Review Response:

Clown Exorcist: Why would I include a lemon, they are 13?

ShadowBloodedge9396: I had that idea for Coriana since Werefox, which I implemented just not well. I might make a few adjustments, or not, to the harem. Koneko teasing Naruto was a lot of fun, because she too was affected by the event of seeing his… interest in her.

Phillyitalian: LOL, that would be funny.

Redmen6blight: Koneko will tease him, just that of the Bael Peerage, Coriana is the teaser. What changes?

Nathair1: Yes, but who killed Jiraiya? Kisame Hoshigake. A vile, most powerful enemy Naruto is far from fighting evenly. Especially with Samehada. Yeah, puberty was a fucking nightmare.

Borello: Thank you.

Harem:

OKAY, LETS READ THIS SHIT! I DON'T OWN NARUTO, ONE PIECE, HIGHSCHOOL DXD OR ANY OTHER ANIME I MAY REFERENCE!

Chapter 25: Of Men and Criminals

Underworld, Clan Meeting Hall…

Sirzechs, Serafall, Falbium, and Ajuka sat before the remaining Heads of the Pillar families and the Three Elders.

"What is this meeting about?" Danzo asked his Kings.

Sirzechs took a deep breath as he stood up.

"The Amy Family… has been killed." Sirzechs informed.

Gasps, GASPS, I tell you were heard all through out the room.

"How?" Zeoticus asked in calm panic.

"We had our agents look into it." Falbium stated as he snapped his fingers, causing a magic display to appear. "We have evidence that it was these two men who killed them. The Pawn and Bishop of Leonard Amy."

"Where are they? These Strays should not be allowed to roam!" Edward Sitri shouted.

"We have a team looking for them." Serafall said as she altered the display to show Lucci, Kaku, Jabra, and…

"YOU LET NARUTO GO WITH THEM!" Jonathan Phenex shouted, standing up, earning the gazes of his peers. "NARUTO IS THIRTEEN, HOW COULD YOU LET HIM GO ON SUCH A DANGEROUS MISSION! ESPECIALLY WHEN A JASHINIST IS INVOLVED!"

Danzo gripped his cane.

"I agree with Lord Phenex, my Kings." He said calmly. "Why risk a child's life for this hunt? These criminals are strong, from what the reports say on these two."

"Lucci assured us that Young Bael wouldn't be allowed to fight the Strays, merely observe and help around the camp." Ajuka stated.

This did little to stem the uncomfortable air about sending a teenager with assassins on a Hunt, but it was to late.

"We ask that you tell your children and your workers to stay home until these two are killed." Sirzechs announced.

All agreed.

Two Days Later, Amazon Lily…

Kuroka raised her hammer, and with a precise strike, hit the glowing metal.

Sparks flew into the air.

"Wow, our little cat has been in the forge for nearly two days." The head blacksmith said as she watched Kuroka put the hammer down for a pair of tongs, grabbing the piece of metal before dunking it in water.

Steam bellowed from the water, the metal losing its glow as Kuroka stirred it around a few times before pulling it out.

'Okay, that is the last piece.' Kuroka thought as she looked it over, seeing no flaws in her work.

She put the metal down next to an identical piece that rested next to a few other pieces of metal.

Now cooled down, the metal was not an expected steel color, but an off white/ivory bone color.

"Well, well, well, you outdid yourself, Kuroka." The Blacksmith said as she took the pieces in her hand.

She could feel magic within each piece.

"Thank you." Kuroka said with a bow, sweat pouring from her body due to the heat of the forge. "But I am nowhere close to being done…"

Kuroka took a single piece, grabbing the nearby hammer.

"I must test it…" Kuroka said as she raised the hammer.

She struck the metal.

Her face contorted into a big, toothy grin.

She got the expected outcome.

'Don't worry, Shirone.' Kuroka thought as she took the rest of the metal and followed the blacksmith to start engraving. 'Big sister is going to protect you.'

Meanwhile, Underworld…

"You sure Naruto isn't there?" Koneko asked Ravel as she walked back and forth in her room.

"For the umpteenth time, Third Wheel, Naruto isn't here." Ravel said in irritation on the other side of the phone.

Koneko faltered in concern.

Naruto hasn't messaged or called her since he left with Lucci two days prior.

On top of that, Rias had told her how the Amy family was killed by two Stray Devils.

Suffice to say, Koneko was on edge.

"Sorry, I am just… worried about him." Koneko admitted softly.

Ravel didn't reply immediately.

"I am also worried about him, Toujo." Ravel responded. "But we have to remember, Naruto is strong. He is going to be safe."

Koneko smiled lightly.

"Thanks, Phenex."

"No problem."

They hung up after that, Koneko slumped, holding her tanto close to her chest.

After a few moments of moping, Koneko shook her head before clapping her hands against her cheeks.

'Come on, Naruto is going to be safe. I shouldn't worry too much.' Koneko thought as she stood up. 'Naruto wouldn't want me to be sad.'

Exiting her room, Koneko was greeted by Kiba.

"Kiba, can you help me." Koneko asked her male cohort.

"Sure, what do you need help with?" Kiba asked with his charming smile.

Meanwhile, Phenex Mansion…

Ravel threw a slab of steak in the air, Loona jumping up high and catching it.

Onimaru latched onto the other side, both himself and Loona scowling, growling, and attempting to pull the steak away from the other

"Here you go, Onimaru." Ravel said as she threw a second steak, Onimaru releasing the previous piece to catch the new piece.

Ravel smiled as she watched her familiars eat their meal.

But she felt a weight on her shoulders.

Worry.

Concern.

Fear.

Anxiety.

"Sup, sister."

"Kisara?" Ravel asked when she heard Kisara's voice.

"How you feeling?" Kisara asked as she put her arm around Ravel's shoulders. "You seem down."

"Not really…"

"You sure? Since you came back two days ago, you've been acting… different." Kisara interrupted.

Ravel's face faltered and became sad.

"I am… I have been worried about Naruto since he left with his… I can't say if they were comrades of his, but three men, one he called sensei." Ravel admitted as she leaned into Kisara.

Kisara nodded in understanding.

"I know it is worrisome when the person you like leaves…"

"WHO SAID I LIKE NARUTO?" Ravel shouted in panic.

Kisara giggled.

"You just did, but that's not what I am getting to." Kisara said as her hand patted Ravel's head. "You are worried about him because you care. Naruto cares about you too."

Skip, Evening…

Naruto sneezed, forcing Jabra to dodge wit Kami-e.

"Hey, you little shit!" Jabra shouted as he grabbed Naruto. "You nearly sneezed on me."

"Sorry, Jabra…" Naruto apologized as he was dropped onto his feet.

"Jeez, Jabra, its just a bit of snot, it wouldn't kill you." Kaku said as he returned to the camp with some firewood.

Lucci was no where to be seen, and all the while he had been gone, Naruto was setting up two tents, preparing a fire ring, and the food while Jabra sat around and drank.

"The fuck do you mean 'Just a bit of snot', Kaku?" Jabra growled as the giraffe put the wood down, setting up the small twigs and branches before grabbing a small knife and flint, striking it to start the fire.

"It is what it is." Kaku snipped as he kept the fire going as Naruto walked over with a pot.

"I chopped the veggies and deer meat for stew." Naruto said as he held up the full pot of ingredients.

"Thank you, at least you are more helpful than Jabra." Kaku jabbed as he stoked the fire.

"HEY!"

"Thank you, Kaku." Naruto thanked, earning a smile from the square nosed man.

Jabra grumbled as he pulled out the paperwork again to reread the file.

And then Jabra started laughing as the fire roared to life.

"What is so funny, Jabra?" Kaku asked as he set up the pot above the fire, which started to heat up.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAHAGHAYAHGYAAAHAYAGHAJAJAJAJAJAJA!" Jabra laughed, holding up Kakuzu's file. "YOUR NAME IS IDENTICAL TO ONE OF THE MOTHERFUCKERS WE ARE AFTER!"

Kaku deadpanned.

"That is funny, to you?" Kaku asked in heavy irritation.

Jabra continued to holler, collapsing onto his back as his feet kicked in the air.

"Uhm, if it isn't any trouble," Naruto asked as he stirred the pot. "Would it be okay to ask about your Yontoryu, Kaku? You mentioned teaching me once."

Kaku turned to Naruto as Jabra's laughter died down.

"I'd rather not speak about it TOO much, every place has ears, but I can write it down for you when this is over. That way, you can train." Kaku offered.

"I would like that…"

"But only the basics and some additional information. All techniques I created will stay with me." Kaku stated sternly.

He spent years creating and mastering Yontoryu, so he felt like it was a fair trade.

"I… understand, sir." Naruto said with gratitude. 'Even if it is only the basics, I would like having an additional style.'

"Hey, I'll do the same!" Jabra shouted competitively as he scrambled to his hands and knees before standing up. "I'll do the same for my Tekkai-Kenpo, basics only but all else is mine."

Naruto's eyes widened as Kaku's thinned.

'He can't be seriously jealous over me passing my style on to a student?' Kaku thought as Naruto nodded.

"Thank you, Jabra."

Jabra's ego was stroked.

"Anyway, when we find these two bastards, you'll get to see how superior my Tekkai-Kenpo is compared to Kaku's 'Fighting Style'." Jabra slandered.

"HEY, my Yontoryu can break through your Tekkai any day of the week!" Kaku shouted, standing up as sparks burst from the fire.

'Oh, no, not again.' Naruto thought as he stayed silent, shrinking down as small as he could as Jabra stood up, a massive shit eating grin on his face.

"Perfect, I wanted a reason to kill you for a while. Showing off my skills and killing you will show the boy how much better my skills are." Jabra cackled.

Kaku and Jabra started to…

"Enough."

Lucci appeared before the trio, Jabra and Kaku stepping away.

"Lucci/Lucci/Sensei."

"COO!"

"Hattori." Naruto said as the pigeon landed on his shoulder.

The pigeon pecked Naruto in the head.

"Ow, OW, yes I have your meal." Naruto said in annoyance as he pulled out some nuts he had found while searching for food.

Hattori started eating out of his palm.

"Hattori never took to anyone else, beside me." Lucci said in small amount of surprise as he sat down, the pot starting to boil, the scent of cooked meat and veggies exiting the pot.

"Well, I have that kind of personality." Naruto joked as he sat down.

Jabra broke open a bottle of gin with a laugh.

"You lucked out, Kaku. I'd have killed you." Jabra stated before taking a deep swig.

Kaku gained a tick mark.

"Naruto, do you have any paper?" Kaku asked as he was ready to write the Yontoryu instructions.

"Uhm…"

Naruto reached into his pouch, and could only find his grandfather's journal.

"So," Lucci said as he snatched the journal from Naruto's hands. "This is the journal of the famed Ashura."

Jabra and Kaku's eyes widened.

"THE Ashura?" Jabra asked as he looked at Lucci and then Naruto. "HOW THE FUCK DID YOU FIND THAT?"

"Uh…"

"They know you are his grandson, Uzumaki D. Naruto." Lucci said as he looked through the book, noticing the pages Jiraiya had written the Rasengan instructions on. "Here, at least eleven pages safe for Kaku and Jabra to add their styles to your journal."

Naruto stayed quiet.

"Can… can I have that back…" Naruto asked as he didn't feel comfortable with anyone looking in the journal.

It was his, it belonged to his family.

Shouldn't it be kept family only then?

"Don't worry, Naruto." Kaku said confidently as he took the journal from Lucci, taking a pen, opening it to the empty pages. "I won't look. I promise."

"I don't!" Jabra added.

Naruto face palmed.

Hattori cooed in his ear, before his beak poked him in the temple.

"FUCK!"

"So, Lucci, did you find them?" Kaku asked as the stew continued to cook while he wrote in the journal.

Lucci became serious.

"We are close, but they are crafty." Lucci answered. "They covered their tracks well, but Hattori and I found the tracks with effort."

"That's amazing, Sensei." Naruto said in admiration.

Lucci smirked as he looked at his student while Naruto returned his attention to cooking.

'His survival training must have been difficult of he is able to survive with this amount of ease.' Lucci thought as he watched Naruto divvy up the stew between the four of them.

It honestly astounded Lucci how easily Naruto hunted the deer, butchered it, and then prepared it to be eaten.

Of course, Naruto was no professional butcher so the meat had some fat on it, but it was no matter.

After they took what they needed, Naruto buried the deer before he went off looking for veggies.

'Jiraiya must have drilled survival into his head along with his normal training.' Lucci thought as he took his bowl and utensils.

"OH, FUCK THIS IS DELICIOUS!" Jabra screamed, his voice audibly becoming a howl like a wolf as he did.

"Indeed, but must you be so loud?" Kaku asked as he ate his meal, not minding the meat despite being a giraffe.

"Stuff it, long neck."

"Is that supposed to be racist?"

"Take it that way if you want, long neck." Jabra shrugged off.

'These two never change.' Lucci thought as the fire's light illuminated the darkness that encroached them.

Meanwhile…

"Come on, Kakuzu, you really think your old partner is going to help us?" Hidan complained as he followed Kakuzu.

"Yes, now shut up before I murder you." Kakuzu stated in irritation.

He was temperamental.

Having to avoid being found by a Leopard, having to listen to Hidan's BITCHING, and fighting the urge to SILENCE that bitching had led to Kakuzu's patience being THIN.

"You said this guy went straight after he served his time." Hidan pointed out. "He even was offered a position in Beelzebub's peerage, but refused, only asking to do business in seclusion."

"Yes, Shigure will help us. He owes me a life debt." Kakuzu stated as he started to recognize the terrene. "We are close. When we arrive, keep your mouth shut while I do the talking. Shigure is not interested in the kinds of people like you, Hidan. You'll only cause trouble."

"Wha~at?" Hidan asked as his hand gripped his weapon. "You are joking? Aren't you?"

Hidan's throat was impaled by a thick, gray wire.

A garbled noise ruptured with blood out of the wound and Hidan's mouth.

"I. AM." Kakuzu stated slowly, punctuating each word. "NOT. JOKING!"

Hidan frowned as the wire was removed from his throat.

"Okay, fine, I get it. I'll be quiet." Hidan complied as he touched his throat as smaller wires sewed the entrance and exit wounds shut. "Did you really have to stab me? These were my only clothes you know."

Kakuzu growled again in heavy annoyance.

"Just follow me, and BE quiet!" he warned again as he saw what appeared to be a small clinic in the distance. "We are nearly there."

"Ugh, finally…" Hidan groaned in appreciation as they picked up the pace and closed the distance between them and their destination.

They entered the vicinity of the clinic, only for Kakuzu to turn, raising his arms which became a darkened brown.

"What ar…" Hidan turned, only to have his eyes widen as he was cut down, the item carving him in half heading toward Kakuzu, who took the hit, wincing in aggravation as he pushed it away.

The weapon flew off, landing in its owner's hand.

"So, it was you I felt heading here, Kakuzu."

"Precise with your throws as usual, Shigure." Kakuzu replied as he ended his technique on his arms.

Shigure was tall, lanky man, his muscles evident on his arms, but they were not massive.

Shigure had a strange sense of fashion. He had two large piercings on his lip and head, each sporting a chain. Additionally, he has three smaller piercings on the left side of his jaw. He also has a large scar across his face and a dim gray ponytail kept up via a bright blue bow. He currently wore a light blue, sleeveless robe, white pants, and black bandages wrapping both of his forearms. Also, he hung a strange U-shaped device from his head behind his ears.

"HEY, ASSHOLE!" Hidan shouted on the ground, his torso missing his arms as his legs lay limp next to him. 'HOW DARE YOU CUT ME DOWN, I'LL SACRIFICE YOU TO JASHIN!"

"Hm, quite the noisy partner, old friend." Shigure said as he put his weapon around him. "Also, an annoying one, Jashin immortals usually are. It is the only reason he survived my Rinka Enreki-to."

His weapon, the Rinka Enreki-to, was a MASSIVE ring sword.

Like a giant chakram, but with a small portion being a handle that could safely fit one of Shigure's hands.

"I'M STILL TALKING, FUCK-TARD!" Hidan screamed as Kakuzu and Shigure walked toward Shigure's home.

"Come, let us ignore the pissant and get a drink, Kakuzu." Shigure offered. "Also, let me check out my Masks. It has been some time since I gave them to you, they might need some maintenance."

"I've been keeping track of my hearts condition," Kakuzu said as they entered, Hidan's screams going quiet. "But if you insist, I'll let you take a look."

The old friends sat down, weapons aside them.

"HEY, I'M STILL OUT HERE!" Hidan screamed in futility.

Hours passed before Shigure exited his home.

"About time, jackass, now help me in, and get Kakuzu, he is the only one who can stitch me back together." Hidan demanded as he was picked up piece by piece by Shigure.

"No, I will do it." Shigure stated as he walked toward the surgery table.

"What?" Hidan asked, calming down as he was getting put back together soon.

"I am Shigure, the Surgeon of Darkness." Shigure informed him.

Hidan went silent.

'One of the BEST demon surgeons in the underworld.' Hidan thought as he was put on the table.

"How do you think Kakuzu became the way he is, and taught him how to stitch things together…" Shigure's eye quirked an eyebrow. "I see he has gotten rusty, from that throat of yours."

Hidan stayed silent.

"If you want, I can rework all the current stitching Kakuzu did on you." Shigure offered as he got his needles and threat ready. "After all, improper stitching can cause stiffness in the body and hinder your movements."

Hidan… thought about it.

'Eh, if he can do a better job than Kakuzu, then I don't mind him stitching me up.' He thought. 'Especially if it keeps me limber.'

"Sure, go ahead, Shigure." Hidan said calmly.

"Fine, but your payment method must be discussed first." Shigure stated as he stared at the man. "You must never pray to Jashin again, IF I go through with the further stitching."

"OH, HELL NO!" Hidan screamed, lunging forward. "I'LL NEVER REBUKE LORD JASHIN! JUST DO THE NORMAL STITCHING!"

Shigure nodded.

"As you wish, my dear customer." Shigure said as he pushed Hidan back down and prepared to stitch him back together.
