Aiming to Beat Each Other Heroically
As the rest of the students were going to the monitoring room as instructed by All Might, Arashi turns around seeing Izuku and Katsuki glaring at each other a bit.
"Hmm, everything okay, Mikami?" Toru asked.
"Just wondering how the battle between those two will go. After all, they have known each other for quite a long time." Arashi answered.
"Oh, really? Must it's gonna be one of those big rivalry things." Toru guessed.
"Perhaps you're right. We can only find out for sure." Arashi said before he and Toru walk again catching up with their classmates.
"Bad guys, you can go on in and get set up. In five minutes, the good guys will be let loose, and the battle will start!" All Might informed.
Izuku and Tsuyu are standing a little far as they talk to each other a little about their days as a way to calm their minds down of their intense hero training, they're about to engage as Katsuki and Tenya were about to enter the building.
"Young Iida, Young Bakugo." All Might said getting them to stop for a moment.
"The key to being successful in this challenge is to embody villainy. Think from the perspective of an evildoer." All Might advised hoping this lesson would also help them when they become heroes.
"Got it." Tenya nodded while Katsuki just looks at Deku checking on his gloves with a glare.
"If things go too far, I'll step in." All Might said.
"Understood." Tenya said before he and Katsuki enter the building then finding the fake weapon on the fifth floor.
"Even though this is training, it pains me to be aligned with criminals' behavior." Tenya admitted as he walks up to the fake weapon.
"So, this is the weapon we must protect." Tenya knocked on the fake weapon feeling it's metal bit very weak. "Fake, of course."
"Hey." Katsuki said getting Tenya's attention.
"Do you think Deku's Quirk is really all that powerful?" Katsuki asked, uncharacteristically wanting to hear an opinion from his extra classmates.
"Well, you saw the way Midoriya threw that ball, and he is also a rare late bloomer. Makes you wonder how powerful he would be with his Quirk if he got it as a four-year-old." Tenya said curious.
"(Damn it, I can't stop thinking about yesterday… Seeing him and that flashy Quirk of his. Thinking he's better than me.)" Katsuki thought clutched his fists.
"(I'm going to roast that damn nerd!)" Katsuki thought promised with an angry determination.
"(Something tells me I should really be careful being around this guy.)" Tenya thought told himself.
(With Tsuyu and Izuku)
"Ribbit. Memorizing the floor plan can be a bit difficult if you aren't focus enough, but I think we can get this down." Tsuyu believed.
"It's also nice that having All Might as our teacher, better with the positive mood than Mr. Aizawa though Miss. Sakurada being does help a little." Tsuyu complimented until she saw Izuku being so nervous.
"You're sweating through your costume, are you worried about fighting Bakugo?" Tsuyu asked.
"Umm, maybe… I mean this is the first time I'm actually going to fight him." Izuku said.
"Ribbit. Right, because of how you were Quirkless. Bet he did some bullying to you throughout the years despite knowing that your mom and big sister are Pro Heroes." Tsuyu guessed.
"Yeah, he knows full well of how he would end up if he tries to hurt me again, but that doesn't stop him from badmouthing me from time to time." Izuku said.
"But you don't hate him entirely, do you?" Tsuyu asked.
"Oh, well… yeah, Kacchan is a guy some would look up to because of his big goal. And he's amazing." Izuku admitted, remembering what Kacchan said back on their first day in their last year of middle school.
"I'll end up more popular than All Might himself and be the richest hero of all times!"
"It must be quite the pain having to deal with him." Tsuyu said.
"Yeah, he really is. But his strength and confidence, and his ambition, not to mention his Quirk. They're all so much greater than mine." Izuku said before standing up.
"But that just means I have to do better. I refuse to lose today." Izuku determined as he put his mask on with his eyes looking stronger than ever.
Tsuyu stares at Izuku for moment feeling her body just tense up a bit after hearing those words and seeing that determination in his eyes, like her spirit just felt bigger than her body and her cheeks are blushing a bit.
"Ribbit, ribbit. A fated battle between rivals, not every day I get to see those." Tsuyu commented.
"Oh, not that I'm trying to get you wrapped up in my fight or anything!" Izuku stuttered.
"Too late for that since we're a team." Tsuyu pointed out and took his hand causing the green hair boy to blush again.
"Let's do our best and win this! Ribbit!" Tsuyu smiled.
Izuku smiles back feeling lucky to have gotten himself some good friends like Tsuyu being one of them and glad to have her right now, seeing how amazing Tsuyu looks makes him want to have sex with her like he does with his mom and sister.
"(Wait, why did I think of Tsuyu like that just now?)" Izuku thought gasped blushing hard.
Then they heard the loud siren going off.
"All right! Let's begin the indoor combat training! Team A and Team D, your time starts now!" All Might announced.
(Monitoring Room)
"Pay attention, kids. Think about what you would do." All Might advised as he and the students watch the fight on the screens.
"(Young Midoriya. In this class, you're just another student. I'll grade you as I would anyone else without playing favorites.)" All Might thought reminded himself.
"This is gonna be so epic!" Oriha excited.
(With Izuku and Tsuyu)
Izuku and Tsuyu enter the window open on the second floor, being quiet as they can.
"So far, so good." Tsuyu said softly.
"Careful, there are a lot of blind spots." Izuku said as they careful sneak through the hallway of the second floor trying to locate the bomb and the villain team.
Tsuyu is crawling up on the wall above a door as she uses her tongue to open it and quickly retreat her tongue back in, she and Izuku waited for a moment until they look inside seeing it's an empty room and continue searching.
"(Right now, I can only fight with One for All at 5% which grants me power slight above a normal human capability. That's good since I don't want to run the risk of using full power or else, I'll hurt myself or end up killing someone.)" Izuku thought feared the worse outcome.
"(We got to win this with my limited power and Tsuyu's Frog Quirk. I also got to use my head as well.)" Izuku thought hoped it'll be enough.
"(I took a lot of notes on indoor battles and fighting in tight spaces from some videos and from mom and Say on how they fought in those battles.)" Izuku thought remember.
Izuku and Tsuyu keep sneaking around seeing that the bomb might not be on this floor, they decided to up to the third floor hoping to find something there.
But when they started looking around on the third floor.
Izuku gasp upon seeing Katsuki jumping out from a corner and threw a big exploding punch though the green hero boy managed to get out of the way with Tsuyu in his arms.
"Tsu, are you okay?" Izuku asked.
"Yeah, never better thanks to you, but it looks like your mask got a little burn." Tsuyu noticed the left side of his mark has a burn mark.
"Just what you expect from Kacchan's explosions." Izuku commented.
The hero team look at the smoke being clear away by Katsuki with his arm.
"What's the matter, Deku? Afraid to stand up and fight me?" Katsuki asked.
"Ribbit, ribbit…" Tsuyu felt a bit scared until she saw Izuku slowly standing up.
"I knew you'd come at me first. And figured you'd try to catch me by surprise." Izuku stated knowing his old childhood friend's moves.
(Monitoring Room)
"He almost got the jump on them." Minoru surprised as the others are.
"Sneak attack, Bakugo? What kinda man pulls cheap crap like that?" Eijiro disapproved of this.
"It may not be to your liking, but that just how villains are, and Bakugo is playing the role." Mikoto pointed out.
"Indeed, a viable strategy as a true villain would." All Night nodded.
"It didn't work. Midoriya dodged him!" Mina impressed smiling.
"Yeah, it was like he was moving like lightning! And almost nimble like you, Mina!" Oriha squealed.
"Look, there he goes!" Denki said as Katsuki is about to charge at them again.
(Building, Third Floor)
"So, you ready to fight me?" Izuku asked, powering up his Full Cowling.
"What kind of a shitty question is that?" Katsuki shouted back and rungs toward Deku.
"I won't have to hurt you so bad they'll have to stop the fight. Just close!" Katsuki smirked reeling his left arm.
However, Izuku blitzes forward grabbing Katsuki's left arm and threw a punch in the stomach causing the exploding boy to gasp like the air has just been knocked out of him.
"Wow, that was cool!" Tsuyu amazed.
"(Damn it, how'd he know? Did his mom and sister really train him to be this good?)" Katsuki thought shocked.
Izuku turns around perform a strong shoulder throw to slam his childhood friend/rival onto the floor making him gasp in pain on his backside too.
"Kacchan." Izuku panted looking down at the ash blonde boy.
"You always use a big right hook to start a fight. I know because I've watched you for years." Izuku said as Katsuki slowly gets back up.
"I analyzed every amazing hero, even you. I wanted to learn everything I could about them. It was all in the notebook you burned and threw away." Izuku mentioned.
Katsuki growls not liking where this is going from the damn nerd, but he couldn't ignore the fact of how strong he has gotten from those two attacks he just felt.
"You can call me Deku, but I'm not the same helpless, defenseless kid anymore!" Izuku said strongly.
"You hear me? I've changed. From now on, Deku is the name of a hero!" Izuku declared.
Tsuyu is shocked to hear that Izuku has already decided on his own hero name and it's the very one Bakugo would always call him for insults, she also recalled how Ochaco compliment on how Deku sounds like a cool hero name and think it's cute.
"(I guess Ochaco was right about that name.)" Tsuyu thought surprised.
Katsuki gets back up on his feet with an intense glare at Izuku.
"Deku…" Katsuki felt his muscles tenses a little and started to remember how this idiot would always try to stand up against him whenever he feels like picking on a weak idiot.
(Flashback)
"If you keep on hurting him, then I'll stop you myself!" Little Izuku promised as he stands to defend a kid behind him despite his body shaking in fear.
(Flashback End)
And now in the present, Deku's body is still shaking in fear though only just slightly that could be unnoticeable to anyone except for Katsuki. This shows how strong this damn nerd has become since that day with the Sludge villain.
"Still shaking in your boots, but not as scared as before. You intent to fight me head on despite that fear." Katsuki said and little explosions erupted in his hands.
"THAT'S WHY I HATE YOU?!" Katsuki shouted in rage.
"Whoa, things are about to get crazy!" Tsuyu surprised.
Seeing Katsuki like this in a fit of rage somehow reminds him of that hard truth that not all men are born equal, he learned that the hard way that some are born with more power. But that won't stop Izuku from fighting Katsuki in this hero training and to give show him how far he has come thanks to the support from his family and All Might.
"Bakugo, come in! Give me a statue report. Where are you?" Tenya asked through the com-earpiece on Katsuki's ear.
"Just shut up and defend the weapon. I've got more important things to worry about." Katsuki responded angry.
(With Tenya)
"Are you forgetting what our mission is?" Tenya asked, but no heard respond.
"Hello? He hung up on me!" Tenya shocked of his partner's rudeness.
"This isn't the time for radio silence. We're supposed to be partners. Argh!" Tenya yelled upset that Katsuki isn't working together with him.
(Monitoring Room)
"Hey, who's Bakugo talking to? I'm not hearing anything. Can we get any sound with this video?" Eijiro asked. And that's when All Might spoke up.
"He's got a radio in his ear so he can talk to his partner. I have it to him before the match started along with the map of the building." All Might explained tapping on his own earpiece.
"Also this, a roll of capture tape! Wrapping this around your opponent means you've apprehended them, and they're out for the rest of the game." All Might added showing the capture tape.
"So, there's a 15-minute time limit, and the good guys have no idea what floor the nuclear weapon is hidden, right?" Mina asked.
"Correct!" All Might nodded.
"What? But wouldn't that mean the heroes are fighting in an unfair battle?" Oriha asked shock.
"Real Pros have to outfit villains on a daily basis. That's life. Even when the odds aren't in our favor, we fight!" All Might stated as the students felt they understood that now.
"All together!" All Might excited.
"Let's hear a Plus Ultra!" Everyone cheered the school motto.
"Monsieur, he's on the move." Yuga informed as everyone watch the screens again.
(Deku vs Katsuki)
Katsuki ready himself to launch himself forward at Deku.
"Tsu, get going now!" Izuku shouted.
"Okay, I'll let you know if I find the bomb and Iida!" Tsuyu nodded as she hops away from the fight to start her search.
Katsuki launched himself fast with his explosion throwing a leg which Izuku block it with his arm.
"Ballsy move trying to make on all alone!" Katsuki commented, but then he saw something wrapping around the back of his leg.
"(He's using the capture tape!)" Katsuki thought shocked.
"(Hero notebook number ten, page 18! Luckily, I got to see Eraser Head's moves in action!)" Izuku thought recalled seeing the way Aiawa use his scarf.
Izuku quickly grabs the leg to pull his opponent closer to throw a swing kick of his own sending Katsuki several feet away, but that didn't keep him down for long as he blasted himself back up and blasted towards Izuku for a downward swing attack with his right arm though Izuku jumps to a wall to avoid the full blast, and he didn't use his Quirk this time.
"(Kacchan is trying to be unpredictable since I've been seeing through his moves.)" Izuku thought figured.
Katsuki turns around for a backhanded swing attack only to meet with his elbow to smack it away then the exploding boy tries striking him with some exploding punches, but Izuku is able to dodge them and counter with a couple hits of his own.
(Monitoring Room)
"The little guy is really good!" Rikido impressed with how well Izuku is doing against Katsuki.
"He's holding his own and he's not using his Quirk at the moment." Hanta surprised.
"It's no surprise there since Izuku's mom is the Doctor Pink-Samurai and his older sister is Nurse Blue-Hitter." Ochaco revealed shocking mostly everyone.
"No way, he's related to those hotties!" Minoru and Denki gasped.
"Wowie, that he means he just be really special in the heart!" Oriha amazed.
"I also notice that Izuku seems to be analyzing and thinking fast while fighting Katsuki, quite impressive to think things under pressure." Arashi impressed.
"It's almost like he's been studying heroes all his life." Mikoto said.
"(Not surprising. He's always been pretty good at taking action in crisis situations. Plus, he's spent years taking notes on different heroes. He internalized everything he learned.)" All Might thought recalled seeing his notebook back when they first met.
"(Those lessons are in his blood now. That fanboy knowledge and the help from his hero family are paying off!)" All Might thought smiled.

The battle between Izuku and Katsuki has begun with the former showing to be holding his own against Katsuki's powerful Quirk and wild fighting style, this battle is going to be more intense for the rivals than in the anime while Tsuyu does her best to find the weapon and Tenya.
