"Draco," Pansy begins, suddenly regretting her actions. "Um..I-"

He sighs, out of frustration and turns his head towards Pansy, "Yes? If you have something to say, then say it for heavens sake."

"Right, I uh.." she stutters. Suddenly the hours she rehearsed in front of her mirror had vanished, and she had nothing to do but sound so adolescent. "Um, Draco.."

He slams his fist onto the cherry wood desk, urging her to continue. Not showing the emotion he was really suffering, worrying of what Pansy had to say. Did he know what was she was getting at? Yes, but did he want to admit it to himself? No.

"I, think we should..stop seeing..I mean, not like we can't stop seeing each other, but we shouldn't," she blabbered. "I mean, what I mean is, we should break up."

Pansy instinctively stares at the floorboards of the common room, oblivious of the fact Draco was standing there, staring at her with cold eyes. She held back the tears and forced herself to look up. To her surprise, Draco was no longer standing before her. She looked up just in time to see him storm out of the room.

"Bloody hell," she mumbled, falling back into a reclining chair.
