Sydney to the Max: The Four Amigas All Grown Up

Episode 1 - The Difficult Talk

Written by: Fun But Shy Girl

Based on Characters Created by: Mark Reisman

At a public high school, Emmy Mendoza stood smiling and waving as several high school students walked into the library. As the students walked past Emmy, a happy looking Emmy said, "Hey Caitlin. Love that new top you got. What's up Cisco. Glad to hear your aunt is feeling better. Oh hey Iris. Loved that awesome Tik Tok dance you posted last night." Then as one boy walked into the library, Emmy immediately began straightening his hair as she said, "Oh. Mi hijo. I know I leave home before you do, but why don't you let your mama comb your hair for you. Here Barry. Mommy will fix this." Emmy's son Barry then backed away and said, "Mom, it's already embarrassing you work at my school, but don't make it worse by combing my hair in front of my friends. Besides. Girls love the messy hair look." Then as Barry walked away, Emmy rolled her eyes and then said, "What a load of nonsense. How can a boy raised by two girls know nothing about girls?"

Then as most of the high school students sat in chairs, Emmy stood in front of the students as she said, "Hello everyone. Welcome back to the coolest high school library on the planet. Can I get a holler!?" Several students began yelling, "Woo!" Then Emmy suddenly made a serious face and said, "Shh! This is a library!" The students instantly became quiet and looked confused. Then Emmy made a big smile and said, "Nah. I'm just messing with you all... But seriously. be dead quiet if Principal Virmani comes in. That dude still plays things old school. Anyway, me and your English teachers were talking about what your next research assignment should be. Now for your last assignment, you all did research about your family heritage, your religous and personal beliefs, and your culture. Well this time, we want you all to do research about different types of families, along with researching religons and personal beliefs that are different than your own, along with learning about different cultures of your choosing. As important as it is to know yourself and your family's background, it's also important to understand those different than yourself. Now the library here has plenty of books on all major religons, biographies from people raised in all different types of families, and countless stories that come from different cultures. So go start looking."

Then one student said, "Can't we do all this research on our phones?" Emmy smirked and said, "If I allowed that, you'd probrably just come across a short article or wiki page... while sneaking a peek at the one hundred other apps you all love to check out. The advantage books still have are that they are far longer than tweets, have much more depth than any Tik Tok video, don't have distracting clickbait all up in the corners, and keep you more focused by the lack of other apps. I do hope though that once you find a good book, you'll eventually do appropriate online research as well. Remember though, just like all your other research assignments: you must have seven sources, and three MUST be from actual books. Now get up and start doing some research people!"

Harry stood in the kitchen of his home mixing snacks together along with mixing sodas. Sydney then walked into the kitchen as she said, "Whoa. Harry. The girls don't need that much salt and caffeine in their system." Harry smirked as he said, "What? They're having a romantic comedy marathon all night. This is exactly what they need." Then Sydney sighed and said, "But we taught our teenage daughters to eat more healthy than this. I'm sorry, but they're gonna turn this down for the veggie platter I made them." Then Sydney and Harry's two daughters: Alisha and Valicity walked into the kitchen and had big smiles on their faces as they saw what Harry had prepared. A gleeful looking Alisha squealed and said, "Yes! That is the meal of kings!"

Then a happy looking Valicity said, "Yes! This is gonna be the best night ever! Twelve hours straight of the best romcoms ever made! And those that live tweet their favorite moments from every half hour all night will be entered to win tickets to a trip to Hawaii!" Then a curious Sydney said, "How many tickets?" Valicity then casually said, "Four." Then Sydney quickly handed Valicity the soda and said, "Have this soda on me girl, and win those tickets for mama." Then the door bell rang, as Harry said, "Oh. That must be the pizza. Sydney, can you get it?"

Sydney then walked over to the front door, and then opened it as she went wide eyed and said, "Iggy?" Then in front of Sydney, Iggy the Pizza Delivery Guy smiled holding two boxes of pizza as he said, "Yep. And I got two large boxes for... Whoa. Wait a minute. You're little Syd. Max Reynolds' little girl. What's happening?" With a smile, Sydney said, "Iggy. Wow. It's been almost twenty years." Then Alisha and Valicity ran over to the door and grabbed the pizza with smiles as Alisha said, "Yes! Pizza time! Thanks mom. We'll be in my room!" Then as Alisa and Valicity ran away, a happy looking Iggy said, "Whoa. Little Syd has got two little girls all of her own now." Then Sydney looking happy said, "Yeah. Actually they're mine and Harry's. We got married and had Alisha right around the time I graduated from college, and finalized our adoption of Valicity awhile ago. But how are you doing Iggy and... why are you still delivering pizzas twenty years later!?"

Then Iggy said, "Oh. I just do this part time with a food delivery app. Just a fun little thing I like to do on my way home after my regular job." Then a curious Sydney said, "Really. What's your regular job?" Then Iggy in a matter of fact tone said, "Building spaceships for NASA. Anyway, see ya round." Then Iggy closed the door, as Sydney walked away with a very confused look. Then as Sydney walked back into the kitchen, a smiling Harry said, "So... it looks like the girls are gonna be glued to their screens all night, leaving us all alone without any interruptions." Sydney then made a big grin as she said, "You thinking what I'm thinking?"" Harry for three seconds grinned back. Then Sydney and Harry immediately ran into their bedroom and closed the door behind them.

Olive was sitting at a kitchen table drinking coffee as Sophia sat at the opposite side of the table looking upset. As Sophia looked down, she said, "It's just... hard for me to get back into dating. I always chicken out when I try use those dating apps." Then a compassionate sounding Olive said, "Well what about just making new friends and doing strictly platonic stuff together. Is there anybody at work that you'd like to hang out with?" Sophia sighed and said, "No. Everyone at my job acts like a bunch of spoiled teenagers; all of them just playing on their phones all day. None of them know how to be good friends because they just stare at their screens all day. And I can't make any new friends because I live in a world surrounded by people that just stare at their screens all day." Olive looked down slightly as she said, "Yes. That is the way a lot of people are now. But listen. One day a guy is gonna stare away from his phone, get to know you, and will just love you." Sophia sighed and said, "Uggh. The last time a guy spent more than three seconds paying attention to me for something other than my body was... back in college when I was with... you know..."

Olive with a look of sympathy said, "You mean David? That guy you slept with for two years?" Sophia sighed and said, "It was a friends with benefits arrangement... which I regret, but... sometimes I wonder what might have been if I just... uggh. I don't know." Then Olive said, "Well maybe you should at least check in with him and see if he wants to talk just as a friend. Like you keep saying, you need more of them. But remember, you still have me and Emmy. And don't forget to visit Sydney some time. She misses you too." Sophia nodded her head and said, "Thanks Olive. Anyway, I should get going." A concerned looking Olive said, "You're not staying for dinner?" Sophia turned her head and said, "Na. I got an early shift tomorrow. Better go home now." Olive then stood up and hugged Sophia as she said, "Okay. Well like I said, maybe call David, and definitely spend time with Sydney. Love you girl." Then Sophia left out the back dooor, as Olive sighed while she watched Sophia leave.

Then suddenly Emmy and Barry walked into the home through the front door as Emmy with compassion said, "I'm just saying if you want your hair to be sticking out, lets use some gel so it'll at least have style." Then Olive stepped over to the two as she said, "Hey. How are my favorite two people in the world?" Then Barry rushed over to Olive and said, "Ma. Mom keeps wanting to mess with my hair, even at school. I thought we agreed. It's my body, so I get to decide what I do with it." Then Olive put an arm around Barry and said, "You're right Barry. You're a teenager now, and as your mothers we will respect how you want to look." Barry sighed and said, "Thank you." Then Olive moved her hand onto Barry's head as she said, "Except for when your hair is this messy. No son of mine is allowed to go into public with hobo hair." Then Barry instantly walked away as he said, "Uggh. Come on!" Emmy and Olive both giggled and then kissed one another. The two then embraced as Emmy said, "How was your day my beautiful scientist wife?" Olive smirked as she said, "Okay. Talked with Sophia for awhile. But we'll talk about that later. Right now lets just enjoy the best part of my day; when my wife comes home to kiss me." Olive and Emmy both smiled and then began to have a long passionate kiss.

Alisha and Valicity were both sitting in a bedroom in front of a television as a horror movie was playing. As the two girls watched, a scared looking Valicity said, "Are you sure it was smart to tell mom and dad that we were watching a romantic comedy movie marathon, instead of a horror movie marathon." With a big smile Alisha said, "Absolutely. If you make the horror movie marathon feel more forbidden, it makes the scarier moments feel even more scary." Then as Valicity heard wind and thunder outside, she looked more scared as she said, "Uggh. And why did there have to be a thunderstorm tonight?" Then a more excited looking Alisha said, "Val, that makes this night even more epic! This is gonna be a night we wil never forget!" Then as Valicity covered half of her face with a pillow she said, "Uggh. But why does this movie have to be about a killer breaking into a home and murdering people as they scream and groan?" Then Alisha in a matter of fact way said, "Because that's like how over half of horror movies work. Come on Val. It's fun because it's not done in a realistic way. Plus, the odds of something like that happening to us are slim to none."

Then suddenly loud thunder could be heard, and then groaning sounds could be heard. Then a frightened Valicity said, "Oh God. Did you hear that?" Then a confused Alisha said, "Hear what?" Then the two began to hear groans and screams coming through the walls. A scared Valicity then said, "Oh God. The noises are getting louder." Then Alisha stood up and said, "I hear it too. It's coming from a nearby room." Alisha and Valicity then stepped into the hallway. The two then heard voices yelling, "Oh God! Oh God! What are you gonna do with that big... AAAHHHHH!" Then a frightened Alisha said, "That sounds like mom and dad!" Then a freaked out Valicity said, "A killer is trying to murder them. We gotta get them saved!" Then Alisha said, "Okay. Lets rush into their bedroom and bum rush attack the attacker on one... two... three!"

Then Alisha and Valicity burst the door to their parents bedroom open... only to see Sydney and Harry naked in bed as Harry was on top of Sydney shaking his hips while a smiling Sydney said, "Oh God Harry! It's so big! Oh God! Oh God! Oh..." Then Sydney and Harry suddenly paused as they turned to look at their two daughters in shock. Alisha and Valicity stood frozen in horror, as an embaressed looking Sydney said, "Oh God." Alisha then covered her eyes as she said, "You're paying for all my therapy bills forever." Then Alisha and Valicity quickly ran out of the room as Sydney and Harry covered their bodies up while looking mortified at what just happened.

Sophia was in her home sitting in front of a computer screen, as she was in the middle of a video call with her friend David. As the two spoke, David said, "Well I'm sorry dating has been tough for you Sophia. But sometimes, you just gotta let go of your fear, and dive in and take a chance." Sophia made a little smile as she said, "Thanks David. And thank you for responding to me so quick." Then David with a warm smile said, "Hey. I told you after college that I wanted us to remain friends, and I meant it." Then Sophia said, "Thanks. So... how is the married life? You and Kathy and the kids doing all right?" David smiled as he said, "Kids are a handful but they're amazing. Me and Kathy meanwhile have just grown in our communication. Plus the sex has been amazing. Man, movies make you think making out when you're young is as hot as it gets, but really: it gets only hotter when you're with the right person and you start getting older together." Then Sophia made a little smile as she said, "Well... I'm glad one of us found some happiness. Wish I had it too though."

Then David said, "Well... maybe you could get a little taste of it. Me and Kathy have been looking for ways to spice up our marriage, and we finally decided to do a three-way for our anniversary next week. We were gonna hire someone online, but if you want, you could join us. I already know that me and you are sexually compatible, and you will go crazy when you see the kind of fun stuff Kathy can do." Then Sophia suddenly looked nervous as she said, "Umm... I'll think about it. I um... I have to go to sleep now but... lets talk again this Monday though. Um... bye." Then Sophia quickly turned off her computer as she had an uncertain look on her face.

Emmy walked into the high school in the morning and was standing near the teacher mailboxes, when Principal Vermani stepped into the room and said, "Miss Mendoza. Can I see you in my office for a moment." Emmy followed Principal Vermani into his office as she said, "Sure. Is everything okay?" As the two sat down, Principal Vermani sat down and said, "Well not exactly. You see... we had a high number of complaints from parents last night and this morning. Apparently many students brought home books from the school library that many parents found offensive." A confused Emmy then said, "What do you mean? How were the books offensive?" Principal Vermani sighed and said, "Most of our parents' complaints were about books that included stories about people wondering if they're gay, texts about religions that differed than what was practiced in their homes, and histories of other countries outside of North America."

A perplexed looking Emmy then said, "But I'm confused. I didn't buy the books for the school library, nor did I encourage any student to pick out any specific book. The assignment was just to learn about people and groups different than themselves. And seriously, when was teaching about the history of other countries ever a crime?" Principal Vermani then held a hand forward and said, "Look, I am on your side Miss Mendoza. I've known you since you were in middle school, and I know you meant no harm, and you didn't break any code of conduct. I'm only telling you this because we all need to always listen to the parents of our students... and because high demand from these parents have called for a school board hearing this afternoon. Now I will speak on behalf of the school, and will defend you, but you need to be prepared... because this is going to get ugly." Emmy looked down and sighed, but then looked up and said, "I understand."

Sydney was sitting at an outdoor cafe while talking on her phone as she said, "So did you talk to the girls this morning?" Then Sydney heard Harry's voice say, "No. I... kind of pretended I was sleeping in and waited till they left for school." Then an upset Sydney said, "Coward. Harry, it's been two days now. We gotta talk to them about what happened at some point." Then an upset Harry said, "Wait. Why didn't you talk to the girls before you left for work?" Then a guilty looking Sydney said, "Well... I might have left super early to avoid talking to them." Harry still sounding upset said, "Coward." Sydney sighed and said, "Look... as a woman, I know it's probably better if I aproach our two girls about this rather than you but... I... I... Oh wait. Sophia is here. Talk to you later honey.""

Sydney then put her phone away as Sophia approached Sydney from nearby and sat in front of her. A smiling Sydney then said, "Hey Sophia. How's it going?" Sophia with a worried look said, "I... I'm in a troubling predicament Syd." A concerned now looking Sydney said, "What? What is it?" Sophia sighed and said, "Well after Olive encouraged me to reconnect with any potential friends I have left, I... called David." Sydney then raised one eyebrow as she said, "You mean the guy from college that you had a complicated relationship with?" Sophia nodded her head and said, "Yeah. Well... you see... I started talking with him and... he invited me to do a little threesome action with him and his wife next week." Sydney's eyes widened as she said, "What? What did you say?"

Sophia with a troubled look said, "I didn't know what to say. I told him that I would talk to him later." Then Sydney with a helpful tone said, "Well Sophia... I mean... you're an adult, so tell me... what do you want?" Sophia turned her head away slightly as she said, "I mean... me and David didn't exactly have a normal relationship in college. We both wanted sex, but I didn't take it any further than that because deep down I knew it wouldn't work out long term between us. Plus it was really messed up how he ended our sexual relationship really abruptly as soon as he met his current wife. But... my God Sydney, I haven't had sex in fifteen years. I miss how it felt. I miss being touched and feeling affection. I... I don't know what to do."

Then Sydney touched Sophia's hand and said, "Hey. It's okay to feel uncertain. Now I personally don't think you should get mixed up in this kind of scenario; especially since you were the one who told me back in high school how sharing your body with people you're not sure really care about you can mess with your mind. But... I also haven't gone without sex as an adult for fifteen years straight before so... I don't know what that can do to you, or how to properly cope with it." A few tears appeared in Sophia's eyes as she said, "My God, I thought I'd have everything figured out by now at this age." Then Sydney said, "Hey. You can be married with kids at this age, and still have no clue what to do when things get tough. Because I sure am experiencing that now." A concerned looking Sophia said, "What do you mean?"

Sydney sighed and then said, "Alisha and Valicity... they... accidentally walked in on me and Harry having some intense sex. We've all been avoiding even looking at each other since." Sophia looked shocked as she said, "Oh dang." A Sydney looked slightly down she said, "I just don't know what to say to them. On one hand, sex should be a private thing between people, and it's very wrong for anyone else to walk in on and watch it. But on the other hand, I want my daughters that are teenagers now to understand that sex is a beautiful thing if it's between consenting adults that are fully aware of what they are doing and what it represents. So do I tell my girls what they saw was a good or bad thing?" Then Sophia with a plain expression said, "Just tell them both." Sydney suddenly had a look of clarity on her face as she said, "That's it."

At a school board meeting several parents were taking turns talking into a microphone placed at a podium. Principal Vermani sat at a table facing the parents, as Emmy sat nervously near him. As one angry woman stood at the microphone, she said, "So I catch my daughter in her bedroom last night reading some book about some woman who became a lesbian when she was younger. I know that it is unlawful and against the Constitution for any school to be turning my girl into a lesbian. What next? You gonna be teaching her to have anal sex?" Then a man stood up to the microphone and said, "I lead a Christian household, and I find my son coming home with a book explaining the Quran. I send my son to school to learn to be smart. Now how to learn to be Muslim." Then another man stood up and said, "Why is my kid coming home with a book about Chinese culture? This isn't a Chinese school. This is an American school. They should be learning only about America!"

Then Principal Vermani stood up and said, "We thank our parents for attending this meeting and showing an interest in their children's education. I would like to emphasize though that no ill intention was meant on the staff of my school. All of the books in our school library have always been approved by the district committee, and parents should be aware that a library containing books about different cultures, other countries, and gender identity have been a norm for a very long time in our public school system. However as what was previously said in our statement given to the press this morning, our head school librarian has always made it a policy to never encourage our students what to read, but rather that they should simply learn about all types of people and cultures different than themselves in the pursuit of knowledge and higher education." Then one parent in the audience yelled, "Cut the lies! This is culture war!" Then another parent yelled, "You want to teach our children how America isn't the best country in the world!" Then another parent stood up and screamed, "You want to turn all our kids gay and end families as God intended!" Then another parent jumped up yelling, "You want to destroy our families and our beliefs and we won't allow it!"

Then Emmy grabbed a microphone and stood up as she said, "Okay, listen up. My name is Miss Mendoza, the school librarian you're all mad it. Look, what I'm about to say may get me fired but you all need to stop this stupid prejudice-filled game you've all been playing my entire life. All of you constantly harass people who are queer, who aren't Christian, or are of a minority that don't share the exact same values as you. And whenever we try to share our stories and our beliefs peacefully, you play victim and cry disrespect, but without showing ANY respect yourselves. You blame us for having a negative influence on your children, but remember: you as parents are the greatest influence on your child. You spend more time with them than we do, and no one is stopping you from teaching your values, your ideals, and your faith based beliefs to your kids. But maybe you're mad because you just expect us to do the parenting job for you, considering most children spend less than ten minutes a day on average even talking to their parents now. And if you don't like the different religions, cultures, and types of families your children are learning about, THEN DO BETTER! Because while you're all complaining about how bad queer marriages are, half of all straight marriages still end in divorce. You want to save traditional marriage and the traditional family and make them look appealing again? Then stop tearing down queer families and start repairing your own! And for all you Christians that think other religions are pulling your kids out of churches; well maybe parents, you should actually try acting like Jesus for once and show how loving thy neighbor actually looks like, because shouting hate talk and defending political candidates more than Christ ain't exactly helping your image. Plus, all of you are constantly obsessed with what's going on in the schools, in the courts, in the White House, and basically everywhere else in the world except your home. You all are so obsessed with getting everyone else in society to do their job right, but the most important place where the world is improved is in your home when you are with your kids. So instead of setting a bad example to your kids by spewing hate talk here, go home and DO BETTER!" Then Emmy dropped the microphone and walked straight out of the room.

Sophia sat in front of her computer as she was in the middle of a video call with David. As David sat with a smile he said, "So you interested in doing a little three-way action with me and Kathy next weekend?" Sophia sighed and said, "I don't know. You do know I had regrets having sex with guys I was with before. I just don't know want to feel that sense of regret again." Then David said, "Hey. It's your choice. But you only live once. Can't let fear control you. But anyway, hopefully Kathy feels good by then though. She's a little sick. We think it might be the flu or something." A concerned looking Sophia then said, "Oh no. Well did she get her flu shot recently?" Then David said, "Nah. Me and her don't believe in getting shots or vaccines or anything like that." Then a shocked looking Sophia said, "But David... vaccines save lives. It's like wearing a seat belt. You have to show some caution in life." Then David casually said, "Hey. Death either gets you or it doesn't. Like I said: can't let fear control you."

Then Sophia looking more upset now said, "But... I'm not talking about fear. I'm talking about caution. Caution and fear are two VERY different things. Caution is preparing for a possible undesired outcome and doing what you can to deal with it. Fear is dreading an undesired outcome and doing little to nothing about it, or just dreading something very unlikely. Caution usually involves what you can reasonably control for more likely scenarios." Then David casually said, "Well... too much of either of those things can ruin your life." Then Sophia with certainty said, "But not enough caution can be even worse. And to be honest with you David... I didn't think you're being that cautious about many potential negative consequences to your actions... including the potential undesired physical, mental, and emotional consequences that can come from choosing to partake in a threesome... which I won't. So... goodbye David." Then Sophia turned off her computer, and then leaned back in her chair as she closed her eyes and had a sad expression on her face.

Alisha and Valicity sat in Alisha's bedroom looking at books, when Sydney stepped in and said, "Hey girls." Alisha then buried her head in her book as she said, "I'm not looking at you." Valicity meanwhile kept her eyes not focused on Sydney as she sat still. Sydney sighed and said, "Look... I'm not mad at either of you. Me and your father should've locked the door, and we shouldn't have made so much... confusing noises. However what you both saw... was both wrong and right. Now it's wrong to walk in on any couple having sex. It's a private time for just the involved individuals and nobody else, and I don't want you two ever to intentionally watch anyone else doing it. But what was good about what you saw was... what you saw me and your father partake in... it's a wonderful experience that is truly meant to be between two people that love each other very much and intend to spend the rest of their lives together, and no one else. It's beautiful and amazing and it's something I hope you two both experience yourselves one day when you're older and ready. And if you're feeling confused on whether you're ready or not, remember you can always talk to me, or Aunt Sophia, or Grandma..."

Then Alisha put her book down and looked at Sydney as she said, "We get it mom. But don't worry. You turned us off from doing it for a long time!" Sydney then said, "Oh. So... do you have any other questions or anything else to say?" Alisha and Valicity remained quiet. Sydney sighed and said, "Okay." Then Sydney was about to step out of the room when Valicity said, "Hey mom. It's you and dad's wedding anniversary next weekend. We were thinking as a gift... that we could go to Aunt Sophia's place all weekend and give you and dad some alone time around the house." Sydney then smiled and made a little giggle as she said, "Thanks girls. That sounds like a nice gift."

Emmy and Olive sat in the living room of their home with worried faces. As Emmy looked into empty space she said, "I am so getting fired. I should not have spoken out like that." Then Olive held Emmy's hand and said, "You spoke from the heart Emmy. And the things you said weren't a knee jerk reaction. It's how you've felt your whole life." Then Emmy heard her phone ring. Emmy then answered the phone, putting it on speaker phone, as she said, "Yes?" Emmy then heard Principal Vermani say, "Hello Miss Mendoza. Well... I must say you certainly riled some people up today." Emmy sighed and said, "Listen sir, I know I totally spoke out of turn and went on a long angry rant direct at the parents and I am ready to accet the consequences to my actions." Then Principal Vermani said, "Well you certainly angered many parents more with your words, and that fueled up fire is now partially because of you. However... while your words may have not influenced the parents... it did influence the school board to double down on not giving into the demands of the angry minority, and have re-asserted in a recent public statement that they will not be banning any books from our school library at any point in the foreseeable future. You may not find yourself to be invited to speak at any school board meetings ever again, but you are still invited to come back to work tomorrow morning."

A few tears appeared in Emmy's eyes as she said, "Thank you Principal Vermani." Then as Emmy turned off her phone, Bary walked into the room and said, "Mom. Check it out. You're the number one thing trending online right now." Emmy looked confused as she said, "What?" Then as Barry sat next to Emmy he said, "Well after I changed my settings to feature only what's being posted in this county. But look at all of this stuff people are posting. Like hundreds of people from school are making posts calling you the coolest teacher of all time, and the video of you talking from the school board meeting has so many views and a ton of likes." Emmy with a surprised look said, "Wow. I... I don't believe it." Then Barry look at Emmy as he said, "You know... you're still a totally embarrassing mom at times. But... you do care about me and spend time with me, and help lots of other people too, so... that does kind of... make you a pretty awesome mom too." Then Emmy smiled as she hugged Barry and said, "I'll take that over a million likes any day."

THE END

*Author's Note - Welcome to our brand new series focused on the Four Amigas from Sydney to the Max all grown up. For those that didn't know, this series is actually a continuation of my Sydney to the Max Season 4 project, Sydney to the Max Season 5 project, and Sydney to the Max: The College Years project. While you do not have to read those stories to enjoy this one, those stories do give more context to this one, and do explain how all of the main characters you know of got married and had their kids.

But now begins a new journey full of fun thought provoking stories. Upcoming episodes will be posted at infrequent times (basically whenever I feel like it, have a good story idea, and have free time). However if any of you would like to contribute new stories and/or new story ideas to this project, just message me and we'll see what we can get going. Lets work together and have some fun with what we can do next.
