One day in the Kanto region, Ash and Serena were walking together to a Renaissance party where they were invited, on their way they were talking about their past journeys.
"That must have been really cool Serena." said Ash.
Serena blushed when he said "Thanks Ash." She said shyly.
Serena then asks her boyfriend a question. "Hey Ash, can I ask you a question?"
Ash looked at her and said "Sure what is it?"
"Um, when are you going to cut your toenails?" said Serena.
Ash said "I will someday, why do you ask?"
Serena then said "Well you haven't cut since last week and I just think that if you don't cut them they'll grow long and they have been long now and I haven't got rid of the teeny tiny lego hairs I've been having for a week."
"Alright Serena, I will cut them later, after the party" said Ash.
Serena then smiles "Good."
Ash then looked at his girlfriend and he smiled back at her and he adored her smile.
They continued walking until Serena saw something.
"Hey Ash look." Serena said while at a building across the street.
Ash said "What is it?"
Serena then said excitedly "There's a new salon across the street, we should check it out."
Ash was not sure about it.
"I don't know if we should go check out…"
"Please Ash." Serena said
Ash groaned and said "Okay."
Serena then hugged Ash making him blush "Thanks Ash."
They then proceeded to the salon.
They then went inside to check it out and Serena was amazed at how nice it looked while Ash thought this place ok.
Then a female make-up specialist and other specialists came and greeted them "Hello, welcome to our new salon. Would you two like to have a free makeover?"
Ash felt his face pull itself into cringe and said "Why?" Serena even questioned the same.
"Because you two are our first customers and we want to show you how we do." She said excited
Serena then said nervously "Thanks but no thanks we were checking out this salon that's all, bedsides we were on our way to a Renaissance party we were invited to."
Both Serena and Ash were going to the exit until the beauticians held them by their shoulders and said "No, we insist and we can get you two prepared for the Renaissance party, come and we'll show you."
Ash and Serena were taken to the dressing room
In the dressing room, the make-up specialists stripped Ash and Serena from their clothes, leaving nothing but their underwear. Then they made them sit on salon chairs that strangely come with straps for the arms and legs. Later they tightened red aprons around Ash and Serena. Ash and Serena were nervous about this, until one of the beauticians spun their chairs around until the spinning stopped where the other beauticians were standing in front of them.
"Alright beauticians, we have our first customers for the day and since they're going to a Renaissance party, they should as well look like a real king and queen. So let's work on these two right now." Said the main specialist.
They all nodded and one of them said "what should we do for the boy here?" One of them looked at Ash which he didn't notice since he was busy looking at himself nervously.
The main specialist then said "We will see what we can do."
After that, one of the beauticians unrolls a satchel full of different makeup like powder, makeup brushes, mascaras, lipsticks, blush, and other makeup Ash and Serena don't know about. Suddenly Ash and Serena's arms and legs were strapped to their chairs. A beautician stands with a circular sander and starts to grind away Ash's toenails. Ash cringes and howls while Serena watches as they grinded Ash's toenails, she could help but feel sorry for him. Well at least he doesn't have to do it later. She said to herself.
After that, they then get pedicures and Serena gets her nails painted pink. The beauticians started washing their hair.
The beauticians pulled out mascara brushes and pulls at Ash and Serena's eyelashes. Serena then gets her eyebrows and nose hairs plucked "Ow!" She screamed in pain. The beauticians applied lipstick to Ash and Serena's lips which Ash did not like. Then they add some blush to their cheeks. Serena then gets her legs waxed and screams in pain, she should be happy about it since they're getting rid of the teeny tiny hairs that have been growing out of her legs for the past week but it still hurts. This feels like torture for them.
The beauticians try to tighten a zipper on Ash's back until they finally tighten up the zipper all the way. They placed a corset around Serena's waist and tightened it. Serena has never been in such pain and started to regret coming to the salon. They placed small socks onto Ash's feet. With a shoe horn, Ash's feet are shoved onto shoes as it popped in place, same for Serena with the heel shoes. A drill tightens the rivet on Ash's belt. A collar gets placed around Serena's neck. They placed a mole on Ash's cheek.
Some time has passed as they finished the makeover, Ash and Serena were standing awkwardly in outrageous renaissance outfits.
Serena felt uncomfortable wearing the big dress she and her boyfriend were wearing. "Uh, is this really necessary? She told the specialist as she stepped in front of them.
"Quite necessary dear because since you're going to a Renaissance party we have to get you dressed in renaissance outfits for the party." the specialist said.
Ash then asked with a narrow eye "But why do I have to get a makeover also?"
"Because I said we give you BOTH a free makeover which means YOU also get a makeover, also you're our first male customer and you need to be taken care of especially with the nails." Ash groaned at this.
"Well I guess we're off to the party, bye." Serena said while trying to wave goodbye but she couldn't since her arms were spread out due to how tight her dress was.
With that the beauticians waved goodbye to them and said "We hope to see you again." Ash whispered to himself and said "Yeah right." Serena sees this and notices Ash was in a bad mood today.
Ash and Serena then walked clumsy as they tried to walk to the party.
