The Great Hall
'Dinner was fine except I don't know how Malfoy found out about what happened on the train. Bloody prick.' Harry thought to himself.
When he heard a rumbling noise he asked Hermione, "What's that noise?"
Suddenly a portal opened and out walked a girl who couldn't be more than two years older than he was.
"Damn, I hate portals," the girl said to herself.
"Umm...Excuse me Ms....."
"Oh...Watson. Rachel Watson."
"Ms. Watson, what exactly are you doing here, and how did you get here?" Dumbledor asked the strange girl.
"I'm here to get away from my life, and I came through an inter-dimensional portal. I hope you don't mind," she said innocently.
"You are a witch?" Dumbledor asked.
"Yes, but not from this world. Where I come from, this place is in books telling about Harry Potter's adventures here. Very good writing by the way," Rachel added. "So far I've been in the TV shows 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer,' 'Angel,' 'Charmed,' and the movies and books of Lord of the Rings and now, Harry Potter. Dimension jumping is very fun, except for the actual portal."
"Excuse me, I just noticed that you don't have a wand," Dumbledor stated.
"Oh ya. Well, I'm a wandless witch. I collect powers, but not by killing the one with the power like warlocks do. If I see a power being used, I can copy it."
The teachers looked shocked. All of them thinking that this girl could possibly be more powerful than Voldemort.
"I am," Rachel told them. At their even more shocked looks she added, "I read minds."
"Will you mind coming to my office Ms. Watson?" Dumbledor asked.
"It's just Rachel, and I'll meet you there."
With that she orbed out of the Great Hall, leaving everyone shocked.
