While Overhaul was lost in his musings, Optimus, Jetfire, Vector Prime and Lancex in his Gundam soon arrived at the distant island, hoping to find something that would either be a key or lead them to a Cyber Planet key. Upon arriving at the island, all four land and Vector Prime carefully scans the island to see if anything of use would be available here. And as Vector did that, Lancex, noticing the beautiful sunset, headed towards a cliff in his robot ship and opened the cockpit door so that he could see this beautiful sight in person and not through a window.
Optimus, seeing that Vector was busy scanning and Jetfire was watching for cons, went to talk to Lancex as he stared at the fading light. "Earth is such a beautiful planet with beautiful views" Optimus mentioned, coming along side Lancex as the young man stared as the sunset over the ocean.
"I can't remember the last time I saw something so breathtaking" Lancex replied, not uncomfortable at all around the Autobot leader. Optimus felt like a fatherly figure.
Optimus smiled. "And how is everyone treating you so far?" Optimus asked.
"This kids are really nice, very inquisitive, but nice. The other bots treat me well as well" Lancex replied, not wanting to mention that he felt Overhaul acted a bit weird but then Lancex also felt a bit weird around the bot.
"I am glad to see and hear that they are treating you well" Optimus replied to that and then Vector approached the two. "Any luck, Vector Prime?"
"No this was a false lead. We must head back and regroup or the cons May find the first one before we do" Vector Prime answered. Optimus nodded, Lancex shut the cockpit door to his Gundam, and the four took off to head back to the base.
Meanwhile, back at the base and feeling like his was losing his mind, Overhaul went and talked to Red Alert. Red Alert was shocked to see the bot, especially since Overhaul wasn't injured. "What are you doing here?" Red asked the bot.
"I have some questions" Overhaul replied and Red raised an optic ridge, as this was not like Ovehaul. Overhaul peppered the medic with questions which red alert answered just as fast as Overhaul got them out. "And finally, what is the world is going on with my spark?"
Red alert thought about it, and then asked a question of his own, "are you a known submissive bot?" Red asked, knowing much would be said in Overhaul's reaction.
"Frag no!" Overhaul replied extremely emphatically which tipped Red off that the medic was right.
"You sure about that? Your actions, your questions, and your reactions all tell me otherwise" Red Alert replied, backing Overhaul into a corner.
Unable to lie anymore, Overhaul lowered his helm and spoke quietly, "I was told long ago that yes, I was, but not to worry as it would never be a problem unless my spark found someone to belong to" overhaul revealed in utmost secrecy.
"Well, you better realize that your submissive side has now been activated. You better be careful" Red stated and soon left Overhaul alone, as the bot had much to think about. Overhaul wasn't sure if this was a good or a bad thing yet, but there would be much to happen before he realized just type of thing it was.
