I think Brigitte has finished eating Alice & the other werewolf by now. I wonder if there are even bones left (I haven't checked).
"Our heroine is down to her last tinful of rations, and grows restless. Perhaps she must venture forth into the wilderness and hunt venison."
Oh well, Barbara should be coming home soon. I'm not sure how I'm going to get her into the basement yet. If I open the door I'm pretty sure Brigitte would try to eat me. I've been working on my telepathic mind-commands, maybe they'll work by the time Barbara gets home. I'm sure once the mind-link is established, me and B can work as a team. I know that once I can get through to her animal mind she will see things my way.
I'm very excited about the future.

I hear a ring at the door--could it be Barbara already? I run down the steps & pass the basement door on my way. Such pounding and carrying on down there--
"The natives grow restless. We must have more ham."
--Brigitte must be very hungry. Oh well, we'll soon fix that. I hope she understands. All I have in the house is gluten-free cookies & corn chips.
Oh, it's just the cops.

They want to know if I've seen Alice. They want to know if I've seen Tyler. They want to know if I've seen Brigitte. They want to know if I've been living here all by myself. They want to know where that pounding noise is coming from.
I tell them that a burglar broke into my house & I managed to push him down the stairs and keep him locked in the basement. They go to see, and Brigitte jumps out.
Wow, she's all wolf by now. And there's so much blood.
I try my telepathic commands.

Wow, I really am a ghost now & I'm in Hell. A tall red-haired girl awaits me at the gates.
"Nobody messes with my sister," she says.
