Disclaimer: I don't own Witch hunter Robin or any of its characters. If I did, I would make sure Robin and Amon would end together now wouldn't I?
Although this isn't my first fic, it is my number one Witch Hunter Robin story. Enjoy.
I know it's very short but bear with me. ) I'm wondering if I should just leave it as this or add a couple more chapters on 9if I decide to add, I promise the other chapters will be longer). Tell me please.
Rain.
The rain had always calmed her to some certain extent; however, at that moment it did nothing to slow the pounding of her heart. Some distant from her, Touko walked silently by Amon, leaving Robin thoroughly numbed. What were they doing together? Were they… lovers?
The two had disappeared beyond her view quite quickly; something alike a dagger dug into her flesh.
"Amon…" Barely a whisper, her gloved fingers release the umbrella into the furious river below. The damn thing didn't matter. Not right now.
Crystal rivulets scorched as they trailed down from her emerald eyes. Cold digits reached up and touched the shameful droplets. He could never feel that way for her.
Robin's legs moved automatically, slowly making their way to their destination; home. Did she love him? Was that she was feeling? Somewhere in herself, she already knew the answer.
The glow of a familiar convenience store cast over her features. Her hair matted against her scalp with the assistance of the moisture that had connected to her skin. Out of the blue, she thudded against a hard body.
"Sorry." Not even looking up, her apology was scarcely audible. Robin would have kept walking if not a hand had shot out and grabbed her.
"Robin?" Staring upwards, she found herself drowning in dark irises. Amon. "What are you doing?"
Suddenly realizing he had spoken, her words fell oddly together. Then another something bit her, he was only there because had been walking Touko home. "I-I am walking. Home…"
"I will walk you there then." For awhile, they walked in mute. Without warning, a loud thunder boomed across the sky. The on-coming downpour increased in vigour.
"We should hurry before you catch a cold." His hand grasped hers and sudden burst of warmth surged thru her. Footsteps splashed the many puddles in sync. As they reached the apartments, Robin noticed he didn't let go even as they slowed to a walk. But all things come to an end.
In one quick second, her arm fell back to her side. She faced him as she stood on the steps. "Thank you for walking me home."
"Be at work tomorrow." Was all he replied before turning and dissipating into the drizzle. She peered down at her palm, Amon's presence still lingered in the air as well as his impression on her heart and hand.
The rain had always calmed her to some certain extent; however, at that moment it did nothing to slow the pounding of her heart.
I know... it's REALLY short. tell me if I should find some way to continue this -.-
