9. Chapter 8

While Scattershot and the kids were admiring the Destiny Gundam that Lancex was showing them, Red Alert was talking with Vector Prime and Optimus regarding the med exam on Lancex. Optimus was especially eager to hear more about their new ally so that Optimus knew just how strong of an ally that they had gained. "While he appears human, he isn't exactly human. He heals faster than humans and he has a red X across his back that is obviously a recent scar, as evidenced by the fact it is still red in color" Red explained. Optimus and Vector Prime were greatly surprised to hear this.

But as they were listening, Vector received a comm from another bot – a key had bee located. "Optimus, not to change the subject, but I have received a comm that a likely location for a CyberPlanet Key" Vector Prime cut in.

Optimus looked to the other Prime, curious as to what the other would say. "What information have you received?" Optimus asked.

"It sounds like a small island" Vector Prime answered, giving the coordinates.

Optimus nodded. "I will go, with Jetfire as my back up" Optimus. Vector Prime nodded but requested that Lancex go along as well. Figuring it would help, Optimus nodded and he commed for Jetfire and Lancex to come to the main room. Both came running in and were informed as to why they had been called.

"Let's go" Jetfire added and headed to his take off platform.

Lancex nodded and headed for his Gundam Destiny. Lancex had to quickly explain that he needed to leave and he would let the others look at it later. They left it alone as Lancex climbed inside. After closing the special hatch and performing necessary protocols, Lamcex was soon ready to go. "Lancex, Destiny Gundam, launch" Lancex called out and soon, the Gundam lifted and headed for the platform Jetfire used to leave the base. Lancex in his Gundam so caught up with and flew with VectorPrime, Jetfire and Optimus.

Meanwhile, unuaware that Lancex had left, Overhaul was trying to figure out just why his systems reacted so strangely around Lancex. But once overhaul learned the Lancex was on a mission with the others, Overhaul was two things – worried about Lancex's safety and Jealous of the other bots. It was messed up or so he thought, but it didn't change how he felt.
