Mariah and Tessa stood before family and friends, as their wedding ceremony began. Rachel smiled, watching Kyle present his opening remarks. He talked about love and commitment and the path Mariah and Tessa travelled to reach their wedding day.

Kyle continued his duties, inquiring each bride their acceptance of the other. Mariah expressed her love and excitement of what the future held for them, while Tessa reciprocated the same.

After exchanging rings, Kyle pronounced the couple, married partners for life. Applause erupted as the couple kissed.

Mariah and Tessa were showered with hugs and well-wishes from loved ones.

"They look so happy," Kevin smiled.

"Yes, they do," Chloe said.

"And they both look so lovely," Rachel said. Spying Kyle walking towards, them she said, "There is Mr. Minister."

"Well, it looks like my work here is done," Kyle said.

"And you did it perfectly," Rachel said, sharing a smile with him.

"You heard her," Kyle said, addressing the others, "As my witnesses, she said I'm perfect."

"No, I said your role in the ceremony was perfect," Rachel said.

"Same difference," Kyle joked, causing Rachel to elbow him in the ribs, while they shared a laugh.

Noting their mutual affection, Chloe cautiously said, "What's going on here? I get the feeling something is happening with you two."

"With us?" Kyle said, feigning innocence.

"I wonder where she got an idea like that," Rachel said.

"Okay, now I know something is going on," Chloe said.

"Should we tell her?" Rachel said.

"Tell me what?" Chloe said.

"I suppose she's bound to find out," Kyle said.

"Do you want to tell her?" Rachel said.

"You do it, you're closer with her," Kyle said.

"Are you sure?" Rachel said

"Hello?" Chloe said, "What's going on?"

Kyle put his arm around Rachel, as she said, "Kyle and I are back together."

"You mean…" Chloe said, "Romantically?"

Rachel looked up at Kyle and said, "Most definitely."

"Good for you two," Kevin said, "See? True love always finds the way."

Chloe was staring at Rachel and Kyle wide eyed.

"Chloe?" Kevin said, "Don't you want to offer them some best wishes?"

Chloe looked at Rachel with tears in her eyes. "Chloe," Rachel said, "It's okay, we…"

Rachel was cut off when Chloe hugged her friend. "I know how much you wanted this," Chloe said, "I'm so happy for you." Pulling back she smiled at her.

"You really mean that?" Rachel said.

"In light of your new found happiness, I will be a supportive friend," Chloe said.

"I appreciate that," Rachel said.

"We both do," Kyle said.

"As for you Mr. Minister, and also new boyfriend," Chloe began, "As her best friend, I have something to say to you."

"Chloe that's not necessary," Rachel said.

"I want you to be good to her," Chloe said.

"Of course," Kyle said.

"And respect her," Chloe said.

"Absolutely," Kyle said.

"And keep that smile on her face," Chloe said.

"I'll do my best," Kyle said, kissing Rachel on the cheek. Chloe saw Rachel slightly blush.

Sharing a hug with Tessa, Austin said, "My sister got herself married!"

"And I couldn't be happier," Tessa said, "I'm so glad you and Lola were able to make it."

"Are you kidding?" Austin said, "I told you, I wouldn't miss it. It was so amazing to see how beautiful you both were and your commitment to each other."

"It was a lovely ceremony," Lola said, "Congratulations."

Mariah approached Tessa's side, as Austin enthused, "There's my new sister-in-law."

"Our," Lola said.

"Our new sister-in-law," Austin corrected himself.

"Mariah and I have a new sister-in-law too," Tessa said, gesturing to Lola.

"And I have a new…brother-in-law," Mariah struggled with the words.

Austin spread his arms apart and said, "Bring it in."

Mariah looked at Tessa, who nodded at her.

Mariah moved towards Austin, who was so enthusiastic with his hug, that Mariah didn't have time to hug him back, as she stood with her arms bent against him.

"Welcome to the family," Austin said.

"Thanks," Mariah said.

"We are going to spend lots of time together as family," Austin said.

"That's nice," Mariah said, "Tessa, how do you turn him off?"

Austin released his hold on Mariah, her arms still bent close to herself, as she backed up to Tessa's side.

"I think my husband is a little over excited," Lola said, "He didn't mean any harm."

"No, it's fine," Mariah said, "Lola, why don't you and I catch up, give these two some time together."

As Mariah and Lola walked away, Austin said, "We know how to clear a room. I was only showing some affection, I didn't meant to scare her off."

"It takes more than you to rattle Mariah," Tessa said.

"You look radiant," Austin said.

"That's the way I feel," Tessa said, "Today has been perfect."

"A beautiful venue, two equally stunning brides," Austin said, his eyes scanning the room before continuing, "No, unwanted guests."

"He wouldn't dare show his face here," Tessa said.

"So, has our father been staying away from you?" Austin said, "No run ins with him?"

Tessa hesitated, but knew it was no use lying to her brother. Noticing her uneasiness, Austin said, "So, you have seen him. What has he done this time?"

"It was after you left on your honeymoon," Tessa said, "Just before Mariah and I moved into the apartment. When we returned, we found a bottle of champagne in an ice bucket and two glasses. I initially thought it was from you, but then I found the card and it was from him."

"He was in your home?" Austin glared.

"Yes, but he wasn't there when we got back," Tessa said, "Chance scoured the place and we reinforced all the locks."

"How did he get in?" Austin said.

"There was window open in the bedroom," Tessa said.

"It looks like I will have to have a talk with our dear old dad," Austin said.

"No, please don't," Tessa said, "I haven't seen or heard from him since. You are only here for a short visit, don't waste it on him."

"Alright, I will let it go," Austin said, "For now."

"Good," Tessa said, "Now, I would like a dance with my brother."

"It just so happens he is free for one," Austin smiled.

"We were getting worried, you were cutting it close, for your arrival," Chloe said.

"Yes, well, we had some boy trouble," Rachel said.

"What did Kyle do now?" Chloe teased.

"It wasn't me," Kyle defended.

"It turns out the only reason Susie wanted to baby-sit, was so she could rendezvous with a boy," Rachel said.

"She what?" Kevin said, chiming the same with Faith, who had overheard.

"Do you know anything about this?" Rachel said.

"No, Susie never said anything to me about being interested in a boy," Faith said, "You've got to admire her boldness." Noticing the look, on the faces of her friend's parents, Faith added, "Even though it was wrong."

"Well, this boy wasn't too smart," Kyle said, "He showed up at the door as we were leaving."

"Susie had no choice but to admit her intentions," Rachel said.

"I directed him to the exit," Kyle said.

"And you still left her to baby-sit?" Kevin said, "You know she is just going to call this kid right back."

"No, she won't because I have her phone," Rachel said.

"Plus, I enlisted my aunt's help," Kyle said, "Traci is watching both girls today."

"Susie protested she didn't need a sitter," Rachel said, "But based on her actions today, I disagree."

"I am glad Traci was willing to help out," Kevin said, "And that you Kyle were there to help the situation."

"I'm glad I was there too," Kyle said, "This kid didn't look too wholesome."

"Who is he anyway?" Kevin said, "Someone from the high school?"

"I didn't get the whole story, he looked about Susie's age," Rachel said, "She called him Karl."

"Not Karl Therron," Faith said, aghast.

"Why, who is that?" Kevin said.

"He goes to the high school," Faith said, "He's 17, good looking, a real charmer and first class creep. He has a reputation with the girls."

"What kind of reputation?" Kevin said.

"He chooses a girl, wins her over and spends special time with her, if you get my meaning," Faith said, "Then he dumps them and moves on to his next conquest."

"Now he has set his sights on my daughter," Rachel said.

"You have to keep her away from him," Faith said, "I hear he can get mean if a girl won't let him get close. I can tell Susie that too."

"This kid better hope I don't catch him first," Kevin said, "We are going to have to talk to our daughter."

"Yes, we will," Rachel said.

"If I haven't told you before, you both look beautiful," Kyle said, standing before Mariah and Tessa.

"Thank you, we couldn't have got through this today, without you," Mariah said.

"It was my pleasure," Kyle said. Looking at Tessa, Kyle continued, "I believe I owe someone a hug, how about a dance instead?"

"Well, how can I say no to such a handsome suiter?" Tessa said, following Kyle to the dance area.

Mariah and Austin were left standing together.

"I don't suppose you would…" Austin said.

"I don't think so," Mariah said.

"Not even one spin around the dance floor?" Austin said, "Sister dear?"

"Please don't call me that," Mariah said.

"It would make Tessa happy to see us getting along," Austin said.

"Are you trying to blackmail me?" Mariah said.

"I would genuinely like to dance with you," Austin said, "And bury the hatchet at the same time."

"Alright," Mariah sighed, "I agree to the dance. The hatchet we will leave for another time."

Austin smiled as he offered her his arm, which Mariah accepted.

"I can't believe we have to worry about Susie and boys," Kevin said.

"It was bound to happen," Rachel said, "I have to admit, I have had my share of not so great choices with boyfriends, in the past. One of them was named Kevin Fisher."

Rachel smiled at Kevin to let him know she was joking, as he smirked at her. "There," Rachel said, "I made you smile."

"What do you say we stop talking about this?" Kevin said, "When was the last time you and I danced?"

Shaking her head, Rachel said, "I don't remember."

Kevin offered Rachel his hand, which she took, following his lead to the dance floor.

As Kyle and Tessa danced, Kyle said, "Tessa let me ask you something. Am I crazy?"

"In general, I would say no," Tessa said, "Unless you have pulled a foolish stunt."

"I haven't done anything outlandish," Kyle said, "Except fall in love."

"Things are heating up with you and Summer," Tessa said, "Choosing her as your mate could be considered crazy."

"Summer and I are not together anymore," Kyle said, "I've reconciled with Rachel."

Tessa stopped dancing as she said, "You what?"

"I realized that Rachel is the one I truly love," Kyle said.

"Oh, true love," Tessa gushed, "Like Mariah and me. Only difference is I don't plan on smashing my bride's heart into tiny pieces."

"I know, I hurt Rachel," Kyle said, "And I will forever feel terrible about that. However, she and I have talked about it and agreed to take things slow. This evening, as each other's date, is a good start."

"I did notice you two seem a bit cozier than usual," Tessa said.

"I don't want to mess things up this time," Kyle said, "Am I hoping for something that's not there?"

"I see the way she looks at you," Tessa said, "I don't think she ever stopped loving you. Tonight she looks very happy and I think that's because of you. If you truly love her, you can make it work."

Rachel was quiet while she danced with Kevin, causing him to say, "Hey, are you still with me?"

Jerking her attention back to Kevin, Rachel said, "I'm sorry, my mind was on something else."

"You mean someone else?" Kevin said, "You and Abbott back together. Who would have thought?"

"Not me," Rachel said, "I thought Kyle and I missed our chance."

"I can see he has fallen back in love with you," Kevin said.

"But am I making a big mistake?" Rachel said, "Trusting my heart to him once again?"

"Do you want to be with him?" Kevin said.

"More than anything," Rachel said.

"Then leave the past where it is," Kevin said, "You never know what life is going to throw at you, so don't take what you have with him for granted. Enjoy your time together now, without worrying if the past will repeat itself. Besides, you can take solace in knowing, if he hurts you again, I will rough him up, more than a little."

Laughing, Rachel said, "Well, with you and Chloe looking out for me, I guess I have nothing to worry about."

"That's right," Kevin said, "Always here for you."

"Hey stranger," a voice spoke from behind Kyle.

"Summer," Kyle smiled, "You look amazing."

"Thank you," Summer said, "You're pretty dapper yourself." Kyle nodded as Summer said, "You did a great job officiating. Who knew you would be Reverend Abbott one day?"

"Emphasis on the one day part," Kyle said.

"Did you bring a date?" Summer said.

"I came with Rachel," Kyle said.

"Oh?" Summer said.

"I know this is you, hedging to find out, if Rachel and I are back together," Kyle said.

"And…?" Summer said.

"Yes," Kyle said, "She and I have reconciled."

"That's wonderful," Summer smiled.

"It is?" Kyle said.

"I am happy you moved on and found happiness," Summer said.

"I am determined not to mess it up this time," Kyle said.

"I have every confidence in the two of you," Summer said.

"Thanks," Kyle said, "What about you, I see you're here with Baldwin."

"Fen is great," Summer said, "But we are just friends."

"If you say so," Kyle said.

"I do say so," Summer said.

"Would you like to dance?" Kyle said.

"Oh, I don't think we should subject your significant other to that," Summer said.

"She's dancing with Fisher, not my favorite person," Kyle said.

"Okay, why not?" Summer said, "For old times sake."

"Chloe?" Mariah said, rushing over to her, "Have you seen Kevin? I was hoping to have a dance with him before Tessa and I have to leave."

"My husband is otherwise occupied," Chloe said.

"What does that mean?" Mariah said.

"He is too busy dancing with and chatting up his ex-wife," Chloe said.

"I thought his ex was your friend," Mariah said, "You sound almost jealous."

"Did you know Kevin has been fixated on Rachel ever since she walked through the entranceway?" Chloe said.

"Yes but Rachel and Kyle are back together," Mariah said, "So, I don't think you have anything to worry about."

"I heard about their reunion," Chloe said, "So why is my friend glued to my husband!"

"They are friends," Mariah reminded, "They share a child. I'm sure they are just catching up."

"Of course, catching up, reminiscing," Chloe said, "I need another drink."

Kevin and Rachel were laughing together, when Kyle said, "There you are. I was wondering where you got to."

"Kevin and I were talking, I guess I lost track of time," Rachel said.

"We should get going," Kyle said, "It's getting late, I don't want to take advantage of Traci much longer."

"You're right we should call it a night," Rachel said.

"Has anyone seen my beautiful wife anywhere?" Kevin said.

"I'm right here," Chloe said walking over.

"We're leaving," Rachel said, "I'll see you later."

"Sure," Chloe said, "Go be with your man. Then I can have mine back."

"Excuse me?" Rachel said.

"Chloe, are you alright?" Kevin said.

"Fine," Chloe said, "I had a great time watching the two of you monopolize each other all evening."

"It sounds like you are insinuating there is something going on between me and Rachel," Kevin said.

"Which couldn't be further from the truth," Rachel said.

"I'm just calling it like I saw it," Chloe said.

"You could have come over and joined us," Rachel said.

"I didn't want to interrupt," Chloe said, "I mean you looked so cozy."

"You remember I'm with Kyle, right?" Rachel said.

"This is all just a misunderstanding," Kyle said.

"If you must know, Rachel and I had an issue with Susie to discuss," Kevin said, "Then we started having a conversation about other things. Why do you have such a problem with that?"

"I'm not the one with the problem," Chloe said, "And I would like to go home now."

"I couldn't agree more," Kevin said. Addressing Rachel and Kyle, Kevin said, "I'm sorry about this, I don't know what's gotten into her."

"Don't apologize for me," Chloe said.

"You've been drinking," Kevin said.

"Well, I didn't have anything else to do," Chloe said.

"I'm going to take her home," Kevin said, "Excuse us."

They left the room, leaving a confused Rachel and Kyle watching after them.

"That was such a wonderful evening," Summer said, entering Fen's apartment with him following.

"It was a lot of fun," Fen said, "Now aren't you glad you went."

"Yes, I had a good time," Summer said, "You were right."

"I was what?" Fen said, "Would you mind putting that in writing?"

"Funny," Summer said.

"Are you sure you don't want me to take you home?" Fen said.

"Are you trying to get rid of me?" Summer said.

"Never," Fen said, "It's just late, I thought you might be tired."

"I'm good," Summer said, "I had so much fun, that I wanted to spend more time with you."

"You'll get no argument from me," Fen said.

"Despite what I just said, my feet are killing me," Summer said, kicking off her shoes and sitting on the couch.

"Would you like a drink?" Fen said, "A nightcap?"

"No more alcohol today," Summer said, "Some water would be nice."

"Coming right up," Fen said, disappearing into the kitchen, reappearing seconds later.

"Thanks," Summer said, taking the water from Fen, enjoying a few sips, as he joined her on the couch.

Fen was quiet, prompting Summer to say, "Have we run out of things to say to each other?"

"I was just looking," Fen said, "At you."

"Why do I have hair out of place?" Summer said, "Is there something on my face?"

"How is it, that every time I look at you, you are more and more beautiful," Fen said.

"That's a sweet thing to say," Summer said.

"It's the truth," Fen said, "I know you and agreed to just be friends, but there is something I have to say. I can't keep this in anymore."

"Go ahead," Summer said.

"Summer, I'm in love with you," Fen said, "There is no doubt in my mind, that you are the one for me. You are the woman of my dreams. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you are the love of my life. I would do anything for you."

Summer reached up and caressed Fen's cheek with her hand, causing Fen to close his eyes, at the magical feeling of her touch.

"You really do love me," Summer said.

"With all my heart," Fen said.

Staring into each other eyes, they shared a tender kiss.

As they parted, Summer said, "You want to hear something amazing?" Fen nodded. "I love you too," Summer said.

A smile crept across Fen's face, as he pulled her into a more passionate embrace.

"Thanks again, Traci!" Kyle said, as he closed the door behind her.

"That was what I needed," Rachel said, "A night out."

"Since the girls are asleep, I'll get out of your hair and see you tomorrow," Kyle said.

"First of all, I'm not sure Susie is asleep, or just pouting in her room," Rachel said, "Secondly, where do you think you are going?"

"I was going to the main house," Kyle said, "To sleep."

"Do you have to go yet?" Rachel said.

"I don't have to," Kyle said, "You want me to stay for awhile?"

"I was thinking, maybe you could spend the night," Rachel said.

"You tempt me," Kyle smirked, "But I don't think it's such a good idea."

"Why not?" Rachel said.

"With me on the couch and knowing you are in the bedroom, I wouldn't get any sleep," Kyle said.

Placing her hands on Kyle's shoulders, Rachel said, "Who said anything about the couch?" She reached up to kiss him and then said, "Also, who said anything about sleeping."

"Are you sure?" Kyle said, "Because I thought were taking things…" Kyle was cut off as Rachel pulled him into another kiss.

Moving to kiss his neck and his shoulder, Kyle closed his eyes and said, "Okay, I can stay."

Kyle picked Rachel up off her feet, as she caressed his cheek with kisses, all the way to the bedroom. Seducing each other into bed, they couple reviled in their desire for one another.

As they wound down their love making, Kyle and Rachel were too involved with each other to notice footsteps in the hallway. Susie crept downstairs, with a backpack on her shoulder. Grabbing a coat she glanced towards the upstairs, before slipping out the front door, quietly closing it behind her. Walking down the path she spotted the sports car, and climbed in next to Karl.

"Are you ready for the adventure of a lifetime?" Karl said, kissing Susie on the cheek.

"I'm all in," Susie said, as Karl sped off the property.
