A/N: Based on a somewhat similar Danny/Sabrina story by Starkiller93 called "The Phantom and the Witch" (be sure to check that story out, btw. Great story!), though my story takes a bit of a different turn. This version of Sabrina will be from Sabrina the Animated Series. I've seen the live action Sabrina the Teenage Witch but I felt that version wouldn't really fit here, and I only vaguely remembered Sabrina the Animated Series and it's spinoff Sabrina's Secret Life (both of which probably would fit better), as my sister used to watch the Animated Series, and I decided to rewatch both shows. I thought Sabrina's Secret Life was garbage, due to almost all of the characters being flanderized to the point of being unlikeable or being gone and/or replaced without explanation, and all the voice actors being replaced and the new voice actors not really fitting the characters imo, hence why I've gone with the animated series. However, a couple differences will be that Sabrina has been aged to 14 (Danny's age) instead of 12, but the story will follow South Park logic (how ironic) in that despite the characters being a little older, they'll still look and sound the same, and technology will be updated since STAS aired in 1999. Also, Sabrina's Uncle Quigley and Sam of Danny Phantom will not be in this story (aside from one brief cameo from Sam), as I personally found them both to be annoying. Sabrina's Aunt Zelda will be head of the household instead of Quigley due to being 18 in the story (she's actually much older but has been trapped in the body of a teenager, much like Sabrina's Aunt Hilda). Sam has moved away but is still friends with Danny and Tucker. Lastly, I made Danny and Stan Marsh of South Park cousins due to them looking and acting a little bit alike, and I wanted to add South Park to the mix because I love South Park, it's one of my favorite shows. In this story, the Tegridy Farms timeline never happened, and Randy (Stan's dad) is still a Geologist. This story will primarily be a Danny Phantom/STAS crossover, South Park comes in later. Danny Phantom/SATS/South Park, quite a crazy mix but hopefully it'll be enjoyable and I can make it work. :)
Disclaimer: I do not own Sabrina the Animated Series, Danny Phantom or South Park.
It was a Saturday morning and fourteen year old Danny Fenton woke up from the bright sunlight shining in his face from his bedroom window. He went to close the shade when he noticed a moving truck outside the house across the street. He saw two possibly college aged women moving boxes into the house from the truck. One woman was pretty and had long strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes and glasses. She had on a red sleeveless shirt with a yellow star on it, blue bell bottom jeans and gold stud earrings. She had a skinny build. The other woman was also pretty, with olive skin, dark hair that was cut just above her shoulders and bright purple eyes. She had on a dark purple sleeveless gown and a crescent moon necklace. She also had a skinny build. "Looks like we've got new neighbors. They're probably snobs like our last ones." Danny sighed. He then saw a girl who appeared to be around his age come out of the house. Danny was rendered speechless at the sight of her. She had to have been the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen. She had long blonde hair and blue eyes. She had on a white cutoff shirt with a singular thick pink stripe, a pink skirt, a hairclip, a crescent moon earring on her left ear and a star earring on her right ear. Like the two women, she had a skinny build. "Or maybe not. Why not at least give them a chance?" He decided. And with that, he got a shower, got dressed brushed his teeth, put on deodorant and rushed outside. He figured he'd offer to help them move in in hopes that he could talk to this girl and see what she was like. Hopefully she wasn't stuck up.
He walked over to the truck where the two women walked back into to grab boxes from. "Excuse me, I actually live across the street and I noticed you guys moving in. Do you need a hand?" . "How nice of you to offer. We'd love a hand moving in!" the strawberry blonde haired woman said. "Great! I'm Danny. Danny Fenton." he said, extending a hand for her to shake. "Zelda Spellman. And this is my sister, Hilda." Zelda, the strawberry blonde woman, shook his hand, as did Hilda, the dark haired woman. "They don't really look like sisters." Danny thought to himself. He picked up a box. Right then, the blonde girl walked out. "Hey Sabrina, is Salem taken care of?" Zelda asked. "Sure is, Aunt Zelda. He ate his breakfast and is taking a nap." she said. "Sabrina... that's such a pretty name." Danny thought to himself. "Who's this?" Sabrina asked as she noticed Danny standing with his two aunts. "Sabrina, this is Danny Fenton. He lives across the street and was nice enough to offer to help us move." Hilda explained. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Danny. Thank you for helping us with the move! I'd shake your hand but you're carrying a box." Sabrina said, laughing a bit. Danny laughed, too. "The pleasure's all mine. And it's no problem. I know how moving can be." he said. She grabbed a box and followed him into the house. "So Danny, how old are you?" she asked. "Fourteen." He replied. "Really? Me too!" she smiled. "Cool." he smiled back, blushing a bit. "Do you have any brothers or sisters?" he asked. "Nope, I'm an only child. You?" she asked. "I have one sister, Jazz. She's sixteen. She's in college though, she graduated a year and a half early." he said. "Cool! What's with the Fenton Works sign at your house, if you don't mind my asking?" She asked. Danny sighed. He decided to tell the truth in hopes that this wouldn't be a deal breaker. "My parents are ghost hunters." he said. "Really? That's so cool!" Sabrina exclaimed. "It is?" Danny asked, caught off guard. "Yeah, they're like the real life Ghostbusters!" she said. The two set their boxes down with the others in the living room. All of the furniture had been moved into the house and set up. "You know, you're probably the first person to have something positive to say about that." He said, laughing a little. "Why is that?" she asked. Right then they heard an exploding sound come from Danny's basement, immediately followed with Jack (Danny's dad) yelling "I'm okay!". Danny sighed. "That's why. They're really bad at ghost hunting, especially my dad. And their ghost inventions are very hit or miss, mostly misses. It's usually a deal breaker for our other neighbors." He said. "So other neighbors have moved out just because your parents are bad at ghost hunting?" Zelda asked, she and Hilda following behind them and setting down their boxes. "Sounds like they were just snobs." Hilda added. Danny smiled upon hearing this. "Everyone has skeletons in their closet of some kind. I think you'll find we're not a very judgmental bunch of people." Zelda reassured the boy.
The four continued to talk and move boxes into the house. "Thanks. So are you guys from around here?" Danny asked. "No, we're actually from Greendale." Sabrina said. "Greendale, huh? That's quite a way's away." Danny said. "Yeah, we all wanted a change of scenery" Hilda said. "Was it hard to make such a big move?" Danny asked. "Nah, not really. We didn't really have much going for us. I only had a couple friends at my last school, things changed after my best friend started dating my arch enemy, the most stuck up, popular, spoiled girl at our school. He used to be the sweetest guy but he pretty much turned into a clone of her." Sabrina said. "Gosh, I'm sorry to hear that." Danny said, feeling bad for the girl. "It's okay. It was hard, I hoped I could get him back but it's been a year and a half, I think he's too far gone." She said. "Well at least you had your other friends." he said, trying to help her feel better. "That is true. And they are pretty great friends. I'm actually friends with them on Facebook, too, so I can keep in touch with them." she said. "That's awesome. Good friends are rare. I only have a couple friends too but I know for sure that they have my back." Danny said. "You're right! And I know for sure my friends have mine, too." Sabrina said.
As the four moved boxes into the house, Danny and Sabrina got to know one another and exchanged stories about their friends and all of the crazy times they've each respectively had with their friends. She told him stories about her two friends, Chloe and Pi, whilst leaving out anything that would blow her secret, and in turn, he told her plenty of stories about his two friends, Sam and Tucker, whilst also leaving out anything that would blow his secret. She also went into more detail about what happened with her former best friend and crush, Harvey, and how he turned on them after dating her enemy, Gem Stone. "So he even turned on Pi?" Danny asked, noting that based on her stories, Harvey and Pi were just as close as she and Harvey were, if not possibly closer. "You had to be there, Danny. I couldn't even believe this was the same Harvey I once called a best friend." Sabrina said. "Hey, if it makes you feel any better, I have a Gem in my life, too. Her name is Paulina. I can't believe I used to have a crush on her. Gah! What was I thinking?" he said in embarrassment at his former crush. "Hey now, don't beat yourself up. This is high school. We all like people we probably shouldn't sometimes." Sabrina said. Danny laughed. "Thanks, you're right. I needed to hear that. You know, I was surprised when you said you only had a couple friends. I thought for sure you'd be one of the popular kids." He said. "Pfft, I wish." she said. "Oh, being popular is overrated. Trust me." he said. "How so?" she asked. "Think about it, you're constantly worried about looking cool in front of others and not saying or doing the wrong thing. One false move and you're suddenly a pariah, just like that! Being popular is basically a full time job with no pay. How lame is that? You worry enough about saying or doing the wrong thing as it is, especially in high school. You worry way more when all eyes are on you. Besides, nine times out of ten, the popular kids are usually stuck up. I'd much rather only have a couple friends who care about me than a lot of friends who only care about how cool or uncool I am." Danny said.
Hilda and Zelda were impressed by how mature Danny was. "You know, that actually makes a lot of sense. Thanks, Danny." Sabrina said. "No problem. I got a taste of popularity, a very short lived one at that. I speak from experience, being unpopular is way better than being popular sometimes." He told her. The four of them finished moving the boxes into the house. "Thanks again for your help today, Danny. You're a fine young man." Zelda said. "No problem. Like I said, I know moving is a pain." He said. He shook her hand, Hilda's hand, and finally Sabrina's hand. Just briefly having her hand in his, even in the form of a platonic hand shake, made his heart race and made him blush like crazy. She blushed, too. "It's been a pleasure meeting you, guys. I'll get out of your hair." He said. "It was a pleasure meeting you, too, Danny. You're welcome over anytime." Hilda told him. "Thanks again for your advice. I really enjoyed talking to you." Sabrina said. Danny smiled. "I'm glad I could help. I enjoyed talking to you, too." she smiled, too. And with that, he left.
