You like to get DRUNK? Don't 'e?

Forged in the clouds of heaven where the halos are

NO, THE FLAMES OF HELL WHERE THE TRIDENTS ARE

There was once a young lad named Roland. He was the son of the innkeeper. Roland Grant was a very playful boy. He liked to play bowling and stay at the inn. The inn could be a bit noisy but Roland liked it. The innkeeper was Ku Grant. Ku Grant had an untidy beard. It was all tangled and gray. Ku was usually drunk in the inn. Roland did not have a lot of friends. He did not go to school. Roland was a very uneducated boy. He didn't even know the ABC's! Roland liked to talk with grown-ups and to play. He had a pet parrot named Chung. Chung was a very nice bird. He would talk jokes in the inn and he usually talked funny stuff. Sometimes he used curses, though. But Roland just loved him. The two would go out onto the porch and chase each other. Bright feathers would be found on the porch everyday. The inn was small and musty. It was creaking and old. But still people liked to visit that place. Roland and Ku Grant lived in the inn. Roland didn't know who his mother was, and he didn't care. Ku would walk around the dark hallways with a candle in one hand and a crowbar in the other. If a robber was attempting to rob him, SMACK would go the bar across the person's back. Roland also walked with his father. "You like to get drunk? Don't 'e?" his parrot would caw.

One night his father and him were creeping along the stairs when the heard a crash. The hurried up the stairs until a pair of gruff hands grabbed Father Grant across his neck. The blade of the night sparkled with the moon's light. He could smell his sour breath. "You die, I live." He was drunk. The knife was almost going to slice across when a voice said "you like to get drunk? Don't 'e? Well there's a few glasses of 'e fire whiskey for ya!" The man stopped and dropped Father Grant, "where?" he hissed. Then SMACK went the bar…

Roland's parrot was famous. Everybody liked it. Three cheers for Roland and Chung!

THE END!
