A Normal Life

Ch. 1

Kikyo looked at the soul she held in her un-dead hands. 'So beautiful, life is.' She secretly longed for life again, not to have Inu Yasha. She really didn't care anymore about the damned hanyou. Just to feel again, to be free. Ever since she was brought back to life (if you could call her pathetic existence life) by Urasue she felt nothing but hate. And it was the girl's fault. Kagome her name was. When the girl called back her soul from her she left nothing but hate. That's why everyone likes her so much better. That's Kikyo's personality! It's Kikyo that Inu Yasha cares for so much! 'Just my better half.' She thought.

That's why Kikyo was always trying to kill the "Kagome" girl. 'They all think I want Inu Yasha to love me again. Ha!" Was she ever really in love with the filthy half breed at all? She'd never know until the girl was dead. When she could have back the rest of her soul and continue where she left off with her life. She could live as if she'd never died at all. And she wouldn't have to worry about the jewel either. She had to admit the hanyou had been very useful. The baka had actually planned on using the jewel to become human. Hahaha! No, wait! She HAD to stop thinking like that! She might truly be in love with him! But again she'll never find out until the girl was dead. "The stupid little bitch did this to me on purpose!" she yelled into the sky. From that moment on Kikyo vowed that Kagome would die. Not so Kikyo could have Inu Yasha. Just so she could have the one thing she'd always wanted: a normal life.
