Made a couple of changes to this chappie nothin' much just changed some grammatical errors and some new bits.

A DEMON CHANGES EVERYTHING
Chapter 1
"This is Dialogue"

This is Telepathic conversation
{ As of 12:30 today, a special state of emergency has been declared for the Kanto and Chubu regions surrounding the Tokai district. All residents must evacuate to their designated shelters immediately.} echoed the tannoy system throughout the city.

A young man was standing by a public telephone, he was wearing black jeans and a T-shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his shoulders his muscles were well toned for his age but it suited him.
He put the handset back on its cradle, "Huh, all the phones are out and the monorails aren't running either. I should have guessed with father in charge. Hmm, wonder where to go now." pondered the young man.
Suddenly he felt a presence of some kind; he looked around and noticed a teen girl. She was about his age; she was dressed in a school uniform. What he first noticed about her was her blue hair and red eyes. Birds took flight taking his attention away from the young teen, when he looked back she was gone. He shrugged it off with some of the things he'd seen this didn't faze him.
Rummaging through his duffle bag, he pulled out a picture of a young woman with purple hair. She looked to be in her late 20's early 30's, on the picture it said,
"Shinji, I'll come pick you up. Misato Katsuragi" to the left it had "P.S. LOOK AT THIS!!!" with an arrow pointing to her breasts.
Shinji remembered something that had happened when he was staying with Akira and the Makimura's.

Shinji suddenly woke up; he ran his hand through his hair, 'If I keep having these nightmares I'll never get any sleep.' Thought Shinji as he looked over at Akira's bed to see Miki standing there. Unbeknownst to Shinji Akira also had a nightmare,
"You were having a nightmare, it sounded horrible." said Miki as Akira reached forward and flipped her nightdress up revealing her underwear. One thought came to Shinji's mind, 'Nice Ass!'
Akira sat in bed he seemed to be lost in thought, "God it was hideous." said Akira not realizing what he said,
"Akira!"
Akira looked up at Miki, "Huh"
Miki punched Akira in the face,
"Yeow!" exclaimed Akira.
"That'll teach you, how dare you say my knickers are hideous."
Akira spun his legs out of the bed and sat on the edge, "It was a horrible dream."
"Well, what happened?" questioned Miki,
"Oh, ah forget it."
"Ok" replied Miki as she sat down on the bed, "If you're still frightened, perhaps I should stay with you."
Akira looked at her confused, "Huh, but your father would kill me… besides it's not right."
Miki chuckled, "Don't worry I wasn't gonna stay with you really." Miki stood up, "you're sweating, you really ought to take a bath."
"Nah, I'll dry off in a minute, besides I can't be bothered." replied Akira,
"You pig! I couldn't stand not having a bath everyday."
"Let me know next time, I'll soak your tits for you, w-hay!"
"Akira! You're disgusting." yelled Miki.
Miki walked out the room just as she was about to close the door Akira called out to her, "Hey Miki, just an idea but why don't you change your underwear."
"Look, just piss off will you." yelled Miki. Both Akira and Shinji Chuckled.

Shinji put the photo back in his pocket he was snapped out of his reverie by a VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) jet flying over. The VTOLs sent a barrage of missiles at an unknown target, when the target came into view Shinji knew exactly what it was, {An Angel and Sachiel none the less. what the hell are you doing here?} Sachiel sent an energy spike from its hand which impaled a VTOL when it retracted the spike the VTOL began to fall towards Shinji.
When the VTOL landed Shinji didn't move he didn't even seem surprised when it landed a few feet away. Sachiel used its A.T. field to levitate burning a couple of VTOL as it did. when it landed it stepped on the VTOL near Shinji causing it to explode, Shinji quickly covered his eyes to protect them from the blast.
When he opened them he saw a blue sports car with the passenger door open the young woman from the picture was holding it open. She called to him,
"Sorry am I real late? Get in." wasting no time he jumped in and shut the door. Misato put the car in reverse when it was far enough from Sachiel she did a 180° turn changing to first gear and put her foot down.
Misato pulled up on the outskirts of town, she leaned over the back of her seat looking for binoculars. While she was doing this Shinji got out and stood next to the bonnet. Misato stuck her head out the window next to Shinji, looking through the binoculars she saw the VTOLs move away from the Angel. Misato realized what was going to happen,
"Oh no, they're gonna use an N2 mine. Quick Shinji, get in." Shinji ignored her and put his hand on the roof of her car, while Misato dived for cover in the safety of her car. Misato lifted her head and watched in amazement as bits of debris flew past the car. Suddenly a boulder came rushing towards Shinji and the car, Shinji balled his free hand into a fist and punched the boulder shattering it into pieces. Misato was gob smacked, she had just seen a boy shatter a boulder with his bare fist. When the shockwave had subsided Shinji took his hand off the roof he then opened the door and sat in his seat.
He looked at Misato who was staring at the spot where his hand had been. There was an indentation of Shinji's hand in the metal. Shinji waved his hand in front of Misato's face trying to snap her out of it. When he did she looked at the indentation and then at Shinji after a few minutes she gave up and started the car.
Nerv Command Center
Three U.N. Generals were cheering; "We did it." said one of the Generals.
Another turned around, "Well Ikari, it looks like you won't be getting a shot at it."
"Shockwave approaching." said one of the technicians.
"What's the status of the target?" asked one of the Generals.
"We're unable to confirm, the E.M. pulse knocked everything out." replied a technician.
"It must be dead, it took the full blast." said the Second General.
"External sensors restored." reported the Magi.
"Energy reading at the epicenter." yelled a technician.
"It can't be." yelled the second General in disbelief.
"External camera's online." reported the Magi.
The Angel stood still; it looked like it was regenerating itself.
"That was our last resort." said the first General.
"No effect at all." said the third General.
"It's a Demon." said the second General.
Misato's car arrived at Nerv, they traveled through a tunnel. At the end was a set of metal doors on the drivers side was a scanner. Misato ran her ID card through the scanner, a couple of seconds later passed before the doors began to open. She drove the car through the doors onto some kind of train.
Once it started Misato turned to Shinji, "Oh yeah, did your father send you an ID card?"
Shinji thought about it, "Um… yeah, this is it." said Shinji as he handed her the ID card and a letter,
"Oh, thanks." replied Misato as she took them.
On the letter it had his name and the word 'COME!' it had been signed 'Gendo Ikari' which Misato found a little odd. She handed him a booklet with the Nerv logo on and 'FOR YOUR EYES ONLY' written on the tape sealing it shut,
"Here, read this." instructed Misato.
Shinji took the booklet and put on the back seat of her car, "I don't really need to read it, I already know what it say's." Misato a bit shocked by his reply decided not to force him to read it.
Twenty Minutes Later
"What, isn't this the right way?" questioned Misato.
They were stood on a transit system; Shinji was stood with his arms crossed over his chest, while Misato was looking at a map. They walked through corridor after corridor for ages, eventually they found an elevator. The elevator went down twenty-eight floors when it stopped. The doors opened to reveal an angry blonde woman in a lab coat with a swimsuit underneath,
"Err… hey there Ritsuko." winced Misato,
"Why are you wasting my time captain?" asked Ritsuko, "Don't you know we're short on time and man power?"
"Err, sorry."
Ritsuko sighed and looked over at Shinji, "So, is this the boy?"
"Right, according to the Marduke report he's the third child." said Misato.
Ritsuko smiled, "Pleased to meet you."
Shinji looked at her, "Like wise."
"So, what are our chances at activation?" asked Misato,
"The possibility is 0.0000000001% around here we call it the 0 nine system, as in Oni the Japanese Devil." replied Ritsuko.
The elevator stopped for a second time to reveal a dark room, after stepping out of the elevator Shinji's eyes glowed white for a few seconds revealing to him what was in the room. Suddenly the lights switched on, revealing a giant purple head.
"Hmm, so this is father's little toy?" said Shinji,
"Correct." said a voice from above, "It's been a while."
Shinji looked up to see his father behind an observation window, he looked over to Ritsuko, "Ritsuko, do you have a pen I can borrow?"
Ritsuko looked at him a bit confused but handed him one none the less. Shinji examined the pen before throwing it at the observation window. Gendo watched as a blur went past his head, he looked behind him, and in the wall was the pen. He looked at the glass it went through and thought, 'That's not possible, that was bullet proof glass.'
"We're moving out." ordered Gendo,
"Moving out but Unit-00 is still in Cryo-Stasis." Misato gasped, "Wait a minute, you're gonna use Unit-01?"
"There's no other way." replied Ritsuko,
"Now wait, Rei can't do it can she? We don't have a pilot." said Misato,
"We just received one." Ritsuko stated coldly.
Shinji, who up to now had been silent looked up at Gendo, "Ok, I'll pilot on two conditions."
"What are they?" questioned Gendo.
"One: I get paid."
"Agreed."
"Two: I get to make a few changes to Unit-01 here." Pointing to Unit-01.
Gendo sighed, "Agreed." He gave one last glance at Shinji before leaving.
Shinji turned to Ritsuko, "So, what do I do."
Ritsuko handed him some nuro- connecters and said, "Put these on." doing so she continued, "Get into the entry plug and wait for commands."
Shinji looked around for the entry plug once he found it, he took a couple of steps back. He then ran forward and jumped of the edge of the platform he was on. He jumped at least thirty feet in the air; and landed perfectly in the entry plug he then proceeded to sit down. Misato and Ritsuko who were in shock slowly made their way to the command center, while technicians gave out commands.
"Cooling process completed."
"Right arm repairs completed."
"Cage now in position for docking."
"Signal plug terminator now being ejected."
"Roger, inserting the entry plug."
"Plug locked in place."
"Connecting Unit-01."
"Filling entry plug."
Shinji heard liquid swishing; he looked down to see the source. Shinji wasn't daunted, he knew the staff at Nerv wouldn't drown him, he wasn't to sure whether his father would,
{Hey Ritsuko, why does this liquid smell like blood?} asked Shinji when he got no answer he decided that either they didn't know or they didn't want him to know. The Nerv personnel continued their list of commands.
"Connecting main power."
"All circuits transmitting."
"Roger."
"Connecting secondary contact."
"A-10 nerve connection normal."
"Configure the language lock interface for Japanese."
The view around Shinji changed, instead of seeing the murky yellow liquid he could see what Unit-01 could see.
"All preliminary contacts established, performance nominal."
"Bi- directional circuits are open."
"Synchronization ratio…" the young technician gasped.
"Well, what is it?" questioned Ritsuko.
"It… it's 92%."
"What?! That's not possible!" yelled Ritsuko after hearing the sync ratio from her assistant Maya.
Maya Continued her analysis, "Harmonics seem to be normal, I see no disturbances." said Maya with a hint of shock in her voice.
"Let's do it." said Ritsuko to Misato.
"Begin launch sequence." said Misato.
"Beginning launch sequence."
"Removing primary lock bolts."
"Removal confirmed."
"Removing the umbilical bridge."
"Removing secondary lock bolts."
"Removing primary restraints."
"Removing secondary restraints."
"Releasing safety locks one through fifty."
"Internal battery fully charged."
"External battery outlets closed."
"Roger, move Eva Unit-01 to the launch pad." Instructed Maya
Unit-01 made its way to the launch pad, once it was in place Maya checked her console, "Launch pad clear, all systems green."
"Evangelion ready for launch." stated Ritsuko.
"Understood." said Misato. She looked behind her at the commander, "Can we really do this?"
"Of course, unless we defeat the Angels we have no future." replied the Commander,
"Ikari, are you absolutely certain?" questioned Sub- Commander Fuyutsuki. Behind his hands Gendo smiled evilly.
"Eva launch!" yelled Misato.
Suddenly the Eva and the platform it was on flew upwards out of the geofront. Shinji didn't show any signs of the G-force pressing down on him however his clothes did. On the city streets, warning lights flared. A square panel in the road slid away just as Unit-01 came through. It stood supported by two beams attached to its shoulders, the city looked different from this prospective, but Shinji didn't notice he just stared at the Angel.
{Are you ready Shinji?} asked Misato over the comlink.
{It's now or never.} replied Shinji.
{Final safety locks release!} shouted Misato, {Evangelion Unit-01, move out!}
Both clamps on the shoulders released, the Eva slumped over no longer supported by the two beams.
{Shinji, just concentrate on walking for now.} said Ritsuko.
{Have you ever heard the saying 'You should learn to walk before you run' well I've got a new one 'You should learn to crawl before you walk and forget about running.' so I'm gonna do this my way.} replied Shinji.
The Eva brought both its arms up in front of it, it started clenching and unclenching its hands a couple of times. Then the Eva grabbed parts of its armor and began to rip it off.
{WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!?} yelled Ritsuko
After the Eva had finished ripping the armor off and had pulled out the umbilical cord. Shinji opened a vidlink to the command center, {Hey Ritsuko, what's my sync ratio?}
Ritsuko looked at Maya waiting for a reply, when she got none she walked over to Maya's control panel, {That's not possible!} she looked at the vidscreen, {I-It's at 100%.} replied Ritsuko.
Shinji smirked and said, {This is why I ripped off the armor.}
Shinji hair started to stick up and turn green; his clothes tore as his muscles became more toned. Both his arms up to his shoulders became rugged like talons, on both his forearms a spike pierced the skin. His feet up to the top of his shins also became like talons, his chest and stomach became rugged like the skin on his arms and lower legs. His nose and mouth began to stretch and join together to form a beak, finally the rest of his body is covered with green feathers. On the outside the Eva looked exactly the same as Shinji. (AN: Right because I'm crap at descriptions I've drawn what Shinji's Demon form looks like here's the link: )
{Hey father, what do you think?} asked Shinji, {This is Garuda, my Demon form.}
Everyone in the command center stared at the screen showing Unit-01 or Garuda as Shinji called it. One thought ran through Misato's mind, 'Hmm…an Angel is attacking us, and a Demon is protecting us. I guess that makes sense.'
Garuda looked down at his left hand, in the middle of his palm a small orb of light appeared and began to grow. When it was the size of his hand he threw it at Sachiel. It impacted Sachiel's A.T. field and exploded in a blinding light. Sachiel screamed out in pain and covered its eyes.
Shinji took this opportunity as his chance to finish Sachiel off quickly, Garuda expanded his own A.T. field which neutralized Sachiel's. He then extended the spike on his right forearm and ran at Sachiel who was still blinded by Shinji's attack. Garuda pulled his right arm back and rammed it through Sachiel's core. Sachiel thrashed his arms about hitting and punching Garuda. Finally his core began to grow dim until it stopped glowing. Garuda leaned over as the entry plug ejected from his back, Shinji casually climbed out the entry plug and made his way to Sachiel's core, he leaned closer and examined one of the spider cracks before punching through it, pulling some kind of crystal and swallowing it. getting back in Garuda he started walking back to the launch platform.
Shinji sent Misato a telepathic message, Misato, could you bring some pants to the Eva cages? I err… sort of tore my other ones.
Once Garuda was in the Eva cages Shinji manually ejected the entry plug. He stepped out and transformed the top half of his body back to human but kept his lower half Demon. He looked around and saw Misato come out of the elevator, to his relief she was holding pants. Misato apprehensively approached him and handed him the pants.
Shinji looked at her and sighed, "I'm not gonna hurt you Misato, so don't worry." after saying this Shinji noticed Misato relaxed a bit.
Shinji put the pants on being careful not to tear them with his talons, when he was finished he became fully human. Shinji started walking to the elevator when Misato grabbed his shoulder, "Shinji, you've got to go see the real estate agent." Shinji sighed and followed her
Misato led Shinji into a large room, in the middle of the room a man was stood waiting, "Hello, you must be Shinji Ikari?" said the real estate agent,
"Unfortunately, so where will I be living?" asked Shinji.
"Your apartment will be in the sixth block from this one." said the estate agent, "Is that alright?"
"Yes that'll be fine." replied Shinji.
A few minutes later in a corridor Misato was talking on a phone, "WHAT DID YOU SAY???" yelled Ritsuko.
"You heard me, I said I'll be taking Shinji home with me, to live in my place ok. It's already been approved and don't worry I'm not gonna be making any passes at him."
"OF COURSE YOU'RE NOT! HOW COULD YOU EVEN THINK OF IT. YOU'VE GOT NO SHAME AT ALL..." yelled Ritsuko.
Misato holding the phone away from her ear commented, "Some people don't have any sense of humor."
After leaving Nerv H.Q. they stopped at a convenience store after that they were on their way to Misato's apartment, "well, I guess we have to have a party tonight huh?"
"No! no party." yelled Shinji. Misato looked at Shinji and saw something she hadn't seen in Shinji at all she saw fear,
"Why not?" asked Misato.
Shinji looked at her, "It was because of a party I became half Demon."
Misato was confused, "How's that possible?"
Shinji sighed, "When you get drunk at parties you lose all sense of reason. It's because of reason Demons can't take control of us, Animals don't have a sense of reason and are easily taken over because they follow their instincts where as we don't."
Deciding to change the subject Misato turned to Shinji, "I hope you don't mind if we make a little stop on the way?"
"A stop where?" asked Shinji,
"Oh, it's a really cool place." replied Misato.
Misato pulled over and parked her car at a mountain lookout, "It's so... decimate." said Shinji.
Misato who was looking at her watch looked up, "Here we go."
Sirens pierced the air as panels all over the city opened and buildings began to rise up,
"So, what do you think Shinji?" asked Misato,
"Not bad, I've seen better." replied Shinji.
Misato got angry, "What's better than this?"
Shinji smiled and replied, "The earth before buildings were made."
Misato had to admit that, that would be better than seeing buildings rise from the ground. Although she was curious how he could have seen it since he's only fourteen.
Shinji walked over to Misato picking her up in his arms, Misato instinctively rapped her arms around his neck. She tried to protest but it went ignored. Green feathered wings shot out of his back tearing the T-shirt he was wearing, as Shinji walked over to the barrier stepping over it and then stepped off the cliff behind it.
They began to fall when Shinji spread his wings and began to catch the thermals sending him and Misato higher and higher. He soared a few miles past the buildings he had seen rise and began to descend to the area he had seen the N2 mine dropped on the Angel. He could easily recognize it by the fact the crater it had created was now a lake. He flapped his wings a couple of times to slow his descent further before his feet finally touched the ground.
Misato climbed out of Shinji's arms and looked around she was a bit confused because she didn't recognize where they were, "Shinji, Where are we?" he said nothing and just pointed across the lake at the sun setting on the horizon. Misato stood in awe at the sight before her, she could truly say it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen.
"That was beautiful." said Misato as the sun finished setting on the horizon, Shinji was smiling as he walked over to Misato picking her up in his arms again, "So. Are we gonna fly back?" asked Misato,
"Of course, you think I'm walking back?"
Shinji bent his legs slightly and jumped high in the air about twenty feet and spread his wings,
"Shinji, why didn't you flap your wings? Why did you jump?" asked Misato.
"What do know about Eagles, Hawks and other birds of pray?"
"Err… they hunt?"
Shinji sighed, "Birds of pray mainly glide on air currents because flapping their wings takes up to much energy"
"Yeah so?" questioned Misato,
"Think about it, I want to save energy." stated Shinji.
"Oh." Misato was going to say something more but decided against it, they soon arrived back at the car and continued the journey to the apartment.
Arriving at Misato's apartment he looked around and thought, 'Hmm, not bad, not bad at all. Quite a few high buildings, looks like a night on the town is in order.'
Misato walked through the apartment door and headed straight for her bedroom. She called out to him, "Erm... as you can see the place is just a bit messy, but go ahead and make your self at home."
Looking around Shinji was shocked it was a tip. There were beer cans, liquor bottles, instant meal boxes and garbage bags everywhere, "Err......You call this a little messy?" asked Shinji as Misato walked into the room,
"Oh sorry could you put the food in the fridge please?" asked Misato,
"Yeah sure."
Shinji walked into the Kitchen and opened the fridge, he was amazed to find it full of beer, ice and snacks. He began to wonder, 'Is it possible to live on beer and instant meals?'
He sat down at the table as Misato came in to get a beer, she was wearing a tank top and denim cut-offs Shinji had to admit that she looked HOT.
Sitting down she opened a can and guzzled it down in one she cried out a loud, "YEEE-HAAAWW!"
Deciding not to say anything he got up, "You mind if I take a shower?"
"No, go ahead." replied Misato.
Walking into the changing room he got undressed and opened the shower curtain to be greeted by a surprise.
The Kitchen door suddenly slid open revealing Shinji and a Penguin, "Misato, why was there a penguin in the bathroom?"
"Oh, he's one of those warm water penguins. His name is Pen-pen, he's also your other roommate." replied Misato, "Erm, why don't you cover up?"
Shinji looked down to see he was in his birthday suit he looked at Misato and smirked, "Why? don't like what you see?"
Misato blushed as Shinji closed the door, he heard a loud thump as something hit the door.
After his shower Shinji got dressed and walked in to the Kitchen to see Misato still sat at the table she was holding a piece of paper.
He sat down as Misato started talking, "Right, now to divide the chores."
'It's not easy to kill a Demon, but if Misato keeps cooking she could succeed.' thought Shinji, "Ok, How bout this, I cook and clean the house, while you take out the garbage?"
Misato tried to figure out what he was up to but gave up and agreed. Shinji stood up and walked over to the front door, "I'm going out for a while, don't wait up." said Shinji as he left the apartment.
Shinji ran through the streets for a while until he was sure there was nobody around. He decided to have some fun, he jumped onto a telephone pole then on to one of many rooftops in Tokyo-3. He ran along the rooftops jumping from building to building, he jumped towards one building and thrust his fingers into the side of it. He hung there looking at the city before pushing off and landing on the concrete below, he decided to make his way to Misato's apartment in case she got worried.
When he arrived he noticed the lights were still on, he quietly opened and closed the front door. Walking into the Kitchen he saw Misato asleep, nipping out he came back with a blanket rapping it around her then quietly made his way to bed.
Well what did you think? I know it's not great but hopefully I will make it great.
The next chapter is the battle with the 4th Angel Shamshel and I'll be explaining how Shinji became half Demon
