Prologue
It was done. It was finally over. True, Destiny Gundam was heavily damaged and floating through space aimlessly, but the invasion had been stopped and the ELS had been utterly destroyed in the final battle. Lancex, badly injured and bleeding from various places, was strapped down inside the damaged Gundam while they both floated through space. He had gone this far as an ELS had attacked and the only way he knew to destroy it was to take it far out into the bitterly freezing space in the middle of nowhere. Knowing that he was dying, he started drifting off deeper into space, happy to have helped destroy those who had threatened his home world. He had no idea that his destiny was not finished, not by along shot.
As the robot craft drifted aimlessly and further though space, with an unconscious Lancex at the helm, a bright white light suddenly appeared outside the Gundam. It was of a bot that easily passed between worlds and dimensions as Primus directed, a bot named Slugbug, who knew this world about as well as his own. Bug knew of Lancex and his Gundam. But seeing them heavily damaged and floating aimlessly in space was troubling to the small bot. Slugbug moved closer, touching the Gundam, healing not only it but also the unconscious human inside thanks to the small power of Primus that Slugbug was given to use for good.
Seeing that this part of the mission Primus had asssigned the small bot was complete, Slugbug then waved his right hand and a strange golden colored orb appeared in the abyss of space. Slugbug knew where this young man was needed most, and so he used a special warp to send Lancex to where his ultimate destiny lie. Slugbug waved as the craft/robot went through the powerful warp. Bug knew he would receive no response, but he only hoped that when Lancex woke, he would see that he still had much to give and much more life to live, far from home and with strange new beings.
