointed back towards the other end of the forest with her thumb.

Rex had no idea what this girl was talking about. He still began to think about how he had ended up in the forest after falling asleep to the drug shot Breach gave him, out in an abandoned facility.

He was now full of questions and began to worry that he might really be in more trouble than he ever thought. He then looked at the short girl and began to think on what to do. He still didn't have enough proof but he still needed find out on where he was and he thought that this girl might be a big help to him but she still wasn't able to answer his questions.

She did appear to be very young and he became worried that asking her for answers might not be a smart thing. Could have him lead to something wore.

Rex groaned internally as he figured the Ruby might be a clueless child, wondering around in this big forest ton her own but then he remembered seeing other kids, flying through the sky and the trees and remembered Ruby asking if he too was in her group gathering activity, whatever that might be. But for what, he thought?

He knew he needed more information. So he figured that since he didn't now where he was and what the girl was talking about, it might cause suspicion and the last he wanted to making more enemies or arousing suspicion. So he decided to play the only card he had.

"Truth be told, I don't know how I got here. All I remember is waking up in this forest then getting knocked out then woke up with you there" said Rex as he pointed at the ground and then the trees.

Ruby began to feel guilty as she then said"Oh I'm sorry about that. I was trying to land but you were standing in my line of landing and I hit you. I'm sorry" she said as she bowed rapidly showing her sorrow for landing on him.

Rex chuckled at her apology as he said "Its fine. Don't beat yourself up over that" as he then looked around the forest in confusion.

"But I'm still lost. Do you mind pointing the way for me?" he asked, hoping that he wouldn't be making a mistake.

Ruby could tell that he was serious about him not knowing where he was. If he didn't know where he was, of all places, then he definitely was lost and must've just been wondering around on his own. How he made it this far, she had now idea, but she then thought that this could be her chance to show the other students here that she can be useful and helping a total stranger might give her some points to getting in good to making friend.

She knew she couldn't just leave him since she was on a schedule so she figured to bring him along with her and show that she can be dependable. She then figured that she could bring him to Ozpin and he might be able to help him.

"Why don't you come with me. I think there may be a guy to help you" said Ruby as she gestured her hand for him to follow her as she began running into the forest. Rex was skeptical but he knew he had no other choice.

With Providence not answering his comms, not to mention the fear of being sent somewhere far away, he knew he didn't have any other choice.

"Without Providence calling, I'm going to have to work on my own. Plus if Breach somehow managed to send me to a different world, I defiantly don't want to call too much attention to myself. How would a world different from mine even react to an Evo like me" thought Rex as he then saw the girl began waving her hand to follow her through the forest.

Rex nodded as he figured it'd be best to follow her since she probably knew the terrain more than him.

"I hope she knows what she's doing. Since I don't know what I'm doing, I hide she knows the way. Here we go" he said as they began heading deeper into the forest.

And so it begins...
