What's there to do when you feel like you're falling apart. Weeks after she left Las Vegas, Jocelyn Gregory couldn't get her mind off the one guy who actually drove her crazy. Jocelyn was 22 years old, lived in Chicago, had brown hair and green eyes and she was in love, in love with Danny McCoy.
" Why do I even care?" Jocelyn asked herself, " He bugged me to death."
Jocelyn paced around her apartment when she heard the doorbell.
" Who could that be?" Jocelyn thought. Jocelyn looked out only to see something she didn't expect, Danny McCoy.
" What in the world?" Jocelyn said, " What are you doing here?"
" Hey Jocelyn," Danny said, " May I come in?"
" How did you find me?" Jocelyn asked.
" You're father," Danny said, " Now may I come in?"
" No!" Jocelyn exclaimed, " You can get lost."
" Hey," Danny said, " I came here to see you."
" What for?" Jocelyn asked crossing her arms and batting her green eyes at him.
Danny just looked at her those green eyes drew him in the first time he met her.
" Jocelyn," Danny said, " You don't know how much I think about you."
" Yeah right," Jocelyn said," Girls are chasing you all over Vegas."
" I'm here," Danny said, " I'm in Chicago to see you."
" Go back to Vegas and leave me alone," Jocelyn said closing the door.
" She's still impossible," Danny reminded himself, " Why help someone who doesn't want it."
Danny just left the building soon after that. From her window, Jocelyn saw Danny leave and felt empty.
" That kiss Danny McCoy will haunt me forever," Jocelyn told herself.
A few hours later, Jocelyn walked the streets of Chicago and stopped at the front of the Westin Hotel.
" I wonder if Danny is staying here?" Jocelyn thought.
Jocelyn went in only to run directly into Danny.
" Hey," Danny said, " Watch where you're going."
" Sorry," Jocelyn said.
" Jocelyn," Danny said, " Were you looking for me?"
" Sort of," Jocelyn answered.
" Why?" Danny asked, " What you said at your apartment got through to me."
" What did I say?" Jocelyn asked.
" Reading in between the lines?" Danny questioned, " You told me to take a leap into Lake Michigan."
" Danny," Jocelyn said, " I never expected to see you here, not in a million years."
Danny put on one of his winning smiles, a smile that made Jocelyn weak in the knees.
" Now that's the smile I remember," Danny said.
" Why did you come here?" Jocelyn asked.
" To see you," Danny answered.
" Why?" Jocelyn asked.
Danny got a little frustrated with her constant questioning.
" Jocelyn," Danny said, " I enjoyed showing you around Vegas and I didn't forget that kiss, in fact it haunts me. You don't want to know what I dream about."
" And I don't want to know," Jocelyn said heading towards the door.
" Wait," Danny said stopping her, " Maybe you can show me around Chicago."
" I don't know," Jocelyn said.
" Please," Danny said, " I've done research, I would love to see the view from the Sears Tower and compare it the Montecieto."
" That view is also great," Jocelyn said laughing.
Danny again just smiled, a smile that again melted her heart.
