Hope you like. This is just a one shot.
Kirsten scanned the house searching for anyone who might be home, "Hello?" she yelled loudly. She looked down and saw a curled up figure lying on the couch. Content that no one was home she sat down next to him, "Hey baby wake up." She stroked his cheek softly as he opened his eyes slowly.
"Hey," he greeted warmly. He looked around sleepily, "No one home?" Kirsten shook her head smiling slightly.
"Nope. We're all alone." She paused noticing the tiredness in his brilliant blue eyes, "Are you okay?" she asked concerned. He closed his eyes and shook his head.
"Hard day." He said simply before reaching up and kissing her softly, "It's getting better though." He said in a low tone. Kirsten smiled and allowed her hands to run across his chest. When they parted he leaned back and sighed. She lay down next to him as best she could on the couch and curled his leg around his. He turned to face her and ran a finger down her cheek, "I love you, Kirsten."
"I love you too." She smiled and kissed him lightly on the lips. He smirked and pulled her close. She closed her eyes enjoying just lying with him. She breathed in his scent and smiled. He pulled a tendril of hair away from her face and let it intertwine with his fingers, "This is nice." She said softly.
"It is." He agreed, "When do you think they'll be home?" he asked eyebrows raised. She smiled.
"I don't know. Soon." He opened his mouth to speak but she silenced him with a kiss. He pulled off her suit jacket as she tried to undo his belt, "Maybe we should get out of the living room," he said between kisses. Kirsten pulled him to his feet not taking her lips from his. He reached down and scooped her into his arms easily and she laughed loudly. He had begun to love the sound of her laugh. It could light up a town. He made his way upstairs with her still in his arms and kissing his neck when she could. He started up the hall but as he passed one of the guest rooms he backtracked and headed through the door. It was easier than trying to get to the bedroom at the end of the hall. He fell backward onto the bed and Kirsten ended up lying on his chest. They both sat up and Kirsten continued her attempts at his belt.
When they emerged a while later Kirsten heard a noise downstairs. She checked her hair in the mirror and made sure his buttons were done up properly. She kissed him quickly only pausing for a second before leaving him in the landing and going downstairs to greet her husband.
Unconventional i know but let me know what you think.
