For years people have claimed to see a ghostly white horse that had run across the desert. That became a mere legend lost to time. Some have said that he could have taught other horses a thing or two with his cunning and speed. None had known what had happened to the horse but some say that when he disappeared his soul became one of the most mythical creatures that had ever existed. Well, allow me to tell you part of the story of my life.

It all started on the day of my birth. I was born to a mare known as Eternal Glory after she was bought by a guy named Bayek as a gift for his wife Aya. My father was a mostly white horse with a black face mask named Thunder. The place where my birth took place was out in the desert just on the outside of Siwa in amongst a herd of other horses and camels owned by this master I had yet to meet. However soon I would be able to meet him soon when an eagle flew over ahead before he sped off while calling out. No sooner was I on my feet than was when I heard a high pitched sound in my ears that caused me to lose my balance in fright. My mother was reassuring me with a gentle nicker as some of the herd had moved towards the sound led by a stallion mother called hopeless. The stallion out in front I would later know him as Stranger, who was one of my master's chariot horses.

Once I was calmed down my mother led me towards my master. Her gentle voice told me that Bayek was our human master. My brown eyes widen slightly at the sight of him despite being cloaked on my first encounter with him. He had smiled at me however his hazel brown eyes held sadness in them. It would not be until I was a fiesty 3 year old that I would understand why his eyes held since sadness. For now my young life revolved around my mother and the lessons she would be teaching me. After our masters visited the stallion from before led us back towards a good grazing spot. It was then that I found out I was not the only foal that was born in the herd. A pure black filly was born a few days earlier to a mare named Annapolis. Camel calves were also in the herd. But the mothers and calves were stolen by bandits during a sandstorm.

Weeks had passed before I had finally met my father. Our master Bayek had come to the herd to switch out for a camel so he could work with him as well as to try and get the missing camels that were stolen from him. I had never met the camel so I did not wonder why he was picked. If anything I found it hard to understand why he was not using my father to track down the missing two mothers with their calves. When my mother saw my father she whinnied a greeting as she trotted over to him. As I looked on, my mother called out to me to meet my father. Slowly I walked over while I was clacking my teeth at my father telling him that I was just a baby and to please not hurt me. My father nickered at me as our noses touched in a gentle greeting. When my eyes locked with my father I wanted to be just like him. As the days went by with my father and mother by my side I was learning how to run across the dunes of the deserts, as well as navigating the hogbacks and the hoodoos. On days that was nice the whole herd would race across the dunes. On those days the black filly and I would run side by side during those times. During those days I never truly knew fear. But that was one time in my foal hood that I had to learn to respect the predators that live beyond the dunes of Siwa. Me and the black filly who was named Mut Herti were playing away from the adults of the herd a few yards away when our ears started to hear the sound of cackling. We looked up towards the dune to see a group of 5 hyenas. The lead hyena let out a hyena giggle chorus before all five of them ran at Mut and I with their tails up. Frightened, we both ran towards the herd with the hyenas hot on our heels. In my fear I did not notice Mut trip in front of me and we both fell. Whinnying loudly as we closed our eyes in preparation for the attack. I remember hearing an eagle cry out before hearing the hyena's growl out in pain. Opening my eyes at the sound I noticed our human master Bayek on the back of the camel he took to look for the 2 missing camel mothers and their calves. One of the hyena's was laying on the ground as it passed away. In Bayek's hand was a Khopesh from what my mother told me when she and Mut's mother Annapolis approached after the other four hyenas ran off.

Even though not a lot of time had passed since Mut and I had learned our lesson to respect the predators in the dunes of Siwa, Egypt. My foal hood has been spent learning to respect my environment, the predators and my human master. Thanks to the teachings of both my parents and the herd I was born in. My destiny was going to be a wild adventure of a lifetime for me. My future is connected with my human master as my story is just beginning. As I run next to my father at the head of the herd. I know that more tales of my adventures are to come but for now I am just going to enjoy my life as a foal.
