A bright light appears in the Council Chambers, and suddenly, people appear, among them, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Mace Windu, Yoda, Luminara Unduli, Quinlan Vos, Aayla Secure, Ki-Adi Mundi, Kit Fisto, Depa Billaba, Plo Koon, Cody, Rex, Padme Amidala, Satine Kryze, Bail Organa, Vokara Che, and Shaak Ti.
"What happened?!" Anakin asks his head all fuzzy.
"You all have been transported to the Council Chambers to watch the future." A voice says and immediately all the Force users in the room feel it as the Force."
"Isn't that bad, showing us our future?" Quinlan asks, confused.
"Normally yes, but the future you guys will come to know is full of sadness and suffering. I will be showing you the future through a holo called Obi-Wan Kenobi. After I have shown you the events that will take place, I can only hope you all can right the wrongs of this universe."
"Cool, Obi, you get your own holo." Quinlan says, bumping Obi-Wan's shoulder who looks at him annoyed. Cushions appear in the chambers, and they all move to sit down. Satine goes to sit with Obi-Wan, who is surrounded by Anakin, Ahsoka, Padme, Bail, Vokara, Quinlan, Cody, Rex, and Mace, everybody else sits on the other side of the chamber. The holo starts to play and everyone watches.
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…
Mace: You refer to the prophecy of the one who will bring balance to the Force.
"Hey, that's Master Kenobi when he was younger." Ahsoka points out.
"Yes, and without the beard." Satine says and Obi-Wan blushes.
Mace: You believe it's this boy?
"That's the pod race I won." Anakin says smiling.
Qui-Gon: Anakin Skywalker, meet Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The scene changes to the nighttime of Coruscant.
Yoda: Clouded this boy's future is.
Obi-Wan: The boy is dangerous. They all sense it. Why can't you?
Obi-Wan tells his Master as they walk up the steps of the Temple.
Yoda: An apprentice you have, Qui-Gon. Impossible to take on a second.
Yoda tells Qui-Gon as they discuss the prophecy.
Qui-Gon: Obi-Wan is ready.
Obi-Wan: I am ready to face the trials.
The scene changes to a red Zabrak who wields his two-bladed red saber.
"Maul." Obi-Wan mumbles, his eyes sad.
Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan both wield their lightsabers and take on Maul together. Obi-Wan runs through closing shields as his Master fights Maul alone, Qui-Gon's voice is heard in the background.
Qui-Gon: You've been a good apprentice, Obi-Wan.
Obi-Wan gets stuck behind the red shields and is forced to watch his Master get stabbed by Maul. Obi-Wan screams no as his Master drops to the floor.
Obi-Wan looks away as he is forced to watch the death of his Master.
The shields turn off and Obi-Wan rushes through and takes on Maul himself, he cuts Maul in half, and he falls down a shaft.
Qui-Gon: I foresee you will become a great Jedi Knight.
His voice is heard in the background. Obi-wan shuts off his saber and rushes to his fallen Master, taking his head in his lap.
Qui-Gon: Obi-Wan. Promise me you will train the boy.
Obi-Wan: Yes, Master.
Satine looks sadly at Obi-Wan, realizing how young he sounded when he said that she sees his hand shaking and grabs it, Obi-Wan looks at her and squeezes her hand.
Qui-Gon: He will bring balance.
Qui-Gon speaks his last words and then dies as Obi-Wan holds him.
"That's all he said to you. To train me? That's it?" Anakin asks, shocked. How do you train someone for years and not even leave them with a goodbye?
"It's fine, Anakin. That was a long time ago." Obi-Wan states.
"If you died, I'm sure you'd leave me with heartwarming words and if I died, I would tell Ahsoka I was proud of her." Anakin argues.
"It's fine, lets's continue watching." Obi-Wan says, uncomfortable at the moment. Anakin moves to the counter, but Padme gently tugs his arm shaking her head no.
The scene changes to Obi-Wan kneeling in front of Yoda and then changes again to the burning pyre of Qui-Gon.
Obi-Wan: Master Yoda, I gave Qui-Gon my word
Yoda: Your apprentice Skywalker will be.
The scene changes to an older Anakin looking at an older Obi-Wan as they smile at each other. It changes again to Obi-Wan falling from the sky and Anakin driving a speeder, who still has his Padawan braid.
Obi-Wan and Anakin let out a laugh as they remember this mission,
Obi-Wan: What took you so long?
The scene changes once more to Obi-Wan defending himself from the bolts fired by Jango Fett. Anakin's voice is heard in the background.
Anakin: Obi-Wan is a great mentor. As wise as Master Yoda and as powerful as Master Windu.
"Why thank you, Anakin." Obi-Wan says laughing.
"I wouldn't say as powerful though." Mace mutters and Depa shoulders him.
The scene changes to Anakin talking with the Chancellor.
Palpatine: You are the most gifted Jedi I have ever met.
"Clearly he hasn't gotten to know you yet." Ahsoka says, smirking.
"Come on, Snips!" Anakin groans.
The scene changes to Padme wearing a wedding gown and her and Anakin holding hands as the sun sets.
The room goes quiet before it erupts into chaos.
"Great, now I owe Rex credits." Cody complains as he hands Rex some of his credits.
Yoda grumbles and hands a few to Obi-Wan. "Knew they were together I did but married, I did not."
"Well, I am his Master." Obi-Wan says and hands his credits to Cody as he has no use for them.
"Wait? You guys knew the whole time?!" Anakin exclaims.
"Oh please, the two of you were never subtle, my fried," Obi-Wan says.
The scene changes to Anakin riding a speeder bike and Palpatine can be heard in the background.
Palpatine: I see you becoming the greatest of all the Jedi.
"I think Palpatine needs to see a doctor, there is clearly something wrong with him." Ahsoka snickers and Rex gives her a fist bump.
"Rude, Snips. Just rude." Anakin complains.
The scene changes to Padme and Anakin inside her bedroom.
Anakin: I feel lost.
Padme: Lost? What do you mean?
The scene changes to Anakin kneeling in front of a tombstone.
Anakin: I'm not the Jedi I should be. I want more. And I know I shouldn't.
The scene changes once more to the Senate building, Palpatine is seen walking with Anakin.
Anakin: How do you know the ways of the Force?
Palpatine: My mentor taught me everything about the Force.
"Holdup, mentor? Senators don't have mentors who teach them the Force!" Mace states, bothered by where this is going.
"Kenobi did claim that Dooku said there was a Sith in the Senate." Kit states.
"Palpatine could be the Sith we're looking for." Obi-Wan agrees.
"We can't just jump to conclusions." Anakin protests.
Palpatine: Even the nature of the Darkside. Only through me can you achieve a power greater than any Jedi.
"He really is the Sith." Luminara mumbles.
"Oh Force, I've been letting you see him since you were a child." Obi-Wan says, his eyes wide.
"You didn't know." Anakin whispers, too surprised by his own revelations.
The scene changes to a flashback showing Padme in pain.
Padme: I can't.
Obi-Wan: Don't give up, Padme.
The flashback fades away in a multitude of colors.
"What's wrong with Padme?!" Anakin asks, alarmed.
Palpatine: The power to save Padme.
The scene changes to Anakin and Padme once more.
Anakin: I found a way to save you.
"No, Anakin, please no." Obi-Wan pleads, shaking his head,
Yoda: Twisted by the dark side young Skywalker has become.
The scene changes to Obi-Wan looking at a holo of Anakin kneeling to Palpatine.
"Master!" Ahsoka shouts. Yoda looks at Anakin sadly.
The scene changes to Obi-Wan and an army of clones storming the Temple. Yoda's voice can be heard in the background.
Yoda: The boy you trained; gone he is.
Obi-Wan: I will not kill Anakin.
The scene changes once more to Anakin charging Obi-Wan, surrounded by lava.
Obi-Wan looks at the screen horrified.
"We can change this! I won't turn!" Anakin shouts desperately as he watches the duel.
Anakin: This is the end for you, my Master.
"Please, Obi-Wan. You have to kill me; you can't let me kill you!" Anakin pleads to the screen.
Obi-Wan: I have failed you, Anakin. I have failed you.
"It's true." Obi-Wan says and Satine comforts him.
"No, Obi-Wan, you didn't. You aren't responsible for my choices." Anakin reassures.
"I let Palpatine groom you! I was supposed to protect you as your Master, and I practically gave you away to the Sith!" Obi-Wan states.
"We didn't know, Obi-Wan. You can't blame yourself for that. But by seeing this now, we can change it!" Anakin exclaims.
The scene changes to Obi-Wan on a hill and Anakin below him.
Obi-Wan: It's over, Anakin. I have the high ground.
"What's so special about the high ground?" Quinlan asks.
"Because it's high?" Obi-Wan says, unsure.
"Maul had the high ground and you still beat him." Quinlan counters, Obi-Wan looks at him and then turns back to the screen and just stares.
Anakin: You underestimate my power.
"No, Ani!" Padme shouts and clings to her husband.
Anakin jumps and Obi-Wan slices off his arm and legs.
Obi-Wan: You were the Chosen One! It was said that you would destroy the Sith not join them!
Obi-Wan looks at the screen horrified by what he did. Padme and Ahsoka hide their heads in Anakin's shoulder, horrified at the sight of Anakin on fire. Anakin quickly puts his hands on his legs, making sure they're still there.
Obi-Wan walks away leaving Anakin on the lava bank. Palpatine and two troopers come into view and look down at the burning Anakin.
Palpatine: He's still alive.
The scene changes to Anakin on a table as he is fitted with legs and a black suit. Obi-Wan's voice can be heard in the background.
Obi-Wan: You were my brother, Anakin!
"I'm so sorry, Anakin." Obi-Wan says, his voice breaking as tears slip down his eyes.
"No, Obi-Wan. You had to do what you had to do. I wasn't the Anakin you knew anymore." Anakin says.
"Skywalker, right he is. Overtaken by the dark side, he already was." Yoda gravely states.
Palpatine: You shall be known as Darth Vader.
"What kind of Sith name is that!" Mace states.
"A garbage one!" Quinlan huffs.
The scene changes to Padme laying on a table with Obi-Wan holding a baby and a droid holding another baby.
Padme: Obi-Wan? There's good in him.
"Wait a minute, we have a baby?" Anakin exclaims.
"We have twins!" Padme states.
The scene changes to Vader who is now being stood upright by the med table.
Palpatine: Rise.
The scene changes to a gloomy day on Naboo, with hundreds of lanterns lit. Padme is in a coffin, as she is being led to her tomb. Yoda's voice can be heard in the background.
Yoda: Hidden, safe the children must be kept.
Obi-Wan: We must take them somewhere where the Sith will not sense their presence.
The scene changes to a conference room where Bail, Yoda, and Obi-Wan are speaking.
Bail: My wife and I will take the girl. We've always talked of adopting a baby girl.
The scene changes to Bail and Breha holding the baby in the palace; Padme's voice is heard.
Padme: Leia.
"I'm glad you guys will be the ones to raise her." Padme says, smiling at Bail.
"I think we would take good care of her in the future." Bail states.
Obi-Wan: And what of the boy?
Padme: Luke.
Yoda: To Tatooine. To his family send him.
Obi-Wan: I will take the child and watch over him.
Yoda: In your solitude… training I have for you. Your old master. How to commune with him I will teach you.
The screen goes black as the scene finishes.
"Qui-Gon? How?" Obi-Wan asks Yoda.
"Know I do not. Possible to not fully pass onto the Force it is, Qui-Gon studied while alive he did, must have found a way to do so, he did." Yoda states,
"You're going to be staying on Tatooine!" Anakin exclaims. "Do you know how dangerous that is?!"
"Well, I am protecting your son." Obi-Wan replies.
"Yeah, it's still dangerous though." Anakin huffs.
"What Ani means to say is thank you." Padme says and Anakin rolls his eyes.
"Is that all of the holo?" Plo curiously asks.
"No, merely a recap this was. Ten years into the future the holo will show you now."
