Chapter 15: Sky the Limit
It was a clear day, in the city of Sydney, Australia, where several Epix members: Lincoln, Sarah, the PALMs, Bloom, Musa, and the newest members, the Hexside Squad are right now walking up to a marigot round, led by Maricela & Musa thanks to their powers detecting the flute in the center.
"This way, guys. The Flute of the Immortals." Sarah said while holding the Chi-O-Matic.
"Right. Within it, is the Chi of the Sky Demon, Hsi Wu." Lincoln added.
"I still can't believe this instrument is the symbol of the Immortal who used it to defeat the Sky Demon Sorcerer. And I'm the Fairy of Music." Musa spoke with her & Maricela glowed brighter.
"Well, I still can't believe it's been found on a Marigot round." Maricela noticed.
"Too bad we only came to Australia for our Demon Chi quest. It would be nice to go see the wilderness or the beaches." Abigail sighed.
"Yeah, I was dying to go see it all myself." Lucky agreed.
"Maybe next time girls," Pru promised.
"Never thought we'd find demon trouble here. I mean we've only been in Epix for a week and we're already on a big quest." Luz gestured herself, along with the rest of the Hexside Squad.
"The place does look amazing in person. By the way Luz, why do they call this place down under?" Amity asked in confusion.
"It's because Australia is the continent southeast of the Eastern Hemisphere. According to the maps, they showed us." Luz answered. "Plus, you'd be surprised the animals here are as much as weird as the ones in the Demon Realm, only without magic." She pointed to the animals' shaped rides on the marigot round.
"Guess that's an inspiration. Uh, where are Gus and Hunter?" Willow noticed Gus & Hunter are missing.
"I can't believe you talked me into this!" Hunter's voice was heard revealing he was riding a Platypus, Gus on an Emu, & surprisingly Jade Chan in her Talisman Shinobi riding a kangaroo.
"This is fun though. Come on." Gus spoke.
"Jade? What are you doing?" Sarah questioned.
"Like I'd join you guys into coming all the way to Australia and not ride a kangaroo," Jade answered when the rest of the Epix members got on the marigot round.
"Come on it's like a race to me," Gus said
"Ok, here's the flute, right there in the center," Musa said with Sarah pointing the Chi-O-Matic at the flute. "Here goes. Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fi Di Zao! Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fi Di-What the?!" Her chanting was interrupted by dodging a fireball that came from none other than Drago.
"Drago!" Lincoln recognized.
"I knew he'd follow us!" Pru added.
"That's Drago in person?!" Luz asked.
"Oh yeah! Green, scaly, red eyes and breathes fire like his father: Shendu!" Lucky answered.
"Never thought I'd see a Demon Sorcerer of the spawn of one here. There were only legends back in the Demon Realm." Amity arms herself with her abomination magic.
"Um Musa...!" Bloom looks at the Fairy of Music.
"Please don't rush me! I'm trying to focus! Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fi Di Zao! Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fi Di Zao!" Musa began chanting faster.
"Uh, guys!" Gus watches Drago creating a fireball in his claws.
"Hi-Yah!" Jade kicks Drago which made the fireball hit the center of the marigot round instead, making it go too fast.
"Oh, not good!" Sarah widened her eyes while everyone held on tight.
"Time to throw this shrimp on a barbe!" Drago threatened.
"So not a G'Day!" Jade feared.
"Gus! Hunter! Help Jade!" Willow alerted.
"Gus, bring out your Pokémon partner!" Hunter shouts out his Pokéball.
"Got it! Houdini, use Shadow Ball!" Gus sends Houdini the Zorua out of her Pokéball.
"Blaze Beak, grab Jade!" Hunter does the same with Blaze Beak.
Houdini uses a shadow ball at Drago knocking him down, Blaze Beak catches Jade and flies away.
"Phew." Sarah sighed.
"It's going too fast!" Lucky yelled.
"Watch out!" Bloom is alerted with the rides breaking apart while Drago tries to absorb the Demon Chi.
"Guys, we gotta stop Drago from absorbing the Sky Demon Chi!" Musa warned.
"I got an idea!" Luz sends Echo from his Pokéball. "Lincoln, you think you can turn into Slinger?" She asked while giving her girlfriend a signal.
"Want Slinger?" Lincoln asked tapping his watch as transformed into Spiderman form. "You got it!"
"Echo, use Air Cutter! Amity, I need help!" Luz signaled to hold up an ice glyph while Slinger webs the center.
"Noibat!" Echo unleashes his Air Cutter attack.
"Right!" Amity uses her abomination magic to combine with both the Air Cutter and the webbing to stop the gears in the center from moving which stopped the marigot round also.
"Woah!" Jade almost loses her balance before she was grabbed by Willow's vines.
"I gotcha!" Willow told.
"AHHHHHH!" Drago quickly grabs the marigot round's bench only to see the kangaroo flying towards him. "AH!" He yelled before it hits, causing him to fall into a cotton candy kart.
"This is our chance!" Musa gets back up before chanting along with Maricela. "Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fi Di Zao! Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fi Di Zao!" They chanted until the Sky Demon Chi into the Chi-O-Matic.
"That was close! Good thinking Luz." Sliger breathed.
"Thanks. Great job, Sweet Potato." Luz hugs Amity.
Hehehe. You, too." Amity giggled her face all red.
"Thank heavens we got it. My hair was about to stand up." Maricela fixes her hair when the Quinjet came in with Molly, Chloe, and theirs along with Sarah and the PALMs' respective horses in it while Sari was the pilot.
"Hey! You need a ride?" Molly asked when everyone boarded the Quinjet.
"Not bad for the Hexside Squad's first time in Australia." Luz smiled as Drago got up only to see Epix's Quinjet fly away with the Sky Demon Chi.
"LOUD!" Drago called out before breathing fire into the sky in anger.
By the time they got back to Epic City, Megaville, the same said Epix just arrived back at their Star bases, with everybody ready to sleep.
"So, Musa, since we are still in Australia time, that means we've already been to school." Jade made up an excuse.
"Nice try, girl. But no dice. Now let's go to bed, we have a field trip tomorrow, and we're bringing the Hexside Squad with us. We promised it'll be good for them, especially Luz and Amity, we promised ourselves, the Pines twins, PALMs, and Dani we'd keep our chaperones: Shaggy & Scooby out of trouble." Musa brought up.
"Aww." Jade pouted and before she went to her room, Luz came in.
"Oh good, Jade. I need your help with something." Luz said.
The next day, Lincoln was trying to insert the Sky Demon Chi into the containment tank.
"That's weird. The Sky Demon Chi is not going into the containment tank." Lincoln spoke while Bloom, Sarah & Molly were with him.
"So, how do we do?" Sarah asked.
"Let's talk to Tecna. I bet she could fix it." Bloom said.
"Yeah, that girl can do techno-magic like a boss," Molly commented when they left.
But a few minutes later, Jade sneaks into the containment unit and found the containment jar with the new Demon Chi in it.
"Hmm. Luz didn't specifically say what I can't find to put in her necklace for her girlfriend." Jade secretly aims the Chi-O-Matic into some kind of necklace that has glass containment, which puts the Sky Demon Chi in it.
An hour later, Musa, the Pines twins, Dani, Jade, the PALMs, and the Hexside Squad were taking a school bus ride to their field trip, with Shaggy Rogers & Scooby-Doo being their chaperones, yet the said duo is unsurprisingly nervous about their destination: a haunted manor.
"Ok everybody, we're almost at the hunted manor. Perfect place seeing, haha, non-resting spirits." Shaggy spoke in a scared tone.
"Yeah. Non-resting." Scooby-Doo repeated in the same tone.
"Can't believe aside from you, we're leaving those two chickens in charge," Jade grumbled.
"I know it's Shaggy & Scooby we're talking about, but they're good friends," Musa said.
"Oh, Luz, here you go." Jade gets Luz's attention before passing her the same necklace from before.
"Thanks, Jade," Luz whispered before going to sit back next to Amity.
"Jade, what did you do?" Musa questioned.
"Nothing. Just helping the newbie get something good for her girlfriend." Jade made up.
"So, Amity, how are you feeling about this trip?" Luz asked.
"Well, I'm not surprised we're going this kind of place. But I'm glad we're spending it together." Amity romantically holds Luz's hand.
"Hehehe." Luz blushes along with her.
"Aw look at those love birds." Mabel watches them from another seat. "Don't they make an amazing couple?"
"You should see how well they fight together." Willow smiled.
"Come on guys. We shouldn't be spying." Dipper gives a stern look.
"It'd be great if those two would fight Drago or any Demon Chi together alone. That would make this trip look so close to a hero witch-style date." Mabel giggled.
"That might not surprise if it does," Willow added.
"So, what is this about this haunted manor thing anyway? Is it like finding spirits Boiling Isles?" Hunter spoke.
"Not always like that. But we're used to that kind of stuff." Dipper answered.
"Boo!" Dani suddenly appeared in front of him with three heads.
"AH!" Dipper jumped a bit when the other two heads were revealed to be an illusion.
"Hahaha! Gotcha." Gus laughed showing that he did it.
"Nice job, dude." Dani high-fives Gus.
"Very funny." Dipper pouted while Mabel and Willow giggled when the bus hit a speed bump.
"Oh, good heavens!" Maricela held on.
"Woah!" Luz & Amity both yelped when they were both unaware it made the Sky Demon Chi leave the necklace and got absorbed into Amity through her head unnoticed.
"Oh, my Titan." Amity felt a tingle in her body in response.
"Are you okay, Sweet Potato?" Luz asked.
"Yeah. I'm fine." Amity breathed unaware her left eye shows the Hsi Wu the Sky Demon Sorcerer, meaning she now possesses his Demon Chi.
Somewhere nearby, Drago sensed the Sky Demon Chi of Hsi Wu, along with the location it is heading towards.
"The Sky Demon Chi. And Lincoln Loud is far away. I'm back in business!" Drago makes an evil smile.
Back at the Star bases, Tecna was just heading into the containment tank, when she noticed the Chi-O-Matic is there, but not the new Demon Chi.
"Um, guys. The Chi-O-Matic is still here, but the Sky Demon Chi is missing!" Tecna told Lincoln, Bloom, Sarah & Molly.
"Wait. Jade must've taken it. I noticed her sneaking around before she left." Lincoln mentioned.
"That means it's with Musa and the rest of our friends!" Bloom gasped.
"Come on! Let's find Danny. Danielle could be in danger too." Sarah told.
The field trip bus arrives at the haunted manor, where the Epix members on it along with Shaggy & Scooby all entered while Drago is waiting.
"Another haunted manor to add to the list. Right Scoob?" Shaggy asked.
"Yeah." Scooby-Doo agreed.
"Pfft. This is nothing." Jade blew a raspberry.
"Jaddddeeee..." The ghostly voice that spoke made Jade jump.
"AHHHHHHHH!" Jade scream and jumps into Lincoln's arms.
Lincoln looks deadpan. "Ben...stop using Ghostfreak!"
Ghostfreak comes out of hiding before he changed back.
"Hahaha! You should've seen your face." Ben laughed.
"Wait. What are you guys doing here?" Musa asked the two.
"Bloom sent us. Sorry, Musa." Lincoln whispered into her ear while the tour guide was speaking.
"You may not believe what you'll see next. But since you're Epix, I bet you will. This way to the basement." The tour guide leads them to the basement floor.
"A basement. A perfect chance to get chased by a ghost in a haunted house." Shaggy gulped.
"Are you sure you're ok, Amity?" Luz asked.
"I'm fine. My feet just hurt a little, but I know it'll stop." Amity answered unaware that her feet are beginning to look like those of Hsi Wu, with the claws coming out of her shoes.
"I think it was funny." Ben gets nudged by Lincoln while Jade sneaks off while no one noticed. Well, almost no one.
"You think that's everybody?" Musa asked as they arrived at the basement floor.
"Wait a minute. Two people are missing." Amity noticed.
"Jade. Now I know how her uncle feels. And my guess is your girlfriend went after her." Musa figured.
"Seriously? Doorknobs?" Ben questioned seeing a closet that has a Doorknobs collection.
"Guys, you stay with the tour guide. Amity and I will be right back. Shaggy & Scooby, you're with us." Musa told.
"Definitely easy to get lost here. Hahaha." Shaggy chuckled nervously.
"Your right that one Shaggy," Scooby said
Back upstairs, Jade was investigating while Luz found her.
"Tape recorder. I knew it." Jade smirked while Luz noticed Drago's claws from behind Jade.
"Jade! Watch out!" Luz alerted.
"AAAHHHH!" Jade screamed which was heard by Musa, along with Lincoln, Amity, and Shaggy & Scooby-Doo.
"Guys come on!" Musa leads the four to the screaming, only Amity was the last to catch up she didn't notice her shadow looked like Hsi Wu.
"Oh, did I scare you?" Drago mocked.
"Yeah, well, looks aren't everything!" Jade tried to insult.
"Jade, no time for trash talk!" Luz quickly grabbed Jade's hand before running from Drago.
"There you guys are! And it looks like you're not alone! We've should've known! Magic Winx! Bloomix!" Musa noticed Drago before transforming into her Bloomix form. "Musa, Fairy of Music!" She said before her transformation was finished.
"What do you want Drago?!" Lincoln glared while he along with Shaggy & Scooby caught up.
"I want the Sky Demon Chi! It's here! I can smell it!" Drago evilly grinned while Jade and Luz noticed Amity in the shadows.
"Luz!" Amity's voice suddenly sounded deeper and demonic, while her eyes were glowing red.
"Amity?" Luz looks at her girlfriend in confusion when they saw Amity transform into her own version of Hsi Wu, even though her hair & clothes are the same.
"Zoinks!" Shaggy yells his catchphrase in fear when everybody except Drago ducks.
"The Sky Demon Chi!" Drago looks in surprise before Amity grabbed Drago and flew into the piano in the main hall.
"Amity! Oh, my Titan!" Luz gasped.
"What?! What happened to me?!" Amity looks at herself.
"Claws for hands, demon wings, an evil twinkle in the eye. Something tells me I should've emptied the Demon Chi in that necklace." Jade looks at the Abomination track witchling's new features.
"You think?! You didn't even tell me what was in that necklace!" Luz scowled at the young Chan.
"Talk later. We're out of here!" Jade grabs Luz's hand while Shaggy & Scooby noticed it too.
"Like run, Scooby-Doo!" Shaggy along with Scooby runs in a panic.
"Luz?" Amity recognized her girlfriend's voice and followed them before Drago got up while breathing fire.
Back in the basement, the other Epix members on the trip were still listening to the tour guide while the rest of the Hexside Squad was waiting patiently.
"Guys, they've been going to search for Luz and Jade for a long time. We gotta go look for them." Willow begins to leave the basement with Gus, Hunter & even Maricela following her until they got out.
"You sure we should be leaving the rest of our friends?" Hunter asked.
"We can't just stand around waiting for so long. We gotta find them ourselves." Willow answered when Maricela stopped for a minute.
"You okay, Maricela?" Gus looks at her when she started glowing purple again.
"No, I'm not. The Sky Demon Chi is somehow here. I can feel it." Maricela sensed.
"That means we have two things to find before Drago does. Come on." Willow begins to lead them.
Back in the basement, the remaining Epix members noticed the tour guide has finished talking.
"Alright, kids. Off to the gift shop." The tour guide was about to lead them out when the door suddenly closed by itself. "Uh, hehe. It seems to be stuck." He chuckled nervously.
"Stuck? I think we're more like trapped!" Abigail gasped.
"Wait! Maricela, Willow, Gus & Hunter are missing!" Pru noticed.
Back in the hallway, Luz, Jade, Shaggy & Scooby-Doo were still running from Amity, when she heard Abigail yelling from the basement.
"Help! Help! Help!" Abigail yelled.
"Great Abigail! Like anybody can hear you!" Pru's voice was heard in sarcasm while Amity was about to claw the locked door.
"She's heading for the basement!" Luz observed.
"This is all my fault! What if I'm giving Amity an Epix-style all-you-can-eat buffet?" Jade concluded.
"Buffet? Are you crazy?! This is my awesome girlfriend! She would never do that!" Luz scowled at the young Chan.
"Hey Demon face! Here's something pretty appetizing!" Jade & Luz leading Amity away.
"I say we keep running!" Shaggy along with Scooby follows suit.
"Luz! Wait!" Amity flew after them.
"Just when we thought we were safe from monsters!" Shaggy shouted in terror.
"I got an idea. Dani, since you have ghost powers, see if you can find help. We'll be fine until you get back." Lucky told.
"On it!" Dani saluted before changing into her ghost form and flew out the wall.
Back in the hallways, Jade was still having herself, Luz, Shaggy & Scooby lead Amity when she thought they lost her.
"Ok. We just gotta lose her." Jade then noticed some shadows in front of them. "AHHHH!"
"AHHHHH!" Shaggy & Scooby both screamed.
"Amity, please don't hurt Luz! She came to me just to get you something because she loves you! If anyone deserves to be hurt, it's me!" Jade begged.
"Woah! Jade! It's okay. It's us." A familiar voice spoke when it was revealed to be Musa accompanied by Bloom (with her Bloomix power), Lincoln, Sarah, Danny, Maricela & the rest of the Hexside Squad (minus Amity).
"Musa! Lincoln! Where were you?" Jade hugs the Fairy of Music.
"After Lincoln & I got separated from you, Maricela and the rest of the Hexside Squad found us, then we ran into Bloom, Sarah & Danny," Musa explained.
"Where's Danielle and everyone else?" Danny asked.
"They're fine. But Amity was wearing a necklace I helped Luz make her, and accidentally got zapped by the Sky Demon Chi. And now she wants to eat me, Luz, our chaperones: Shaggy & Scooby here, and even the other Epix members on this trip who are trapped in the basement! Oh, and Drago's here too, and the house has really become spook central." Jade explained rapidly.
"That does not sound like Amity at all." Willow doubted.
"She's right, Jade. Amity's our teammate and our friend. I'm sure she doesn't want to harm any of us, not even you or Luz." Bloom agreed with the Plant track witchling.
"Oh yeah, she just loves Epix and her girlfriend. Medium rare." Jade responded in sarcasm.
"Are you serious, Jade?! Even I know Amity is not like that! She'd be trying to resist the Demon Chi! How could you talk about my Sweet Potato like that!?" Luz snapped.
"Woah! Calm down, Luz. We'll find her, promise." Bloom told me when she calmed down.
"Right. Sorry." Jade apologized. "So, what's the plan?" She looks at Lincoln.
"You stay with Sarah while she sees if Tecna's touches fixed the Chi-O-Matic," Lincoln said.
"Right. Danny will find the basement where everyone else is. Shaggy & Scooby will help the rest of you find both Demon Chi." Sarah added.
"No way!" Jade denied.
"Uh, yes way! You're gotta hear a lot from me when this is over!" Musa argued.
"Well, if what Jade said in that first part is true, then we should get started now," Hunter suggested.
"Guys, Hunter's right. We don't have time for this." Bloom looks at Luz. "Don't worry, Luz. We're gonna help you make sure Drago won't lay a claw on Amity." She promised.
"Thanks, guys." Luz thanked before pulling out her Pokéball. "Ok, Echo, come on out!" She sends out Echo.
"Noibat." Echo squeaked.
"Echo, we need your help to find Amity. So, you gotta use your ways with sound." Luz instructed.
"Noibat." Echo nodded.
"Like why can't we be the ones watching Jade or helping Danny, and you help find both demons, Sarah?" Shaggy questioned in fear.
"You wanna risk finding a ton of angry ghosts in this haunted manor? Or Ghost Pokémon for that matter?" Luz makes a smirk.
"On second thought, never mind." Shaggy quickly took back his question.
"Yeah. Never mind. Let's go." Scooby agreed.
Luz only smiles. "Good, for a good award...how about my own style Scooby Snack!"
"You made your own Scooby Snacks?" Shaggy & Scooby both look in excitement.
"Yep. Come on. Let's go save my awesome girlfriend." Luz nodded.
Moments later after the Epix members split up, Sarah finished checking the Chi-O-Matic.
"Good as new. Thank you, Tecna. Come on Jade." Sarah notices Jade disappeared. "Jade? Oh brother. Not again."
Danny arrives at the kitchen, searching around for the basement while being cautious at the same time.
"I better find everyone soon. Knowing my experience with ghosts, things could get ugly at any moment." Danny spoke when he noticed Dani enter through the wall. "Dani!"
"Danny!" Dani hugs her cousin.
"Are you okay?" Danny asked.
"I'm fine." Dani started when everything in the kitchen begins to move around on its own while silverware, plates, cups, and cooking materials fly at them. "We're not alone." She blasted some of them into pieces.
"Come on!" Danny told me before the flew out.
Group 3 was looking around another hallway to find Amity and Drago.
"Like is there anything we wouldn't do for Scooby Snacks?" Shaggy along with Scooby munch on the Scooby Snacks.
"Uh-Uh. Yummy." Scooby licks his lips in delight.
"What's in those snacks?" Willow asked.
"I'll explain later," Luz answered.
"Watch out!" Gus alerted when the floorboards began to attack.
Willow mask a circle and created a vine wall. "The place is attacking us!"
"You think?!" Musa kicks one of the floorboards.
"Good reflexes, Willow!" Luz said when the vine wall made the floorboards stop.
"Phew. That was close." Lincoln then noticed Jade in front while in her Talisman Shinobi suit. "AH!" He yelped with her.
"Jade! Seriously?! Lincoln said to stay with Sarah!" Musa scowled.
"You're my fellow Epix members, except Shaggy & Scooby, so what's your point?" Jade questioned when they heard a familiar screech.
"That's Amity!" Luz recognized.
"And she is close. This way!" Maricela along with Musa glowed purple again while leading everyone to a large room with a library, where they found Amity was grabbed by Drago.
"What do you want, Drago?!" Amity struggles in grasp.
"What do you think, little witchling?! You just magically sprouted wings out of thin air?! You have my Sky Demon Chi, and I want it back!" Drago answered in demand when Amity uses her abomination magic to push him off.
"Sorry, but I don't think giving something to the spawn of Demon Sorcerer, particularly Shendu will cut it." Amity denied before flying onto a beam.
"Rah!" Drago breathes fire at the beams which Amity flies to avoid.
"Leave her alone, Drago!" Lincoln gets Drago's attention.
"Back off Loud!" Drago threatened.
"You back off! Or else!" Luz pulls out her glyph notes.
"I not scared of a little fake witch brat!" Drago's shouts make Amity angry.
"Don't..." Amity said getting gray skin and eyes turning red. "SAY THAT TO HER!"
"Watch out!" Bloom alerted when they all dodged Drago's fire breathing.
"Ugh! How rude!" Maricela scoffed while Amity flew after Luz.
"Uh, Shaggy..." Scooby-Doo points to the bear rug in the room now coming to life.
"I'm guessing he's angry about being a rug now!" Shaggy figured when the bear rug attacked them both.
"Amity, you really don't wanna do... This!" Luz gets grabbed by Amity who flew away with her.
"Luz!" Willow, Gus & Hunter called out.
"Gotcha!" Jade grabs Amity by the tail only to get carried off herself.
"Jade!" Musa's eyes widened while Echo flew after Amity while the burning chandelier was about to fall on Shaggy & Scooby.
"Double Zoinks!" Shaggy screamed.
Lincoln transforms into Stronghold and grabs Drago. "Alright, tell me how to change Amity back!"
"Um, Lincoln. Did you forget we normally do it with a good Chi removal spell? Red Dragon Orb!" Bloom makes her defensive spell save Shaggy & Scooby.
"Oh, right." Stronghold remembered when Drago got out of his grip and the two fought.
"Hey, you big lizard! Take this!" Hunter uses his magic speed to kick Drago.
"Nice one, bro!" Gus complimented while Willow fights Drago also.
"Like help!" Shaggy & Scooby hold each other in fear of the bear rug.
"Gus! I need that illusion magic of yours!" Maricela told.
Gus makes a big light blue circle. "Do your thing!"
"Here goes." Maricela fires a bright purple aura from her hand into the circle which blasts the bear rug until it is down.
"That's one way to put that bear into hibernation. Thanks, guys." Shaggy thanked.
"Yeah, good teamwork," Scooby said.
"You're quite welcome." Maricela accepted while Willow leads Drago to a rocking chair before using her plant magic.
"Gotcha!" Willow has the demon entangled in vines before Stronghold lands on the chair to flip him over.
That's when one of the bookshelves came to life before opening its mouth.
"AHHHH!" Drago flies into the bookshelf's mouth before it closed and turned back to normal.
"Guys, what's going on?" Hunter asked.
"The presence of two Demon Chi has awakened the angry spirits of this house. That's why it's now really haunted." Bloom sensed with her powers.
"We gotta find the girls! I can sense the Sky Demon Chi! Follow me!" Musa leads everyone else. "And Lincoln, I might need some Neos-style help, dude!"
Lincoln turned on his watch, and pick his icon. "Neos...I need you!" He transforms into a dark version. "Dark Neos!"
"Oh my! I'm liking this color combination!" Maricela admired.
"Save friends now, admire this later!" Willow reminded.
"Right." Maricela giggled.
In another hallway, Danny & Dani were about to reach the basement when the door that leads to them closed.
"Good news is we know where our friends are. The bad news is, they don't have ghost powers." Danny points out.
"Guess we have to use that laundry chute." Dani points to a laundry chute that also leads to the basement.
"Hey! We're coming to get you!" Dani calls out before they both went in.
The remaining Epix members in the basement just heard Dani's voice from their end of the chute.
"Oh no! It's the angry ghost!" Abigail panicked about using her powers.
"Wait a minute, Abigail." Pru stops her when both Phantom cousins came in.
"Oh. It's Danny & Dani. Hey guys." Abigail chuckled while the tour guide fainted.
In a room on the upper floor, Luz along with Echo & Jade was in a nest made of objects that Amity's gathering.
"You must be working up quite an appetite. Why don't I go and get you some juicy jumbo-sized worms?" Jade chuckled nervously.
"Hold it right there." Amity denied.
"Amity, if you're in there, please don't hurt Jade. Or me." Luz blocks her.
"Hurt you? Why would I do that to you, Luz?" Amity questioned with a smile.
"Say what?" Jade looks confused.
"I brought you up here, so I can protect my girlfriend and Jade from Drago," Amity explained.
"Ha! I knew you were still there!" Luz beamed.
"Noibat." Echo nodded.
Musa & Maricela were leading Dark Neos, Bloom, the rest of the Hexside Squad, and Shaggy & Scooby-Doo up the staircase, but it was hard for Shaggy & Scooby have a hard time catching up.
"Like why couldn't this fancy mansion have an elevator?" Shaggy catches his breath before the two kept going.
"It was built in the 50s Shaggy...people get around." Bloom states
Dark Neos grabbed both Shaggy and Scooby. "Hold on."
"WOAH!" Shaggy & Scooby yelled.
Back in the basement, Danny & Dani were making sure their remaining teammates climb out through the chute, with only the tour guide left.
"That's all of them, cuz!" Dani announced when the wall suddenly started moving towards them. "Oh, come on." She deadpanned as the tour guide climbed out in panic.
"Time to go!" Danny told when a pink pole got between them in the wall.
"I know that shade of pink." Dani recognized.
"Thank me later! Come on!" Mabel's voice was heard before the Phantom cousins flew out of the laundry chute safely.
Back in the room, Amity was dancing with Luz while she was holding her while flying.
"Hehehe. And to think, I was worried for a second." Luz said.
"Hey ladies, I'm sorry for putting you through all this. Especially you, Amity." Jade apologized.
"It's ok. Sorry for scaring you guys." Amity lands with Luz back into the nest she made. "And Luz, thank you for not giving up on me, even for how I look now."
"Sweet Potato, you know I would never do that. Besides, even when she's the living vessel of a Demon Chi like this one, I'm very glad to know my awesome girlfriend is still in there." Luz smiles at her girlfriend.
Amity smiled. "Come here." She hugged Luz who hugged back with a smiling face.
"Noibat." Echo smiles along with Jade.
That's when they heard a sound from the fireplace while it glows fiery red before it exploded, revealing it was Drago.
"I'm back!" Drago makes an evil smile.
"I got this!" Amity flies up to fight while arming herself by covering her hands with her abomination.
"Amity, wait!" Luz tries to stop her.
"Beauty and the Beast! How cute!" Drago climbs up the nest before Amity flies at him, but she misses.
"Hey, Scally!" Jade pushes off an old mannequin after Luz puts a plant glyph on it at Drago.
Drago breaks the plant with his fire. "You can't stop me!"
"Noibat!" Echo tackles Drago, making him fall to the floor.
That's when Amity flies and crashes Drago into a pile of furniture.
"Amity!" Luz and Jade rush to her when two knight armors came alive with angry spirits before they began to attack with a sword or mace.
"Uh-Oh." Luz widened her eyes when Dark Neos (who puts down Shaggy & Scooby), Musa, Maricela, Bloom, and the rest of the Hexside Squad came in.
"Guys!" Musa spoke when one of the armors threw its mace at them.
"Heads up!" Shaggy & Scooby alerted while everyone moved out of the way.
"Infinite Echo! / Volcanic Attack!" Musa & Bloom combine their spells to knock the other armor's helmet off, only for it about to attack with its sword.
"Echo, use Air Cutter!" Luz shouted.
"Noibat!" Echo unleashes an Air Cutter to stop the armor and knock it away.
"Phew. Thanks, boy!" Luz thanked her while Echo flew towards the armor when suddenly he started glowing completely.
Echo turns into a newly evolved form of his. "Noivern."
"Did you just...Evolve?!" Luz looks in surprise before Echo's ears began to unleash a clear sonic blast at the armor. "And you learned a new move! Musa told me that's Boomburst!" She looks in excitement.
"Like wow! Talk about evolving to save the day!" Shaggy observed.
"Yeah." Scooby nodded when Amity and Drago both flew out of the pile with Drago about to start absorbing the Sky Demon Chi from her.
"Drago's going to take the Sky Demon Chi from Amity!" Bloom alerted.
"Not if we have anything to say about it!" Dark Neos looks at everyone else. "Maricela, you and Shaggy & Scooby help Bloom & Musa fight the knight armors! Willow, Gus, Hunter, I need your help to stop Drago!" He extends the claws on his knuckles.
"Here goes nothing!" Willow makes another circle to make vines form some kind of slingshot.
"3, 2, 1!" Dark Neos counted down before he & Hunter launched themselves before they kicked Drago away from Amity before he could absorb the Demon Chi.
"Nice shot, Willow." Hunter complimented (making Willow blush) when Drago punched Dark Neos.
"Are you ok?" Luz asked.
"I'm good. Go help Amity." Dark Neos told before Luz went to help Amity, while he looks at some mouse traps behind him.
"On it!" Gus caught on before using his illusion-making to mask the mouse traps to look like boxes.
"Run for it, Scooby-Doo!" Shaggy & Scooby run from the knight armor as bait.
"Help!" Scooby-Doo screamed.
"Here they come!" Jade points to them.
"You knights have done your last joust!" Musa along with Bloom and Maricela blast both armors into pieces.
"That was highly unpleasant. Even for a haunted mansion." Maricela commented.
"Thanks, boys." Bloom thanked.
"Like no problem." Shaggy took a breath.
"Yeah. No problem at all." Scooby nodded while Echo flew up.
"Amity, are you okay?" Luz asked.
"I will be once we stop him. Ready for some teamwork?" Amity smirked forming abomination claws.
"You read my mind, babe." Luz nodded pulling out two ice glyphs.
"Hey, Drago! If you're still tough, come and get me!" Dark Neos dared which tempted Drago to leap toward him. "Now Gus!" He signaled before flying out of the way.
Gus makes a big circle with a smile. "See ya later dragon boy...BOOYAKASHA!"
That's when the illusion vanished, revealing the mouse traps.
"AH! Ow! Ow! Ow!" Drago grunted in pain the moment he landed which triggered the traps.
"Sorry, I'm late." Sarah arrived with the Chi-O-Matic.
"Look out! Here comes Lumity!" Luz called put ice glyphs on Amity's abomination claws while they fly alongside Echo & Dark Neos.
"Time to send you flying!" Amity added when they all pushed Drago to the balcony.
"AH! AHHHHHH!" Drago yelled before he fell off the balcony and into the water.
They look at Drago, fallen into the water, and Jade smirks. "Enjoy the big deep!"
"Wow. That was both fun and satisfying at the same time. It almost felt like I did that to my mother." Amity chuckled.
"I think it's about we get you back to normal, Sweet Potato," Luz spoke.
"Are you sure? I was planning on taking you on a romantic flight around the world." Amity asked.
"Amity, as cool as this was, I'd rather prefer the real you over having the Demon Chi any day. The rest of Epix, our friends, and I all need you while wanting you back. Plus, underneath this, you're still the Amity I love, who knows she doesn't need have a Demon Chi to show she's my awesome girlfriend. Because you're already awesome without it." Luz holds Amity's hand. "Ready to change back?"
Amity blushes as nodded. "Alright, I am ready...Guys say it."
"Alright. Chi-O-Matic is ready." Sarah signaled.
"Yo Mo Gui Gwai Fi Di Zao! Yo Mo Gui Gwai Fi Di Zao! Yo Mo Gui Gwai Fi Di Zao! Yo Mo Gui Gwai Fi Di Zao!" Musa, Maricela & Dark Neos all chanted for the removal spell to begin removing the Sky Demon Chi from Amity.
"It's working," Bloom observed as the Sky Demon was finally removed completely and went into the Chi-O-Matic's containment tank, with Amity back to normal.
"AMITY!" Luz along with the rest of the Hexside Squad gave Amity a group hug. "Oh, I missed this beautiful face."
"Even I miss your normal self." Willow states.
"Same..." Hunter respond
"Yourself is great." Gus comments in agreement.
"Thank you. All of you." Amity smiled as the sun finally came out while Drago, still at the bottom of the cliff, got out of the water onto a rock in anger.
"I get those sons of a-" Drago said only get splash away.
Back at the main hall, all of the Epix members who were on the upper floor, or the basement were back together along with Shaggy & Scooby-Doo.
"Ok. That's just about everybody." Danny spoke.
"Yep. Present and accounted." Dani added.
"Too bad we missed the action that Maricela had with you guys," Lucky said.
"Yeah. But at least we're all out of the basement." Abigail mentioned.
"Thank goodness. And I'm glad to have my fellow PALMs back!" Maricela hugs the other three girls.
"Well, I'm just glad everyone is ok." Bloom sighs with relief.
"You should've heard Dipper screaming. It's normally in a deep voice.
"Mabel." Dipper scowls his twin. "But seriously, you guys stopped Drago?"
"Yep. It was great teamwork that we all did. Even in a haunted mansion. We even saw Lincoln turn into Neos' dark form for the first time." Willow answered.
"But it was Luz and Amity who deserve the most credit for protecting the Sky Demon Chi along with each other." Hunter nodded.
"And little Echo evolved." Gus points to Echo.
"Noivern!" Echo smiled.
"It was totally exciting all in all," Jade smirked.
"Not so fast, Jade. I'm still gonna give a big lecture about today. So, don't think for a second I'm done with you." Musa deadpanned much to Jade's worry.
"So, how does the house look?" Lincoln asked.
"Now that the Demon Chi are gone, the spirits here have returned to their resting place. Resting in peace." Bloom happily sensed with her powers.
"Come on, Amity. Let's go home." Luz holds Amity's hand.
"Yes. I think we're so gonna take a long rest of our own when we get back." Amity leans her head against Luz's.
"I'm just glad we no longer have anything to be scared of," Shaggy said following everyone else out the door.
"Uh, Shaggy!" Scooby points to the portrait of the woman who owns the manor when the face raised an eyebrow.
"ZOINKS!" Shaggy & Scooby-Doo both ran out toward the bus.
Back in Epix's (particularly the Hexside Squad's) Magical Manor, Luz and Amity were in Luz's room while they were giving deep, compassionate kisses.
"Are you ready for our first time, Amity?" Luz asked her girlfriend.
"Little nervous." Amity honestly
"Me too. But after what happened today, I think we take this on. I love you, Sweet Potato." Luz smiles.
"I love you too, Batata." Amity smiled back before they kissed again, and in a few seconds, they started taking each other's clothes off.
They slowly stripped each other clothes, showing only their purple panties and blue thong...having red faces.
"Let's do this, babe." Luz gently lays Amity on the bed.
"Hehehe. I'm really ready now." Amity gives her girlfriend another kiss and they end up completely naked.
"And to make this a little more romantic..." Amity covers them both with the blanket.
Then from outside of the room, there was the sound of Luz and Amity happily moaning & giggling as after having a day of dealing with the Sky Demon Chi, they continue their awaited romantic night.
