A boy shifted slightly in his bed, putting his back to the open window as a shadowed figure climbed in. The figure slowly walked across the room the bed, the boy shifting to lie on his back again. The figure gently adjusted the boy's head so his neck was vurnerable. Leaning down the figure swiftly bit the boy's neck, the boy lay undisturbed and unaware. Then the figure left just as silently as it had arrived.

MegaMan looked up, his sleep mode just ending, and got ready to wake his NetOp. He looked over at the bed, his eyes widening at what he saw. The bed was empty, Lan was gone. "Lan?" MegaMan yellled hoping Lan had just woken up early.
"MegaMan, Lan's gone." Mrs. Hikari said walking in. "The poilice are looking for him now, we can't find him."
That afternoon all of Lan's friends came over to help all they could. Roll, Glide, GutsMan, and IceMan were searching the net for information. Maylu, Yai, Dex, and Tory were out serching the streets. "Don't worry Mega, we'll find him." Roll said when MegaMan joined them. The blue bomber nodded determindly, the group split up to cover more ground after that. The serch lasted for days, but no one found him. The poilice gave up, Lan's friends gave up.
"He must be dead, that's why he won't come back." Maylu finnaly admeted, only MegaMan refused to give up. He searched alone for a year, but finnaly he had to admit defeat. Lan was gone.
