So, here we go again. Fair warning, this is the only chapter I have written so far so updates will be few and far between. Also the title and summary may change depending on how the writing goes. This may end up being a short story before the larger story...then again it may not lol.

Draco groaned and shifted around in his chair, trying to get comfortable. It was getting more and more difficult as the months had gone by. Leaning his head back Draco closed his eyes and tried to focus on something besides the pain radiating from his back and hips.

"Heir Malfoy," Jarvis' voice broke through Draco's meditating. "Are you alright? My sensors indicate you are in a heightened state of discomfort."

Smiling, Draco shifted again. He was glad that Clint had convinced him to just move into the tower. Tony had given them an entire floor, complete with a balcony garden just for Lucky. Having Jarvis around also made things easier on Draco as his pregnancy went by. "That's one way of putting it Jarvis, but I think I'm fine."

"Would you like for me to call someone for you?"

Hearing the worry in Jarvis' voice Draco had to smile. "That's okay Jarvis. I'm fine."

"I must insist Draco." Jarvis using his name made the wizard pause. Jarvis never used anyone's name (other than Harry and Jamie) unless it was especially important. "My scans are indicating that you are in labour. I have already contacted Lords Prince and Malfoy along with Agent Malfoy and Harry. They shall be here shortly. Would you also like me to contact anyone else?"

"Are you sure Jarvis?"

"I believe so. Though your magic does tend to interfere with my scanners. Lord Prince did tell me which signs to watch for and you are showing all of them."

"Well, in that case," Draco had to pause as he was racked with pain. "Jarvis, can you let the rest of the family know, but maybe not have them all swarming our floor right away."

"Very good Heir Malfoy. Your fathers have arrived through the floo and are on their way to you now. Agent Malfoy is also at the tower and making his way up to you."

Jarvis had barely finished speaking when Lucius and Severus rushed in. Draco had to smother a laugh at the panicked look on his father's face. Thankfully, Severus was the essence of calm. "Can you stand Draco?"

"I think so," Draco gratefully accepted Severus' hand and allowed his dad to pull him up. Together the two men slowly made their way to the room they had prepared for the birthing.

"Lucius," Severus called over his shoulder. "Stay here and wait for Clint and calm yourself down before you even think of joining us." Severus paused a moment then turned back to look at his husband. "Perhaps it would be best if you just wait out here. You'd only get in the way with your pacing."

"Please don't make me laugh," Draco laughed as he cried out with pain.

"Let's get you settled love. Your child wants to come out and meet you." Gently Severus helped Draco get changed and into bed just in time for Clint to come rushing in.

"Babe! Are you alright? What can I do?"

"Clint," Severus said quietly. "It would be best for you to climb onto the bed behind Draco and hold his hands. That way you can help him push."

Out in the living room, Lucius was pacing and worrying. He couldn't stop himself from thinking about all the times Narcissa had gone through this, only to be greeted with pain and heartbreak. His worry was doubled by the fact that Draco was male and as much as he loved Clint as a son, the man was a muggle and had no magic to give. Draco had been pulling on Lucius' magic for most of his pregnancy, on rare occasions, Draco had even pulled magic from Severus, Harry, and Steve.

"You okay Dad?" Harry asked making Lucius jump.

"Oh. Yes, just worried is all. Narcissa had a difficult time with her pregnancies and with Draco being unable to pull on Clint's magic…"

"I get it," Steve wrapped his free arm around Harry, pulling him close while gently bouncing Sarah in the other. "But we were all able to give Draco the magic he needed, and Severus knows what he's doing. They'll all be fine."

A few minutes later the rest of the family joined them. "So," Tony said as he watched Lucius pacing. "The newest member of the Avengers is on its way. This calls for a celebration. Jarvis?"

"Right away Sir."

"Tony," Harry lightly scolded with a fond smile. "What are you planning?"

"Jarvis is ordering food and drink for us. This way we don't have to cook."

Harry smiled at his brother, grateful for his forward thinking. "Thanks, Tony." Harry looked around the room at all the stressed-out faces. "Jarvis, would you mind putting something on for us. At the very least for background noise."

"Of course, Harry."

Harry walked over to Steve and wrapped his arms around his husband's shoulders, mindful of their daughter napping against her father's chest. "I'm going to check up on Draco. See if Severus needs my help."

"Okay. Don't worry about us. I'll keep an eye on things here."

Giving Steve a quick kiss, Harry headed for the birthing room, glad that he wasn't the one on the bed this time.

Hours later an exhausted but elated-looking Clint emerged holding a small blue bundle. "Guys. I want you all to meet Archer Clinton Malfoy."

"Sir," Jarvis said, lowering the music.

"What's up J?"

"There are some test scores that you may want to look at."

"Okay, give me a bit to finish up this wiring, then I'll head up. It should almost be dinner by then and I know my Bucky Bear is making something wonderful. Do me a favour though J and stop me if I start working on something new."

"Very good Sir."

Tony went back to the wiring on his new gauntlet, wanting to get it fixed sooner rather than later. Bucky had been insistent that Tony come up for dinner every night, and he wasn't allowed back into the lab unless he could prove that what he was working on was under an extreme deadline or of vital importance to the Avengers. It was annoyingly sweet.

"I have returned victorious!" Tony said as he emerged from the elevator.

"And what was your victory today?" Bucky asked with a smile as he leaned down to steal a kiss.

"The wiring for the newest gauntlet is finished. J is running tests on it, but I don't think he'll find any problems."

"That's good," Bucky went back to cooking their dinner. "What do you want to do tonight?"

"J has some test scores to go over with me, then we could watch a movie. I'm still angry that Jamie has forbidden us from joining him trick-or-treating this year."

"I know Doll. The Little Punk is just excited to have his dad this year. You do have some time before dinners ready if you wanted to…wait, what test scores?"

"I have Jarvis keep an eye on all high school science test scores across the country along with their entrance exams. If he finds someone impressive, then we send the school an advanced set of tests. For every kid who scores above a ninety, and who wants to continue their studies in a science field then SI, depending on their financial situation, will offer them a scholarship with a possible offer of an internship later."

"That's amazing Doll."

Tony just shrugged. "Hit me with those test scores J." Picking up the StarkPad Tony scrolled through the test results for the entrance exams for Mid-Town High. Nothing really popped out at him until he was halfway down the list, then one name jumped out at him. Peter Parker. Eighth grade and already beating the grades of the twelfth graders. Hell, if he thought about it, this Parker kid could probably beat the scores of some of the kids at MIT.

"Jarvis, send the tests to Parker's school. Let's see how far this kid can go. Oh, and do me a favour and keep an eye on Parker for me. See what the family's financials are and keep me posted."

"Very good Sir."

"Okay, Doll. Put the pad down and come eat dinner."

Sighing dramatically Tony put his pad down and followed his nose to the table where Bucky was putting the finishing touches on their dinner. "I have never been more thankful that Harry and Jarvis teamed up to teach you how to cook."

"Yeah," Bucky rubbed the back of his neck with his flesh hand. "I guess I just needed some incentive to cook properly and no better incentive than my fella."

"You already know I'm a sure thing Barns, no need to stroke my ego."

Bucky just shook his head, "hush up and eat your dinner. Maybe if you're very good I'll stroke something other than your ego." Smirking, Tony began shovelling food into his mouth. "Slow down," Bucky laughed. "Don't choke. There's still dessert."

Tony paused, his fork halfway to his mouth. "What's for dessert?"

Smirking, Bucky licked his fork. "I may have convinced Harry to make us a blueberry cheesecake."

Moaning, Tony put his fork down and looked at his plate. "Part of me wants to ask why we're bothering eating this when there's cheesecake, but I really do love your cooking."

"Well, eat up and then maybe you can have cake." Both men settled into a comfortable silence as they finished their dinners. Taking the plates into the kitchen Bucky called back over his shoulder, "Doll, why don't you head into the living room. We can have the cheesecake there."

Nodding to himself, Tony got up and headed for the living room. Instead of getting comfortable on the couch, Tony made his way to the large picture windows. Standing at the window Tony allowed himself to get lost in the views of the city.

Bucky stood in the doorway staring at Tony backlit by the city and wondered what he had done to deserve such a partner. Quickly checking his pocket, he took a deep breath and headed into the room. Shaking his head to clear it, Bucky made his way over to Tony and wrapped his arms around the other man's waist.

Tony sighed and leaned back into the strong chest, enjoying feeling small and protected. He wasn't sure what he had done to deserve this, but Tony promised himself and science that he would do everything in his power to make sure he didn't mess it up. He felt Bucky pull one arm away and fiddle with something in his pocket before bringing his arm back around and putting something in Tony's hand.

Looking down Tony was surprised to find a small box resting in his hand. Slowly, Tony opened the box and gasped in surprise. There, nestled in the red velvet was a silver ring. Jerking forward Tony turned to look at Bucky in disbelief.

Bucky licked his lips, feeling horribly nervous. "So, I asked Jarvis if there was any metal leftover from when you made my arm and I used it to make this…um, I also might have used some scraps from your armour to make another ring." Here Bucky paused and took a deep breath. "You've helped me so much, even when you probably shouldn't have. I don't think I would be as comfortable in this century without your help. I never thought I could have the type of love and happiness that Steve and Harry have together. Then I found you. I love you Anthony Stark and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?"

Tony blinked at Bucky not quite believing what he had heard. He took long enough that Bucky was getting nervous and reached to take the ring back. Moving quickly, Tony shut his hand around the box and pulled it to his chest. "No! the only way you are getting this back is to put it on my finger."

"Wait," Bucky pulled back feeling confused. "Are you saying yes, or no?"

"YES!" Tony exclaimed as he launched himself at Bucky. "Yes, I'll marry you! Let's get married. Right now!"

Bucky laughed, "I thought you might say that. Do you want to get changed or go like this?"

"Do you want me to change? 'Cause I will if you want me to, but if you're okay with it, I'd rather just marry you."

Taking Tony's hand Bucky headed for the elevator that Jarvis had waiting for them. "I may have hired our nephew to have everything ready for tonight."

Laughing Tony reached up to kiss his soon-to-be husband. "And how much is he charging us for this?"

"An absolute fortune in Lego. Specifically, the new Avenger's Tower Lego set, Iron Man Lego helmet, and all the Lego Mech Armour sets. With an agreement to buy him any more Lego Mech armour sets when they come out."

"Not a bad deal. So, where are we heading?"

Bucky passed Tony a small piece of parchment which Tony opened and read. "Jamie insisted I give you this and that you read it before we get there." Bucky paused to give Tony a moment to read the paper. "As for where we're going…why your favourite place in the Tower." As Bucky stopped speaking the elevator doors opened to Tony's lab. On one side the lab had been cleaned with the tables pushed to one side. In the open area, their family had gathered for them.

Phil smiled at them and gestured for the two men to join him at one end of the lab. "We are gathered here today to celebrate one of life's greatest moments, Tony Stark actually settling down. I mean…the joining of two hearts and to give recognition to the worth and beauty of love, and to add our best wishes to the words which shall unite this couple in marriage. Should there be anyone who has cause why this couple should not be united in marriage...keep your mouth shut.

Today we have come together to witness the joining of these two lives. For them, out of the routine of ordinary life, the extraordinary has happened. They met each other, fell in love and are finalizing it with their wedding. A good marriage must be created. It is never being too old to hold hands. It's remembering to say I love you every day and it is not just marrying the right person; it's being the right partner. Now, the vows. Tony, you go first."

Tony smiled, now the paper Jamie had sent for him made sense. "I Tony Stark take you Bucky to be my husband, my partner in life and my one true love. I will cherish our friendship and love you today, tomorrow, and forever."

"Bucky, your turn."

"I Bucky Barnes take you Tony to be my husband, my partner in life and my one true love. I will cherish our friendship and love you today, tomorrow, and forever."

"Tony, do you take Bucky to be your husband? Do you promise to love, honour, cherish and protect him, not get annoyed when he leaves weapons all over the place, and forsaking all others and holding only unto him?"

"I do."

"Bucky, do you take Tony to be your husband? Do you promise to love, honour, cherish and protect him, keep him from spending too much time in the lab, and forsaking all others and holding only unto him?"

"I do."

"Now the rings, and I'm not going to say anything about never-ending circles. We've already heard that twice over."

Tony reached out and took Bucky's metal hand in his own while taking the ring Rhodey passed him. "With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way into darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine." Slowly he slipped the ring onto the metal finger, unable to stop smiling.

Taking Tony's left hand Bucky smiled and slipped the ring he had stolen back partway onto Tony's finger. "With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way into darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine." Smiling, he pushed the ring fully onto Tony's finger.

"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you-" neither man waited for Phil to finish before they were kissing. Sighing, Phil shook his head and walked away. "Okay, they're married now. Let's go trick-or-treating."

Laughing, the group headed back to their respective floors to change into their costumes and head out for candy. Tony and Bucky stood together, still holding one another. Eventually, Bucky pulled away but kept a hold of his husband's hand. "Come on Doll. We gotta get to the airport. The plane is waiting to take us to Malibu where a car will be waiting so you can drive us to your mansion. Pepper has cleared your schedule until the eleventh. The plane will be bringing us home on the ninth."

"Look at you and all your plans," Tony stretched up to give Bucky a quick kiss. "Can I assume that you have also packed our stuff?" Bucky smiled and nodded. "Wait! What about my cheesecake?"

"It's waiting in the fridge on the plane."

"Well then," pulling on his husband's hand Tony led the way out of the lab. "Let's get going!"

Tony and Bucky returned from their honeymoon to find the family had gathered on the common. "Smells good in here," Tony said as Bucky stole Sarah from Steve. "Thanks for cooking."

"Of course," Harry told him. "The last thing you want to do when coming home from vacation is have to cook."

"So, I have a question," Bruce asked from between the twins. "Are you going to let the press know that you're married?"

Bucky looked at Tony and shrugged. They had already talked about it; he didn't care if the press knew about them. He was going to leave that decision up to his husband. Tony shook his head, "no. Well, at least not yet. I'm enjoying having something that's just ours."

The others smiled and agreed. They all knew what it was like having the press trying to get into every part of their lives so they couldn't blame Tony for wanting to keep this secret.

"I can't wait to see their faces when they finally find out," Harry laughed as he set down the main dish. "Alright, people. Food's done, come and eat."

"Mum? Dad?" Jamie called out from his parent's doorway.

"Humm…Jamie?" Harry rolled over and poked his husband. "Steve, Jamie's here."

"Oh? Jamie, what's wrong Mo stór? Do you want to come and cuddle with us?" His answer came when Jamie rushed forward and nearly slammed into the bed. Smiling, Steve reached over and pulled Jamie up onto the bed, settling the seven-year-old in the middle of the bed.

"Is Sarah, okay?" Jamie whispered as he snuggled into his dad's chest.

"She's perfectly fine Mo stór," Steve reassured Jamie. "If you look over on mum's side of the bed, you can see her in the bassinet."

"Oh, okay," after a quick glance Jamie lay down and fell asleep. Sharing a look, Steve and Harry soon joined him.

A few hours later, they were woken by Kaida jumping on the bed and laying with Harry. She was immediately followed by Lobo jumping up and laying on Jamie's legs. "Ugh, Steve can you pick Scout up? He can't jump up anymore and I know he's going to start whining if he's left down."

Groaning, Steve rolled out of bed and picked up the dog, placing him gently on the bed. "Don't even think about it, Scout. NO. Move over." Steve sighed and squeezed himself into the small space left on the bed. "Damn dogs."

Harry just laughed as he watched Steve try to get back into bed and cover himself with the blankets. "It's a good thing we have such a large bed. I'd hate to try and do this with the beds we grew up with."

"Oh, that wouldn't have happened," Steve agreed. "I don't think the two of us would have fit in one of those beds after I got the serum, never mind all this."

"Very true."

"Was your bed really that small?" Jamie asked.

Both men laughed and Steve pulled Jamie into a cuddle. "Mo stór, our bed growing up was smaller than your bed now. But that's a story for another time, for now, why don't we all try and get some more sleep. It's too early for even me to be up."

Jamie just yawned and snuggled closer to his dad. Sharing a fond smile both Steve and Harry settled back into sleep. They didn't know it, but it would be one of the last peaceful night's sleep in a very long time.

Hearing the annoying ring tone brought Jane Foster out of her funk. She had just been in a huge battle with aliens from space and her sort-of boyfriend (also from space) had just taken off again and she had no clue too when he might be back. Turning in a circle, Jane searched for her phone a little glad that Darcy wasn't here to make fun of her. Finding her phone in the couch she quickly checked the number. Not recognizing it, she took a moment to think before answering. "Hello?"

"Is this Doctor Foster?"

"It is. Who's this?"

"Tony Stark."

Holy shit! Why is Tony Stark calling me? "What can I do for you Doctor Stark?"

"Oh wow. No one's called me that in ages. I was actually trying to get a hold of tall blond and caped. Is he there?"

"Thor? No, he left for Asgard just after the fight."

"Hum, can you tell me what happened? I'm going to have some angry one-eyed annoyances on my case soon and I'd like to have some answers for him."

"Right. SHIELD. I'm going to assume that you know nothing of the convergence or the nine realms?"

"No, I've never heard of those, other than Thor mentioning that there are nine realms."

"Okay. Doctor Stark would it be alright if I called you back. You see I was just involved in that fight, and I haven't had a chance to change or shower and I would like to have my friend Erik involved in this as well as he was the one studying it."

"That's fine. I understand completely. Nothing like a hot shower and too much food after a battle. Waiting would also work for me. Would you mind if I brought some others as well?"

"That's fine. Would I be able to call this number back?"

"Why don't you text this number when you're ready and I can have a video conference set up if you have a computer available for that?"

"Yes, I do. Would two o'clock work for you?"

"Umm…that's what, nine our time J?"

"Indeed Sir."

"Okay, nine works for me. Thank you, Doctor Foster; I look forward to speaking with you in a few hours."

"Who was that?"

Jane jumped startled by the voice coming from behind her. "Darcy! Don't do that."

"Yeah, okay…but who were you talking to?"

"Doctor Stark called asking about what happened this morning."

"Holy Shit! Tony Stark called you."

"Yes, he did. I guess he has Shield asking him about what happened here. I need to find Erik and talk with him quick, then go for a shower and eat something. We've got a conference call with Stark and his associates at two."

"Well then, I suggest you get showered and dressed in more lady clothes. I'll find Erik and make sure he's showered and has his pants."

"Thanks, Darcy." Jane smiled at her friend and headed to do exactly as she suggested.

Bucky groaned and rolled over searching for the warm body that should be in bed next to him, only to find the bed empty and a little cold. Sighing he rolled back over checked the clock and pushed himself up and out of bed. "Damn Shellhead can't even wake me up. At least I know he came to bed last night and got some sleep." Pulling his pants on Bucky headed out of their bedroom.

He and Tony had been sharing a room for over a year now, so he was used to the other man's odd habits. One thing he did know was that if Tony went to bed at a reasonable time, he never wanted to get up before nine. That Tony was up, and it wasn't even seven meant something was up.

"Jarvis? Is Tony alright?"

"Sir is perfectly fine Sergeant. He received an urgent call early this morning and didn't want to disturb you. Sir is currently in the living room on the phone with Doctor Foster about an event in Greenwich this morning. While I haven't told Sir that you are up, I have taken the liberty of putting another pot of coffee on for you."

"Thanks, J. You're the best." When he first arrived at the tower the AI had unnerved him. The idea of constantly being watched by someone/thing that he couldn't see was hell on his healing mind. Jarvis seemed to understand and had gone out of his way to make sure Bucky knew that if he didn't want to be watched or listened to, he only needed to say so. On top of that Jarvis had made sure that all the little things that Bucky liked or that seemed to help him cope were always in the apartment. It hadn't taken Bucky long to come to love having the AI in his life.

Making a quick stop in the kitchen for two cups of coffee, Bucky then headed for the living room. "Morning Doll," he said once Tony had hung up the phone. Sitting down on the couch next to his husband, Bucky offered him the other cup. "What's got you up so early this morning?"

"Fury."

"Fuck. That one-eyed bastard is now fucking with morning sex with my husband, not cool."

Tony laughed and cuddled into Bucky's chest. "Apparently there was an incident in Greenwich early this morning…or late their morning. Thor was fighting some aliens…again."

"So, why was Fury calling you?"

"He needs information and wants me to find it."

"Doesn't he have an entire spy network? What does he need you for?"

"No idea. I'm looking into it for myself now. I'll see if I decide to share with Fury later." Tony paused to take a long sip of his coffee. "I called Doctor Foster, Thor's girlfriend, and we have a conference call with her at nine."

"Do we need to call the rest of the team?"

"I think so."

"Okay," Bucky finished the rest of his coffee and put the cup down. "I'll call the Punk while you shower and get dressed." Standing, Bucky pulled Tony up onto his feet and pushed him towards their bedroom. "Jarvis, would you mind telling the others about the meeting and ask them to join us just before nine."

"Of course, Sergeant."

"See, we've got it. Go shower and I might just join you." Smirking he watched as Tony raced towards the bathroom. "Jarvis? Would you mind putting a call through to Steve for me?"

"Right away Sergeant."

"Buck?" Harry's voice was ruff with sleep. "What's up? Wait, what time is it?"

"Sorry for calling early Harry. We've got a bit of an issue going on. Could you all come to the tower for nine?"

"Ugh. I hate you. Fine."

"I'll have tea waiting for you and breakfast."

"You fucking better. We'll see you in a few."

Signalling for Jarvis to hang up the phone, Bucky headed for the shower he could still hear running. Despite the early meeting and even earlier morning, he still wanted some morning sex.

Reaching over Jamie, Harry poked Steve in the side. "Wazit?" Steve blinked over at Harry.

"That was Buck. He and Tony need us at the tower."

"What time is it?"

"Too early…tempus…seven-thirty."

"This had better be good or I'll kill them both." This was supposed to be a day off for him. No going into the office, no training recruits, and yet here he was getting up before nine and going into the second office for a meeting.

Laughing, Harry gave Steve's shoulder a gentle push. He knew how much his husband hated mornings. "Go shower while I wake the kids and get their things together."

Steve leaned over the bump in the bed to kiss his husband. "I'll take the dogs with me, so you don't have to worry about them."

The two men got up and began moving about the house. Steve took the dogs downstairs and put them out in the yard before heading for the shower. Meanwhile, Harry headed to Jamie's room to get his son clothes for the day then back to his room to put together a small diaper bag for Sarah. He was thankful that Tony had gone out and gotten everything that all the children in the tower might need. All Harry needed to bring were the few items Sarah always had to have with her. One of those being the Bucky Bear Tony had given her when she was born.

Once he had everything packed up, Harry quickly got dressed and woke Jamie. "Come on Love, you need to get up. We have to go and see your uncles at the tower." Slowly with much groaning and protesting, Jamie got out of his parent's bed and got dressed. While Jamie got dressed, Harry dressed Sarah. Once they were all dressed, he herded Jamie downstairs where Steve was waiting for them.

Chuckling Steve picked up Jamie and took the bag from Harry. "Come on Mo stór, let's head to the tower and you can annoy your uncles about waking you up." Throwing the floo powder into the fire Steve called out for Harry's apartment and stepped through. Once on the other side he put Jamie down and held his arms out to catch Harry.

"So," Harry said as they emerged from the elevator onto the common room. "Want to explain why you got us up and over here this early in the morning."

"Thanks for coming and I am sorry for calling you, especially when I know it's your day off Steve," Tony said, taking Sarah from Harry. "Fury called me early this morning about an incident in Greenwich England."

"Oh Merlin," Harry went pale and had to sit down.

"Thor was there fighting aliens, cause apparently, that's the thing now. I called Doctor Foster, Thor's girlfriend, asking about what happened. She didn't tell me anything, but we have a meeting with her at nine. She's going to explain what happened, something about the nine realms and a convergence."

"The convergence," Steve started pacing. "Why does that sound familiar?"

Harry hummed in thought as he sipped the tea Bucky had given him. "I don't know, but you're right. It does sound familiar." Leaning forward, Harry helped himself to some of the breakfast finger foods laid out on the table.

"Okay Stark," Clint grumbled as he, Nat, and Bruce entered the common floor. "Why are we here?"

"Thor was fighting aliens in England this morning," Tony said bouncing Sarah. "Where's Draco and the little Arrow?"

"Still in our room, sleeping. Archer had a rough night and Draco was up with him for most of it. They both fell asleep a couple of hours ago, so I thought I'd leave them sleeping. Jarvis said he would let me know if Archer starts waking so I can get him."

"Do we know anything about what Thor was doing this morning?" Natasha asked.

"No, that's all we really know," Tony settled on the couch beside Bucky who was acting as Jamie's pillow, allowing Sarah to play with both her uncles. "Jarvis has pulled up some video, but it's mostly from cellphones so the quality isn't the best." He motioned to the pad sitting on the coffee table, not wanting to pull up a video of the fight with the kids around.

Picking up the pad Natasha held it so both Bruce and Clint could see the video as well. The three watched the videos a few times then put the pad down. "Okay, even I'm confused," Bruce admitted. "What was going on here?"

"No idea," Tony admitted. "That's why I called Doctor Foster. She was there with Thor, helping, I guess. She said that she could talk with us at nine."

"Why do I know about the convergence?" Steve mumbled to himself as he continued to pace around the room.

Harry just shook his head and drank Steve's tea. "Why don't you floo Granddad? He probably knows about it."

"I'll do that," not waiting for anyone else to comment Steve was up and heading for the elevator.

Harry watched him go with sleepy eyes. Leaning his head against the back of the couch Harry closed his eyes and focused on his occlumency. He had a bad feeling about this. Tony and Bucky kept Sarah and Jamie occupied while the others went over the little data they had.

It wasn't long before Steve rejoined them, carrying two cups of tea. Sitting down beside Harry he wrapped an arm around his husband's shoulders while offering him the other cup of tea. "So, Granddad knew of the convergence, as do most of MACUSA. He also said that they've heard rumblings from England about this and Phantom being spotted. It sounds like we might be summoned to the Wizanmont."

"The Lords or the Avengers?" Harry asked his teacup.

"Both."

"Ugh."

"Sir, if I may interrupt. Doctor Foster has sent a message saying that she is ready if we are."

"Sure. Patch her through J," Tony adjusted Sarah in his lap.

"Before you do that J," Clint interrupted them. "How's Archer? I'd prefer to get him before we start the call if he's showing signs of waking."

"I believe that if you left now Agent Malfoy, then young Archer should just be showing signs of waking when you get there."

"Thanks. If you guys don't mind waiting a few minutes?"

"Of course, Clint," Steve nodded. "We understand. Go get Archer while the rest of us can load up on snacks and drinks. I'll even get a bottle ready for Archer."

Nodding his thanks Clint headed for the elevator while the rest of the family dispersed to get more food and coffee. While Steve made up two bottles, one for Sarah and the other for Archer, Harry got Jamie settled with breakfast, a pad, and headphones in his special chair. They all gathered back in the living room a few minutes later and settled in the couches and chairs. Once everyone was ready Jarvis put through the call.

"Good morning," Jane said trying to hide her surprise at how many people were there.

"Good god there are a lot of you!" Darcy, however, had no issues showing her shock.

The avengers laughed. "Yeah," Tony admitted. "I guess there are a few of us. I figured it would be better to have the entire team here for this, rather than try and explain it all second hand later."

"I suppose that makes sense," Jane looked down and fidgeted with her papers feeling a little uncomfortable. "So, according to Thor there are nine realms with Yggdrasil and that they orbit Earth. Every five thousand years, the worlds align and that is the convergence."

"What, like in Hercules?" Harry asked as he put down his tea.

"Exactly!" Darcy exclaimed looking excited. "See! That's a much better way to explain it."

"Anyway," Jane shot Darcy a glare and continued her explanation. "While the realms are aligned the borders between worlds thins."

"The nine realms are passing through each other and gravity, light, and even matter is switching from one world to another," Erik butted in.

"Please tell me you have pants on," Darcy said as she inched away from Erik.

Steve and Bucky both snickered. Harry just shook his head. Over the next few hours, they listened to Jane tell them about the Dark Elves, Asgard, the death of Frigga and Loki, and details about the battle.

The letters came a couple of days later. Steve and Harry had been staying at the tower since the meeting with Doctor Foster. They had been talking about what to expect from the British wizarding world and making plans for the avengers' next political battle.

The letters had arrived early the morning of the seventeenth. Hedwig and Ekbert followed the ministry owls, still trying to take the letters. Laughing, Steve took the letters from the ministry owls and passed them to their owls. Letting out a screech at the other owls Hedwig took Harry's letter and flew it over to him. "Thanks, girl. I'm sure you keep your eye on those owls the entire time." Giving Hedwig pets Harry decided that the letter could wait. Across the living room, Steve was doing the same with Ekbert.

Harry had to take a deep calming breath before he could open the letter. Once he was sure his magic wouldn't explode Harry opened the envelope. Yep, he thought, it's exactly what I expected from them. Just what I don't want to do. I never wanted to return to England, there's no need. It's only going to bring up horrible memories. But Harry turned to look at Steve who was reading his own letter. At least I won't have to go alone and there's no Dark Lords out for my blood this time.

Dear Lords and Ladies,

It has come to worldwide attention that the Norse God Thor was seen fighting the Dark Elves in Greenwich England on November 15, 2013. This along with the actions of an unknown wizard in Jezierce Poland on November 17, 2012, has broken the Statute of Secrecy along with several other secrecy laws.

We must therefore insist on a meeting to address our actions regarding this blatant disrespect and breaking of our sacred laws. The meeting shall take place on November twenty-second at ten in the morning. We shall arrange for transportation for those Lords and Ladies outside of the country. Attached to this letter there is a portkey that will bring the member to the Wizengamot chambers.

Any lord not attending shall be tried for treason.

With best regards,

Guinevere Wood

Secretary to the minister of Magic

Sent from the office of the Minister of Magic this fifteenth day of November two-thousand and thirteen.

"I see you have all received the letters," Theodore said as he entered the common floor. "Arthur has asked that I attend the meeting as a representative of MACUSA since the Avengers are American citizens and have been recognized by MACUSA. The British won't be happy, but we don't care. I think it would be a good idea to head over a couple of days before. We can stay at the manor and give everyone a chance to explore the British wizarding world before the meeting."

Tony jumped up and clapped his hands, excited. "I'll get the plane ready. Someone should call Aunt Pegs, see if she and the Commandos want to come with."

Bucky shook his head then picked up his phone. He knew better than to argue with his husband when he got like this.

"Harry," Steve called out. "Are you coming with us?" Standing in the open doorway Steve couldn't help but laugh a little at his husband. Harry was still in bed and hiding under the covers. From behind him Bucky and Tony were both laughing at their brothers' actions.

"No!" Harry called pulling the blankets up to hide his face. "I refuse to step one foot in the wizarding world until I have to attend the stupid meeting "

"What about the kids?" Bucky asked, hoping that he might convince Harry to come out.

"Peggy has absconded with Sarah and the Howlies have taken Jamie fishing. There is nothing that will convince me to come out. Actually," slowly Harry lowered the blanket to reveal his eyes. "Steve you should join me in bed. I'm sure we could find something to do while the others after gone."

"You're seriously going to let Sirius and the twins be the team's only guide to the magical world?"

"No, Sev, Luc, Draco, Remus and Phil are all going as well. You don't need me, and I don't need to be mobbed and attacked so I'm staying right here. Are you staying with me or not Steve?"

Shrugging Steve turned back to Bucky and tony. "Sorry, looks like we're staying in today. Would you mind telling the others?"

"What? That you and Harry are going to stay home and have wild kinky sex all day?" Bucky shook his head and began pulling Tony behind him. "Fine. Remember protection! Or don't! I'm not opposed to having another niece or nephew." Flipping the pair off Steve shut the door behind them.

Harry emerged scowling. He did not want to do this but knew that if he didn't there would be a warrant out of his arrest. Finding Tony, Harry held out a pin in his hand.

"What's this?" Tony asked as he looked over the pin. There were two rearing stags on either side of a huge ruby.

"This," Harry attached the pin to Tony's suit. "Is a retainer pin. It shows that you are under the protection of the House of Potter. Please, try to keep the snark and sarcasm to a minimum while in the chambers. You are the minority here and most of the lords will hold your lack of magic against you and use it to try to goad you to show how animalistic you are and use that to try and send you to Azkaban. I would like to avoid as much trouble as possible."

Knowing that his brother had serious issues with the British magical world Tony quickly agreed. Thankful that Tony was going to mostly behave, Harry headed over to Natasha and held out a broach to her. "I know that what is between you and Sirius is casual...but, the idiots here are very traditional and old-fashioned. While Sirius can't hold the title of Lord Black, he does still retain all his rights as a member of the House of Black. Including protection for the woman he is courting."

Nodding, Nat looked the broach over. "I've been meaning to ask, why isn't Sirius Lord Black?"

"It's because I was in jail," Sirius pinned the broach to her dress with a smile. "It's in the family charter that anyone who has been in jail cannot hold the title of lord. It doesn't matter that I had no trial or that I was innocent, I was in jail and that's all the family magic cares about. I don't mind though, never did want the title anyways."

"What about the others?" Tony asked still looking at the pin.

"Steve is claiming Bucky as a Grant retainer, Clint is Heir Consort Malfoy, and I think Sev is claiming Bruce as a Prince Retainer. So that's everyone covered."

"One more question," Tony smirked. "What's with your hair? Why is it suddenly so long?"

Harry reached up and tugged on his now shoulder-length hair. "Hair growth potion. Traditionally, all lords have long hair. So, here we are."

"We?" Tony pauses and thinks for a moment before laughing. Steve and Bucky had joined the others. Steve was wearing an outfit similar to his wedding suit while Bucky was dressed in his military uniform, making Tony want to stay behind.

"Shut up Tony," Steve sighed as he wrapped an arm around Harry's waist. Like Harry, Steve's hair hung down to his shoulders. It went against his years as a soldier, but he needed to fit in to protect his husband and his family.

Twisting in Steve's grip Harry reaches into his pocket and pulls out a length of red and gold ribbon which he uses to tie Steve's hair back into a ponytail. "There. You look better with your hair back."

Laughing Steve pulled Harry in for a kiss. "And the tie being in your colours has nothing to do with it?"

"Not a thing." Sighing Harry pulled away and held up the port-key. "Let's get this done and over with, shall we?"

There we go! Hope you all liked it. Once again let me know if there is anything you can think of that you might like to see in the story. I don't have much of an outline for this one so I welcome suggestions, even if I can't guarantee they'll end up in the story.

I may be coming back and expanding Jane's explanation if I ever figure it out. Also, if anyone has any suggestions as to what laws Phantom and Thor could have broken let me know.
