"Wh-What did you say?" Monty's eyes went wide. His mind was sent reeling at the bear's comment.

"You heard me," Freddy said, taking a step forward. "I know what happened, I know what you did."

"I-I didn't…" Monty tried to recall the events from that night. Even now, they were hazy and diluted. "He was… My friend."

"Don't lie to me Monty, you were jealous of him. You ripped him apart, just to try and move up the ladder." Freddy continued walking forwards, his words cutting like daggers.

Monty couldn't believe it. He didn't want to believe it. Bonnie was his friend, arguably his best friend.

He tried to scrounge up any sort of memory that could disprove what the bear was telling him. He never wanted to hurt anyone, he just… Felt frustrated.

At this point, Freddy was standing right in front of him, he gave the gator a small smirk. "Having some trouble, Gator?" He said, placing his hand on Monty's head "Here, let me help."

All at once, Monty felt a painful jolt run through his entire body. He screamed out in agony as all of a sudden he began experiencing a flood of memories, previously locked away but now brought to the forefront.

Before his eyes, Monty saw flashes of himself. He saw the moment he tore into Bonnie, scattering his pieces across the floor. He saw himself fly into a rage inside his own green room, ripping into anything he could reach. He saw himself land on Evan's body, crushing him with his metal form, the crowd surrounding them screaming in horror.

Monty fell to his knees, as he recalled every painful detail. Everytime he hurt those he cared about. Everytime he scared innocent children. Everytime he ruined something just on a whim.

Freddy looked down at the paralyzed gator, and smirked. He picked up Monty by the neck and lifted him into the air. Monty grabbed onto Freddy's arm, as the bear looked at him dead in the eyes.

"You've never caused anything but pain, you know that." Freddy said. "Everything you touch, you break. Everyone you know, you hurt." Every word the bear said, Monty couldn't bring himself to argue with.

"If you even felt a smidgen of regret for all of the damage you've done, you'll let me do what needs to be done. What should have been done the day you killed Bonnie." Freddy said, his face devoid of any emotion other than pure unfiltered rage.

Monty winced, staring into the bear's fury. He didn't know what to say, if there was anything at all he could say. He let go of Freddy's arm, closing his eyes and hanging limp in his grasp.

Freddy held Monty up high and opened up his chest panel, exposing his endoskeleton. "This will be for the best." He said coldly as reached for Monty's internal wiring and…

Clang!

…For just a moment, Monty felt weightless. As if he was floating in an infinite expanse of nothingness, finally unable to hurt anyone ever again. That was until he hit the ground.

Monty's eyes shot open, as he could see Freddy recoiling. He quickly checked his wiring, to find that it was all still intact. He breathed a sigh of relief, before turning his attention to the bear.

Freddy stood back up straight. There was a sizable dent in the side of his head, which he rubbed before looking down at the object that hit him. It was a glittery red guitar.

"What?!" Freddy exclaimed, stunned at the attack.

Monty stared at the guitar, he knew who it belonged to, but it would be impossible for them to have thrown it. While both of them were staring at the guitar, a voice from behind Monty spoke, snapping him out of his stunned silence.

"Personally, I didn't want to get involved with this, but your friend made a convincing argument to help out." The figure behind him said, the voice unfamiliar to Monty.

Monty spun around, only to look up and see something that didn't make sense to him. It was another bear animatronic, but it didn't look like Freddy. This bear was golden, and seemed to have sharper claws and red eyes.

"Wh-Who are you?" Monty asked, struggling to keep up with what was happening now.

Freddy had a far more aggressive reaction to the strange bear. "You!"

He immediately rushed forward and attempted to punch the strange golden bear. But failed as they swiveled around and slammed Freddy into the ground.

"Call me Goldie." The bear said, looking back at Monty. "Your friend here, he's not himself, right?"

"Um… I-I don't think so?" Monty stammered out, still confused by everything.

"He better not be!" A voice from above said. Monty felt he recognized this voice. But, it couldn't be who he thought it was.

Freddy pulled himself back up, staring daggers into Goldie. "Cassidy! I thought I escaped you when I-" He shouted before taking a kick from Goldie.

"Shut up. You think I'd just let you get away? You're stupider than you look if you think that I'd just sit by." Goldie mocked.

Freddy got back on his feet and backed up. "And you're stupid if you think this changes anything. All you've managed to do is make yourself another target that I get the privilege of checking off." He said with a smirk.

"Now, care to introduce me to your hidden friend?" The bear gestured to the rafters. "I know it couldn't be… Him. So who did you drag along?"

Goldie shook her head. "No one you're familiar with I'm afraid, but that's not what you should be concerned with now."

Goldie ran forward and swung, but Freddy caught her punch and threw her to the side. "Without an element of surprise, you're still just a child."

Monty stood up, not being one to let others fight his battles, he took a fighting stance and bared his teeth at the bear.

Freddy turned his attention back to him. "Oh? The pathetic freak is back, and he looks pretty angry."

Monty ran forward, as Freddy braced for impact. Ducking to the side, Monty maneuvered himself behind Freddy. He locked his arms under the bear's shoulders, pulling him off of his feet.

"Let go, you moron!" Freddy exclaimed.

Goldie got back up, and seeing a perfect opportunity, ran up to Freddy and placed her hands on his head. Goldie closed her eyes and focused as Freddy began screaming.

"Don't touch me! Stop it!" He shouted angrily as his eyes began to flash rapidly.

After a few moments, Freddy went completely limp in Monty's arms. He carefully set him down and looked up at Goldie. "What did-"

"I freed him from Malhare's will." Goldie says sharply. "I hope this doesn't complicate things."

She sighs deeply as Monty looks back at Freddy, he seemed to have sustained a bit of a beating, especially the dent in his head.

Monty's attention snapped back to the guitar and the voice. He looked up into the rafters but couldn't see anyone or anything up there. Then he heard a side door open.

He looked towards the door, and his mind came to a screeching halt. His mouth hung wide as he wondered if his eyes were playing tricks on him. Behind the door was a large purple bunny animatronic.

The only thing he could stammer out as he got to his feet was a single word. "B-Bonnie?"

The purple rabbit held out his arms. "Guilty as charged."

Monty couldn't contain himself, he sprinted towards the rabbit, practically crashing into him as he hugged him tightly. "I thought you were… Dead. That… That I killed you." Monty sobbed.

"I…" Bonnie paused for a moment, before returning the hug. "I'm okay Monty, everything's going to be ok."

Goldie glared at Bonnie and Monty before standing up. "Your friend here needs a few repairs. I may have locked up his software."

Bonnie looked over at Freddy. "I can fix that back at maintenance. We should take him back there now."

Monty let go of Bonnie, and looked back at the bears. "Right. We can fix Freddy up and then have our reunion for real." He said, striking a more confident pose.

"Alright, up we go." Bonnie said, walking over to Glamrock Freddy and hoisting his arm over his shoulder. With some aid from Goldie, Bonnie was able to drag Freddy with him out of Monty Golf, and back into the atrium.

"Wait," Monty says. "Maintenance was overrun. It isn't safe there anymore."

"Don't worry, we'll be fine with the three of us." Bonnie said with a smirk.

The trio descended into maintenance. Monty noticed that the place was a bit messier than he had left it. He remembered that N had a fight with one of the beasts down here.

As Bonnie and Goldie set Freddy down in the cylinder, Monty decided to have a look around. He was hoping to find N, or what was left of him. To his surprise, he found the monster disassembled, with no sign of the endoskeleton anywhere.

Monty jogged back to the others. "Hey, you two, there's something I need to tell ya."

Bonnie and Goldie looked up at Monty as he explained. "There was this endoskeleton we called N, when one of those… Things showed up, he distracted it while I brought Evan to a more secure place. I think he's still active."

Bonnie and Goldie exchanged looks.

"W-Well, I'm sure we'll meet up with him again later Monty." Bonnie said, feigning optimism. "In the meantime, can you help us with…" Bonnie's voice trailed off as the elevator activated once again.

Goldie and Monty readied themselves for another fight, but when the doors opened, Monty was surprised to see Roxanne, Chica, and Foxy.

"Chica needs help." Roxy said before noticing the golden bear. "Who is that?"

"We… Have some explaining to do." Bonnie said, as Roxy suddenly noticed his presence in the room.

"B-Bonnie?" She asked, hardly believing what she was seeing.

"I think you better sit down." Bonnie said, preparing to catch the others up on the situation.
