So, I was watching 'A Tale Of Two Toms' on YouTube and one of the comments proposed that perhaps the episode could've been turned into its own 4 or 5 part arc. Well, let's make it happen! Tom/Sarah will be strong here!

Tom Majors, Chaotic Codename: MajorTom, was deep in the Overworld Barracks. He had heard there was a new Battlegear out and about and he just had to get a scan of it.

'I gotta get closer...' Tom thought to himself. So he did as Velrath took his position, showcasing the Ice Cloak's abilities. However as the second test was starting, Tom's position was revealed and he was saved by someone who looked just like him...but he was a brunette and just a little taller.

Tom had been blasted by a Power Pulse, but his doppelganger had saved him. Intros and the other Tom's obnoxious behavior aside, the two Toms forged ahead, but MajorTom slipped up on the vines, nearly getting blasted by Confligration Cannons by Velrath, but porting out just in time.

Back in Chaotic, Tom was about to sit down at the Port Court with his friends Kaz Kalinkas and Peyton Touhey as well as his crush Sarah Laurence.

"Dude, how was the Overworld Barracks?" Peyton asked his Overworld bro.

"Awesome! Your friend nearly got toasted by some Confligration Cannons!" CoolTom answered obnoxiously.

Sarah looked on and thought 'That guy looks cute...but totally obnoxious...'

As the other Tom was telling the rest of the group about the run through the Overworld Barracks, Kaz was surprised that his best friend didn't scan the Ice Cloak.

"You didn't scan the Ice Cloak, Tom?" Kaz asked, surprised. He knows that his best friend scans anything and everything that comes his way. However, CoolTom did end up scanning the Ice Cloak and didn't hesitate to rub his scan in everyone's faces.

Everyone else seemed impressed by the scan of the Ice Cloak. CoolTom even ended up resorting calling MajorTom 'Tom 2'.

"Sounds like he's your sequel..." Sarah giggled.

"That's what I said!"

CoolTom then recognized who he was talking to. "Hey, you're that awesome Danian player! I saw your battle in the Crellan Drome the other day; the way you coded Magmon with that Mandiblast attack was kickin'!"

'Oh no he didn't! He did NOT just try to hit on my girl!' Tom thought to himself, growling under his breath.

Over the next week, all Tom wanted to do was just hang out with his friends whenever possible. Beta Drome matches with Peyton or Sarah - Fail. Scan Quest with Kaz - no luck. It felt as though CoolTom was stealing his friends and crush away from him. It only got worse when Klay and Krystella decided to nose their way into the mess.

"Seems there's a new Tom in town, Krystella..."

"A new, improved Tom."

"He's taller than you..."

"And much better looking..."

That's when Tom snapped and strangled Klay. "Listen and listen well, you lying, cheating scammer. I've had a lousy week here in Chaotic. That double of mine is trying to steal everything from me and I don't need you making things worse. Now unless you want me to go Marty McSorely on you, I suggest you and Ms. Ice Princess Whore over there shove off before I shove you into the flat screens..."

Krystella was surprised. This show of aggression toward her and Klay made the brunette nearly faint as Klay was thrown into her. Fearing for their lives after Tom's sudden snap, Klay and Krystella ran off, not wanting to incur Tom's wrath.

Kaz had seen this from the group's usual Port Court table and rushed in to try and cool Tom down.

"Tom, what's going on?" Kaz asked. "You've never been this aggressive outside of the Dromes before..."

"You totally scared Klay and Krystella to death, dude!" Peyton remarked.

"Yeah, this is an entirely different side of you, Tom..." Sarah worried. 'And I don't like it...this isn't the Tom I fell in love with...' the blonde thought.

"I don't know, Kaz," Tom sighed. "I've been having a lousy week here because of CoolTom and now it's like something inside me just snapped."

"You feel alright enough to port to Perim?" Kaz asked.

"I'm not going...and neither is CoolTom. He's got a match this afternoon..."

"With who?"

"ME!"

Hearing a battle of the Toms was about to ensue, Sarah walked off. Peyton quickly followed.

"Sarah, what gives, brah?" Peyton asked the Danian player.

"What gives? WHAT GIVES?!" Sarah snapped. "I'll tell you what gives! It's my fault, alright! It's my fault I fell victim to CoolTom's charms and basically ditched Tom for that scumbag! Now it feels like I'm losing the one guy I ever really cared about..."

"Sarah, it sounds like you're crushing on Major T..."

"WHAT? I don't know where you're getting that idea," Sarah denied. "Let's just head over to Chirrul Drome."

On the way to Battledrome Chirrul, Sarah, Kaz and Peyton stopped short when they found a brown book.

"A journal?"

"Looks like this is Tom's journal..." Kaz said. "I didn't know he kept one..."

"What's it say, dude?" Peyton asked.

'I can't believe it's been a year since I first discovered Chaotic and Perim. I've met so many wonderful creatures and I've seen amazing places. But in my time exploring the world of Chaotic, nothing could ever top when I met Sarah at Lake Ken-i-Po. She's saved me more times than either of us can count. She may be a bit high-strung, but that's okay. She's daring, she's adventurous and she's a great friend. Whether it's a Drome Match gone wrong, a scan quest gone awry or even if I'm having a rotten day, whenever I look into her emerald eyes, she makes everything feel okay. And get this! She goes to same school as me, Kaz and Peyton! Today, I'm gonna ask Sarah Beth Laurence to be my girlfriend.'

"And it was dated Monday - October 7..."

"That was when we met CoolTom..." Peyton said, only furthering Sarah's guilt.

Over at Chirrul Drome, the battle of the Toms was about to start. Outside, Sarah couldn't watch.

"I didn't want it to come to this..." Sarah said to herself.

"Sarah, what's wrong?" Kaz asked. "You seem out of it."

"I can't believe it, Kaz..."

"What, Sarah?"

"Tom was planning to ask me out the day we met CoolTom and I messed it up by fawning over that arrogant asshole! Tom must hate me now..." Sarah cried into Kaz's shoulder.

"Sarah, don't say that. He doesn't hate you. He just let jealousy get the better of him...Klay and Krystella only exacerbated things to a point to where our Tom couldn't take it anymore, so he lashed out at them. We all saw it...we saw him strangle Klay and nearly knock out Krystella. It's not your fault."

"Yes it is, Kaz! I can't forgive myself for what I did to him..." Sarah bawled, tears flowing down and her makeup running. "I think I got some of my mascara and eye shadow onto your shoulder, Kaz..."

"It's okay, Sarah. You're venting and you have every right to do so. You don't have to watch the match if you don't want to. Just know that our Tom is doing this for you. If it makes you feel any better, Sarah...I didn't particularly like CoolTom anyway. He sounded like a big, fat jerk."

"Same here, bro," Peyton told Kaz. "He's a fusion of Klay and Major T gone horribly wrong."

Inside the Chirrul Drome, the Toms locked their teams and the battle had begun. MajorTom struggled early, losing 5 battles in a row, bringing him down to just his Maxxor. This pushed him even further over the edge than he was when he nearly mangled Klay.

"You've been trying to steal my friends away, Mr. Cool! Well if you win this match, you can have 'em!"

This shocked his friends (and crush) outside the Drome.

"Okay, Major T has definitely blown a gasket!" Peyton remarked.

"I never expected Tom to blow up like this..." Kaz freaked as Sarah walked off. "Sarah, where are you going?"

"I can't stand to see this, Kaz. This aggressive side of Tom...this is definitely not the Tom we know and love. Certainly not the Tom I fell for..."

Kaz smiled. "I knew this was coming."

"How long?"

"Whole time. I figured it after the Scavenger Scan incident, but we were all waiting for when you were going to admit it."

"I just want our Tom back...the nice, sweet and trusting Tom. Not the overly aggressive, broken and emotionless Tom. I wish there was a way to get him back."

"That, Sarah...is up to you to figure out," Kaz told the blonde as Tom's Maxxor proceeded to pull the reverse sweep, knocking out all of CoolTom's creatures without breaking a sweat until facing Heptadd, using Rustoxic as a shield before finishing the match with a Sunderground attack.

After the match, Tom left the Chirrul Drome alone, not even looking at Peyton or Sarah.

"That's what CoolTom gets for trying to steal you guys from me..." Tom said in a huff.

"He was a dirtbag anyway, Tom. Awesome match, though!" Kaz said.

"Thanks, Kaz."

Sarah had ran off in a huff. Kaz and Peyton tracked her down quickly, however.

"Sarah, what's with you?" Kaz asked, only for Sarah to shove him away.

"Tom...he...he was going to ask me out the day we met CoolTom and I blew it by fawning over that arrogant jerk. I feel like I may have lost my Tom...it looks like he's already forgiven you and Peyton, Kaz. Me...I don't know if he'll ever forgive me for what I did. I just want my Tom back..." Sara cried into Kaz's shoulders before rising to her feet. "Thomas Jason Majors, no matter where you are in Chaotic, Perim or Earth...I'll bring you back. Somehow, I'll bring the man I love back..." she said to herself.

'A Tale of Two Toms' has itself a new ending and now Sarah's a girl on a mission! Next episode - Tom and Sarah battle for more than just the chance to face Codemaster Amzen, but also their friendship...and maybe more? Will Sarah be able to get Tom out of his rage and out of his new game-focused persona? Will she be able to tell him she loves him? Find out next time!
