This an Omake! I want to this in celebration of film Red. I really liked the movie is probably one of my favorites One Piece movies. One of the reasons is because I really like Uta. She was fun and tragic at the same time. Also, since Oda had a huge part on this movie there is the big question if Uta is canon or not. I believe she is canon, Oda confirmed things about Luffy´s character that were caused by Uta and also, he drew her in the manga as part of Shanks thinking about the past. Its like Shiki, the character and what he did is canon but he never actually meet the Straw Hats. Also there is the whole question if Uta is dead, I mean story wise I would say 100% she is dead, like there was no other way and she felt she deserved after everything she did which was messed up. I wish Uta would be incorporated into the canon of the manga, but hey we got an awesome movie and a pretty awesome soundtrack which I downloaded. Now lets enjoy this fun omake.
At the Straw hats apartment.
The Straw Hats were all sitting on their living room to do something that they never would imagine doing, watching a live concert on TV.
''Man I am so excited.'' Said Usopp.
''Raise the volume, we are going to have a part tonight.'' Said Franky.
Nami did that and they saw how the stadium that the concert was going to be held was like. It was full of people, and they all look as excited as the Straw Hats.
''Look at that stadium! I wish we were there.'' Said Chopper.
''And now ladies and gentleman Ado!'' Said the announcer introducing the main singer.
The crowd went bananas when the singer Ado came on stage. She was beautiful and her voice could match up to her features.
''She is so pretty!'' Said Sanji in lover mode.
''I think I heard about her before.'' Said Robin.
''You mean you didn't know who were watching?" Asked Nami.
''I mean its not like I hate music? I just don't follow this type of media.'' Said Robin.
''Music is a powerful media Robin-san. It has been passed on for generations, telling tales and other great stories that a simple book cannot replicated.'' Said Brook.
''Well of course Brook.'' Said Robin with a smile.
''Hey Brook do you think you could do a duet with this Ado chick?" Asked Franky.
'Oh I don't think so. I am still trying to get used to the music style of this world. I have over 100 years of music styles and taste before I can make a big music number.'' Said Brook all serious.
''Even music is a serious business in this world.'' Said Usopp surprised.
''Yeah, if the game involves money than we better put our best faces.'' Said Nami.
''Sounds like a true squirmer.'' Said Zoro while drinking.
In the midst of the crew talking about music and the concert Luffy was the only one quiet. This was very odd for them, mostly because upon hearing Ado singing Luffy felt somehow in a weird sensation, almost like he knew this person.
''Hey Luffy are you not liking the concert?" Asked Nami.
''oh no…I was just thinking.'' Said Luffy.
The whole crew looked at him a bit confused, Luffy doesn't usually sit around and just thinks?
''Uh…ok.'' Said Nami confused. Even putting her hand on his head to check for fever.
''I am going to get more booze if we are going to watch this stuff.'' Said Zoro going to the kitchen.
''Oh really? Then grab me some diet sodas.'' Said Nami.
''You get up and pick your own.'' Said Zoro.
''Do you want another black eye!'' Said Nami pissed.
''Zoro do what she says!'' Said Chopper and Usopp nervous.
''Fine!'' Said Zoro annoyed.
While going to the kitchen Zoro noticed Luffy with an odd look on his face. Almost like he was smiling at the singer on the TV for some reason.
''What's wrong with you?'' Asked Zoro.
''Sorry is that her voice reminds me of something.'' Said Luffy.
''What?' Asked Zoro confused.
The Straw Hat boy remember his days on his little village with the girl that was his first friend.
''Someone I know.'' Said Luffy with a smile.
On the One Piece world.
At the island of Elegia.
Uta was done making her last song for her upcoming concert. This would be the biggest concert that the Four Blues, Paradise and the New World have ever witness. She put her blood, sweat and tears into making this concert a reality.
''This is it! Finally, after months of planning its finally going to happen! My first ever live concert will be a success!" Said her all excited.
The girl was beyond excited. This would be a concert that the entire world would never forget.
''Will you will be there…Luffy?" Asked her wondering if her childhood friend will be there.
This was fun to do. Again I dodnt know how Oda will handle Uta in the future. I guess for the style of the story she is dead and there isn't anything that we can do. I mean she almost killed a lot of people if it wasn't for Shanks showing up. I hope she doesn't fade away; she was really fun and I am going to user her in my Straw Hat DxD story.
