Remnant Story

New fanfic crossover with the RWBY and the Colonial Marines but this is only about the Remnant History.

A Story So Far

Remnant, a planet in a far distances away from Earth and the Solar System. Remnant is inhabitant by Humans and the Faunus, the Faunus are Humanoids with Animal features while the Humans remain the same like the ones on Earth and it's Colonies. The ruling Nations or Kingdoms of Remnant is Vale, Atlas, Mistral, Vacuo and that will also include Menagerie which would only count as a continent rather than a Kingdom and that area is a haven to the many Faunus.

In the old days each Kingdom has war with each other much like on Earth until it all ends then peace can settle in all of the Kingdoms. Years later as Wars come to an end and technology are invented a new enemy would arise to Remnant and become the most greatest threat of all, they are the Creatures of Grimm and their Queen name Salem.

Salem herself was once just a normal Human before her downfall into becoming the Queen of the Grimm. In the past she was rescue from her prison tower by a man name Ozma whom she eventually falls in love with afterwords, their happiness together was short lived because Ozma dies from a illness, Salem unable to cope with his death, she goes to the God of Light and ask him to revive Ozma but the God of Light refuses due to his belief on the balance between life and death and then she goes to the God of Darkness and he does so until the God of Light intervenes and they make a mutual agreement in the end. The final part is they curse Salem with Immortality hoping she can understand the point between life and death.

The cursed Salem later convince all of the kingdoms to attack the Gods of Light and Darkness only for it to end in a extinction way and the 2 Gods left Remnant but also damages the Moon after colliding with it. Years later Ozma was revived then with his wife Salem had children as Remnant replenish itself but in time Ozma would come to realize what has happened while he was dead and with that their family ended up getting destroyed as Salem now gone insane begins a secret war with Humanity and Faunus alike.

What the Brothers of Light and Darkness did to Salem did not bring peace, cursing her with immortality only brought War on Remnant.

Ozma now revive as Ozpin was contacted by the God Brothers Light and Darkness saying that Salem cannot be killed due to her Immortality but fight on anyway, just because someone is immortal doesn't mean they cannot be destroyed, even immortals have weaknesses. Ozpin then creates the Huntsmen and Huntress in order fight against Salem and her Grimm, however there are also evil Huntsmen and Huntress who would even side with Salem, even the radical White Fang Faunus too, but the White Fang only side with Salem assuming this can help them achieve their goals.

The White Fang were originally just a protesting Faunus who are trying to prevent anymore mistreatment on Faunus which was caused by Humans. But when original White Fang Leader step down and a new Leader comes in, the new White Fang turns to violence instead of peaceful protesting.

As the secret war with Salem drags on there also betrayals among Ozpin's allies such as General James Ironwood from Atlas after succumbing to his paranoia ever since the fall of Vale including Beacon Academy which was caused by Salem's Minions, Grimm and the White Fang which cause him to make evil decisions such as leaving others for dead which in turn made him an enemy to Ozpin and the rest his allies but in the end James met his demise as Atlas and Mantle met their destruction when Salem gets her hands on the relics she is after.

Even the revelations that Ozpin kept from his friends and allies caused a lot of negative views on him, even most of it created casualties. Reasons for secrets is because they wish to avoid making a panic out of all the people if he choose to blurt that out in the first place.

Decades later after all that has come to pass, like all wars, the war with Salem, her minions and the Grimm would soon come to an end as Heroes break through her immortality and expose her weakness. Then peace can finally return as surviving Heroes of Remnant rebuilds all of the Kingdoms.

As for the White Fang, it's reformed into a peacekeeping for now with Humanity.

A Millennia Later

Remnant's inhabitants suddenly and mysteriously disappeared without a trace leaving the planet without any inhabitants all except for normal animals. Even the Magic of the Maidens and Relics also disappeared without a trace. Lastly, all of the Kingdoms that's been rebuild after the end of the War with Salem are now just in ruins once again.

Or maybe something happened in Remnant which in turn caused everybody to disappear and going into hiding in the end. Where they are is probably deep underground and also in cryo stasis for sure and they may have taken the Relics and the Maiden's Magic with them for sure too.

Now Remnant is discovered by Earth and is going to be recolonized and the ones who will be doing it is the United States Colonial Marines. To the people of Earth, Remnant is identified as LV-696.

Next Chapter, we meet the Colonial Marine Female Protagonist who is an OC who begins her drop to the Recolonizing Remnant/LV-696.

Many Colonial Marine Characters I'm using are from Aliens Colonial Marines, Aliens Infestation, AVP 2010 and Aliens Fireteam Elite but only those I like. Those who died in any of it are still alive because the entire Fanfic is an Alternate Universe.

I'm also using my Characters as well since I like it that way.

I might use the Xenomorphs too for sure, but I'm not using the Yautja/Predators since I want to be focus in the Alien Universe.
